We consented to a 90 minute presentation that lasted 4 hours and consented to their vacation plan while in Playa del Carmen Mexico. However before we left - 5 days later - decided this was not for us. It cost us almost $1500 for this foolish mistake. We did get out but at that price. They said there was NO get out clause. Buyers beware. Lots of other stories on this site. I have made a pact with myself. Sleep on it and if you are on vacation come back and learn about what you are buying. If we had come back to the states and wanted out no telling what it would have cost.
I've heard before about the scams being committed by Aventura Spa Palace, it seems like Playa del Carmen is full of fraudulent timeshare companies. We purchased a Royal Elite timeshare with Sandos Playacar for a studio unit. One year later when we attempted to book the unit we were sold, we were told that unit does not actually exist at that resort. We can go to the "Superior" room, or pay extra weeks to be upgraded, IF they can accomodate us at the time. They are deceitful. Beware. This is a forum with more complaints made on this company:

This is actually true. The Palace Premier Resort in Punta Cana and Mexico is complete scam. We was taken right at the airport where they impersonated an Experian representative. We filed credit card fraud and Identity theft with federal agencies and filed a dispute with the bank. Up to this point we have not heard any results. However, having read all the previous complaints and victims I do not expect and protection. Do not under any circumstance deal with Palace Premier Resorts. If you do not believe me just Google Palace Premier Resorts Scams so that you can notice the victims of this scam.

my husband and I were on vacation at Palace in Carmen Cancun Mexico, we were persuaded into buying the timeshare, and before leaving the the resort had an conflict with the Spa, and cancelled the timeshare before leaving the hotel. P.S 2 years later still no refund WE GOT SCAMMED! Any help out there please contact me
