2014 ford f150
The master break cylinder seal failed. I saw on line there was a recall for this issue. Ford will not perform the repair under the recall. Stating my truck was not manufactured at the plant included in the recall. At one point they suggested they would offer financial assistance then the following day they declined any assistance. The master break cylinder seal and booster failure on 2014 Ford F150 is a known defect to Ford they should pay for the repair.
Non existant after sales service
I purchased a new f-150 truck from Advantage Ford on the 25th June this year and recycled my old truck through Fords recycle your ride scheme, I was told by the sales rep Cam Peters that it would take four weeks to get $3000 back from Ford, I have still not recieved the cheque [6 Months], I contacted Ford customer relations and they informed me that the sales manager at Advantage Ford had filled in the application with the wrong code, I have tried to contact both Cam Peters and the sales manager as have Ford customer relations but we have both had no reply. The sales manager simply has to fill out and fax a new application form with the correct sales code for Fords to process my claim, it seems that as soon as you drive your new truck away from the forecourt they want nothing to do with you.
I know what you are going through. I recently purchased a F-350 and the salesman told me they would offer me 14, 000 for my trade in. The surprise came when at the end of the month my loan difference was out by 4, 000. They only gave me 10k for the trade in. After several emails I got a call from the ford rep telling me there is nothing I can do because I signed the paperwork. I suppose this is what I get for having rushed through a sale and trusting Advantage ford to do the right thing.
