I was charged twice for shipping & handling of $4.99 and twice for $78.81 for the product - all on the same day. The company falsely stated to me that this is an "authorization" and not a charge. I am absolutely furious!

I was taken by this company. They have a website for easy cancel and i called the phone number listed. After a long wait a woman could not find anything with my name or email address, home address, home phone or cell number. I was furious and asked how then is it possible you can charge my visa then? She hung up on me. I sent them an email on this and then called the number and this time a man answered and said sure he would cancel my account immediately and I said how when I have not even given you my name yet? He told me their system was down and this was on february 27th. I had to call capitol one and report this fraud and they are issuing me a new card and advised they would handle the fraud issue and I wished them luck as this company is nothing but a scam.

I did the trial offer and paid for SH $4.95...then was charged on my credit card $83.80 and put on auto shipments every month. I did call the company and spoke with a phone person who says I agreed to all the terms on the internet and they will not refund my money nor take back the product even though I refused the shipment by mail, never opened the shipment! I feel the company missrepresented the free trial offer and would like to caution all who think this is a deal! Does the public have any recourse?

I like everyone else who took a chance trying a "FREE SAMPLE" and later being Billed $78.81
for something I did not order. The only way I found out I had been taken advantage of is I recieved
a INTERNET FRAUD ALERT that notified me by phone. When I heard there was a charge from someone
in ISRAEL I called right away and they said it was a charge from the same company I placed an order
with for the "FREE SAMPLE" The Fraud Detector CO. gave me the phone number to call them and
when I did I was speaking to someone with a Middle Eastern accent and the background noise was
like he was on a cell phone in the middle of the street with a party going on. I told them what had happened
and asked why I Charged for something I didnt order? He told me that on the web site it said if I dont
call to cancel within 14 days they will automaticly ship me a order for $78.81 I told him I want to stop
this NOW... he asked if I could call back at some other time, their "system" was down! Yah Right !
I wonder how many other people he said this to. Next I called back my credit card company and asked if
I can have that transaction stopped. They said thet couldnt stop it because it wasnt a fraudulent charge.
They said since I had already done buisness with this company it was my faul for not reading the fine
print. So what I had to do was cancel my credit card to stop the charges from continuing.
The credit card company had heard 100's of complaints about this company, and I asked cant the
government do anthing about them? They said they are already looking into them, but in the mean time
they are still making money off of idiots like me... Let everyone you know what this company is doing
and lets get them shut down and put in prision.

Ordered a $4.99 Wax White Teeth trial & was billed $78.93 & $83.92 on my credit card a couple of weeks after I received my trial without any knowledge of it, nor did I give them permission too. Now I'am having to dispute these charges with my card co. I also called AWR to stop them from any more charging. So, be very weiry of these teeth whiting scams. They do not say anything about charging you later for more product or nothing. For that price I could have went to a dentist & got a better smile, thanks for reading.

On around 11/14/2008, I went online at the Advanced Wellness Research web site and ordered the trial 14 day Pure Acai Berry product for $14.99. They were to send the product to me by priority mail (within two cays). However, I did not receive the product for approx. 3 weeks. I charged it to my Discover Credit Card. On December 8, 2008 I received my statement from Discover Card, and saw the charge of $12.99 plus another unauthorized charge for $78.81 on November 28, 2008. I have no idea what this charge is for because I did not order anything else from that company. In fact, I am going to return the product that I ordered in the amount of $12.99.
I have attempted to call them at the telephone number on the product I received but have gotten no response.

I wish to add my complaint against this company for fraudent consumer practices. I will contact Discover Card to see what can be done to have the unauthorized charged removed and let them know that I have returned the product they sent me.

The Add stated you could try the product for 14 days free. If not satified or no results, there would be no charge. Then all of a sudden there was a $78.19 charge on my bank account. The way they got my bank information is that I had to pay $4.99 for shipping charges. That is all they said I had to pay. They did not give me time to repsond to my satisfaction of the product, which I only took 6 of the pills. They made me sick and I could not take anymore. I was in the process of shipping them back. I only had them for 15 days when I noticed the charge on my account. They would not let me speak to a supervisor. I am diputing the charge with my bank and trying to have the charges removed

will not give credit back even if you send the product back, and it is a lie when they say you have 14 days free trial. The company keeps billing your credit card. CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD NOW, Because you will keep getting billed FROM THIS COMPANY. No way of getting your money back. the phone number is not a working number. CANCEL CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD NOW!

Company advertises a 14 day trial period for product before charging for more, delivers the sample after billed for more product, attempts to cancel are fruitless as they will not accept cancellations by email and do not answer phone, sending to full voice mail boxes or do not return phone messages, product billed for not delivered either, bill for second "monthly" supply 2 weeks early. I had to cancel credit card number to stop billing and am contesting all charges through my bank, VISA, reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, State of Florida Attorney General's office and anyone else I can think of.

THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL FRAUD SET UP TO BILK UNSUSPECTING CONSUMERS OUT OF THEIR MONEY, STRINGING THEM ALONG JUST TO GET MORE CHARGES!

I just wanted to let you all know that we received a refund yesterday for the charges that were made for tAdvance Wellness Research's teethwhitening product. I complained to the BBB in Florida, The Attorney Generals Office in Florida and the Internet Crime Complaint Center. I am not sure who exactly got our refund, but we did receive it (over $80) so I recommend that you all complain. What this company does is against the law and the more we complain to the authoritiesabout them they will hopefully they put this company out of business.

I should have known NOT to order from a pop-up or testimonial site - but I did. Max White (teeth whitening system) and Acai Berry BIG MISTAKE! Initially they hook you on a "free trial" for shipping only. Once you receive free trial you are then billed repeatedly for items EVEN IF YOU CANCEL! First of all you call their customer service number listed on your card statement - Foreign representatives try to convey rules and regulations in extremely poor English which is upsetting to say the least. I have been charged an additonal $30.00 for some sort of "CLUB" that is a credit monitoring service from all I can figure out. That scares the life out of me - if they are monitoring MY CREDIT! Is there any other way to help warn other folks out there that are thinking about using their merchandise? I am trying to send an email to the "customer service" department - my computer keeps freezing up with the email address they've given me. My computer doesn't typically freeze up when sending emails. What a joke!

I called and cancelled my order. This was advertised as a free sample. I was given a cancellation number. Three days later I was charged $78.81 which was withdrawn from my account. When I call a service rep (who was in India) I was informed that my cancellation number was invalid. Not only were they hard to understand, but could hardly hear with all the background noise. After 20 minutes on the phone I was told that my shipments were cancelled and the money would be refunded in 3-5 days. What a pain in the ### this was! Definately not worth the "free" sample.

This website/company is a scam. - Do not give this business any financial information (credit card acct #, etc) - they will continue charging your account under the transaction description of "International Fee - Teeth White". So far, I have had a total of four charges - one for the freight charges for the free trial I ordered, one for $69.99 for, what they claim I agreed to, a membership fee, one for $.50 for the International Fee-Teeth White and one for $2.10 for the International Fee-Teeth White. When I attempted to contact a supervisor at this so-called company, I was told the supervisors were in a meeting and I would have to deal with the customer service person on the line (who gave the name as "Stephen" in a very distinctive Indian accent that was hard to understand since I am an English speaking American). This company has been reported to the fbi and will continue to be reported to any site I can find.

I was also taken by the tooth whitening scam.

The promotion identifies a 14 day trial, but I didn't receive the product until after 14 days. when I did receive th package, it had no infomration about the company, contact information, nothing. They also neve called as a follow up to inquire about my liking, or how and if I'd like to continue with the product, and how I'd like to manage any future payment.. Please know, they also automatically charge your account $78. on the 15th day. Like it's an emergency that I get more of this stuff.

I was online and order a free sample of the acaicia berry product and agreed to pay shipping and handling so I provided visa card number. I received my free sample and packing slip. Then I check put my banking account and found that they had charged my account $78.81 which I did not authorize besides the agreed shipping for the free sample. There was no mention on the packing slip stating that I had so many days to cancel any further shipments. I called the number [protected] and stated my displeasure at the extra charge. I did not receive my product for which the charge me either. I did this on 1-10-09. I was also told that I did not receive my product because they could not ship to my p o box. I did get my free sample through the mail, so did not understand her reasoning.

After finding out (of course I'd already paid for the "trial sample" ) that I would be billed $78.81 if I did not return product, I am unable to get a hold of the company. I called 3 times already and have been "mysteriously" disconnected after being put on hold. I have notified the Federal Trade Commisssion already about this company and I have been issued a new card by the credit card company to prevent further billing. Don't let this company scam you too. They got their $4.99 from me and that's all they're getting! I'm going to try to send back the rest of the bottle to the returns address they have on their website and get a receipt from the post office so I have proof. They can keep their product...I'm sure I can get this stuff cheaper any way at GNC or a health food store.

I was sent a free sample of teeth whitening product for the $6.99 charge for shipping and handling. When I received my credit card bill, I was charged the $6.99 and was charged another charge for $69.99. I called the company and was told that the free sample I sent for obligated me to terms and conditions to receive $600 more of teeth whitening product. I asked over 25 times to speak to a supervisor and was refused. Then the customer service person told me that the free sample was not really free and the charge for it was $69.99 plus the $6.99 they had also charged me for. He did cancel the $600 supposed obligation but refused to take the $69.99 charge off. He said that the companies home office was 1269 N. Wooddale Rd, Wooddale, IL 60191 and gave me a ref # for the cancellation. I ran out of time and could not further dispute the $69.99 charge. I called the company the next day and after asking 10 times was finally connected with a supposed supervisor. He said his name was Eddy from Asia and that the companies home office was in Miami, FL. The website address states Idaho. He refused to take the $69.99 charge off of my credit card account stating that he would lose his job if he did and the terms and conditions obligated him to charge me this. He then tried to negotiate by taking $40 off the $69.99 charge. When I asked to speak to his manager, he said he was busy and couldn't talk for a couple of hours and would not beable to call me back. I ask for his name and Eddy told me the supervisors name was Art but didn't know his last name because Art was new but that it started with an L. I told Eddy that no one in their right mind is going to request a free sample of teeth whitening product and obligate themselves to an additional $600 charge based on their terms and conditions for a product that we have never tried before. My credit card company is going to dispute the charge and have further investigative work done on this company and insturcted me to send the free sample back and retain a tracking number. The company never did send me additional product for the $69.99 they charge me for but if it shows up, it will be returned with a tracking as well. Please ask your credit card company to investigate this company and don't accept their charges if they are trying to take advantage of you.

this is terrible! I ordered the online free trial. I realized that this was a mistake and tried to call and cancel a few minutes later. They would NOT let me do this...they said i had to have the product first before i could cancel...well, this means i pay for shipping both ways for something that i already know i don't want. They couldn't even list me the ingredients at the India call center. How come they don't show a full list of ingredients...that is very fishy to me. This company is a joke!

A sample tooth whitener was offered for $4.99. In addition to that charge on my credit card statement, I was also charged $78.93, for not cancelling the next shipment within 14 days. This is, in my way of thinking, nothing short of thievery.
