Got a phone call from ami regarding premature ejaculation. Wanted to know prices which was ok. Once the call was was transferred wasnt told the prices. I kept asking what the repayments was, but the person i was speaking to was being very rude. Telling me im selfish to my partner as i do suffer from premature ejaculation. He was being from insensitive as this is a very sensitive situation and as for having a mortgage makes it very hard. He then went on to say im wasting his time as i wanted the prices so i can understand my outgoings and affordability. Im very distressed and upset as i was made to feel i cant please my missus and she might take off with someone else. As the person told me if i dont sign up today that my partner will eventually leave me

I have recently signed up with AMI over the phone with their SYD office, it was just verbal, lucky for me. The guy wa pushy, ringing me up every day, asking to sign up. For my luck I don't have a credit card anymore, so I manged to convince him to take $200 upfront. It took nearly three wks to get the medication, and on the first day I took the tablets, I was drowsy, numbed, and couldn't sleep..had dry mouth. The following two days, the samething, my sleep was getting worse, I went the entire night without sleeping, had to take day off work. I felt like I was on high drug, and it took over a day to be normal. I still don't sleep well. I called my bank right away and cancelled the direct debit (put a block on it). I did some research on the medi, it was anti depressant for people with bipolar, it's even prescribed for dogs with behavioural disorder. I am trying to get my $250 back, and I am so GLAD that's all I paid. This Company is dodgy, with bunch of crooks, their doctors are even worse.

I will never deal with these ### again.

Because of my health, I am on an extreme amount of medication, which does not allow me to become Sexually inclined.
I first went to AMI re their ad for Nasal Delivery Technology "Get you performing at your peak! Go for it"
At the interview, they said that Nasal Spray could create allergies and my best approach would be Penile Injection (which I believe to be at a higher price).
Read their contract and there was mention if the program was not appropriate for me, then AMI will refund to me the total cost of the treatment incurred by me less 15% administration fee and less the cost of the medication supplied to me. The total cost would be $8, 000 less the $500 I paid. The remainder was to be deducted at the rate of $53.57 fortnightly for 140 payments. I asked the Staff before I signed the document, what the 15% entailed and they assured me that the 15% was based on the treatments received. (NOT ON THE WHOLE $8000 WHICH THEY ARE CLAIMING). They then came back with a counter offer that they would pay me about $150. My total cost for something that did not work was $767.85.
I received 2 treatments and found that nothing was working, so after consultation with my GPs, I notified AMI that I was quitting the Agreement. This was followed up with a letter from me as well as from my 2 GPs, as It was causing me too much anxiety, depression and blood pressure problems, in other words they were concerned with my health, as was I. I found myself an many embarrassing situations.
I am claiming $767.85. plus travelling costs to Gold Coast plus Cause of added extreme anxiety, stress, and now the total disinterest in sex, because of their product.

I purchased a treatment from Advanced Medical Institute (AMI) over the phone after a brief consultation with someone purporting to be a doctor. The customer service reps also fail to mention that I had agreed to a verbal contract stating that I will try all products they supply.

After I tried two different medicines I realised that the product did not help me at all and made me extremely sick; including vomiting.

I was immediately told that a refund was not possible as I had agreed to a verbal contract, even after I told them about my health issues from the product and other issues with my personal life that was due to AMI. The rep told me that there was no way I could have my money back and would not forward my concerns to a manager or the claims department

I listen to the radio all day at work and I hear this very demeaning ad regarding "mens erectile disfunction"
Goes something like this
Which do you think a woman would choose a guy who lasts a couple of minutes in bed or the man who will go the distance? Sorry guys, a woman will choose the allnighter every time, so if you think you have a problem call the advanced medical institute...Go on, She'll love you for it
Now I think that is so degrading to women, makes us sound so shallow,we are supposed to be in a world where you love someone for themselves not how they perform.
This company should think a bit more about how they word such ads, sure they want to help men and some men will take it up, but there is no need to make us women sound so blonde.
