While I was setting up my Mp4 player. This company said I needed a 3 year plan in payment of 49.90 for apple/ipod support. It has been confirmed that I was scammed out of my money.

This advance telecom inc company is either a bunch of crooks are manifestly associated with crooks. Yesterday i paid it some $78. 00 via paypal for what was supposed to be a 3 year subscription to a music online downloads service. I was supposed to receive certain software and unlimited downloads. I have not received even a reply. Let alone any any software or downloads. The email offering me this music downloads service purported to come from "musiconline@onlinexsource.com" and had the following contact address at its foot: -

Plaza neptuno, local #7
Via ricardo j alfaro, tumba muerto
Panama ciudad
Republica de panama

Beware !

It is now patently obvious both advance telecom inc and the panamanian ### are nothing but crooked, scamming, con - artists and thieves.

Don't go near either either of them.

Did not recieve confiramation and link to download. Have since learned that this site is fraudulent and there are numerous complaints about them. I would think that Paypal would have banned them or alerted buyers. I would like to cancel payment to them and expect this to be rectified.

thankyou

I purchased a 1 Year unlimited music download Membership for$60 ... on what I thought was a subsidory company of iTunes ... via PayPal with the SO CALLED BUSINESS - ADVANCE TELECOM INC whose contact Email was verified by the PayPal receipt that I received in my Email Inbox as sales@ulimited.com
I have received nothing for my money!

I was trying to download mozilla firefox and ot scammed into purchasing 3 - year special (Didn't realize mozilla was free) i paid through paypal and can't figure out how to stop transaction. After seeing all the complaints here, i, too am surprised that paypal deals with this company. They will get my complaint as well.

I purchased a 1 Year unlimited music download Membership for approx $60 AUS ... on what I thought was a subsidory company of iTunes ... via PayPal with the SO CALLED BUSINESS - ADVANCE TELECOM INC whose contact Email was verified by the PayPal receipt that I received in my Email Inbox as sales@ulimited.com

I heard NOTHING from this company at all via Email how to activate my membership and FOUND THIS COMPLAINT BOARD by entering ulimited on a Google Search toolbar and was so DISMAYED and SADDENED to "say the least" when I realised that I TOO HAD BE SCAMMED of my hard saved spending money.

I am a single mother of 4 children and doing it "EXTREMELY HARD" on the pension often going without many luxuries in life and this was a gift to my teenager son for Xmas.

I will try to report this business to PayPal and any SCAM REPORTING SITES that I may find on the net.
I suggest that "EVERYONE DOES THE SAME" so they can BLOCK these FRAUDSTERS.

$60 is the world to me and my children. I actually vomited in the kitchen sink just before I sent this email from the heartache this caused myself and my son.

I hope they are happy in their mansion surrounded by luxurious items KNOWING they are SCAMMING the DECENT, HONEST PEOPLE that entrusted their faith with a purchase.

All I can say is KARMA.

On the 9/1/2009 I ordered Flash Player 10 through PAYPAL.
I was unable to download the software, nor was I able to contact ADVANCE TELECOM INC.
The listed web site was unreachable, it came up as address does not exist.
I payed good money for nothing.
BUYER BEWARE the site is a scam.

Advance Telecom Inc is a major rip-off. I am very surprised that Pay Pal is accepting charges for them. Please forward complains to them and to the FCC.

The unlimited.com domain is NOT registered to Advance Telecom Inc. Its registered to a computer distributor in London, England, so there is little point in sending email to the sales@ address.

I was scammed, it said if I paid roughly £34 through paypal I would have 3 years unlimited itunes downloads. It makes me sound really stupid believing them but at the time I had never used itunes, didn't really know anything about it and had never downloaded music from any site beforehand.

Can you remember the name of the website to alert anyone else and post it on here perhaps?
I have submitted a complaint to PayPal and I believe we should submit one to iTunes ESPECIALLY! That should stop them.

I purchased spreadsheet software from Advance Telecom Inc Jan 9, 2009. The cost for a three year subscription which would be regularly updated. It cost $49.96 for the three years. The order information said that I would receive an email with downloading instructions and keys. It is now Jan 20, and I have received nothing.

Dear Sirs,
I just now (Friday, January 2, 2009, 6:00pm) bought your Browser product. I ask your forgiveness - I don't know where my head was, but I thought I was purchasing something else. You may very well have a very good product, but I do not want it
I would like to cancel this order and have my $49.95 returned. Please let me know if this is the proper format for canceling our agreement. If not I ask for instructions to properly make the cancelation.

Sincerely,
Dennis Neaves

Today I purchased an add-on to Google Earth that would mark my contacts for me and added the 3 year service, it sounded good to me. Went through PayPal and when I got my confirmation email from PayPal surprise, surprise, surprise the amount was twice as much as the service I had ordered and from this Advance Telecom Inc. a company that I have never heard from. I to posted a complaint with PayPal as soon as I realized what was going on. I will post one with Google as soon as I send this. Watch out for Advance Telecom Inc. Hope I can get my money back like some of you.

Advance Telcom Inc. Scammed yesterday. Purchased on an iPhone, which needs an account with an ITunes store. The iPhone comes with no documentation. So I google login and password for iTunes and come to a page for a setup - and three options: 1 year, 2 year and VIP 3 years - this takes you the payment page where I selected PayPal. I have initiated a dispute and will no doubt escalate it to the highest level possible at PayPal. I am not happy all the way around. Found out of course you can establish your login and password at the iTunes store once the iTunes software is downloaded. Have not received anything from Advanced Telcom Inc.

Well, you can add me to the list of people that were scammed by "Advance Telecom". I ordered ITunes through them and as soon as I paid them $29.88 for the 1 year plan (thru Paypal), I knew I had just made a huge mistake. All I wanted to do was install my existing ITunes account on this computer. Now, there is no way to get into their site without joining again. I Emailed them, but it seems like the EMail never went out. Imagine that! I called their Customer Service number, but they just put me on hold so I hung up right away out of fear that it would end up being one of those $200.00 phone charges that you always hear about. Their web address indicates that they're based in CHINA? Can someone confirm this? I'm still waiting to hear back from them, but a little voice in my head keeps telling me that's not going to happen anytime soon, if ever.

I'm right there with the rest of you. I had previously downloaded Google Earth for free but thought I'd sign up for their 3 year membership as they do a great job. Was a little surprised when it listed Advance Telecom as the payee but I was naive enough to accept this.
After a month had come and gone with no item, I went to the PayPal site and entered a dispute. Also mentioned to them that this group should be banned. I had the money returned to my PayPal account the next day. Maybe if we all go through PayPal, they'll be more aware of this problem.?
Hope you all get your money back.

I wish I would have looked here first. I was also ripped off for $49.96. I filed a dispute with PayPal and asked them why they are still allowing this vendor to collect money through them. I hope I get my money back.

I work for a company called Advanced Telecom Services and we are getting calls from consumers who have us confused with this scammer. I should point out that the offending company is Advance Telecom Inc. It is easy to see hoe someone could confuse companies but it doesn't make it any easier when someone is screaming obscenities at you over the phone.

I ordered Nero 2009 DVD Burner and payed for it via PayPal. I didn't receive that link. I did receive the download link for Nero 8 Trial, but they refused to send me the serial number because the DEMO had expired. When I tried to email them the emails were returned. The sales department send me the DVD bruner XP, which I could have downloaded over the internet for free legally.

I got scammed for $49.96 trying to buy avast antivirus software. The website that I visited turned out to be a scam because the real one offers a home version for free. I am contacting Avance telecom now to get my money back. I'll keep you informed.
