Advance Care Another lender caught overcharging

A client of ours also was overcharged way more than the legal APR limits allow by Florida law, patients and Dr's BEWARE!

Beware of www.APFservices.com which is now hiding behind there new so called identity www.advancecarecard.com, they have been breaking the law in overcharging patients which is called illegal!

Companies like this should be behind bars where they belong!

We will be pushing to get them out of the financial system where the other predators headed before them.

Overcharging APR is a crime!

so if I overcharge customers then put out a product from a major bank, its okay?!? The idea of telling someone, you can't get financing anywhere else, so pay high fess, is ridiculous. A good lender will tell you not to take the loan because its not financially sound. Just because you can slam someone with poor credit doesn't mean you should... APF' is and has been a LOAN BROKER. A loan processor doesn't quote rates, shop lenders and charge a BROKER FEE! APF/Advance Care Card has done this more than once. I stopped working with APF because of their inexperience with financing. It is a violation of the Truth-in-Lending (TIL and RegZ) laws to not calculate a broker fee into APR. If you're a practice, you should be aware because the banking regulations will be holding everybody accountable for predatory lending. If APF Services / AdvanceCareCard.com offered me a loan for $1000 at %18 for 4 years, but could only fund $850, that would mean I owe $1000 to the bank, but the doctor only gets $850 minus any fees charged by the Broker (oops, Loan Processor). The final APR calculation needs to include the interest rate and the 'prepaid finance' charge. If I live in a state with an APR Cap (almost ALL have them), then the broker 'CANNOT' wrap the prepaid finance charge into the loan and not change the APR! In the scenario above, APF takes their fee of $295 (usually $395, but I will give them a break) and adds it to the loan, the APR is 33.45% NOW! APF has tried many times to push that loan on my patients and luckily we have loan coordinators who know not to offer that crap! Its this type of lending practice which caused our banking industry to fail... FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS have an obligation to inform a borrower of the consequences of make poor financial decisions. APF has a disregard for APR caps and If you are pushing their product, you are violating the law as well!

We have been using APF Services for now two years. They are a Great Patient Financing company. www.apfservices.com is for people with sub prime credit, and that program charges patients some heavy fees but they can't get financied anywhere else. On that same not APF Services does NOT fund these loans so they are not breaking the law. They are a loan processor. They use private funds that only fund sub prime medical loans. On the other hand The Advance Care Card www.advancecarecard.com is a Great product for people with good to average credit. We were using care credit for people with good credit till APF Services came out with The Advance Care Card. The Advance Care Card is a medical Visa Card. This card is issuied by a major bank, so I don't think they are breaking the law either.
