I was sold seat reservations to go with my Brit Rail pass and paid $28 for two seats plus $15 for Fed Ex charges. On the train the conductor said that there were no seat reservations on that train. So I paid for a service that was not available. APC Rail pretty well said too bad and kept my money.
In our case, ACP offered immediate help when our rail passes didn't arrive, issuing new passes and mailing them on the spot. Once again, the mail service was bad, making us think the passes wouldn't arrive, but when they did, we could see that ACP had actually sent them on the very same day. Due to poor British Mail service, you should order in time, but apart from that, we could only say the best about ACP.
