Thinking I could help out my parents and make some commission of my own, I fell into this trap of ACN where a "friend" recruited me. I drive to Orange county thinking it was going to be a formal interview and all for the job. Turned out to be one big meeting with a notepad and a video with Donald Trump. Being a business student I thought this would be a great opportunity, especially with Trump being a bit of inspiration. After the movie they ask you a question if you are skeptical or not, pretty much. But the friend reassures you that everything is great that they are planning on getting a beamer in the next 3 months. They pushed and pushed me. Asked for a one time fee of 499 dollars. Everything was just a blur. On top of the 500 bux, the rep signed me up with 2 accounts, one supposedly for a demo the other being for my personal use. Making that completely expensive, they said it would be 25 bucks a month. No. Turns out I was charged 43 for both accounts. ON top of my two accounts, I signed up for my landline in which they said would be 25 dollars per month as well. I filled out a form, and knew that the landline was in honor of my stepfather. I told them I had to go to work, that I filled out most of it but got freaked out by the signature. I didn't sign it, I told them I'll be back tomorrow and left. While they are sitting there questioning me why i have to go to work in which this will only take another 5 minutes on top of 3 hours I had already spent there. On my drive back to LA it dawned on me that I need to cancel.

As soon as I got home I immediately called ACN and asked to delete my representative account. I was able to get my 499 back. With my "friend" calling me every day to make a meeting to sign and all that jazz. Thinking everything was over. IT wasn't And to this day still isn't. (It's been 3 months). At the end of that month, I was charged for both of my accounts 43 each and of the VOIP boxes total of 80 for the voip boxes. In which they said would be 10 dollars each. My stepfather also received a bill himself, and I thought how was that possible I never signed the application and never went back. My mother calls the company to cancel the landline account saying that none of us ever authorized it. But they said they had a "voice recording" of me when I was cancelling my account on the phone. They threatened to take me into court for forgery. We asked for them to fax the application and it was signed. I think out of all people I would know how to forge my own parents names (especially for those old high school absent notes) but this signature was not anything close to what his signature really looks like proved that someone forged his signature and processed it. I threatened the company back that I told them not to process the app and that I never signed, but since all the print was in my writing they said I had no proof and was still forgery.

The company called my cell phone saying that I must call them so that they could further with the lawsuit. I heard the message and thought F**K them I don't have to call back or listen to them. They never called me back after the message. (thank goodness)

Thinking that my mother successfully cancelled the landline, I receive the ACN bill that my stepfather handed to me for 93 dollars for a course of 3 months, yesterday. I'm not sure if he paid the first bill. Anyways, I just now paid for the bill, and I'm really skeptical in calling the company for cancelling the account after they threatened me for a lawsuit. But my parents insist that I take care of everything. It's just so horrible. But for revenge, I suppose not really must justice was received, ACN demanded for their VOIP boxes back from me and offered a refund. I just sold them on EBAY, i got half of what i paid but ACN won't get their products back from me. ACN will fool you and take you down with them. Please don't get involved.

Alright, I would like to say that to the Anonymous person telling me that I will never make it in life. Don't ever say that to a person. I am pretty sure that I am way younger than you. In fact I'm 21 years old and a branch manager at a consulting firm. Apparently, I never needed ACN. To those who are thinking of going on board of ACN, DON'T, you DO NOT NEED ACN. Besides, when have you ever heard about ACN's services, besides the times when some ### like Ken Powell pops out of the bushes 'selling/scamming' to you their services?

Ken Powell, you are just an ###, I'm glad to see that you are doing well with ACN but at the same time, you sound like you are really frustrated and butt-hurt about your company. All of the sales representatives who have opposed against this posting sounds recognizably incompetent. With your rudeness and taunts, don't treat people like that. People don't deserve to be treated poorly and, ultimately, they don't deserve to be ripped off.

Following up after 2 years from this posting, I would like to say I never heard back from ACN, for those of you who are curious. Thanks to those of you who listened, I wish you all the best.

Cheers!

Stop coming onto this site you dumb ### ACN reps and trying to defend this bs fraud of a company. YOU ARE IDIOTS. And why is it you even know about these complaint sites when you think ACN is such a great company. It is obvious that the people defending this crap company are probably hired to surf the endless complaint sites about ACN on the internet. OMFG PEOPLE have you ever encountered a company that has so many hate sites? ITS so F***ing obvious. OHH! and what company on earth has its own website that defends itself that it is not a pyramid. And just you wait ACN reps when years down the road when you actually start making money which will work out to pennies and hour for your work that the company will terminate your account for not for not staying within the ### guidelines that you can not advertise or sell outside your family and friends. The company will take all your accounts away and and you will be left in the dirt and way in the hole for the amount of time and money you wasted. Not to mention all the people who hate you now. Also, what company on this planet who thinks their so great does not want you to advertise their product to bring in more business. ANSWER THAT f***ing QUESTION ACN REPS.

Hey Everyone,

I am an ACN rep and have been for about 2 years now. Honestly these horror stories I am hearing are almost as unbelievable as the success stories fanatics will tell you. The people who introduced em to the company, are people who are willing to put the time in and they are doing well. I myself am using the bonus to pay for school, and even if I don't quite believe the miracle the more excitable reps try to portray, I have had very little experience to assume a scam or a crooked company. I admit that I had trouble getting my family's service hooked up, and I had to muscle through the customer service department, which is outsourced (in Canada) to Quebec. I got their service up and running within the week and we have had no problems since. Anyone trying to join ANY MLM hoping for instant success with little work, let me know which one works for you, because I would like to work less hours!

In my honest opinion, I have worse times with more professional companies, even working in retail, then I ever had with ACN. Large companies will have plenty of administrative issues. If it's not for you then find out what is, and stop flooding the net with hateful garbage. The internet could use much less ranting.

What a total joke this company is. I just love all the bs pro ACN comments in here. They are all probably from the same person higher up in the company who is making a crap load of money off of all the other suckers. I joined ACN a year ago and quit within the first 60 days. I switched all my services over including my sister and parents to begin with. They are the worst customer services and products I have ever encountered in my life.
1) Once my sister changed her telephone and internet the service the service man did shortcuts on the hook up and did it all wrong even after my sister told him how she wanted it done. She called acn to have them come back because he screwed it up. Guess what? They said it will cost her $150. for the technician to come back to change it. Also her video phone sucked. Absolutely poor audio and video reception. Ohh! and at the meeting they kept saying the quality was CRYSTAL clear. What a joke.
2) When I changed my internet and bought the video phone they made an appointment for a technician to come to my place. Guess what? he never showed up after I waited all day and they never called to tell me. I called them and guess what? they said I do not require a technician and would not send one out unless I PAID $150. Okay! so i set it up myself and GUESS WHAT? The the modem cable was 1 foot long. What a ****in joke. It cost me $30.00 to buy a cable that would fit properly in my apartment. Oh! and the video phone sucks and the internet modem is practically made out of paper. The lowest end of any cable modem you can buy. Ohh! and they said I would have medium high speed internet. GUESS WHAT? it was the lowest internet speed you can buy. They LIED TO ME.
3) My father changed his phone over and internet. He had so many problems with connection the first month. We called the customer service over and over and over. After numerous phone calls we finally had it fixed but the connection problems continued after anyways. Ohh! and everytime we called their customer service it would have a message saying "DUE TO HIGH CALL VOLUME YOU WAIT WILL BE MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. PLEASE CALL BACK AFTER 4PM" This happened every single time I called.
4) I have many more complaints but I think you got the message by now.

Our entire family decided to cancel all the services paying out all the cancellation fees which cost us a total of about $1000.00 including the cost of that stupid video phone which is totally non-refundable and cannot be used by anyone else except the individual buyer of the phone. They make it so you cannot resell it to another user.

DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY OF THE PRO acn COMMENTS IN HERE. THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY HIRED BY ACN TO COUNTER THE COMMENTS ABOUT ACN. THEY ARE A PRETTY MUCH A LEGIT SCAM RIDING A FINE LINE OF BEING CLOSED DOWN.

SO IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN GOOD STANDING AND NOT BE LOOKED DOWN UPON BY THEM ONCE THEY REALIZE THIS IS THE CRAPPIEST PRODUCT OUT THERE THEN STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM ACN.

I TRULY HOPE THERE A GOD BECAUSE THE OWNERS OF THIS COMPANY ARE GOING TO PAY IN THE END.

Ask the questions first. Am i responsible for the unpaid balances of the accounts of the people I sign up? Call ACN headquarters first, call the public service commmision first, call directtv first, call Alltel first. AND, can I really "save" money. Is this an opportunity to plain and simple buy smart, if so, how much time is involved in changing over accounts and setting up new accounts. A 90 year old mother, can she do it? Nothing excites her more than saving money.

So I am approached by a colleague of mine at work regarding an exciting new business opportunity. As I was unable to attend the pitch held in said colleague's house, I agreed to attend a training seminar at a local hotel conference room. 2 mins into this and I knew what BS it was. After about 2 hours of rah-rah-let's -all-get-rich banter, I decided to have a little fun...here's what happened:
ACN Grande Duchess VP muckity-muck (formerly some pro soccer player chick)-"So, are you ready to live your dream ? "
Me (nodding head enthusiastically)-" oh YES ! But I have a few questions as a would-be independent business owner."
ACN Babe( she WAS pretty)- "sure ! shoot..."
Me- " So you are THE number ONE telecommunications direct market company ? "
ACN babe-" oh yes, nobody else even comes CLOSE !"
Me- " wow ! Impressive... So then, who would be your competition ? Like, 2-5 ?"
ACN babe- (blank stare) ..."uhm..."
Me- " you are number 1 and you cannot say who number 2 is ?"
ACN babe- we have excellent market research, thing is, you don't HAVE to worry about that ! ACN does it all for you !
Me- oh Lindsey (that was her name) I DO need to worry about that if I am to be an "independent business owner" and not some "employee drone"
ACN Babe- ( stares blankly)
ME- so, what percentage of ACN reps ever recoup their initial $500 investment ? Over what period of time ?
ACN babe ( nice legs on this one, btw)- 100% of those that work the system !
Me- Lindsey, now that's not what I asked you ! what percent of all ACN reps ever recoup their initial investment ? How much time did it take on average ?
ACN babe (nice rack as well, now that I recall)- (stares blankly)
Me- what is the median yearly income of an ACN rep at each level ?
ACN babe-(stares blankly, steam beginning to exit ears) you know, perhaps ACN isn't for you...
ME- not for me ? But, what about my "WHY?"...my dream !
ACN babe- truthfully, we only want POSITIVE people in ACN...
ME- oh Lindsey, I'm positive allright... In fact, I have downright metaphysical certitude that this company is full of ### ! But you are right about one thing, ACN isn't for me.

I did not attend any meetings but I have been hounded to make a meeting happen in my community. My problem is this when I explained the boardroom selection available in my community, the rep rather hold the meeting at a house in our small town community of well to do's. Now since when do I have a perfect male stranger(s) from the city, under the age of 25, and his pals no doubt, with no crime check evident, into any home of a friend much less my own. My skeptic says he wants to case homes for future bonus material. Crime prevention people, crime prevention. If a company wants to hold a meeting let them rent the boardroom, if it isn't a boardroom, and they want your house skip the date entirely ! Thank goodness I have a head on my shoulders !

What Company does not have glitches or sometimes make errors.. at the end of the day it's not the company it's the END USER! meaning "PEOPLE" there is no human in this world that is perfect if so, please tell me what Kool aid they've been drinking because I want to be perfect too. Reading these reviews is common as it would be for any other business out there. Perfect example: We buy sports tickets to see our favorite team win the game coorect! However, are we most certain that our team is going to win that day.. So not every game does our team get it right at winning.. Same thing for ACN they are a LEGIT AND GREAT Company to be part of but they aren't the perfect company as neither is sports teams, or Cisco systems and oracle, and all those great busines names out there. Yet people will still buy their products, work for them, and still shop at these places such as retail stores. Bottomline is SO it didn't WORK for YOU but don't bring the rest of the world down so that they can be in agony let America decide for themselves whether this be the right business for them.. Because I work side by side with individuals who only been in this busines for 2 to 3 years and are making 6 figures a month and ACN has been open for business since 1993 so you tell me is it really a PYRAMID OR NOT.. I think not! it's just a different way of doing business. than again HOLD ON! everyone in corporate AMERICA is in a PYRAMID BUSINESS.. Example you have the CEO, CFO, VP OF OPS. VP HR, Directors, Managers Supervisors and than the rest of YOU people as CORP America would put it! So why are you in a Pyramid business? ACN tells me I can make as much money as I.. I..I.. I. I. Want too.. What company in Corp. America tells you, that you can make as much money as you want too? IF there is one by all means please let me know and e-mail me at acnrepsj@yahoo.com.. Because I may consider working for them as well! not trying to aruge with anyone here but we live in a society with too many NEGATIVE messages. If there is a problem be a SOLUTION not a much worse problem.. Thanks

The fact that I went to a sales pitch meeting and they kept mentioning 8% and I could make hundreds of dollars with 40 people in your chain of salesmans, didnt make sense. 8% of what, the money I pay for my monthly services, so like a kickback for maintaining service, so I make upwards of 16 dollars a month on the services I have, but then far less on any subsequent people, With the upfront cost associated, you wouldnt make your money back for years. Then I was informed that ATT just backed out of allowing ACN to sign up anymore customers, what happens when Sprint and other companies follow suit is what I asked, the reply I got was that "Its really about the new technology, The phone". I asked why would people want to buy a home base model that requires an internet connection when my EVO can do the same thing right now and be mobile, and if it has to be tied to the internet at home, why not just use a free service with a web cam, to accomplish the same thing..He could not answer, He politely replied that I would be missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime...thanks but no thanks, you havent reinvented the wheel with this phone, merely devised a cleaver plan to rip off the unknowing is what I see.

ACN has cost me nearly $2, 000. The person who had signed me up originally turned into a "jerk" to say the least, threatening, condescending phone calls, telling me what I could & could not put on Facebook etc. I signed up & then I bought a video phone. The video phone took 2 months to arrive. I wasn't home at the time so UPS put it in my backyard. I found it a month later. UPS said to deal with ACN. ACN said to deal with UPS. Now 2 years later I have completed my contract. ACN was paid every month for a service that I didn't use. I am now out nearly $2, 000. and would not recommend ACN to my worst enemy. My contract is over, however I ended up paying a few months extra. They have agreed to credit me $36.

What a company ACN. Changed my life in less than two year, they are not perfect, tell me friends who is?
If you don`t go to work do you think your boss will give you a pay check? YOU WISH! All the negative reps who failed in ACN, probably never under stand the business.

Haha, think about it people. Watch the people, and listen to their stories. Why would Jeremy Roenick, a former NHL player who made over 100 million join ACN. Roenick is almost at a RD level making multi-thousands of dollars. I joined months back and haven't received one problem yet. If i ever do have a question, i just ask my leaders who are on top of me. I've already made my 500 dollars back from the bonuses handed out every month. You just need to make sure you join with the right types of people. And really? You think Donald Trump would jeopardize the "Trump" name. If this was a scam and Donald Trump was endorsing it, don't you think this would be all over the news? Think about it!

Last spring I was asked by a professional person who owned their own sucsessful business if I was interestred in making money. Of course I said "yes, who does not want to make money". I asked what type of business it was and she sidestepped the question and said it was an "exciting new technology" and you have to come and listen to this presentation. Well I was frustrated where I was in life so I deceided to take an hour of my time and at least see what she had to say. When I arrived at her house there was about 10 people there, none of whom I knew. She introduced two gentlemen who were all of about 25 years old. They went into this presentation about ACN. In the first two minutes I said to myself this is just like an Amway MLM scheme. They raved about their video phone which of course was not connected so you couldn't see it working. After about 45 minutes of pure BS they handed out applications to become an Independent Rep (IR) and it was a $499.00 fee. I politely told my sponsor that I remember a presentation like this about 30 years ago by another friend who was trying to get me involved in Amway. I told her I was very skeptical and I wanted to think about it before I made a decision. Well fast forward to last Saturday 11/20/2010. You guessed it she got me to attend a "training session". I traveled 50 miles one way to this pep rally which was in NO WAY a training session. It was all canned speaches with some VERY smooth talkers who said they were making a lot of money but never told you how much they were making. As these speakers were spewing their BS i was looking around the room and all these "Reps" were nodding their heads "yes" like a room full of bobblhead dolls. What I joke I thought. Of course they played the same video of The Donald endorsing ACN that I saw last spring. Can you say "PYRAMID"? They handed out lapel pins for those who I guess were "promoted" or something. But as they were each introducing themselvs they all said they were with ACN for a "short" time but never said HOW short. This BS pep rally went on for 2 1/2 HOURS...I was ready to throw up by then listening to smoke and mirrors. Well they NEVER train you on ANY product or services they provide...all you are there for is to "sign-up" and give your credit card number. All they care about is signing up "Reps" nothing else. After the meeting I mentioned to my sponsor I may be interesed and I will talk to some friends about the company. I thought she was going to drop. She told me NOT to mention ANYTHING about the company. They want people to come to their private business meetings and hope they "HOOK" as many idiots as they can for $499.00. So I did some research on ACN...They are a ligit company and although it is a pyramid scheme, it is legal because they do sell products and services but it's the way they try to sell. They want you to sucker in family and friends so they can do the same. Well, after hours of research I deceided not to get involved with ACN. *******before you become the next sucker do your homework********

not all companies are the same. I tried ACN...worked hard, and had SOME success. Several of my family and friends who tried the service were "ok" with it...others not so much. The concept of residual income was enticing, and I could see that VoiP was going to be huge in the near future, so I gave it all that I had, but the fact that you needed 40pts to get paid residual, you needed two legs with 200 customer points and 40 personal points to get paid beyond your 7th line..all obsticles which I now believe are by design because all of the money that the reps miss out on are retained by the company. They call it forfiet..I called it unfair.
I am not ashamed to tell you that ACN opened my eyes to what could be possible, if not for the greed and deciept. I have since found an amazing company that launched into Canada in July or so of 2010. "T.F" was responsible for launching it here..he and a lot of others who I assume came from ACN. In less than 60 days I have made more money than in 21 months with ACN.
Thanks "T.F"..and Thanks ACN for the education...
I will not say the name of the other company here, but there is a blog for ON CA. going by memory, i think its www.platinumspecialists.wordpress.com

I've been approached by ANC people trying to sign me up, I went to one meeting and I don't like what I'm seeing, also they keep phoning me over and over to go to more of these meetings and this is what makes me think ANC is a scam! My gut feeling is that this is a pyramid scam, and all they wan't is my $500.00 and access to my friends, plus I think there other main focus is to make you sign a bunch of legal contracts to bind you in to paying way more money then there service is worth! Then your stuck! I've seen the Video Phone and it looks like crap! plus it had bad reception. So there is no customer service and bad equipment. I don't think Donald Trump signed up! Any way I think there equipment and service is expensive and obsolite already! Just my opinion. I'm out!

ACN is a piece of crap. The phone seldom works and when it does the sound is terrible. I was told my fax machine would work on the system and surprise!...it didn’t. I have never dealt with such an irresponsible company before. Truth be told, I did this as a favor to my brother and I got burned.
Multi level marketing plans all suck and the people that come at you asking you to join suck as well, including my stupid brother because he believes he is going to get rich by selling crappy phone service and other services as well. The only ones that get rich are the people that started this terrible business.
Whatever happened to providing customers with a solid product that works? Wake up America, hard work, value added products, and customer service is what business is all about!

WHAT TO EXPECT IN ACN:
I became an ACN rep in Sept 2009, paying $499.

Sept 2009
I was out of contract with my cell phone, and ordered a new one.
I received it in 2 days and it was brand new. No problems (2 pts).
I changed from Cox bundled phone, cable and Internet ($199/mo+tax)
Local, Long Distance, DSL and Dish Network. ($159/mo+tax) Saved me $40/mo (5 pts)

Oct 2009
I asked my sister TAMMY if she was interested in the opportunity (No, but she unbundled her phone/cable/internet to give me 5 pts and save her $40/mo).
I asked a co-worker JAMES if he was interested, (No, but unbundled to give me 5 pts and save $40)
I asked a neighbor TERRY if he was interested, (No, but got a cell phone and Dish Network 4 pts)
I asked an unemployed neighbor in danger of losing her house, TASHA is she was interested, SHE SAID YES and became one of my business partners.
TASHA unbundled her services saving her $40/mo and gaining 5 pts.
TASHA talked to her DAD, who got a cell phone (2pts).
I asked another co-worker, if he was interested, he said no, and was not interested in the business.

Nov 2009
I asked another co-worker if she was interested, (She wasn't, but asked if I could come over and show her husband how to unbundle), I did and he JASON became my second business partner. JASON unbundled his services and got a new cell phone (7 pts)
TASHA got her mother, FRANCES as a business partner.
FRANCES unbundled services and saved $40/mo (5 pts)
JASON got a friend TOM as a business partner who got Sat TV, the website and a video phone (6 pts).
I asked a friend if they were interested in the business, they said no, but got Direct TV (2 pts).
At Thanksgiving I talked to three family members, who were not interested, but got a new cell phone, 2 Dish networks, and 1 DSL. (8 pts)
I received a check from ACN for $100, and a residual check for $11.07

Dec 2009
I asked a unemployed friend if they were interested in the business, he MARK was but didn't have the $500, so I asked him to help me recruit until he had the $.
TASHA got a friend to unbundle (5 pts)
TASHA found a co-worker JANICE as a business partner.
JANICE got a cell phone, Dish Network, and Landline. (5 pts)
JANICE's sister TRUDY unbundled her services (5 pts)
FRANCES got a friend ROBIN as a business partner.
ROBIN got DISH network, a Landline, and DSL. (5 pts)
JASON got a friend GLORIA as a business partner.
GLORIA got a cell phone and DIRECT TV, Her mother got a cell phone (6 pts)
TOM got a new customer with DISH Network. (2 pts)
GLORIA got a new business partner JOY.
JOY got DSL, Landline and a cell phone.
MARK found me 3 customers, all who got cell phones (6 pts)
I talked to my boss at work FRANK who became my third business partner.
FRANK unbundled his services and got the website (6 pts)
ROBIN found a new business partner ANN.
ANN unbundled her services. (5 pts)
TRUDY's customer JANICE's sister became a business partner.
JANICE found a business partner ROB.
ROB unbundled his services and got the website (6 pts)
MARK found me a business partner, SAM, but I showed MARK that SAM should be under MARK. MARK borrowed the $500 from his brother.
SAM unbundled his services and got a video phone. (5 pts)
SAM found two business partners ERIC and BOB. Both got videophones, the website and Sat TV.
I got a check for $900, and residual of $29. (ETL)
TASHA got a check for $200, and residual of $13.16
JASON got a check for $100 and residual of $12.87
TOM got a check for $100 and residual of $11.69
MARK got a check for $200.
SAM got a check for $300, and a residual of $10.41

In Jan 2010, TAMMY, TERRY and JAMES entered the business when I showed them my checks. They were put under partners already in the business, providing them with a reward for promoting the business.

My checks
January $2500 plus $38 residual
February $3000 plus $260
March $4000 plus $450
April $4000 plus $700
May $7000 (maxed) plus $975
June $3000 plus $1200
July $7000 (maxed) plus $1400
Aug $7000 (maxed) already have 6 people too many and need to get promoted.

Now I'm going to tell you something other people won't tell you,
JASON stopped promoting the business in January.
JASON in Jan got a check for $1000, because TOM blew up and got 6 new people
JASON in Feb got a check for $500, because TOM got 4 more partners.
JASON in March got a check for $32. TOM passed him and get JASON's bonuses.
JASON is now complaining because isn't getting the bonuses from TOM.
JASON is still getting checks that are increasing, in July, they were $80.
If JASON had kept going and got ONE MORE PERSON, and so on, I would probably be a TC now. He has cost me at least $10, 000.

Yet, he doesn't want to do the business anymore.
Where's the disconnect?

By the way, in July, I had a meeting with my boss FRANK, and told him about my eye problem. I just couldn't see myself working there anymore. FRANK understood, as he got a check for $2000 that month.

Also, TASHA saved her house, and got a new car. MARK paid off his brother with his 2nd check, and guess what...his brother is now one of his business partners.
This is REAL folks. ACN has an A+ rating with the BBB. Will there be complaints, yes. There are in ANY business.
Finally, I have to share with you that there are some extremely smart and influential people getting involved in the business. Recently, one of my partners got the President of the local Realtor Association. She has over 15 brokers under her already. There are professional athletes in ACN. There are CEOs in ACN.

You can continue to exchange time for money, but THERE IS A DIFFERENT WAY.

You can join anyone's business, but I am very responsible for my partners. To at least make their money back within 30-60 days. Don't get me wrong, I do have people who fail. But it's usually because they don't listen or expect me to do all the work for them. Lastly, and this blows peoples minds: I don't have home meetings, in fact I rarely talk about the opportunity EXCEPT to take people with me to a training where am RVP presents the opportunity, and I teach my partners to do the same. That RVP is on the DVD video, with his family. I work about 25 hours per week at this business, mostly talking to my partners. I still have family members who are not in ACN. I still have friends who are not in ACN. I know lots of people who are not in ACN. I don't care that they don't see the opportunity, it's a free country.

Thanks for reading, don't email me. If after reading this, contact your local ACN partner. See you in Charlotte!
Sincerely,
Mike

I feel your pain! My "friend" charged the $499 with out my authorization! I was told they would put the charge thru on July 2nd, but they put it thru on June 24th. So my 10 days to cancel was up before I knew it! I had my home party on July 8th and called my "friend" on the 9th to tell them I was not going to pursue this any further. Had they put the charge thru on July 2nd like they told me they were going to I could have gotten my money back. Any recommendations on how I can get back my $499?

Anyone on this site who is pro ACN is being paid by ACN to write positive comments because they know how bad ACN's reputation is. When you type in ACN S, in google the first thing that comes up is ACN SCAM...I wonder why that is. ACN brain washes people who have lower self-esteem or who are looking for fast pay outs and "easy money". Nothing in life is worth it if it is easy! Get real jobs and stop harassing your friends and family people. Think about it, why would a company ask YOU to pay 500$ to work for them? REAL jobs are the opposite! When you say all you have to do it work hard if it is not working for you, I say BS. I thought the money was suppose to roll in effortlessly according to the video. It doesn’t work because it doesn’t work. Just because someone at some crappy conference tells you they make 5G a month and how easy it it...doesn’t make it true, stop being so naive people. If it were that easy would all the reps make so much...No it’s because only those at the top of the PYRAMID benefit...or should i say the "layered marketing"...LOL...nice try ACN, please people stop falling for this crap! OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE!

Im Rep Of ACN, I started two weeks ago, I live in Canada, I have read all the stories and blogs, what do i think? well, first off, I would like to apologize for the people who have stole your money and have lied to you. The ACN has zero tolerence for slamming, if you encounter a situation with ACN and have had a bad expierence with your service or team, take down their ID number and bring them down with you. This will end the garbage reps in ACN. This company is actually filled with all kinds of people...good and bad people, Anyone that tries to get you to sign up right after the presentation, is an a dirty representative, I have waited and did my research for 5 weeks before joining. This is not a pyramid and I repeat, its not a pyramid. I would suggest the rest of the people to always research before joining. ACN has a bad reputation thanks to stupid people who can't explain the business properly or just force you into joining.

Im a QTT, I have provided service to my family and it has worked great. I have helped each family member $20 dollars or more from each service bill. If the cost of the service from ACN is more, I ask them not to purchase the service but 85% of the time, the services are cheaper with the same top of the line product. I Love ACN.

If you guys know anyone being scammed or being forced into acn, being harrased by phone calls, or has been completely mislead, ask the ACN rep for the ID number and report them. This will eliminate the bad reps from the good reps, because I myself dont need to call someone more than 2 times to ask if they need service, I have 5 people about to join under me. I have explained the $499 +tax fee and, for those who paid $25 dollars for the website, got screwed, you dont need to purchase that until you have atlease 2 levels you got suckered into it. Do not purchase the website until you have enough reps on your team. I feel sorry for the ones who have been screwed over by an ACN rep, but if you were under my team you would get the team support and training in order to succeed.

I Joined ACN to help my mom, 24 years ago my family arrived in Canada from Washington. My parents only could work full-time jobs at the time making 5-6 dollars an hour. my mom would do graveyard shifts in order to spend time with my sister and I during the day while my father worked. My mother helped my father get an education by taking care of us and serving my dad while he concentrated on his college, 3 years later my father became a licensed mechanic, but he was a sick individual under disguise, he cheated on my mom and harrased my cousin in aunt for 16 years, I am now 25 years old and recently my dad went to jail for sexual harrasment and other criminal charges, my mom wasted 25 years of her life with a garbage man, and she has no career or full education. I joined ACN to help her, I would never scam or slam anyone into this company because Im not only here to help my mom, I joined acn to help other as well, by giving them cheaper bills or changing their lives in a positive way. Im here to help peoples lives, not to screw them over, because if it were just for the money...I would get discouraged by reading all the negatives comments on how they got screwed with money.

Im one of many honest people who is a rep from ACN canada and will not screw anyone over to get a quick buck because thats what my low life father would do.

People have a choice. Success is a choice. You can either complain and make excuses, or make money. Most people that join MLM want to make extra money on the side. Some want to join to make a residual income. Every company in the World has problems here in there, from billing to customer service. Not every business is perfect. Especially when they have millions of customers. Do you think that every i-phone is perfect? How about your new car... appliance... television...

You see, most people that post on here are either bored and have nothing better to do OR they have failed at their business and want to blame it on someone else. I will almost never be back on this site to see any responses from my post. MLM's are a numbers game. There is absolutely no luck invovled. If you never quit, you will be successfull! You notice I'm not durecting my attention to ACN. I'm directing my attention to ALL MLM's that are presented in todays society. You can make good maney in any of them if you believe in yourself.

Look at ENRON... Employees had a 401k of $300, 000 and in the end they had $100 to show for all their hard work.

Nothing is a for sure thing in this world. It's the choice you make and faith in the company that keeps you moving forward.

This is good advice for people starting a MLM business: NEVER NEVER NEVER approach the cold market in this business and never ask your friends and family to join. Only present them information when asked. Give them the information and let them decide for themselves. Give them a CHOICE. I always hear people that made absolutely no income in MLM, complaining about this business. That is because they made the CHOICE to be lazy. They made the CHOICE to stay home. They made the CHOICE to work for someone else's dream.

The people making money in MLM made the CHOICE to work it like it was their own. And IMO it is their own business...

Hi,
I recently joined as acn representative this Feb.12, 2009, I got two reps within 30 days and the company sent me two cheques worth 500.00 dollars as part of February promotion. I have no problem with Acn, I been using their services for a year before joining a representative. The services is really good and I save more money, the video phone is amazing, it helps me a lot because everytime I call my parents abroad, I can see them not only hearing thier voices.I'm so excited my incoming bonus for my 60 days promotion. If you work hard and be with the right people you will get success. I believe the ACN gives us a very good opportunity.

If you don't have time to read my post DO NOT ASSOCIATE YOURSELF WITH ACN IN ANYWAY OR FORM! But for those of you who wants to know how I was tricked, here goes.

Four years ago I started my new career as an electrician. My new coworker, at the time, mentioned that he had a telephone business on the side and that I seem smart and would be very capable of doing "business" with him. He seemed very friendly and persisted that I checked out his business ACN. I felt pressure into checking it out since I wanted to make a new friend. I saw that same video of donald trump that everyone else saw. I decided to sign up and gave it a try. Why not right? I paid the one time fee of $500 and did everything ACN wanted me to do. Find 5 customers and recruit 2 reps in 30 days. One month later, I was awarded my first bonus of $500 in a hotel conference room of about 200 people. Needless to say, I was stoked. They gave me one of those big checks. Fast forward another month. My actual check came in the mail and was only $100! They were only putting on a show in hopes of recruiting more people at the confernce room! Then the real problems started. One of my closest friend who signed up for the service complained that there were telemarketers constantly calling her all day and night and she was fed up. She cancelled the service and ACN billed her 3 more months before turning off her line. Then my mom decided to cancel because she didn't use it much. They billed her for a whole YEAR before they turned off her line. Customer service SUCKS. I felt so bad that I ended up paying both my mom and my friend's bill. Looking back in retrospect, I remember my "friendly" coworker always walking up to strangers and trying to recruit them. It made me sick to watch him do his sales pitch. I felt guilty as I did not intervene. On top of that, my "boss" called me everyday to make sure I was recruiting people. That seemed more important than signing up actual customers. I'm sure my friends and family did not want to talk to me at that point because I turned into a greedy, selfish green eye monster ###. I was becoming like my "friendly coworker". At the end of the year, you get a choice to renew your membership as an ACN rep for $200. No thanks. So in summary, I spent about $1000 and only got back $100. So like the listing above said, if you want to lose your friends and lots of money, waste your time and is morally challenged, go ahead and sign right on up with ACN. I'm lucky that my friends and family forgave me. I wonder if my former friendly coworker is still out there recruiting...uhg. (shivers)

Those of you that posted negative comments about the ACN opportunity obviously have always been a failure at whatever you have done in life. The fact is, the opportunity is NOT a 'get rich quick scheme' ! You have to work at the business, and work hard ! Also, The ACN OPPORTUNITY is not a 'PYRAMID SCHEME'. You obviously have not done your homework, this doesn't surprise me, hence this is why YOU are a dream stealer ! You wanted money handed to you or you are a competitor in the network marketing business. I'm willing to bet that you are all competitor's judging by your negative comments!
The ACN Business Opportunity is a very simple concept. My TEAM IS VERY, VERY successful because I trained them properly and I did not present this wonderful opportunity to "LIFELONG DUD'S " !
"LAZY PEOPLE, WILL ALWAYS BE LAZY, THEIR ENTIRE LIVES" !

Sincerely, R. SEAN DACEY

I've had people try to recruit me and all I hear is recruit recruit recruit...not much about selling the product itself...I think it's a total scam and it doesn't take much to figure this out...my advice would be to stay away...stay FAR away...save your 500 bucks spend it on a box of cigars or something that has real merit instead of making some fat cats wallet fatter and you a little broker with no family or friends.

DON'T SIGN UP WITH ACN IT IS A SCAM! I signed up with acn. I had 2 of their reps come to my house and "help" me through the system so I was able to get signed up for quickly.

I said I needed a fax line and if the digital phone couldn't accommodate a fax line I didn't want it. The rep Harmeet Singh said yes you can use a fax I check it has a distinct ring.

They fast tracked my through the sign up, had I been given the opportunity to read through the pages I would have learned you can't use a fax machine with the video phone. So now the company refuses to refund me my money and want to charge me an addition $200 for cancelling. They say if I signed up myself this screen should have come up, well if the reps had given me an opportunity to read the screens in stead of fast tracking my through and telling me certain screens didn't apply to me when they obviously apply to me as they apparently stated it couldn't accommodate a fax line!

Mark the "ETT" guy with Harmeet said I also needed to sign up for the regular phone line as my phone would be disconnected and I would be without a phone for a month.

This was TOTALLY UNTRUE! They signed my up for added services I didn't need so they could get themselves promoted within the company.

Since November 2009 I've been trying to get ACN customer service to cancel my lines and refund my money and stop taking money off of my VISA. They keep saying they will and they don't. It is now almost March! I've asked who I can contact and put this in writing and they say there's no one I can contact by writing.

This whole company is an unethical scam. IF ANYONE IS EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH THE REPS AND THIS COMPANY, PLEASE CONTACT ME AS I THINK WE SHOULD CONSIDER A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT. You can reach me through email: rcraggy@yahoo.ca

I was contacted by a fairly new ACN rep who suggested that I might consider getting in with the company as a rep, it's fairly easy money and can be done from home. Since they are customers as well as reps, we could be saving $$$ on our phone, internet services, too. We have not heard from this friend in years and she would not tell us exactly where she had moved to. Or give us her new phone number, she said we could keep in touch via Facebook and the ACN website she and her husband has. Very neutral at this point, but cautious too. Try putting some of the older names johndoe.acnrep.com into your address bar and see if they are still with the company and how they feel about it after a year or more. I couldn't find any of their domains and that suggests A LOT.

Jeff,
tell her you lost your job, money, house, girlfriend, family, dog and perroquet doing business with Landmark Education. It seems to me they are together in lowlife business. The people who don't stop harassing me represent Landmark and ACN... OMG, that's tough man. Unfortunately they are my friends and my roommates .. so, you can imagine how tough it is. I did as you said, I had educated myself before say thanks but no thanks... but they didn't take well! Some nerve! Well, I'll move out asap.

I can't believe some of these dopey reps come on here after clearly most of the people posting know what ACN really is, and still try to recruit people. I was in an accident a couple months back because some dope w/out a license made an improper left turn. An ACN rep saw the whole thing & remained @ the scene for about 3 hours, talked to the cops & basically took her time to offer her assistance. Hardly necessary but seemed nice @ the time. While we talked & waited for the cops to do their thing she asked where I worked & some other things & mentioned how she worked for a telecommunications company that basically pays you to pay your phone bill. I had never heard about ACN before but I told her it's not something I'd be interested in. That should've been the end of it right there! It wasn't. She's relentless. After about the 2nd hour after the accident I started to wonder what exactly was going on. People aren't that nice. I'm currently flipping a house & was on my way to pick up drywall @ the time of the accident. She was driving a brand new extended Toyota Tundra & offered to let me use it. She doesn't even know me! I haven't checked the value of that truck but it's gotta be around $40, 000. She also claimed to flip houses. After that I knew something was wrong. She followed me to my moms house, where I came from in the first place, "to make sure I got back OK". She wanted to meet my mom. Somewhere during the course of that conversation she mentioned again that I could use her truck. So that 2nd time mentioning the use of the truck scared the crap out've me because I knew that wasn't going to be the end of whatever she's trying to do, whatever the reason was that she stopped and appeared to want to "help" in the first place. She told my mom she's flipped 6 or 7 houses. It's not that high of a number & I'd think you'd know whether it is 6 or 7. Beyond that if you've flipped that many houses I don't see why a person would feel any need to bother with this ACN scam, however it qualifies one for many tax exemptions since it appears to be a "business".

So anyway she called me up one day to "invite" me to an "event". I really didn't want to go because my time should be much better spent working on the house that will really make me money. But due to the fact that she was successful in instilling a feeling of obligation to repay her for her time, I agreed to go. I saw the exact same presentation described by others on this site. I had asked her where it was, I wanted to drive myself but she really wanted me to ride w/her. She was going to take me out for coffee afterwards to show her appreciation. Appreciation? For what exactly? She said it wasn't a sales pitch, "it's a way to help me and my family to save money". Then should I not be taking her for coffee to show my appreciation? She just wanted me to be trapped there. I knew that b4 I went, but what's the worst that could happen? I end up wasting 3 hours of my time. So that's what I did. She's still calling me up using her "knowledge of flipping houses, real estate connections & use of her vehicle to disguise what she's really after. Saving the real stuff 'til the end of the message/conversation. Trying to suck me in. She continues to mention saving my parents money. I told her my dad can't do anything but lay in a bed & watch TV. ACN doesn't provide TV service "yet". He doesn't talk on the phone. I've also told her my mom would never be interested. She doesn't need to save money on her phone. My mom is the reason I'm able to do what I'm doing. She's the reason I have transportation & funds & whatever else I need to accomplish it, and the reason I don't need to borrow a complete strangers brand new truck! My mom has the wealth she has because she did real work, providing real service to people. She's never taken advantage of anyone. She was smart with her money & it paid off. My uncle is the opposite & he does take advantage of people whenever he can. Works for him. He's become fairly wealthy as well & resents my mom because he couldn't "beat" her, financially, like he set out to do when he was younger. So the point of that is that you don't need to be ruthless to be financially secure, but either way can work. I suppose it may depend on what kind of person you are. This broad that keeps harassing me reminds me of Jimmy Swaggart. I wish she would just stay away from me & stop trying to con me out of my money, that I actually work for!

I'd also like to state that the ACN video phone is not the way of the future. It is not an ACN product. They bought them from a company called WorldGate Communications for $50 million. They just branded them with their own logo. If anyone asks you to go to one of these dumb presentations, you can save yourself 3 hours of your time by reading the Wikipedia article & ignoring the negative parts. That's exactly what the presentation I saw was. Donald Trump ENDORSES the product, he has not INVESTED in it. Donald Trump did not get where he is by being honest, compassionate, or stupid. He was paid to ENDORSE that piece of useless, worthless junk. He is an investor in real estate, because he knows there is money in it. The technology that permits a video phone to function (the internet) was made possible by hardware (computers) that makes a much better video phone than WorldGate Communications, ACN branded, single purpose video phone. PCs have much bigger, higher res monitors, bigger & better speakers & a PC already exists in anyones home w/an internet connection. All you need is a mic & a web cam. A PC can do anything, what are the capabilities of a videophone? It only does one thing and the equipment you already own does that one thing much much better. Also consider that TVs now come w/intenet connectivity, MS & Sony have their own networks w/Xbox Live & PSN. Microsofts Project NATAL technology will enable people to interact w/multimedia content w/out even touching a physical device. They are working towards total integration of all media in the home & business. Certainly we will be able to see who we are talking to on the "phone" but it won't be on some dinky standalone piece of junk on your desk where you already have a PC. I can say w/much confidence that most people would prefer to talk on something that is cordless & lay on the couch or in bed or even go about accomplishing some chore in their home while talking on the phone before they sit in front of some little screen @ a desk just to see the person they're talking to. If they do want to see that person, whether @ home or work, I'm sure they'd prefer it to be on a bigger, better screen w/bigger, better audio like their PC or TV provides. The technology to do all of what I've mentioned exists now. It's all real & it will do all of what I've said. VOIP is not new, it is not exclusive to ACN & it will be utilized in the same way as ACNs novelty but through much better, much much more capable & convenient hardware that already exists in the home, or will exist for purposes other than only being able to see who you're talking to.

Companies like Microsoft will dictate how we communticate & receive media. Games & movies are already moving towards digital download. Motion capture technology like NATAL permits recognition & navigation w/out even touching anything! Videophones were obsolete before they were even given a thought because the network necessary for it to work needed better suited hardware for that network to exist in the first place. Don't get suckered by this. Take some time to educate yourself before you do things. There are much better, legitimate ways to invest your time & money.

As for ACN being the 22nd fastest growing company in its 1st 5 years while MS was 80th in its 1st 5. MS was trying to figure out what to do with a piece of technology that had never existed before. From that Bill Gates built the foundation for almost everything we do electronically today & the foundation for what will become of the future. All ACN has done is "partner" w/companies that already exist, that already have the infrastructure & equipment to provide the same services. How are you supposed to get a cheaper & better service from ACN than from the company that directly provides the service? Well if they have grown as they say they have then there are clearly a lot of suckers and ruthless ###s out there. If ACN were a legit company then all those "reps" that are taking advantage of people, by doing things like forging signatures as was mentioned before, wouldn't be allowed to continue. They would change the way they do business. Their business is based on a persons concern for family & friends as well as peoples stupidity & desire to be rich. They know that family & friends are a lot less likely to say no to someone asking for "help" with their business than they are to a telemarketer or some other annoying pain in the ### salesperson.

So to end my thoughts on this, It's pretty clear ACN is a pyramid disguised as a "business". I have a lot of problems w/companies like Bell & Microsoft because of their poor service & buggy products. They take advantage of their hold on their respective markets & have a lot of things worth complaining about, but they are real companies that make money providing real products & services that we really do & will continue to use. I just told this impossible broad the other day that I ordered a DSL modem from Bell & will be sticking w/them. It will actually turn out to be cheaper than the price that I was told w/ACN & be a better service w/no contract. She still calls up and wants me to come over & analyze the #s to see what's best for me?! WTF? I already analyzed the #s & told her what's best. I hope I've provided something helpful to keep someone out've trouble. In return maybe someone could give me their thoughts on the best way to get this crazy ### to stop harassing me?!

-Jeff.

The ones who hail ANC here are ruthless poeple who wouldn't shy away selling Eskimos refrigerators and taking the home of their grandmother away. Shame to you. You are not better than any common thieves.

The rest, if you hear MLM (multi level marketing) direct marketing - any of these terms and the company has a great commission plan to sign up more REP's you are looking at a pyramid scheme - no matter how you slice and dice it. The only ones that are guaranteed to make money are the ones on the top of the pyramid.

Can you make money - yes if you sell your sole to the devil, become ruthless - follow the mantra you might be lucky to create your own pyramid, which you have to maintain. But it is at the cost of others. We don't need to go into the details, but there are not enough people on earth to sustain an MLM scheme forever. If the recruitment base is exhausted you are the last element you only option is to recruit customers. Therefore all the promises of bonus pays will be pipe dreams.

This is not the first MLM opportunity and unfortunately it will not be the last. And companies like this unfortunately always find immoral poeple who continue. And they know they walk the fine line of legality - all around the world - do your research.

I don't think you know what your talking about? I just think you never took your job serious & focused more on the negatives..
these is suppose to be hard times & that real money don't come so easy as you think it would, you just are not patient enough and think that it's suppose to be piece of cake.. well that's your 1st mistake but i bet if you didn't cry like a baby & not give up you'd become a success person! seem your a person that's like to complain a lot.
