Ackermans false advertisement

last year November I bought stockings at Carlton Centre Ackermans and on the pack it says you get 2 Pairs and I never actually checked on how many pairs are there until yesterday when i wanted to use the stockings only to find out its only 1 stockings not two, then I went to Ackermans I told the Security who was on duty about the matter and he said he wont assist with anything as there was no slip he then called Eric who was in charge before he can even assist the Security instructed him that there is no slip and what i dont understand is why do i have to have a slip for the product i bought already last year and I have proof that I swiped at Ackermans and I still have the box of the Stockings please advise on how can this matter be resolved.

Ackermans unexplained fees and charges and lack of knowledge and professionalism from call center consultants

I have had this account since last year July been paying my installments on time but when ever I check on the outstanding balance there is not much change and when I contact the call center the agents lack information and product knowledge every question I ask they have to put me on hold and ask someone like really how can people without the required knowledge and skills be assigned to assist us if they themselves don't know what is happening, and that its my airtime that is being wasted . what pissed me off the most I just called thru now still querying about the same problem told the consultant I want to reduce my limit so that I can close this account she/he rudely laughed and became sarcastic telling me "how can I reduce my limit when owing R3200 the tone and manner on that call was just unethical to say the least . as much as I love your clothes for my baby I will not allow such service whereas im being over charged and don't get any assistance when I need it . poor customer service indeed.

Ackermans baby's vests

I recently purchased a few packs of 3-6 months vests from your ackermans store in Kokstad. Upon opening it, I noticed that the vests were quite small for a 6-8 kg baby. I then measured them against 0-3 month vests and noticed they were the exact same size. I'm extremely disappointed as I have wasted money buying vests when they will not be worn long.

Ackermans double deductions on bank card

I'm really concerned about the double deductions that were done on my bank card when I made a purchase last week.

This happened at Jubilee mall in hammanskraal. I made a purchase but the slip didn't come out the machine. They insisted that I should swipe again and that the first amount will be reversed. I refused and left my clothes in the plastic at the store. The money was already withdrawn but no receipt.

I returned 2 days later and swiped the clothes again, because I needed them. They promised to contact their financial department when I bring my bank statement. I did. Then they asked me to reserve the money at the bank. The bank said it was not possible on their side.

I called the store and they said they will get back to me. They seem confused on this matter and how to handle it. The clothes were over R1000. I need the money back pleases before the 10th of March 2018.

Please assist.

Ackermans unethical behaviour

On the 24.08.2018 My mother went to the Ackermans store at Daveyton mall and bought some clothing for my daughter, she came back complaining about their slow service and lack of customer service. She further mentioned that you can see that the staff there has no sense of urgency nor the willingness to assist/work. I had to go back to the store the following day to exchange some of the clothing as they were big. I can also say I experienced the same thing my mom experienced and further more got assisted by a rude cashier. Prior to me getting to that till Rhandzu Nguyuza was assisting two old women, whom I believed did not have enough money for the items they had in hand as they had to return/ leave some of them and that's after they kept on asking how much are the items thus far that she had already scanned. Instead of her advising them she rudely asked them how much do they have in hand and why didn't they check the prices prior to getting to the tills, as she now have to go through the items and their prices individually and have to return some of them when she had already scanned them. They didn't say much to her just gave her the money they had and advised her to process what she could considering the amount they had. When I got to the till I greeted Rhandzu Nguyuza whom did not respond, I father gave her the packed of the items that I came to exchange and further advised her that I am here to exchange the items in the plastic. She rudely told me to take out what I came to exchange, I then told her it's all the items in the plastic, she again rudely told me to take them out which this time I responded to her, and old her to speak nicely as I won't tolerate her attitude. She further more told me its not her work to take out the items from the plastic, which I took them out and laced them on the counter nest to the items I was to exchange with. I got another rude instruction not to mix the clothing I had in the plastic with the clothing I were to exchange to. I told her they were mixed but put on the side, she then flipped and mixed them together and further told me not to bring my home stress to the store, of which I responded by saying, I have no stress whatsoever instead you are giving me attitude like you did with the previous customers and arguing with me instead of doing what I came here to do. I further advised that I wasn't there for a fight but for a service and I deserve to be treated well as I know customer service and my customer rights. The Lady that was behind me also added that she(Rhandzu Nguyuza) was giving us attitude and she has been actually looking at her.

Ackermans credit limit

I am paying my account via debit order. I am not happy at all. The credit available reflects as zero up until the debit order is processed on your side. It deduct on my bank statement days before and when I want to make a purchase, I am embarrassed when my purchase is declined. This is not on. My credit available should be available to me when I need it.

Good day

I bought a phone on the 31st august 2017 from the ackermans store in vryburg, store no: 847. On the 28 december 2017 I took the phone in for repairs on the first time. Received the phone back after 3 weeks, the phone was working perfectly untill the 13th february 2018, the phone went dead again. This is now for the second time. On the 14th february 2018 I took the phone in for repairs agian. Its almost now 3 weeks and im still waiting for my phone to be repaired. I phone several time the vryburg branch and they advise that I need to speak to 3g mobile on 011 608 0603 and spoke to boitumelo. She advise that they do not spoke with branch walk in customers. I have to take up my query with the ackermans store where I have purchsed this phone from. Spoke to naomi on 0539272741 and she advise that is should refer this matter to 3g mobile. I think this is poor customer service. When I purchased this phone with my cash, I did not rever your cashier to the bank where this money was kept. So why should I be send up and done and still with no resolution.
Please advise what I can expect from ackermans as according to the national credit act, if a client purchase something and not satisfy with the product, they can return the item to the store within 6 months from date of purchase. This phone has been return due to being faulty and not because I am unhappy with your product. Dont you think my phone should have been replace second time that I took it in for repairs. How long will I have this phone after repairs before its dead again.

Ackermans cell phone

I had Purchased a cell phone 18th December 2018 and had it returned by 28th December as it was not working, the phone was a Christmas gift but it was a piece of scrap could not receive or make calls, screen turned white and the staff at the Ackermans Branch never do followups i paid for the phone and today is the 02/03/2017 i still do not have the phone back. The matter was escalated to the Store Manager Mr Mageba but he is full of stories and lies..i need my money back. I will never encourage any one to purchase any cell phones from that branch as the staff are incompetent and know nothing about customer care. I regret going there

Ackermans service

I applied for a store card/account in Dec 2017, I was told to email bank statements and shortly after got a call for more info, I was asked income and being a person who own my own company I gave my net not gross and was not asked either by the agent calling .. this then caused so many problems and my application was closed .. ackermans then told me it was not my affordability or credit but I was suppose to give them the gross income as they match it with bank statements .. so they sent it to relevant departments and asked me to reapply .. so I did immediately .. it's taken them 3 months to let me know that it can't be fixed on their side (IT / system issue) and I can try and reapply in 6 months ! I'm
Disgusted at the pathetic service from
Managers who don't call back and show no apologies in their tone of voice ! To name Anastasia, Cheslyn and a few others who I cannot remember as it's taken the whole world to help me ! I'm sure the shareholders would not be happy to know that people who want to spend their money there are being turned away! It's really such a pity because out of all the retailers I shopped around at when finding where to apply their clothes are the best value for money ..

Ackermans cellphone repairs

I took my phone in for repairs under warranty in Newcastle Mall Ackermans in Kwazulu-Natal on the following date 04 January 2018, today marks full seven weeks still without my phone, i have been calling them for weeks but yet not even one of them in the store got me helped including their Head Office. I want people to know what sort of bad service will they get when they are buying from Ackermans, i even asked for my money back to go buy a cellphone from elsewhere because i have to use my phone for work but now how am i going to complete my daily tasks when i have to ask my colleagues to swap sims if i have to make calls? Ackermans has shown me how bad their service is and i will never ever buy anything from them if this is how they run their business. For crying out loud, the phone was R1000, can`t they just replace it?

Ackermans accident

I was at Ackermans witfield square boksburg today to do some shopping as I went through the store there was a sale Railing so I had a look there as I was about to take a item off it the railing fell and I hurt my eye the employees looked at me and did not even bother to help me one of the customers come to help me put the wheel of the railing back I called the Manager and all I got was sorry. They did not even bother to remove the railing I'm so very disappointed in ackermans and the service I reserved... I really hope I get a reply on this Complaint before I take this further

Ackermans hisense cell phone

I bought a phone from Ackerman's Daspoort Last year it was a Hisense and it went back twice already for
Repairs.
Every time they say the phone is fixed but the same problem exist.
Phone still not charging since the last repair so I can't even see if they fixed the speaker.
I am really disappointed in the service I'm getting from 3G.

I bought the phone in May 2017 and it's been in for the same problem twice.
I really need for u to replace that phone as it seems to me it's a factory fault or something.
I can't wait every time 21 days for it to be repaired as I need the phone for work purpose.
The technicians even lost my proof of purchase the first time and I think it is very poor service im getting from you.

Ackermans unethical behaviour

I went to the store in King Williams town to pick up my cell phone which was ready for collection. The manager of the store was very rude. H e does not know how to provide a customer service. Please if possible send him for A customer service cause. For him to be A manager and behave with the customer. If nothing is done then I will be forced to put my complaint in the social media.

Ackermans treatment

I was at ackermas workshop durban today to buy something for my baby for xmas. While we busy buying. They catch guys stealing. After everyone was like shocked in store. Than crack a joke by saying, can people just assist me to know whether this dress I am buying is good for my daughter for xmas. One of the ladies in store came to us because I was coming with a friend she said you guys you criminals and you coming with those criminals we just found. She even said that they confirm that they coming with a guy with white shirt she pointing at me. Than since the locked the guys down by security guys offices. I asked if they know me they must just confirm my name or anything they know about me. Because I had my i. D and I got proof of where im working and staying. She did not tolerant that. She even told me that im pretending to be disable in a degrading way. Before even paying she approach me and said she will search me before leaving. I said but not my body. She said she will do anything and she got right to do that I wont do anything. I can go anywhere and do what ever I want to do and I tried to speak to her co-worker indian lady, who seem to understand and confirm that it not right way to speak to customers and harassed them indian lady name (Kulmah). She called a guy to come with her so that they can beat me if I refuse to remove my cloths. I was afraid that they wanting to beat me for nothing I agreed to remove my cloths infront of them. I felt so embarrassed removing my cloths staff watching me and my dignity was destroyed because im disable I cnt defend my self. She didnt even given clear explanation why search is conducted beside telling that im pretending to disable because im using medical orthotist and im coming with criminals. My number is [protected]. Ackermans premio p700 imei: [protected]

Good day, on 25/6 March 2017 I bought a Premio P700 7" Tablet for my son birthday, in September it started to freeze and get very warm, also it takes long to switch on, mind you it only gets used over weekends.in October the we switched it on and the LCD gave it, on 25.10.2017 I took it to Blue Route Mall where I initially bought it, filled in all paperwork, gave my original slip, box and all accessories, I was told it will take 35 working days by Wafikah. On Wednesday 13.12.2017 I phoned the store and spoke to Carmen, I gave her my IMEI number as well as the tracking number RSMD0026235, she took my details and was going to call me back with feedback, it is now Friday 15.12.2017 spoke to Christa, again she took me details and said she will call me back. Ackermans tablet faulty, premio p700v

I bought 3 tablets 20/12/2016, after 6 months June 2017 it started giving problems, send it in for repairs, now its starting again. Did ask if i can have my money back or get a new one, but its a no. if it is not that yhe tablet dont want to charge then it shows that it doesnt read the sim card but nothing is wrong with the sim. At ackermans parow one of the staff members said that they have a lot of problems with the premio tablet, what i want to know why cant i have my money back if the premio tablet is giving such a lot of problems, because im going to be the looser of R2700, 00 with a faulty product. All three tablets was in for repairs and all three is giving problems again

Ackermans account payment

Good Day
This has email serves as an irritation to my being. I have called in to the call centre [protected] and spoke to Daniswa 2017/04/06. I wanted to arrange for a debit order on my account. It was later confirmed that the debit order has been activated. The first month the debit order went through to my surprise the following month I received a call that my account was not paid. How so? As I have arrange for a debit order?. I then called the call centre again and spoke to Tania and arranged again for a debit order as it is my name that is being tainted here. Tania promised that she has arranged for a debit order

I then called in again and I was told the same story not only once but twice I spoke to Ayanda and Nadia. Can someone please indicate what is happening in your department and why is my name being tarnished like this. There seems to be no communication whatsoever in this department. How are we supposed to trust Ackerman's in such instances.

Ackermans funeral policies

Hi, I Would like to know your procedures in concern with your staff opening funeral policies for your account holders without their consent, I have cancelled two policies already in my name and there are no refunds on all the amounts taken, I want to know if is it safe to have an account with you or should one have cancel their accounts because of your immoral staff. Ackermans rude credit control staff

I am ONE month behind on a instalment and got an email this morning that I will be handed over to ITC cause I don't respond or take their phone calls which is utter rubbish! I do speak to a lady who refuses to give me her name and she is so rude and without any etiquette that I should explain why I did not pay and that my reason (unforseen medical expenses for my 4yr old son) is not taken into consideration blah blah blah and the more I try to explain the more she interrupts me. I asked her numerous times to keep quiet and let me finish talking. She kept interrupting and I told her she is making me furious and she just continued with her spiteful interruption as if she wanted me to get mad and scream! I eventually put the phone down. This was today 29/11/2017 at 10:35. This is the reason why I never buy anything from this company again. I don't support (my purchases pays her salary or the department that hires her to phone me) such low class behaviour and straight out lack of respect. I am the client! I do hope her superiors sees this complaint and do something about this.

Ackermans staff attitude

Staff really do not have a customer care service, I have been a customer at Arcon Park ever since the shop was opened. Sunday I was five minutes late, I wanted to enquire about my lay-bye which was due on the 24 Nov 17 but no one attended me at the door, I opened the door but they were so rude to tell me they can't help me because they are closed. There was no security at the door and when I enter into the shop they just ignored me and gave me an attitude. So is this how it is suppose to be if the shop is closed we must get bad attitude from the staff or their mouth is closed as well.
