AccountNow prepaid card that was lost and company will not send me a new one

I have been dealing with customer service department. I called in because I had lost my card. I later found the card I had misplaced but their customer service department said I could not use that card since it has been canceled already. I figured ok not a problem I will just have it sent to me so I can get a new card. Well they said that I have to submit documentation for a new address since I don't have my new address on file. I sent them documentation and they said it was not acceptable. So I sent new updated documents and now they are telling me it will be another 72 hours. I demanded to speak to a supervisor and again they said someone would call me back which each time I have asked I have never received a call back. It is scripted responses and generic non-caring attitudes and they don't care that this is my paycheck I have bills to pay and have no access to my money. I am so frustrated and fed up with this company I have since canceled my direct deposit from my employer and will deal with another company to handle my needs. I am completely dissatisfied with their customer service and lack of caring and professionalism.

AccountNow account now prepaid visa

My account now account. My account was hacked on July 28, 2017. I notified account now immediately. Filed a dispute and today I was told that no error was found. I would not be getting my money back. I lice in Louisiana and over 500 miles away (8 hours from my hone) soneone withdrew $500.00 f4om my account via ATM in Caton, Georgia. No error? What kind og investigation was done. My money was stolen. And account now does nothing. My attorney will be getting involved.

They said the same thing to me. And refuse to send me the $439.43 they personally withdrew from my account on 8/16/2017. They MUST be shut down ! They are stealing money from their own customers and no one is doing a thing about it. I think it is because these prepaid cards are looked upon as a low income commodity. Hence the word low income. Please help us stop any more citizens from being taken advantage of. I had no idea that things like this occur and our government allows them to continue their evil business practices !

AccountNow never receiving a replacement card/ horrible customer service

Hi my name is Lawanda Samuel I filled a complaint of my card had been compromised with this company on July 3, 2017. Today is July 26, 2017 and my account has yet to be rectified. I have not received my replacement card and I have new deposits that are on hold which has caused great hardship on my home and my health. This has been one of the worse experience ever. I have submitted documents over 5 times that they claim they never receive and they continue to give me the run around.I am considering filing a legal complaint against this company the for mental anguish that I have suffered my health has suffered & my home has suffered greatly. AccountNow prepaid debit card account now

My account was hacked. There were 3 unauthorized transactions on my account which I caught on July 3rd 2017. I called Customer service immediately to report it.
I was told that I would have a new card mailed out to me, and that they would dispute it for me. They told me the money was on hold and they could not cancel the transaction until it was taken out by the merchant. Which made no sense of I'm telling you I did not authorize these transactions. I asked for supervisor and was left on hold for over an hour. Then they hung up one. I have had my account for 2 years and never had a problem with customer service until now. They allowed this merchant to take my money.
I called back today on July 5th 2017 @8pm and I swear I got the same person again, who gave me totally different information and they did not expedite my new card either on July 3 2017. They claim I denied it which is untrue and all calls are recorded for quality assurance. Then I get out on hold again for 45 mins waiting for someone from disputing department to pick up. Again same woman answers which again claims There a different people working. I was told there was over a 100 customer service reps yet she could not tell me how many supervisors were on the floor. So I had to 25 dollars for a new card to be expedited before my next paycheck is deposited. I'm a single mother of a y year old who now has no money for 2 weeks.
I should be refunded the money for my new card. Since I reported the unauthorized transactions early. The information was clearly stated to them to pursue a complaint with my verbal authorization on July 3 2017.
Why pay fees if customer service is a joke.
Now i have to download a dispute form and sign it then send it back. I was, not given a timeframe for the investigation, nor a timeframe when I would get my money back.

AccountNow unauthorized charges on card

My name is Will Campbell
I am disable all of my money is tied up in my AccountNow card I can not get my medicene or food or pay for my mobility to get to my dialysis treatment 3 days a week. My card got comromised a few hours after money was put on card. I called AccountNow and told them what happen and to freeze that card and issue me a new card and to credit my 178.98 back to me. They told me to write a despute, which I did and fax it to them and the fax got to them fine and I got proof that it got there. They also said they will issue me a new card. I never got my card with my funds still on card. The only thing I got from them was a lettler saying my claim was denied do to there investigation. I called them and ask them where is the new card they said they mailed it to me which was a big LIE. There was no investigation done and there was never a card reisued . Also when someone does answer the phone it is in the Phillipines. I told them that I would like to record this conversation and they said no they will not talk, but the crazy thing is they will record you. I then said let me teliconference this call so my attorney can hear and ask questions and they said no and hanged up the phone. Bottom line is I am on a fix income and live alone and need my money from this scam bank.

AccountNow I am complaining about the "my. accountnow.com" website.

I can log in.
I can continue to my account.
I can mark the card I want to transfer funds.
I can use the send money tab, however when I push the blue "transfer money button, it goes nowhere.

AccountNow banking

I had a large loan from my 401K account electronically transfered to my AccountNow account. LUCKILY, the deposit was over $10, 000 and exceeded the max limit and was rejected, because my account is now frozen. I am getting very little help from customer service, mainly because they speak very poor English and seem very unconcerned. I've read a lot of reviews and it seems as though this is a common practice of AccountNow, they freeze accounts with large amounts indefinitely and no matter how many times you send what they request... They never receive it. I've been dealing with them for 5 years with zero issues but the first one is a killer. I strongly urge people to look elsewhere for their banking solutions because this one here will bite you hard. I'm stopping direct deposit Monday, they will not get another cent of my money.

AccountNow account now prepaid debit card

I have been a loyal customer with Account Now for at least 4 years. But on December 7, 2016 a mistake was made at a Walmart when I tried to add funds to my card. To make a long story short it was a mistake that we fixed at the store but when I called Account Now the costumer service rep kept on insisting that we needed to cancel my card because of "Unauthorized Activity" which wasn't the case. I told him at least 4 times not to cancel the card. I was very plain but, as I found out later, their customer service offices are in the Phillipines so there is a problem with language. After trying to load money again I found out the card was cancelled. So they said, "Don't worry, we will send you a new card in three days(expedited), but that didn't happen. It has been 12 business(18 real days), and I do not have access to my money. Thankfully I had savings to pay rent, some bills, gas and food up until now. But, I am sitting here three days before Christmas and have had to cancel my trip to see my sons and my granddaughter who live in Texas because of these incompetent people. The last four numbers of my account number is 2773. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com.

If someone from Account Now sees this and cares please do something besides sitting in California and drawing interest on my money. If you don't do anything to help me then "God help you."

AccountNow credit card

My complaint is with AccountNow. Social Security suggested that I use their service for Direct Deposit of my check. I used the service for about 5 yrs or so until at one point I could not withdraw any money or use it for any other purposes. The card accumulated $10, 000 at which time I discontinued the Direct Deposit, the whole while I was trying to get them to release my money to no avail.
My house just burned to the ground I have nothing I need my money. I have no information on the card everything burned up. Please get them to release my money.

AccountNow card issue

Hello my name is Delisa Davis I'm calling I'm calling about a account that I have a child with the card number ending in 4716 and I'm getting the run-around about my card for some reason my car was on got restricted when I just called you guys just the ex a question and then my car end up getting on restriction I can use my card they told me I had to give information about me and where I live I said I'll let and seem like the I'm getting lied to Adelaide to Adelaide to cuz I'm getting a different response from each person that I talk to and I'll talk to 3 managers I think once a person talk to more than three managers that's it is time to start doing something else because I'm not getting the truth by in about it I'll get one later telling me I can get my card in 3 days and paid $25 and $10 later I got to wait 5 to 7 days when I've been waiting for a month and I should have to suffer that long to wait and it's an inconvenience for me because now I need my money and I don't have nothing everything is on my card and I can't access my card but I'm getting the runaround by you all people and I shouldn't get the runaround by your people because it's making me to the point where I'm about to get a lawyer and Sue the hell out of you because this is an inconvenience for me I should have to go through this when I've been a customer for you all for 4 years I need something to happen some type of telling me something it should be a better way I can get something done when I should have to wait on my money that I work hard for that you people didn't work I work to get my money not sure so I need something to happen I need somebody from corporate office to do they job an fix the issue

AccountNow negligence and theft

Account now has not only compromised my account by stealing $800, they lied about closing the account, have had extra transactions posting after the account was "closed" and now have to close my account right before my direct deposit is to hit my account, leaving me without a way to cover my rent and bills that are past due already because of their negligence. Account now is targeting seniors citizens and more female seniors as I have been reading other reviews before me . ANYONE READING THIS IS WELCOME TO JOIN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST ACCOUNT NOW,
All customers service agents, and the manager included are involved in illegal activity as they know that my account was compromised and never attempted to resolve the issues, instead only made my situation more detrimental .
How am I supposed to be satisfied with a dispute, when account now is the only suspect in this crime. ? How does account now take my money and blame it on my landlord, when the landlord hasn't received the money . My automated payment which I set up years ago had never been used by my landlord, and still hasn't received the payment that had only been attempted the last 2 months by account now, ... I'm asking if you send a check with my money WhY don't you have the check number? Or any information I have the right to ask for about my money and my account ?
DO NOT TRUST THESE CRIMINALS WITH YOUR INFORMATION THEY HAVE CROOKED HACKERS AND MONEY LAUNDERING THIEVES AS EMPLOYEES.
ONE THING IS FOR SURE, I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK OR I COULD SUE THE COMPANY AND WON'T ANYONE ELSE BE WORKING, BECAUSE THEY WILL HAVE TO LAY EVERY ONE OFF DUE TO THIS CLASS ACTION SUIT THAT WILL HAVE THEM FILING BANKRUPTCY . Account now robbed me, customers service agents and manager are involved in illegal activity and are covering up for the INSIDE JOB OF TAKING funds, misleading customers who are seniors and more, they have gone against proper procedures, and knowingly compromised my account, my identity and living situation, by making it seem as.though my landlord is stealing from my accout when we both know that account now is negligent and dishonest with international internet HACKERS AND MONEY LAUNDERING THIEVES AS EMPLOYEES.

We have been dealing with the same thing from account now. We cancelled a bill pay over a week ago abd we jeep getting the run around from them to give us are 309.95 back they keep giving us excuse and they also say wait 3 business days everyday we call.

AccountNow access to account financial data on website

For two days now, June 3 – June 4, 2016, unable to access account information on AccountNow website I faced the AccountNow’ annoying script reading, limited English speaking customer service reps in India or South America, again, who (not-so-skillfully) evaded questions about the website service being down. This is just one of many sneaky tactics AccountNow uses to evade civil and/or criminal justice. I’ve experienced numerous deceptive measures that have kept me from assessing deposit and balance information or restore restricted card use.

I’ve read and agree with all of the AccountNow grievances, they reflect the general lack of options disadvantaged people face. Elderly people, poor people and minorities must submit to the abuses of financial institutions such as AccountNow, Payday loan predators whose compliance with consumer mandates just nearly meet the mark. To receive entitlement benefits, employer’s direct deposit requirements etc., paid via traditional banks are off limits to people who with negative credit reports and outstanding loans.

AccountNow’ offshore customer service reps, in India, are paid a fraction of U.S. Minimum Wages and are in place solely as a buffer to protect them in a case of a Class Action Lawsuit. Their attorneys are very smart people who know to be prepared for serious Federal violations, especially since they are permitted to receive and pay Federal entitlement benefits payments to disable, retired and State recipients. Entitlement benefits payments providers are the sole source of AccountNow’ profits without of which would push Matabank, AccountNow, and other financial predators out of business.

There is literally little and no accountability protections for consumers requiring financial services. Obviously, issues such as this stand at the core of social separation in our Country and must be addressed in this age of information technology.

AccountNow prepaid visa gold card

They put a block on my sons account the day his federal taxes went in it. he has $4, 600 in there, all he gets is the run around, they have had his money for two months now saying they are sending him a check that has never came. he has a family to support this has really affected his family please release peoples money you are robbing the poorest people. If I need to get him an attorney I will do so, We are filing a complaint with BBB also so but hopefully trying to resolve this before taking further steps but we are tired of waiting. please help. Please give us a phone number to speak to someone.

AccountNow funds and card placed on hold and closed account without notice

Incident dated On Feb 6th 2016; This complaint is for My Disabled brother, who had a account now visa prepaid card and he was denied access to receive his money after two days of using the card from receiving his taxes, reason stated by account now was there was too many money transfers and they wanted him to provide proof of address, name and identification. I helped my brother get what they were requesting and took it to a place to fax them over the info. Next day called and spoke to the same Representative a women with a very bad attitude, my brother has a mental illness and I'm his caregiver the lady kept acting like she didn't understand my brother when he would call and she laugh at him. By Feb 19th 2016 they kept giving him the run around about when he can use his card, what else they needed from him to verify identity then finally they said that his account is closed and all funds will be sent back to IRS. The card that he had transfer money too was shut down as well without notice and the funds missing, in which was a car payment owed for purchase that was promised to pay the remaining balance on vehicle and account now caused the car to be repossessed by original owner. thanks to account now he has no car. This company needs to be reported and shut down and refund every one there money back, I am going to do all I can to help my brother get the justice he needs and deserves for being discriminated by account now please believe that.

AccountNow meta bank debit card

HI I would like to report in the time, day and month when I called (ACCOUNT NOW) so that sectary can assist me in my matter. I was having trough on line. I still am and that is because (account now) has failed to help me with my situation with up coping my Bank summery. I signed in with my pass word and my user name and the screen had stood froze I new it was on their side" they wanted no part of their failure to complete what happen. one more thine they told me when I first signed up with (META-BANK ACCOUNT NOW that I would get my money two days ahead of time, and to my knowledge now that is not so no more they are not about professionalism to their customers.

AccountNow account was frozen because their representative typed in my wrong security question and my card was retained

On February 15th I reached out to AccountNow because I moved and I wanted to update my address they had on file. I do not have internet so I called to do it. She was asking me to confirm security questions which there was 20 of and one of the questions/ answers she typed in was incorrect. Due to this and her poor listening skills AccountNow froze my Account. She told me that I would have to send in all of this documentation in order to re-activate the Account. Immediately I updated the information that day. Followed up the next day nothing and resent via email and fax and nothing. I have done this the past 4 days and today is Thursday. Feb 18th. I went to the bank to use my card and withdrawl cash and my card was retained and I now am unable to get it back. I only have AccountNow as an Account right now and my check was just deposited which I am unable to access because AccountNow does not know how to take care of their customers. Instead of coming up with a Solution and a quick fix they have made this process so difficult and frustrating. A task so easy of updating my Address turned into such a HUGE Problem. I received an email that stated Although I could not access the information online I would be able to still make purchases with my card Please see below:

I have an account now debit card now for about 5 years and this year I didn’t receive a new card when it expired so I called to have them send a new one because there is no option online other than replacing a lost or stolen card the lady could not understand or speak English well at all she typed in the wrong answer to a security question because she was asking me the wrong question and admitted it was her mistake and it froze my account this was on may 5 2021 I sent in the required documents to verify my identity to the email address I was sent to upload to after a couple days I received nothing not a call email nothing I called back they said their email doesn’t work and I needed to use a website to upload so again I immediately done what she said then called immediately to verify they received it and they did and she said it would take 1-5 business days and they would rush ship my new card that I was charged $25 for and it’s now been over 30 days since and I always get the same thing when I call that they apologize it’s taking a little longer than said and pretty much that’s it I have called every day letting them know that all of my money is in that account and my direct deposit goes to that account every week I have not had access to my money to pay my bills my vehicle has been repossessed I’ve been evicted from my home I’ve lost my job because I have no gas money then lost my vehicle my credit score has dropped from good to bad over 200 points from missed payments closed accounts repossessions all because of my account now being frozen I’ve lost everything my wife and 3 kids and I are now homeless I’ve occurred thousands of dollars in late fees and repossession fees I owe money I’ve borrowed to feed my family I’ve had to sell personal items to try to pay on bills my life has been completely ruined and turned upside down because of a mistake account now customer service made when it should have been avoided in the first place if they had sent my new card can anyone please help me find a number to call green dot bank or account now where I can actually talk to someone who can actually help me get this resolved this is beyond horrible customer service I’ve lost everything because of this if you can help please email me reedychris76@yahoo.com thank you

If they do not resolve this issue by the end of the day tomorrow I will file a complaint with the better business bureau the FDIC and going straight to my attorney with the information he told me to get and I’m going to sue account now and green dot bank and metabank any business associated or listed on my paperwork from account now I don’t believe in suing people or business for a mistake because I don’t want to jeopardize the job of the lady who made the mistake and cause her family to suffer as mine has especially with the loss of a business opportunity of a lifetime that I have invested and worked relentlessly on building for the past 5 years that was almost destroyed over the pandemic and now I’ve completely lost the opportunity because the company signed contract with another contractor because I couldn’t pay for my E&O insurance that is required before I could start and I couldn’t pay it because I had no access to my money because account now has not bothered to review my documents to verify my identity for over 30 days now so no business opportunity no job no vehicle no home no good credit nothing left because of this so at this point if something isn’t done tomorrow I’m sorry if it cost the lady her job but I will have no choice but to sue so I can try to put my life back together this is beyond ridiculous any other bank on earth would have resolved this issue on the phone that instant and by the way the security question she asked was the model of my first car which is S-10 she asked several times I gave the same answer because that is correct however she was confused and should have asked what the make of my first car was and I would have said Chevrolet because that’s the make not the model it’s a 1982 Chevrolet S-10 Durango pickup truck year is 1982 make is Chevrolet model is S-10 so if the correct answer was Chevrolet she should have asked me for the make and not the model that’s just common sense and account now should not hire people with limited English skills to be the only available communication representative to handle affairs with people who only speak English that’s just bad business ethics to not make sure they have representation available to accommodate the customers language that’s just as bad as me trying to represent people in China when I only speak English it’s not gonna have good results

AccountNow frozen funds os $85.00. rip off...

I would like to file a complain against account now. It is time to close them down. Someone needs to investigate the banking firm that allows their funds to be transferred. Account Now has too many complaints about money, they are not trustworthy. Always remember those who prey on the innocent that there is a GOD above who sees and knows all. I loaded $85.00 for my son to purchase a book at school. They froze the account and no sensible explanation was made. I will get my money back. I am not sending any documentation to them. When he opened the account they didn't request it so I am not sending anything to them.

AccountNow my ss direct deposit account

I had had some money being withdrawn from my account and asked the business to stop taking funds from my account and they did not so I called customer service of account now and asked for a replacement card to be mailed to me. But never received it. Twice they said. They had mailed them but none ever came in the mail. So they then said I needed to fax a copy of my I'd social security card and proof of address so I did . Then they said it was too dark and blurry the I'd. So then they had me take a picture and upload it so I did. Then they said the address had been cut off at the end . So i also uploaded a third copy I'd Ss card and lease of my new address. Now remember. They got the address and Ss card. Fine the first time . But couldn't read the I'd clearly. So they are still refusing to send me another replacement card or lift the restriction so I can access my funds. Mean while my rent and car payment are due. I have been fighting with these people since august 2015. They allowed me in Oct to do a one time transaction but also did it in September. Now it's Nov and still I can not get my money. I am on disability for a stress related disability as it is . And now they are just adding stress

AccountNow restricted account no warning

On Aug 4th I rode a cab 1 hr to airport at the end of my vacation. I had $50 cash and my account now card with over $700. My cab fare came to $65. My card was denied. I went inside to atm and my access was denied. Embarrassed I called account now to see what was up. Claims my account is "restricted" due to a refund I received "wasn't done properly". They told me I had to send DL, SS CARD, UTILITY BILL! How shady is that? Now they have my direct deposit and I am stranded in Alaska with no access to my $ and my SS CARD 3 states away! Call center drops my call each time I call. Can't log onto account it's also "restricted". THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!

Generally, when a restriction is placed on an account and verification documents are requested, it is to protect you and any funds that may be on your card.
