Account Shield bid

My account has stopped functioning ..i am trying to bid but it keeps telling me that i cannot send a chat to any clients..i have never seen this before. Is the account under maintenance or? I cant understand this please help me ... The problem started from Friday this week and i dont know whether it is only my account or others also have the same problem.

Account Shield Misinformation

This is "protection" for the stuff you buy at BestBuy. They lie about what it covers to trick you into signing up. They then send over a packet with a big list of "exclusions" which you have 60 days to read and realize that you've been lied to, before they keep your money. They are so rediculous, they even list lightning strike as one, but only as long as no rain water touches your stuff.

I had the same thing happened to me with unauthorized enrollment. I didn't know anything about this Account Shield Plus program until I noticed a fee on my statement. This is credit card company deceptive practice not letting you know clearly what the fee is for. They just put fee and the only way to find out what it's for is to call their customer service. So I called BB and they said that this is a third party company and it's not their problem... Last time I checked my credit card had Best Buy logo written all over it. So they transfer me to Citi, which is now the third credit card company to take on Best Buy in 3 years. This manager ### had the nerve to first accused me of not remembering that I signed up for it. Then he accused me of not reading my statement clearly so it's my fault and I would have to pay for it. I never authorized any of this debt protection crap, which I've always knew it's a scam and now this turd is telling me that I have to for it. So for 3 years this $1700 interest free loan has tack on and extra $700 dollars in debt protection. This is flat out a scam! For people who think that buying protection program such as this or any extended warranty for your merchandise or even cars; you are idiots because you are paying for something that hasn't happen yet. Two weeks ago I file a complaint with BBB and CFPB and two days ago I received a letter from Citi saying they will credit all my money back to me along with any interest charges. Thank you for these organizations for helping me fight back those giant thieves.

oh my gooooooooshhh... i just spent an hour
finally i was transferred to the right department to cancel the account shield plus(which i never authorized)
i was charged for three months...
this company really sucks.. this one representative tried to transfer to the wrong dpmt and i actually scream and said no no no not again! don't transfer me!
and she ignored me and transfer the call again...
hopefully he really DiD cancelled it

THEY SCREWED ME AS WELL. i never agreed to this. why does best buy allow this to happen? if anyone that see's any charges on their statement, call asap to cancell this bogus bill or you'll end up loosing over $100, like me...

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! I'M EVEN A BESTBUY EMPLOYEE. I know exactly what the plan covers and thats why I did not want it. I was not offered the service either, I would have remembered, because I learned what the program was later from my supervisor two months later, then I investigated. I lost $50 of the $100 it charged me. Its HSBC's problem, not Best Buy. It was charging me my monthly balance in Account Shield, in turn doubling the cost of my laptop I got the card for.
Just in case you're wondering, I don't recommend my customers to get it either.

ACCT Shield Plus?
I NEVER authorized this service and have been charged twice a month; a different amount each time. I called the 1800 number listed next to it on my BestBuy statement and was told I contacted the wrong dept and had to call the 1800 number again as they could not transfer me. WHAT?! This company has been getting away with this for over a year and I just realized it as I make all my payments automatically from my bank account. I opted out of paper statements, stupid. It is criminal that this company can rob people so blindly and get away with it.
