I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. I called them to complain about them automatically sending me their product without my consent. They credited my account but now I've received two more shipments! I phoned to complain but had a wait time of 73 minutes on the telephone so I sat down to write them a pointed and direct letter stating that I did not agree to continue and to stop all shipments. What comes in the mail today but another darn bottle which I refuse to open and will immediately return to sender along with yet another letter possibly in BOLD PRINT AND I WILL contact my credit card company to ask how to block this company from being able to charge my account. What a crock of [censored] this has turned out to be!

I received a trial offer of Acaipure diet items for the agreed upon shipping and then was BILLED for $44.00+ for the items plus shipment. I received an email for a return authorization, sent the entire shipment back with a receipt confirmation (I have this) and then did not receive a credit AND have now been billed AGAIN for $39.95, an unauthorized debit on my credit card. I am deeply concerned and am trying to recoup not only my money but ensure I get off their list. The company has a 60 minute phone wait time (or more) and will not respond to emails. Oprah gave her approval of this product, which was a strong endorsement. Help!

I received merchandise from this company and have no recollection of purchasing it. I have tried to inquire about this and been on hold for 25 minutes and also emailed them and have not hjad any reply. I could return merchandise, but there is a restocking fee of 15%, plus they say you have thirty days to return it and the bill says 11/19 and the p9stage date is 12/15. After reading numerous statements from other customers, I believe they are not a reputable company and misrepresent themselves.

Tried the "free" offer where I was supposed to be charged $4.95 S&H. Rec'd add'l products in the amount of $60. Returned the products-have not seen a credit yet. Got charged an add'l $39.90 beginning of Dec. and then $44.90 for another shipment which I never received. I contacted the company and they said I agreed to their "terms." Evidently if you don't return the unused portion of the original "free" product, you are charged the $39.90. However, they never addressed the fact that I was charged another $44.90 and received no product; nor did they credit me back the products I returned. This is a bogus scam as evidenced by the tremendous amount of complaints. I have contacted my credit card company to try and stop any future charges.

I also order the same product and receive the same thing. Paid for the shipping and handling but a couple weeks later I was charged the 45.99. I trying calling for several days and was placed on hold for almost an hour each time. Then on 01/07/09 I spoke with a lady on their customer service line after holding for 33 mins. She made me feel like I should have known that I would be charged the 45.99. I told her I order the FREE sample off line and did not want any additional pills at this time. She stated to me (the customer) "Now you know we had to charge you for those pills, how else is the company suppose to make money?" I was so thrown off by her statment. I feel this is how that company makes their money by having those false ads. Not sure where you saw how to order the "FREE" samples but I found my on http://www.bettysweightloss.com/my/story2/. If these are false stories or these people are helping this company rip off people someone needs to put a stop to it. THis has total taught me a lesson not to believe everything I see and nothing is totally free even if you pay for the shipping and handling. On the website they were also advertising for "FREE" colon cleansers too and saying "How I Lost 47 Lbs Using These 2 *Free* Diet Products That I Combined Into A Powerful Double Diet”

I ordered on line a sample of AcaiPure Dietary Supplement for $4.95 which I paid for by my Discover card on October 8. (Paid credit card bill on 11/24/08). Did not sign up for any more product nor have I received any more product, but on my Discover statement (closing date 11/25/08) there are two charges from AcaiPure. One 11/4/08 for $39.95 and one on 11/19/08 for $44.90. I never ordered additional product and have nor received any. Please credit my acount for $84.85 and confirm by e-mail. Thank you, Cindy Bell

There is no website for AcaiPure. If you call the phone # they do refer you to a website with limited spaces for concerns. This company sends an email to which you respond to for something that you are supposed to be able to use for 2 weeks on a trial basis. What they do not tell you is that when you agree to receive the trial sample, you are actually enrolling in a membership that starts sending shipments every month! This was the fine print under "terms and conditions". Not only do you get ripped off for the 1st shipment which includes 2 items you did not order (you were supposed to opt out for these, according to a customer care rep), which they bill you for an additional $39.80 and then charge you for the "free sample on a trial basis - the amount of $39.95, but now they start sending this stuff to you monthly and you don't find out until you get your credit card statement. It is vey hard to get in contact with them. You must hold for at least 30 minutes or try the email approach & hope they get the message. After a very informative conversation with a customer care rep, you find out that you must return the shipment which is on its way to a different address - that you cannot refuse the shipment. You must pay a 15% restocking fee and postage and return postage. In otherwords, they charge you $44.90 and will only credit $33.95 back & you must pay for special shipping to make sure they receive it! The returns must go to: Fullfillment Center, Attn: CCN Returns, 12399 Belcher Road South, Suite 140, Largo, FL 33773 with a RMA # which the "customer Care rep" will give you. What a hassle to return the useless product that you should never have kept, received, or ordered in the first place. Judy in Georgia

Evidently this company is actually out of Phoenix, Arizona, however; my package came from the same name in Ft. Largo Florida.

I ordered a free 14 day trial of AcaiPure to only be charged $4.95 shipping. However; when I received my order, included were two products--namely Hoodiburst Gum, $9.95 and Hoodiawater, $29.95 for a total charge of $44.85.

There was nothing of the order form for me to access these two products on the internet.

Dishonest business practice. I did not try the AcaiPure, nor did I open the other two things. Even if I had liked it, I would never reorder from a company that would blatantly send more than ordered and bill my credit card.

THIS COMPANY IS SCAMMING PEOPLE, THEY SAY THEY SHIPPED ME AN ORDER WHICH I DID NOT ORDER AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED. EACH TIME I CALL THEM I HAVE TO WAIT OVER 1 HOUR TO SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON AND EACH ONE HAS BEEN VERY RUDE AND SAY THE ITEMS WERE SHIPPED SO I NEED TO CONTACT THE POST OFFICE. THEY TRY AND CONNECT THEMSELVES WITH OPRAH WINFREY BY USING HER NAME IN IN THEIR AD, BUT I BELIEVE OPRAH WOULD BE VERY UPSET TO KNOW THIS. THEY SAY IT IS LEGAL FOR THEM TO AUTOMATICALLY PLACE AN ORDER ON YOUR CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU REQUEST TO TRY THEIR FREE TRIAL OFFER AND IF YOU DONT SEE IT TO BAD IT IS CHARGED RIGHT AWAY, YOU NEED TO ACCEPT THIS. WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS COMPANY?

Ad said try the product with no risk, only shipping will be asked for up front. They charged my account 44.85 and my bank said they put me on autoship which I didn't ask for nor did I know they had done. They said that I must cancel with this company or I will be charged each month for the product I am not getting. I called the Fraud line for the state of AZ but this was not in their jurisdiction. I am filing a complaint with the attorney general of the state of AZ's office. I am also sending a certified letter to the address in Scottsdale with a return receipt requested cancelling the order. I would like to know who this ceo is and why he/she thinks they can get away with this unconscionable act... Maybe one of you has a better idea of how to handle this.

I ordered a trail of acaipure for $1.95 which I received on 10/26/08. I contacted the company on 11/13/08 and canceled to ensure that I would not receive additional charges. On 11/15/08, I was charged $39.95 and on 11/30/08 I was charged $44.90. I have not received additional items from them. I have tried callling on numerous occasions but I get placed on hold for 30-45 minutes. I contacted my credit card company and had the charges placed in dispute.

I placed an order for a free trial with $1.99 shipping charge. They sent other items I didn't order. I was told to send them back. I did but never got a credit. I noticed this month that I have a second charge for the item but I did not order additional product. Bottom line - the $1.99 product has now cost me $39.95 the first month and now $44.90 the second month. How can they continue to charge for product they have not sold me. How do I get it to stop?

I ordered the Acaipure, the ad stated it was a free sample, you only pay $4.95 shipping & handling, I put this charge on my mastercard and they have placed 2 more unauthorized charges on my card,
11/23/08 $39.95; 12/09/08 $44.90. These charges were not authorized, nor have I received any products for these charges. I want these charges removed, immediately and there is to be no further charges on my credit card. This company is breaking the law.

I placed and order for a trail of this companies AcaiPure tablets after watching Oprah's show and they sent it plus some other stuff which I returned extra stuff and was to try the AcaiPure and then if I wanted to keep on ordering the would send more in 1 month.
Instead they have charged my credit card account three times for the following amounts, $33.92, 39.95, 44.90. I would like a total refund and am going to contact the Better Business Beurea to turn them in.

I strongly agree that this website is malicious and I will report them to Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax of probable fraud by this company who sells this product. They actually say in large letters "Free Trial" for $1.95 shipping and handling. I tried to cancel within 15 minutes, but found I can't ever get anyone to answer and the message I left on their machine was never returned. Also, in very small print, apparently I joined a Club, and through these complaints I found out thay there
nd out that there is a "restocking fee" for anything that is returned. If I am charged for anything again, then I will again dispute it as an unauthorized charge on my credit, contact Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax, also contact a consumer advocacy group, the ADA (I am disabled), and anyone else I can think of. Anything I received from them, I will consider it unsolicited, and therefore, mine to keep without paying one cent. Also, when I tried to print my order, it printed the page without any of my information, so I'll have to check all my cards for any unauthorized charges, and everything will start on that day.

Ordered a free sample and received product and charged $44.95. Many, many calls to company and never got through- sent emailed to company and explained I only wanted the free products and I wanted to return product and for them to credit my account. Cost me $9.00 for shipping with confirmed signature. The orignal bill was 44.95 then instead of refunding me the money they charged my account for another 39.95.

It has cost me so far $93.90 for a item I never ordered - on top of that I now have bank charges. This website should not be allowed to do any future business.

Ordered the trial size of Acaipure for only 4.95. Received package with Hoodia Gum and a Hoodia Liquid. They charged my credit card 44.95. When I attempted to call, there was an extremely long wait. Emailed them and they said I marked it when I ordered. I have a very good memory and do not recall marking this invisible box. I returned the package with all its contents within the 30 days. Still have not received credit for the first one, then they charged my account again for a second shipment. I have a confirmation letter when the item was delivered and a letter stating the account had been cancelled way before they charged the account again for the second time. Company is a scam big time. Anyone reading this needs to file a complaint with your credit card and the BBB. Christine

Buyer beware of terms of trial offer. They offer free trial for 14 days and then charge you. This 14 days starts from date of order, not when you receive the product. If you intend to cancel and not incur additional charges make sure you call and cancel. Get names, net cancellation number and find out where to return product and BY WHEN. Then go to your post office and make sure you are getting a RECEIPT back which confirms the return was made with a date of delivery. I cancelled on time, returned the remaining product 2 whole days before I was told it had to be back or I would be charged and I still received the charge on my credit card. When I called I was told, yes you cancelled but you needed to return this. My guess a lot of people aren't following the written rules. When I called them on this by telling them I did indeed return this on time the representative hesitate and asked for the tracking number. I provided and was put on hold for several minute. He returned to tell me his supervisor had authorized a refund to show up in 2-4 days of the $39.95 additional charge. I'll make sure this shows up and if not, file a formal complaint with my credit card not to pay. I have his first name, his employee ID number and documented date I spoke with him on this refund. IN OTHER WORD...KEEP DOCUMENTATION. If they don't follow-thru I am confident that I will win this charge being removed from my credit card in the end. My reason for return. I saw no results or effects from taking the product. My opinion - it's all hype.

I ORDERED THE TRIAL SIZE ONLY FOR 4.95 ON 11-12-08. MY SHIPMENT ARRIVED ON 12-3-08 AND IT ALSO INCLUDED TWO OTHER PRODUCTS WHICH I HAD NOT ORDERED, AND WAS ALSO CHARGED A FEE OF $44.85. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CALL THE [protected] NUMBER TO NO AVAIL. THIS ORDER IS COMPLETELY FRAUDELENT AND I ALSO BELEIVE SO IS THE COMPANY, AND THE PEOPLE REPRSENTING IT. THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE ON A THIRTY DAY FREE TRIAL BASIS, ONLY TWO DAYS AFTER I OPTED FOR THE FREE TRIAL SAMPLE, MY BANK CARD WAS CHARGED THE AMOUNT OF $44.85. I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK AND WOULD LOVE TO GET HOLD TO OPRAH AND LET HER KNOW THEY ARE USING HER NAME AND PICTURE TO RUN THEIR SCAM BY!

I was interested in the product Acaipure to cleanse my digestive system. Since Ophra endorsed
Acaipure I felt secure that the product and the company were credible and reliable.
Since my trial I was unable to get any response from their customer service.
I responded in numerous e-mails to cancel all further deductions to my credit card by going to
www.getorderhelp.com. I have sent over twenty e-mails with no response. I have tried the toll free numbers---[protected] more than 30 times. The answer is Acaipure but the call waiting
goes on and on with never an answer.
I have my credit card statements showing all the transactions and I would like to join any pending lawsuit regarding this scam...so please advise me further. Obviously I have to go thru the trouble of canceling my card and getting a new one to avoid any further deductions.
I have forwarded this same fraud information to Oprahs web site and am waiting for a response.

Placed an order for trial product of AcaiPure on 11/5/08, recieved order on 11/14/08, called in to cancel membership that was to start 14 days after recieving product, Well before date was up, cancelled order on 11/17/08. Recieved a cancelation number, was told everything was cancelled. On 12/2/08 recieved a charge for 39.95 for additional product.
Tried email address, no longer good. Called was on hold, was told wait time was 57 minutes and 48 seconds, I waited for 66.08 minutes someone finally picked up. I personally think this is done on purpose so you can not get threw.
Reps name was, Paul A, he would not give further info about him. Asked for Manager or Supervisor, was told this call did not require that.
I told them my situation, told them thier email address was no good, to give me a good one, he said that is a good address. He was only able to give me a $20.00 credit. As I read him the AcaiPure Risk free Trial Offer and Conditions, I was told that was not thier disclamer. This was printed from thier web site. This company must be making a billions on dupping the comsumer. I will never again order anything from the web again. This happens way to often.

I ordered a supposed "free trail" $4.95 but was sent the free trail plus a bottle of Hoodia water & gum and charged $44.85 on 9/12/08. I was never sent anything else, I didnt return because it was so much trouble plus huge restocking fee. today I was checking bank account and found were they charged me $44.90 again on 11/3/08. This is fraud, I didnt authorize and now cannot reach them by phone, their # says 55 minute wait. I've tried emailing to no avail and am now going to call my bank and the BBB and report them.

I requested a Free Trail offer from AcaPure. However, The company continued to send me monthly shipments. I tried to contact them numerous times and could not get thru. One time I call them and they stated it would be a 90 min wait and I waited on hold and then someone picked up the phone and hung it up. This went on for 5 months . I spoke to my credit card company and they stated that I have to resolve it with the company. I finally got in touch with someone at this company and they stated I could not return the product it is past the 30 day... Well of course it is because I could not get thru to them to cancel this order and return it to me. I paid close to 40.00 each for this and still have them in their own packaging... He agreed to just credit my acct 15.00 per 5 months however I still feel all charges should be taken off my credit card acct.

These pills and products ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WORK. Plus, they say it is a free trail, $4 or $5 for shipping. Then it asks if you want additional products for about $40 - if you SAY NO, IT SENDS THE PRODUCTS ANYWAY. Then it CHARGES YOU AUTOMATICALLY EVERY MONTH, even if you send the product back un-opened, with the Return Authorizaion number and all the documents it requires, and the bottles unopened. EVEN IF YOU CANCEL, IT CONTINUES TO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. EVEN IF YOU DISPUTE IT WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY, IT STILL CONTINUTES TO BILL YOU. THEY SHOULD BE IN JAIL.

Ordered a "free trial" of product for $4.95 shipping only cost. Told by phone I would be recieving the hoodia and Green Tea for $1.00 more. I was given 2 weeks to try and then could call and cancel which I did. I receieved confirmation of my cancelation, but was not informed that if I did not return the remainder of the products all three I would be charged 38.95 30.95 and38.95 for the free trial that I recieved.
Can this be legal? Please advise!

I also was overcharged for Acai Pure. I ordered the "free trail sample" for S&H charges only of $4.95, but my account was charge $44.85. I was unable to get through to the customer service dept. and got no response to my email. I had to cancel my credit card to keep further charges from being applied. I did report this company to the Ferdeal Trade Commission and the Internet Fraud Divison of the FBI, and since this company had Oprah Winfreys face on their website I emailed her also. She needs to be aware that a company that is claiming she endorses their product is actually ripping people off.

I tried this product for a little over a week and then there was parts of my body that broke out in bumps. I then began itching terrible. I then stopped taking the produce that was over a month ago and I'm still having trouble with my skin being infected. This company keeps charging my PayPal and they havn't sent any more products even though they charge me for them. I do not want them to send me any more and I don't want them to take any more money from my account.

This is a rip-off company! I never opened the bottle of product, and when I asked to return it, I was told to ship it with a delivery confirmation. I was told I would not be charged, except for the $4.95 shipping and an additional 15% restocking fee. A significant price to pay for something I never even opened! I was also told that I should call back to make certain the product had been received or I could give them my delivery tracking number so my credit card wouldn't be charged. Surprise! They charged me anyway! When I called, the young girl told me I would have to wait until they actually received the product before any refund would be made. I explained what I had been told, but she couldn't do anything, she said. I asked to speak to her surpervisor or manager, but was told that the next person in command was the president of the company and he doesn't take calls. So this is a VERY small operation. So much for customer service and honoring good business ethics. I can't vouch for the product but knowing "apples don't fall too far from the tree, " I can only assume the product is worth as much as the company's customer service and business practice. I still haven't received my refund and now have received another shipment, even though I cancelled the membership! I urge everyone to consider very carefuly the companies you do business with. I regret I didn't take my own advice!

I went online to purchase the Acaipure product and was supposed to be charged shipping and handling $5.95. I just happened to check my bank account online to find they drew $44.50 from my credit card. Fortunately, I had the money in the account to cover the draft, but I want compensation for charges that were taken without my consent. You do not get any confirmation or anything, no way to track item and I am concerned this may be a continuous withdrawal. I am still searching for a phone number to talk to a person to get this resolved. I refuse to talk to their automated system!

I ordered the free 30 day trial and was only supposed to be charged 4.95 for shipping and handling then about 1 month later a 45.00 charge showed up and I thought ok maybe I miss understood something and I now have to pay for the product since I kept it, so i let it go. Then I just got a new charge again for 45.00! I have now been charged a total of 94.95 on my credit card when the only thing i agreed to was a 4.95 charge for the first order for the shipping and handling. I have called them and sat on the line for nearly an hour and then was allowed to leave a message which i did requesting they do not send me anything else and that i want the orders stopped. I receive an email saying am i sure i want to quit the product? They said that for best results you need to take the product for at least 90 days. Then it was written however if you do not want the product anymore do not respond to this email and that will be your comfirmation to your cancellation. I am very disappointed with this company and I would not recommend it to anyone. Further more I have been taking the products and i do not see much of a change in my body other than I have loud ringing in my ears and leg cramps? Anyway I am glad i found this place to vent. thanks

I ordered the $4.95 trail of Acai-Pure Supplements from Acai-Pure.com. There phone line is located in Phoenix, AZ. After receiving and speaking with my physician, he told me to absolutely NOT take this product and return it. I called the company and told them I was returning it and they gave me instructions on how to return by confirmation delivery method at the Post Office. I still had time for it to arrive. I did this and called them on the day the post office told me, and I saw that it had arrived at 8:06 am. I then later looked at my online banking and found out that later that same day, I was charged $39.95 for the monthly supply of the product.

I don't know how to get to anyone to resolve this product. It was returned to Fulfillment Center, Attn: CCN returns, 12399 Belcher Road, Suite 140, Largo, FL.

The more I have called, I have just been hung up on.

How do these scams stop?

I want this service cancelled! I have called the [protected] several times without success. I have three bottles of this crap and no RMA number so I cannot return the unopened bottles...what a racket!
If I don't get a response to this complaint in 3 days I will be contacting the State regulatory commissions for both Indiana and Arizona.
