I spoke to a supervisor / manager. His name was Isaac and he kept repeating him self avoiding answering my questions. I was asking him to confirm a delivery of a package; a returned item mailed out on January 9, 2010 Saturday and according to the USPS tracking number delivered on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, 11:08 am, in HOLLYWOOD, FL 33020. As his forerunners (I spoke to 3 of his subordinates), he also wasn’t able and/or willing to confirm the delivery, telling me that it most likely was delivered in the Return department, however since this is customer service department they’re unable to have the knowledge of what and when has been delivered into the Return department, sounding almost untrue that their software they’re all working with has no such capabilities. Apparently, all I can do to expedite the process is for me to go through another troublesome task of faxing them (customer service) the delivery confirmation receipt from Usps, which he then takes to his superior in the refund department who will confirm all the data on the receipt and when everything is confirmed, then the process of refund will start which however can take up to 7 business days, quite the contrary from previous information received from Eric, another customer service rep I spoke to on Friday January 8, 2010, when I first called to inquire how to return the item. This company doesn’t deserve to have any customers and I only hope that others are and will realize it too, and that this is not the way to make business and treat potential or current customers.

I bought the products back in July 09. Was charged 174.00. I can to Cancel before the "14 Day Trial" ended.
Was told that the trial had been over for about 3 wks. SERIOUSLY! I received the product like a day before the 14 day trial ended...
They would not give me a credit. I am still fighting. Filed a dispute with my bank, so they are working to get my money back. Also filed a complaint with The BBB...

Wow this never happens to me...but it did. I got in on the second ring [protected]) today, 12-18-09 at 8:40MST. The man took my information, found my account right off. Then surprisingly he cancelled (or said he did) all future orders or billings to my card. Now david seemed like a very nice young man, was very helpful, and seemed to go out of his way to please! I having served many years in law enforcement left with confirmation number in hand and a hollow knowing my credit card would never see another charge by FWM Labs...Right...We'll see come next months posting...oh, I called US Bank and contested (warned and cancelled in advance with the fraud department) anything further from FWM Labs. I am often seen as a patient person. But consider my surprise to be charged for products that I was assured over 40 days ago that were cancelled and will no longer be sent or billed to me.

I have once again called customer service and requested a refund of the charges made against my credit card. In addition, I will be referring the company's conduct to the Better Business Bureau.

If the actions of the company, that is billing me for cancelled products, do not desist, I will have no alternative but to lodge a complain with the Feds for fraud.

PS. the packers should be more careful. I got the colon cleanse in the Acai X3 container

I'm not sure if this will attach itself to "ArtW, " so I am making mention of it at the outset.

"ArtW, " after taking all that money from you, I am sure they were professional and effective; after all, you probably gave them a return on investment of maybe 50- or 75- fold. Given the nonchalant attitude and the self-blame for nothing working, I really suspect that "ArtW" is actually being a foil from the company to blunt the flood of comments. Notice the intentional faux pas of "fine prints"; yeah, We The Fleeced are being stroked...

BTW did you notice how quickly they took down the "Oprah recommends" when she and that M.D. announced they'd be suing for misrepresentation. The truth is, indeed, Out There.

I reported detailed complaints to a Federal agency recommended by someone early on. I recommend that all of you do so; when there are "enough" complaints, the Feds will make a move, so the quicker you file official complaint, the sooner the near-fraud will be stopped.

I have been on the products - Acai X3 and Life cleanse - for about 9 months. I do not see any weight loss. Then again, I am not exercising nor eating the recommended foods. So in all fairness, I am not in a position to say whether the products worked or not.

What I can confirm is that I was charged the introductory price of approximately $4. and my card debited each month, like everyone else, close to $160. $79.62 for acai X3 and the naturedetox for $78.63. That is what the fine prints are all about.

I called after 9 months to cancel and had absolutely no problem in doing so. FMW Rep was very professional and effective.

I was also ripped-off. It was well over a week, more like two, for product (Life cleanse) TO arrive. I had ordered colon cleanse. I was under the impression that a trial period would last as long as the product lasted since they changed the name on the order. I had only had the product for a few days so how could I determine if it worked or not. however, they where quick to bill me. I will cancel the credit card I used for this order. thanks to this website for letting me know how FMW Labs operate.

I ordered this product for a free trial. As I am a senior citizen with a wieght problem I thought it best to talk to my doctor he said dont take it, so I called to cancell. Before you know it there was was 2 charges for Acai Berry on my account for a total of $174.26 which made me over drawn at the bank. The bank called me to let me know what was happening as I am on a fixed income. I called the company several times was told different stories everytime as to when the money would be refunded I returned their pills the extra bottle that they sent which I did not ask for. They gave me a confirmation # but I am still waiting I have faxed them I have called them and even talked to them on line, nothing, my bank has changed my # but I would still like to have my money back.Is there anything that the BBB can do to help me.I am going to fax the letter that I sent to Acai to the BBB along with with a note hopefully these people will be stopped. I am from Britain, and I stupidly ordered my free trail of acai berry, paid the post and packaging...then about a month later had 73pounds & 73p taken from my account, I went to my bank to ask for help, I was told there wasn't anything they could do. I was told that if they were to do it again., then and only then it would be looked into by the banks fraud dept..Well should I be brave and wait, or do I cancell my card...rather lose my card, as not so easy to cancell it...I am a 60 year old dissabled gran of 6 fab grandchildren...who should know better living on disability pension...I am also very VERY angry.

The first thing that caught me off gaurd was the tri-fold. As a marketing person, I notices that is was done in very low quality and the pictures were very low resolution. Second I noticed no packing slip...nothing to rely on if you needed to send it back.

I called three times. EVERY time they went thru verfiying who I was and said they had my account and then started the gig of "hello? hello? hello?" Like they could not hear me. ALL THREE TIMES they did this and it was a different person each time. I went to www.myordersupport.com which they say in a recording on the phone on-hold message. I was able to cancel there thru live chat and I made them give me a cancellation number. Not sure if this is a real cancel or not. The site is not branded by the company which I find to be very strange. I also did a print screen of the page with the live chat box and confirmation number. They did not say they would send me an email confirmation, nor that I had to send the bottles back, but will anyway with a return receipt.

i have been trying for most of the day to speak to a real person...i'm on hold then disconnected. i tried their on-line site and i'm not sure if i actually successfully cancelled the account because it is no longer accepting my logins...that were sent to me from the company. frustrating is not a strong enough word for this.

I got sucked into this online scam by FWM Laboratories and it has also cost me over $90.00 . I ordered a FREE sample about a month ago and then was surprised to receive a second shipment of the product in the mail which I did not order. When I contacted the company, they informed me that I should have cancelled my account 15 days after the original order. This is not clearly shown on the web page where I placed the original order for a free sample. They were unwilling to reimburse the $87 charge to my credit card for the second shipment.

This company should be shut down immediately because it preys on people who are trying to deal with a serious health problem.

I have had the same experience with FWM labs as noted by the others. I live in California so when calling I was 4 time zones away from Florida. I realized that I was calling late in the day for Florida so I got up at 5:00 am in Calif and called [protected]. When the voice recording said to push #1 or #2 or #3 I pushed #3 to speak to the agent. I had to wait for about 25 min but Miguel did come on the line and gave me return information and a xxl #. We'll see if this really works. I am going to notify the BBB in Florida just to cover myself. I had already gone online to FTC.gov and IC3.gov.

Please try [protected], you will be on hold for a while don't give up and Customer Service will finally come on the line. My situation was very similar to most of you guys here and much to lengthy to put up here.

The bottle HAS to go back but it can't be empty, just leave a few in the bottom. That is the only way you will get a refund of charges, at least that is what she promised me today after getting an RMA number for return.

I finally got assistance today after a two week hoedown at MY house. I'm returning the bottle unopened tomorrow via Priority with signature required. I found after I got the supplement, I can't take it anyway. If you have certain medical conditions listed on the bottle like High BP, Thyroid etc instructions caution not to take it. It's a shame they don't put their product cautions on the website so you know whether you can take it or not BEFORE you buy.

Here is their company website http://fwmlaboratories.com/

Hope this helps someone, it's been horrible for me! Never Again!

I have the same bogus charges on my account and can't seem to get through to anybody. When I do get through, I am mysteriously disconnected. My account was charged over $80.00. I will take the advice of some of the postings I've read & cancel my charge card. I can't afford this. I will also report this to the BBB in my state as well as Florida. All of us should be compensated at least 5 times the money we lost for the aggravation.

I can not beleive this. All the numbers that you guys were able to provide are out of service. The [protected] is ALWAYS busy. The [protected] is out of service. The [protected] is a number to a rewards center. They do give you the option to connect to a 1800 free 411 to find the name of a company or a product that you are looking for. I am so tired you guys. It is 1 am eastern time and I have had it. If any one comes up with some real legit numbers please post it. Next step for me is the BBB. And come Monday I am re-calling my back and reporting these people as fradulent business and I am gonna take the advice of many and shut down my credit card and reapply.I will never shop on line for ANYTHING ever again! I'm tired of running around in circles. It is literally making me sick to my stomach. I wish this on no one. Be safe- Be cautious people. God Bless

[E-MAIL SENT TO billing@fwmlabs.com YESTERDAY. I kept screen shots of order form, date can be determined in file info. A main point to note is their violation of their own fine print.]

I have diabetes which has been well-controlled since I developed it 12 years ago, but at the time I ordered the Trial Offer the diabetes became harder to control.

I made the order for the Trial Offer on June 18. My doctor has a very heavily scheduled appointment list and I could not get an appointment until June 23, 2009 -- FIVE days after the Trial Offer was ordered and paid for.

At my doctor's visit I followed the advice on your literature and asked him whether it would be OK for me to start using it. As I just mentioned, the M.D. appointment could not be set up until June 23.

On or about June 16 I received a call from your order department informing me of the automatic charge and shipping of another 30-day supply as the original 30 days began to run out.

However, on June 27 I received the second shipment. I checked my charge card account and saw that you had charged $39.95 on June 23, 2009. June 23, 2009 was only FIVE DAYS after the placing of the original Trial Offer order.

I saw that your website listing of Terms and Conditions informed the buyer that FIFTEEN (15) DAYS after the initial Trial Offer was made I would be automatically in agreement with the Terms and Conditions.

So: FIVE (5) days after making the order for the Trial Offer I was charged and shipped the product that was NOT SUPPOSED TO BE CHARGED UNTIL THE FIFTEENTH (15th) DAY.

AND, on that same day, my M.D. advised that I NOT start taking the Acai Berry Detox until we get this sudden loss of control of diabetes back under control. Obviously, then, there is no medical possibility of my needing a second 30-day supply when I can not even begin taking the 30-day supply that came as the Trial Offer.

In addition, you violated your own terms and conditions.

I want a full refund.

I have not opened the second shipment.
I have spoken with my bank as to what I can do about the charge you made in violation of your own Terms and Conditions, and, since you have already taken the money, they suggested that I write to you first to see what kind of adjustment you would permit.

At the same time, given the irregularities and lack of concordance of your actions with your stated Terms and Conditions, I feel it is only right for me to send copies of this email and the files I have saved of my original order and your Terms and Conditions to both the Federal Commerce Commission as well as the relevant offices for the State of Florida (which I will find after sending this) and to an attorney I have at Shutts & Bowen in Florida who is already working on another case for me involving people in Florida. (I just went to the FCC's complaint site and see that I have to make the complaint through their online process, so I won't be CC'ing them just yet, either.)

I await your response.

I just finished speaking with a customer service rep at FWM. They have an automated system and it canceled both of my subscriptions immediately--it picked up the line after only three rings. I had subscriptions for ACAI Berry and Resveratrol. I just ordered them two weeks ago and got both free bottles. After the subscriptions were canceled I spoke with a CSR and she confirmed for me the subscriptions were, indeed, canceled and gave me confirmation numbers for both. All was very efficient and prompt. Now I will see if they follow through. The customer service line I called was [protected]. Seems the best time to call is at night around 9 -10 CST.

I also fell for this scam. I called the BBB of FL and they said the company has not responded to over 15000 complaints and that there is nothing we can do. I did contact my credit card company and they did note the cancellation #, but can't do anything about the initial charges. Cancelling your card does no good, they are actually using the authorization code given to them when the trial was ordered. All I can do is watch for more charges and dispute them. Doesn't sound right to me?!

On March 7, I also ordered Acai Berry Detox from FWM. It took a week to get the product. In the mean time I was diagnosed with a few large fibroid tumors in my uterus and i could not even think about starting to take it. I had to have a total histerectomy on March 19. After coming home from the hospital I noticed the billing on my card and called immediatley to cancel. They kept telling me that I didn't call in the 2 week period and they would cancel my future orders, but would not refund the current product. I keep telling them that I wasn't even thinking of them in this 2 week period due to my health. I feel this FREE product that they advertise is misleading and deceptive and is not free at all. We all pay. I was trying to take this product since they already charged me, but I am returning the remaining product to them, because it makes me nauseas thinking about what they do to consumers. I have called the two numbers posted for FWM Laboratories and one has been disconnected and the direct number has a voice message saying that the mailbox is full and cannot accept messages! This is a scam. I keep having them take money directly out of my account, and never receiving product. When I speak to someone in customer service, they say my account has been cancelled and a refund request is in the system. That has been almost 4 weeks ago! I am now contacting my Attorney General's office to investigate this scam and have also contacted my bank. BEWARE! You may lose more than just inches...

I'll admit I really screwed up this time by ordering a free trial. Will know better next time. These people really know how to give you the run around. Like the others letters above, I was charged (87.13 twice) before I received my free sample. I'm now throwing all this free stuff away. They still owe me $174.26, but I do get many promises. The toll free # [protected] will get you a heartbeat to talk to.

Yes, I was scammed too by FWM for the trial Acai Berry. I ordered the trial on 12-30th, received it on 1-12. Called to cancel the trial & any further shipments on 1-13th - received a confirmation # for the cancellation, thought everything was all good, but I was actually billed 3 days later on 1-16th for $87.13 plus a separate charge of .80 cents - after I'd cancelled 3 days prior! I had actually cancelled on the 15th day & I had 15 days to cancel! What a scam! I had called these reps. no fewer than 7 times to request a refund and this is what I was told on different occassions: They don't know how long it takes for refunds to be processed, it's handeled by the 'Refunds Dept.' and there's no telephone # for that dept., only an e-mail address. Was given 2 different e-mail addresses for the 'Refunds Dept' - emailed both a total of 4 times w/ no response. The various reps. continued to tell me that the subscription had been cancelled & the refund was in process. When I finally got thru to a 'supervisor' on 2-1, I was told the the refund had definitely been processed & I should expect to see it within 10 days & if not then I should contact my bank. The supervisor was very short & had a rather nasty attitude on the phone too. Well after I hung-up w/ her, I called my bank & filed a fraud report. My bank told me that they'd gotten so many reports of fraud ~ 'Acai Berry' orders. The bank did reverse the charges & told me that the company had 45 days to respond. The company told them that I'd had 14 days to cancel - that's a lie because I printed paperwork off of the website that says I have 15 days to cancel!

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM! The #'s previously listed in the above posts DO NOT WORK - 1 has been disconnected, the other mailbox is full. I was glad to get the BBB # in FLorida that was listed - [protected] and actually talked to a live person after a very short wait & filed a complaint. I had already filed a complaint online w/ a BBB there, but didn't here anything. I just hope that these people are shut down & with a quickness!

This is outrageous that anyone would do this, especially in this economy. I order the "free sample" & they charged my account $3.95 & $4.95 for shipping & handling & then 8cents for "international" something. My sister stopped by right after I ordered & said she heard bad things about this & they would begin charging my account & not stop. So I called back immediately & told them I wanted to cancel everything & they gave me a confirmation number. Then...today 2/23 they charged my account $87.13. Same story as everyone else...I've been on the phone all evening trying to get a credit to my account. Saying I got a run-around is a complete undersatement! I told them I cancelled & gave them the confirmation number & they said they don't even have numbers like that...mine was 5 units, 1 of them a letter...they said their confirmation numbers are 6 digits...so they gave me a 6 digit number to cancel future shipments & said I would be getting a refund & I know as sure as I'm sitting here that I won't get it. I am going to file fraudulent charges at my bank tomorrow as well. Right now the amount is "pending" on my account but the bank won't stop the payment until these people actually GET MY MONEY! Hey, I may be changing banks too!

My husband is out of work right now & we don't have money to spare! Now I & many, many others are afraid to order anything from the web!

Someone has to stop these people.

I live in Cincinnati & not too long ago a guy named Steve Warshaw landed in jail for about 25 years - same scam from his company called Berkeley Nutraceuticals...THIS IS HORRIBLE...

Has anyone received a refund from these people? Email me direct at debiodell@fuse.net

I'm so glad I decided to do some more research on the acai berry supplement after I received my "free" sample! I am really upset that I didn't read the conditions of purchase - I normally do. But I have purchased samples of other types of products with no problems like this.

But I called the FWM Laboratories at the phone number that was on the back of the bottle [protected]. Although I had to hold for about 2 minutes, someone did answer and I asked to cancel their promotion, and that I only wanted the free sample. I'm not even sure that I called within the 14 days, so I hope I don't see a big bill for the stuff in my next credit card invoice! But the person I spoke to was cooperative and she went ahead to cancel the subscription and gave me a confirmation number.

If you had a return address, just send it back and Cancel your Credit Card. They will continue to charge up that Credit Card without your permission. Trust me, they will!
Whatever State you got the bogus product from, Call Consumer Affairs and the General Attorneys Office from that State and make them aware of it.
The FBI is aware of this.
Maybe even take some of that bogus product you bought and have it tested. You can use that against them since they will be throwing this at you "YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE FINE LINES."
It is not a Company you are dealing with! Just a bunch of Scam Artist that move from State to State to take you for all you've got.

Same thing here! Agree with all of you.

However, keep in mind that there IS fine print on the FWM Labs website, however, it is buried under TERMS & CONDITIONS, which states you are agreeing to a repeat order by ordering their "Free Sample". I missed it the first time.
Guessing we will all do better purchasing in liquid, organic form from GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. Nationwide retail outlets have clear and meaningful terms and way lower prices: my sample bottle of 60 caps would cost $11 - 19 bucks on their websites. in liquid form costs around $25. And frankly, I trust these large, established retailers to sell quality more than some small, unknown and phantom lab(s).
Apparently the real Scam here is the high costs to take advantage of this fad, and too many trusting consumers.

I was billed on 1-28 and got the products on 2-6. I wanted to lose 10 lbs and I figured out that I only need one bottle to get started. I decided to call customer service to enquired about billings etc. It took me almost half and hour of waiting on the customer service number [protected]. I finally gave up and call one of the number suggested on similar complaints and suggestions above.
I was again put on hold but only for 8 minutes and the customer service officer was very professional and informed me that my subscription was canceled as of today and I would not be billed and that I do not need to sent the product back.

************ PLEASE READ THIS ********************** I just looked up the ingredients in my bottle of PURE Acai Berry.. An Advanced Wellness Research Product. Here are the ingredients.

*acai berry juice powder 1200mg *... this has the asterisk. Now I go to the ASTERISK on the side and it says this. THESE STATEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN EVALUATED BY THE FDA. THIS PRODUCK IS NOT INTENDED TO DIAGNOSE, CURE, TREAT OR PREVENT ANY DISEASE, BUT IS RATHER A DIETARY SUPPLEMENT INTENDED FOR NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT.
* Daily value not established.

Here are the OTHER ingredients: Gelatin, cellulose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.

CELLULOSE is NOT digestible by humans!

Here are some definitions and links to the sites where it comes from. Do your own google search too!

CELLULOSE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellulose
Cellulose
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Cellulose is an organic compound with the formula (C6H12O6)n, a polysaccharide consisting of a linear chain of several hundred to over ten thousand β(1→4) linked D-glucose units.[1][2]

Cellulose is the structural component of the primary cell wall of green plants, many forms of algae and the oomycetes. Some species of bacteria secrete it to form biofilms. Cellulose is the most common organic compound on Earth. About 33 percent of all plant matter is cellulose (the cellulose content of cotton is 90 percent and that of wood is 50 percent).[3]

For industrial use, cellulose is mainly obtained from wood pulp and cotton. It is mainly used to produce cardboard and paper; to a smaller extent it is converted into a wide variety of derivative products such as cellophane and rayon. Converting cellulose from energy crops into biofuels such as cellulosic ethanol is under investigation as an alternative fuel source.

Some animals, particularly ruminants and termites, can digest cellulose with the help of symbiotic micro-organisms that live in their guts. Cellulose is not digestible by humans and is often referred to as 'dietary fiber' or 'roughage', acting as a hydrophilic bulking agent for feces.

Magnesium stearate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnesium_stearate

Magnesium stearate, also called octadecanoic acid, magnesium salt, is a white substance which is solid at room temperature. It has the chemical formula Mg(C18H35O2)2. It is a salt containing two equivalents of stearate (the anion of stearic acid) and one magnesium cation (Mg2+). Magnesium stearate melts at about 88 °C, is not soluble in water, and is generally considered safe for human consumption. Because it is widely regarded as harmless, it is often used as a filling agent in the manufacture of medical tablets and capsules. In this regard, the substance is also useful because it has lubricating properties, preventing ingredients from sticking to manufacturing equipment during the compression of chemical powders into solid tablets. It is used to bind sugar in hard candies. It is also a common ingredient in baby formulas. In pure powder form, the substance can be a dust explosion hazard, although this issue is effectively insignificant beyond the manufacturing plants using it.

When used as a filling agent in the manufacture of capsules and tablets, such as vitamins, the source of this ingredient is typically bovine. However, there is an increasing number of vegetarian options in which the product specifically indicates it contains magnesium stearate from vegetable sources.

Magnesium stearate is a major component of "bathtub rings". When produced by soap and hard water, magnesium stearate and calcium stearate both form a white solid insoluble in water, and are collectively known as "soap ###".

Silicon dioxide: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silica

The chemical compound silicon dioxide, also known as silica (from the Latin silex), is an oxide of silicon with a chemical formula of SiO2 and has been known for its hardness since antiquity.[1] Silica is most commonly found in nature as sand or quartz, as well as in the cell walls of diatoms. It is a principal component of most types of glass and substances such as concrete. Silica is the most abundant mineral in the earth's crust.

IS THIS STUFF SAFE..? NOT DIGESTIBLE BY HUMANS? THIS NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND I WOULD BE CAUTIOUS OF TAKING SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
I took it twice and each time i felt sick to my stomach!

Please pass this information along... I know better I should of educated myself before I made this STUPID purchase! I was looking and thinking acai berry..not a bunch of crap that is not digestible and a BIG MONEY STEALING company stealing funds out of my credit card account! These people should HANG for this! SHAME ON THEM! The state needs to step in and the internet and shut these people down. OPRAH, RACHAEL RAY and CNN need to put disclaimers on their sites that they do not endorse this type of activity! This is WRONG!
