This company is a total scam! Shame on me for not researching them enough. They will post a bunch of articles on their site about Acai Berry and colon cleansing products, which you think have been successful on such shows like, Oprah, Rachel Ray...but when you look closely its not even their product its an imitation. If that is not bad enough and false advertisement they also tell you its a free trial that you just have to pay for shipping. This is not the case at all. They send you a trial in which they do charge you, their catch is you can return it and get a refund. To make matters worse they send you a paper with the shipment saying you have to call and get a (Return Authorization number), this all has to be done in 15 days and it takes well over a week to get to you, and you can't get through to them on the phone or web-site. Finally, the biggest slap in the face is they automatically send your shipments every month and deduct it from your credit card without your consent. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM ACAI BERRY EDGE OR COLON 700.
Play close attention to the name because they are very close to reputable brands in the market.

does anyone have the toll free number for acai berry edge? there are so many different acai products out there- i am afraind i will be "ripped off" as well. when i tried to to to the website-after printing up my confirmation order-can't get back into the mainscreen about it-please help!

LOVE the product. Most people on this board seem to want a "quick" fix. The product takes time to work, and I have had no problems in dealing with GNS / Nutralane. They are always prompt and courteous when I call. To date - I have lost 20 pounds. Give it some time - some of our metabolisms take longer to get into the swing of things.

I tried to call the number they provided to get a return authorization number. They require this to return their product. I also wanted to cancel future shipments. The number is disconnected. The operator gives an entirely different number than the one that I dialed.

I ordered a free sample of the Acai Berry Edge I was told I would only pay $3.97 for shipping.
I have recieved the product and now they tell me the are going to charge my credit card $79.90
more for complete payment. WHAT'S UP WITH THIS !

gns inc carge my at 3-10-09, 79, 90 $ from my credit card for ACAI berry edge, but I never recive the product, I talks with they via telef and they gave my an cancelation nr wich is O-031304, but they never put my money on cred. card back

I was reading the invoice and I accepted the fact that I was charged $79.90 for the two bottles. Less than a month later was charged $69.00 for a product I have not received. I am pretty sure that on the invoice it said that I was only going to be charged $34.95 a month for the supplement. Believe me I will be calling and cancelling if I can't cancel with them then I will change my card number.

I read a lot of the scam postings after I placed and received my order. I too was unaware of anything other than the $3.97 s&h trial -- and was surprised to see a bill stating $79.90 would be charged to my credit card exactly 21 days after I placed the order. Instead of writing as others indicated they did, I called them and got their customer service department. I asked for a return authorization, which I got, and told them why I was returning the product. They told me as long as they received the product back before that 21-day window was up, the only thing I would be charged for is the $3.97 s&h charge. I also received a confirmation number to cancel the VIP club I never enrolled in. I was told to write the RA number on the outside of the envelope, include my name, address and email inside the package with the supplement. I went one step further and sent priority mail with delivery confirmation so I will KNOW it gets there in 2-3 days and I'll receive delivery confirmation of their receipt as proof. I will go one further step and call my credit card to alert them of this scam and to only authorize the one $3.97 charge from them. So if they try to charge anything additional, it will bounce back. I was also able to put a dollar amount alert on it.. so if any charge for $79.90 tries to hit, it will return declined as well.

Lesson learned: ALWAYS check out the product BEFORE you buy it; and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

my husband ordered it for free over the internet; ( they asked for our visa account, only if he wanted to reorder) product made him sick. They sent second product in my name, which we did not order. And they do not answer their phone to give us a return authorization number. We held on phone for 15 min. and no one answered; it was not a 800 number.4

I got my first order in April, and what with my mother going into the hospital, my losing my employment, I put off getting in touch with them. Then came the second shipment.

I went on the web, I found to site.

I will stop the charges, but other than that, I have no recourse.

i recently ordered a free trail sample of the acai berry edge product from the gns website. i was only responsible for the shipping fee of $4.09. when the product arrived the shipping slip indicated that i was a vip club member and that my order would not be complete until my credit card was charged an additional $82.22. i at no time joined there club nor did i authorize an additional charges.

after days of trying to contact the company by phone (only to get a busy signal or no answer at all) i phoned my banking institute and put a block on any future charges from their company.

i emailed gns indicating the info above and requested they take me off of their vip club membership and to respond to the email to confirm. i have yet to get a response.

by the way, i have been taking the free sample (?) product for 3 days now and i have yet to feel any extra energy nor have i lost any weight even though i am following the instructions that were enclosed with the product.

note to self...nothing is free. this company should be shut down and forced to return all monies that were given to them!

I have ordered from GSN before and have had absolutely nothing negative to say about the company. I used Slim Seduction in the past and am convinced that it had much to do with my successful weight loss. I ordered Acai Berry Edge to change things up a bit. I truly believe that the comment made above is correct...nothing works in a day or two...and most of us using supplements have probably messed up our metabolism's a bit! So, people need to be patient! I am looking forward to experiencing what Acai Berry Edge can do for me!

I ordered this product in Feb. 2009. I had a really bad feeling about ordering it so I googled "Acai Berry Edge Scams" and there it was... the truth about this company. I read that many people were having their accounts zapped for $79 without their consent or knowledge. I brought my account up online and my account had been hit 3x for the $3.97 shipping fee. I immediately began emailing and calling the 1-800 number given to cancell my order and get a return address/return number although I had not even received the product. I never received any answer regarding my emails and the one time I got an answer on the 1-800, it was an answering machine. I left a message including my order number and never received a return call. I went to my bank and completed an affidavid stating that I only ordered one time, not three. I also cancelled my credit card and got a new one to avoid the chaos that ensues with this company. I gave up trying to return the pills because believe it or not I have a life and better things to do!
Fast forward to one week ago and GNS is threatening to send my account to a collection agency. I have repeatedly explained that I sent emails (literally over 100) and I tried to phone. They want me to pay the full price of $79each for three shipments when I only received one shipment and I TRIED to return the product. The customer service reps have screamed and threatened me consistently. They are abusive and will not listen. SCAM SCAM SCAM stay away from GNS! SCAM SCAM

Well, I just got sucker punched with this product. I received two bottles when I can swear I only ordered one. I decided to still try it because of the 30-day money back guarantee. I realized too late that I had to return the bottles within 21 days and I would still be charged for two bottles. Of course this gives you no time to use the product long enough to see if it works. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Nutra Lane isn't a member of the BBB but there are numerous complaints on file and the BBB currently has an F" rating for them. Say no more and don't buy this product.

This whole thing is a joke! The post by June O'Connor is so true. Im fighting with them now over charges. I call today to cancel with them, i get nothing but the run around. When I first called them there was no charge on my account and cancel everything get my return number and everything, so iI think everything is ok. Wrong! I go back to check my account and just like that I have a charge for $79.90 on my account. Now how come when I first called my account was ok but as soon as I cancel I get back to my desk, pull up my account and now there is a charge on my account. So I go call them back and was basicly told that that charge been there all day long...lol ok...if you say so! So the first lady told me that I everything was cool, she even gave me a week to get the product back to them but in the background she was charging my account. So I call back and get someone else on the phone who just talked to me like I was part of the movie "Dumb and Dumber". Anyway I asked for a supervisor and with on click, "BAM" i had a sup on the phone. Now I work for one of th biggest cable companys in the US. I know that you at least have to explain to the sup the situation so they know whats going on, that at least takes a couple of minutes. So I then pickup that she just sent me to another rep on the floor cause she answer the call like it just came into the que. So I advised her that as soon as that money comes out that I will be disputing the charge and as soon as UPS opening tomorrow morning I will be shipping them there Product back. Oh, and I will be in contact with the B.B.B! Customer service is the worst!
