I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

these people are making a fortune off of peoples trust in the internet. this is going to affect the trust of the overall internet purchases . I will never purchase with a bank/or /visa card again "I will only use a pre-paid visa" thanks to the rip-offs of acai-nutraburst co. this is a complete scam! they are vicious people with no morals. Even if you read the terms and conditions you still cannot reach anybody to cancel. And they are liars to boot.

Hi

I have just received my account Visa and see that 2 products are charged to me and that I have never ordered them and never receive these products and I do not want to receive them !

Other amounts are also charged in my next account.

I want that you cancel immediately these illegals retreats of my account and in any more I have never received and do not want to receive these products.

I have phoned this morning to the numéro [protected] for the support to cancel all currents and futures transactions and eliminate my name of your files. I left it my numberphone because it is a telephonique answering machine.

I am very scandalised of your processes and shall not stay there.

I wait in the2 nexts days your confirmation of the cancellation of all the past operations illegally on my account and the unsubscription of my registration on your site on reception of this message.

i too was ripped off - same thing - before i knew it they sent bottle #2 and yes I was charged $83 + s & h for 2 bottles...i called to complain and requested a supervisor - after raising the the point of their unfair business practice and deceitfulness, I was promised a refund for both bottles if I retured them
i retured both bottles, 1 opened (my free trial) and 1 unopened, but was only reimbursed for one - I am not done yet after seeing them featured on the cbs evening news last night (7/29/09) I will be making further calls or whatever to obtain a refund for the other unopened bottle.

It is completely true - they are somehow able to continuously charge and charge your account though you have clearly cancelled the order. How is this legal? Advice - cancel your card immediately... OR they will just keep charging. AcaiAdvanced charged me 64.95 after I cancelled, charged after I was assured over the phone the order was cancelled. Unfortunately, they did not confirm this cancellation via an e-mail as did Live Lean. At leaste Live Lean verified cancellation via an e-mail so I have proof when I go to my bank.

They refuse to give CS Rep full name though these frauds have all of our information. Hate to say it, but shame on me for ordering. . . . .

ONE THING DID COME TO MIND - Who supported these banner Ads? YAHOO? Where did you see these ads for free trials and free samples? There is another party at fault here as well. I didn't search for AcaiAdvanced and I wasn't even interested in losing weight. BUT after seeing these banner ads over and over & over & over & over everytime I logged in and out of YAHOO - I got curios and looked into it. The Acai Berry as well as "a stay at home mom's secret for whitening teeth" (BriteSmile&Dazzlewhite - free samples pay for shipping only) after seeing this 100 times - I looked and bad on my part I ordered. I am definitely interested in who paid for these ads to reach me and entice me? Was in Yahoo? How did you become prey?

Hey everyone who got scamed. I ordered the Acai berry one day ago. then called today to confirm that only 2.98 was to be taken from my account. of course no body knew what I was talking about because they put up a false number. so i quickly called my bank and told them i had compromised my card, and canceled it. thats the best way to go. CALL YOUR BANK AND CANCEL CARD. hopefully i only get charged for 2.98. we'll see.

You will receive bottles until you cancel the membership for the product, in addition, make sure you cancel the Web Access monthly fee of 3.24.
I was able to successfully cancel the Acai membership by calling them. But the web access fee has a cancelled phone number. So, my advice is to cancel your credit card immediately.

CLARIFYHEALTHY - This is a total scam! I have had to cancel my deibt card - this will be the second card I have canceled! Ebay is the only way I know to order things! ARGH! What a pain! The last charge I disputed with my bank I lost, but at least I know you can get a new debit card. If you stop shoppin online altogether, besides Ebay, then this stuff will not happen!
How frustrating!

I am so upset about this company. They give you 15days to cancel during a trial period. I nevere received the product and had a hard time cancelling. I stayed on the phone for 45 mins before someone picked up. I asked how can you charge me $82.31 for a product I haven't received yet. I don;t even know if I like it. I made a compaint with the BBB on this company and hopefully something will be done to shut it down.

I did some background checks on the "Barry Folgers Inc." company and it is not registered with the Florida Department of State. The address we have all been given of 314 East Dania Beach Blvd, Suite 117, Dania Beach Florida, [protected] belongs to the Gail Belenger Foundation, Inc. The address given for the refund belongs to BW Marketing Consultants, TopBody Cleanse, FMW Laboratories, and Biolabs Skin Care LLC. The registered agent for Biolabs Skin Care LLC is GROSS, BRADLEY J, 3111 STIRLING ROAD, FORT LAUDERDALE FL 33312 US. The BW Marketing consultants also lists the address of 4961 LEEWARD LANE, FORT LAUDERDALE FL 33312 US, and gives a registered agent of: WEISS, BRIAN, 4961 LEEWARD LANE
FORT LAUDERDALE FL 33312 US. The most important thing I found was a phone number for the BW Marketing Consultants: [protected].

There are forms you can get from your bank to file against the company. if you did not give them persmission to take money out of your account you should be able to get the forms and Fill them out and have your bank mail them in for you and if they settle they should return your money into your account. or you can just have your bank issue you another debit card for your account and hopefully that will stop the people from taking out money.

I had this happen and they put 87.12 2 times on my devit card. i went to the company in Hollywood FL with no results, so I stoped my debit card and had the Bank issue me another one with different numbers. now they cannot draw on my account any more. Today I call the Better Business Burea and filled out a complaint and the attorney General Office in Ohio as thts the state I live in. I got the product today, before I got the trial 14 days. I am sending this back un-open with tracking # from PO for protection that they cannot say they have not got the #

This has got to stop so do the same thing until they are caught in what they do. it is crooked.

I ordered the trial of AcaiBerry Detox and paid the shipping fee. I received the product, and it didn't work at all. About 3 weeks later there was a charge for $87.13 on my credit card. Of course, no paperwork that said anything about how the trial worked was in with the product. I went back to the site and found in very tiny text at the very bottom of the site a link to terms and conditions. This was not part of the order process! I immediately called to cancel the order. Of course, you cannot get to a human but the recorded message said that it was cancelled and that I wouldn't receive any more charges. I look at my credit card statement today, and what do I see? Another charge for $87.13 along with some other "international fees." I haven't received my 2nd month supply either. The credit union says I have to wait 30 days from the date of cancellation to receive the product and if I don't, then I can do a charge back. Just so everyone knows, they put the charges through by different names on your credit card. So far I've seen expressberry, skyberry and rainforestberry. What a scam!

I agree 100% I ordered a 15 day risk free trial and sent the product back and they still charged me a membership fee witch was $79.22$ I told them I never wanted a membership and they said it was too late! They said they were going to cancel it and not charge me and 4 days later I checked on the internet banking and they charged me, so they lied! They will not refund my money either!

If I'm not mistaken, the company will charge you with the full amount only after 14 days of free trial. You could call [protected] to voice out your complaints. Cancel your account as soon as possible so there'll be no more unauthorized charges.

I also got suckered into this Acai berry stuff, i thought it was going to be something new to try a new way to lose some excess fat of me but little did i know that my checking account was going to be deducted n i get ripped off every month for these pills... What a rip off! Thanks to all your comments posted on the board was i able to get in contact with this SCAM, , but when i called in i was amazed at the service i was provided, the Representatives were so humble n kind i was soo MAD when i called up n was answered within the first 30 seconds of HOLD anywhere i had my account canceled got a confirmation email along with a cancellation number proving i canceled, and coming to the charges the agent without further argument agreed to refund me for just one bottle which was the last one! I had no option but agree because i had BROKEN the seal of the first bottle which was my mistake.. And today im a customer with Acai again and this company really proved me wrong whatever i thought about them was wrong.. They actually honored me back as a Loyal customer and offered me SPECIAL CUSTOMER DISCOUNT, , , im glad there's no more RIP OFF involved...

If you have any questions regarding the Product sample or Product subscription plan, please contact customer service at [protected] OR [protected] Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm PST.

Natural Acai Berry contact info! How could they possibly be a SCAM and also give out its CONTACT INFO... My research about the company gave me to understand that the product comes from the West Indies which surprised me at first but when i called the helpline i was told the product is from the Amazon.. So that felt okay and i continued on with the product getting myself a SPECIAL CUSTOMER DISCOUNT :-)

As long as you didn't input your credit card information, then you have no reason to worry about it being charged to your account.

However, if you requested a 'free trial', and had to put your credit card information in, in order to receive the product, then you may be subject to product charges as stated in the Terms of Service.

As I tell everyone else, if there are charges on your card that should not be there, contact your bank and dispute the charges.

Also, contact the customer service rep at the website that's (usually) provided with the product.

As far as the product goes, just slap a "Return to Sender' on the box, and send it back.

Hi, I am from Québec Canada and I also have been scam from Acaie Berry and colon cleanse. Have been trying to stop having charges to my Visa since 5 weeks. Have been charged with $200.00 yet.

Let me tell you it is a full time job getting to stop them. I have returned the 2 packages they sent me (registered mail of course which cost $12.95 each time) (make sure you get a signature at the end).

Finally yesterday, I had my VISA cancelled with my bank, since even with all the cancellation numbers they have given me, futures charges will be made to my credit card.

The only way to stop this, it is to advise your credit card and insist they close your account. Believe me...

I know, what a scam!

EVERYONE BE CAREFUL - DO NOT apply for a free 14 day trial of Acai Berry, it is the fraud!
Their web page for the order of free trial - where you only pay for shipment (yeah right!) comes in many shapes, they have many domains! For example: www.acaiberrysupreme.com

I have been trying to get rid of these thieves for more than 8 months!

Happened to me too! Oh my Goooooood! These people are ###! Thieves! Be careful everyone - DO NOT apply for a free 14 day trial of Acai Berry, it is the biggest fraud ever! I have been trying to get rid of these thieves for more than 8 months! Now my credit card company helped calling them and canceling the ''order of some services'', hope this time it works. I have been really frustrated since I applied for the stupid ugly Acai Berry pills, after I canceled all of the sudden they are charging me for some stupid price saver service for pricelimbo.com. Anyways, whoever stands behind this fraud: SHAME ON YOU!

I believe Resveratrol, ACBerry, Berry EasyMelts and Sky Berry are all part of a quickly growing fraud! I've found addresses in FL and TX claiming to be labs. The people who are responsible for such scams are nothing more than "bloated maggots" who suck money from unsuspecting consumers. I am one of their victims! Charges amounting to $500 dollars are pending in my credit card dispute.
It's in the lawyers hands and I will go to great lengths to see these
### prosecuted.
