I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

I ordered the trial $3.95. There was to be no other charge. When I receieved the product I had 15 days to return it or my card would be charged. I returned it well before the 15 days. My card was still charged.

We ordered this product off the television, and sorry to say didn't check their terms and conditions. I have now cancelled this product TWICE, yet still getting charged with their monthly.

When Companies like this come up, they will do anything to keep these products going, and can keep charging your accounts, until you totally cancel your bank accounts, and start over.

No one will help, and is a form of fraud, but trying to catch them is hard.

I ordered from Acai Berry their free trial offer and was asked to pay only shipping. When I recieved the product I was charged more than my online order showed and they sent me two bottles. Next I noticed that a large charge had come thru my bank, I found out that it was from Acai Berry and called them. They told me that there was nothing they could do, but they would take my name off of the list. They wouldn't do anything except to say that I now have to call my bank and dispute the charge and go thru a ridiculous proceedure to have my money back, this is a total ripoff I need that money so much for my children, I only asked for free samples I wish I never did this.

I got the free trial from viv3 labs for the life cleanse and the acai berry they said all i had to pay for was the postage. I just got my credit card statement and they have taken without my permission the total amont of $283.07 AUD. I have been trying to call and email but cant get them. This is the biggest scam i have come across. I have alerted my bank to not accept any more transactions from this company. I don't know how to get a hold of them and am not sure what to do next.

I ordered the trail acai berry for $0.95 and within 3 days I have been charged an additional $169.95 for a product that I have not received. I would not have ordered that product for such an enormous amount. My bank account is in the red and will be closed and I will be putting a stop payment with the bank. I called the phone number listed [protected], of course the agency is closed at this hour.

This company has free trials for many products. All you need to do is pay $3.95 for shipping and handling. I ordered Colon Cure and Green Tea 500. I received the products with a Customer Service slip of paper. There was not a Company name including or mention of canceling within 14 days to avoid being billed $89.31.

I should have known that something wasn't right when the last line stated, "Where here to help, Hassle Free, Guaranteed!", instead of "We're". When I called [protected], I was told that I should have read the terms and conditions. This is truly a scam. Beware!

This company ripped me off. I placed an order authorizing payment $87.13 from my account. The product arrived on the 9th day after purchase date. Window for returns: must be mailed within 10 days from date of purchase. I called and spoke to customer service representative who REFUSED to provide me with a Return Merchandise Authorization number. She told me to keep the product and that my request for a full refund was processed (and cancellation of any account they may have opened at the time I ordered the initial free trial) and gave me a confirmation number. She also said that she saw that they had only charged my account for the initial shipping payment (under $4) and nothing else. Soon after, within 2 weeks, there was the full charge of $87.13 listed on my bank account statement. I called another cust. srvc. rep from this company. Be warned, you are placed on hold for 20+ minutes each time and the CSR's sound like they are half way around the world; the line often cuts out and it is impossible to hear everything they say. The second CSR confirmed that he saw a confirmation number given me by the first person I spoke with requesting that the cancellation and refund be processed. He told me that I would receive a credit on my card. (As a sidenote, I could not hear him, and asked him to repeat the information multiple times. Apparently his patience is not very good, as he hung up on me.)

I filed a dispute with my bank account. I just received a letter from them stating that since this merchant would not accept the return of their merchandise, they could not assist me in receiving a refund. I am disgusted by this kind of lecherous scam. So if a company Refuses to provide a RMA or take back the product, (their return policy said to call for a RMA within 10 days of the purchase and a refund would be issued - apparently they are lying to all potential or actual consumers) they just get to keep the money? It sounds as if that should be illegal... advertising that they provide refund for returned product when they will not authorize returns! What kind of BS is that?

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. They will screw you over. By the way, you can get the same product (for which they charge $87.00) for around 10.00-15.00 in your local healthfood store. That was the reason I elected to TRY TO return the product.

If you have a similar experience, report it to the BBB!

I ordered the trial tablets tried to cancel and the number was disconnected of course by the time I disputed the charge with the bank because I couldn't get through the number the bank had was working. The company gave me confirmation number that I would get my refund then never did. I refused the shipment at the post office and they said that the tracking number on the product would work and that I didn't need a new one. Now the bank and the company are saying they never received the product. Yes the product they never should have shipped in the first place. The product they already said they would refund. You weren't given enough trial product to even see if it worked and then you weren't given enough time or the correct number to cancel. It is a gimic don't be a sucker like I was.

I also ordered the "free" capsules except for $4.99 shipping. Then I noticed a charge to my account. You can't get through to the company on the phone or online. This is an unscrupulous company. Do not purchase anything from them.

I went through the same but i got my money back. I called this tel.Number([protected]) and they said that they can calcel the future programs but not refund the $79.95. Thats when I threatened to sue them for unauthorized use of my account and the guy(who I could barely understand) spoke to a supervisor and agreed to refund my money and cancel "the program".

I too ordered the trial bottle for $4.99. I went to cancel the order and did not have the correct phone number, this was even after I had printed off the "terms and conditions" and used the cancellation number provided. After calling several numbers and explaining my issue one gentleman I spoke with gave me a number that ended up being a pizza resturant in a another state. It seems the only way I will be able to stop the charges is to cancel the credit card that I used.

I ordered the "free" trial from this company and was immediately billed $4.99 in shipping, but 2 weeks later, I still have not recieved the product. I called the 800 number to try to cancel the order. It seemed suspicious that all the recording said was "Thank you for calling customer service. Someone will take your call as soon as possible." No company name was ever mentioned in the greeting. After being on hold for 25 minutes, I finally just hung up. I doubt they even have anyone available to answer calls. I checked my bank balance, and nothing other than the shipping charge has been made by this company. I consider myself lucky after reading all the other complaints. But I have a strong suspicion that if I wait another 5 days a $79.95 charge will appear. My advice to anyone else who has fallen for this scam - cancel your credit/debit card! It is the only way to stop them from stealing your money.

I went online and bought the trial which I received. However about 1 week later I discovered a charge on my Crapital One VISA for $87.13 for product I did not order and do not want and never received. I called the company and they gave me a cancellation number after yelling at me about whether I read the fineprint. Now Capital One is sending me letters htat I have to prove to them that I did not get this product and what the cancellation terms were. I never wanted anything but the trial, I paid for the trial. I called within 1 week and cancelled and deactivated any account they created for me at ACAIXL and confirmed with them that the product had not been shipped and I of course never received it but have a nightmare now with Cap One.

Company offered free sample (S/h chgs only of $5.95, which we paid on 9/23) of acai berry juice, which we took. On 10/7 the company charged us 88.62 when we had made no further purchase. On 10/18 they charged us again, this time $94.57. We are contacting our bank for fraud protection.

Company sends free sample. You pay cost of shipping. Then they start shipping product every month without your permission and puts $79.00 plus charge on your credit card. No way to contact the. Website contact goes round and round. You can e-mail but no acknowledgement.
Many consumer complaints. Pr0duct is phony.

I have been attempting to call this number [protected]) for the past several days to cancel the shipping of the product. All I get when i call the number is a recorded message telling me that someone will be with me soon. However, I have not been able to speak with a customer service representative. With the first call, I listened to music for 20 minutes before hanging up the phone. The next call lasted about the same length of time before I hung up the phone. Third call last last about the same length of time. It is very frustrating not being able to speak with someone so the order can be cancelled. Last resort is to close the account so no further charges can be made to my credit card.

This company used to have a person to cancel orders, which i did - twice -with assurances this would be cancelled and charges taken off of my account; now they only refer to the gohelpnow.com website which is virtually useless. I contacted my credit card company and they discovered three more charges which were not on my recent statement, but will appear on next months statement. They are investigating and have contacted the bank of this company to dispute these charges. This is running into hundreds of dollars of unauthorized charges. This is a company that should be brought up on charges of fraud - plain and simple. You do not have my permission to continue charging my account and dont send any more of your horrible product to me.

I went to two websites and decided to try the extreme acai berry and ordered the free trial and i did read the terms and conditions and it said nothing on there about the 7 day trial for the fit factory for 29.95 and like many others when i tried to call the number it just kept saying all circuits are busy for about 8 hours, then i went to another website from that one about the colon cleanse and never ordered the free trial and in their terms agreement it said something about the 29.95 . I found a number [protected] and finally got it cancelled. Do not know if that was just for the fit factory or not. Gonna have to end up changing my bank account number for them to not charge me anything else. Scam scam scam scam scam !

I ordered a free sample of Acai Berry in August 2008. I did receive the free sample;however, I never agreed for your company to take 79.00 out of my account on a monthly basis. And to add insult to injury, I never received any products after the money was taken from my account. Please cancel any orders and return my money to my checking account.

Received a free bottle of product, only paid S&H as advertised. Did not authorize any further shipments or charges to my credit card. Company does not answer phone in order for me to get a return authorization for the return of the product. They continue to make charges to my credit card which are not authorized. I've contacted my credit card and disputed any and all charges from this company. They apparently are a complete scam and should be avoided.

What a RIP! This company advertised and I fell for it, a product for weight loss and health for a free trial. They sent me two orders (I did not intend to get but one) and charged me for my free trial a total of $83.70. The idea was to try it for free and then order and pay $41.85 which comes automatically every month. They have a phone number but after getting the recording telling you there is a 40 minute wait, you never can reach a live person. You need to get a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number or will not receive a refund. Also you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. I have emailed them but I am sure I will never hear back. I will never order anything from the internet again. I can't believe I have been "taken" once more.

I made a purchase of this product in Sept.08, paid for it and was sent more and charged my credit card without my consent. Tried to contact co. by phone but was never able to get anyone. My credit card co. was called and told to stop this transaction. the product was sent back, and co. was informed of what was to happen. This is fraud... These people should be investigated for false and misleading ads.

please be informed this will not happen again. I will never buy anything from this co. again..

This was a trick purchase. I was directed from an advertisement on a website I trust. This company offered a 30 day trial free for 4.95 shipping. The charge to my account was $44.95. They added product by bundling in a tricky way they said that I needed to unclick the other two products that were shown on the screen. I did not see any other products offered on the screen. They put me on hold for forty-five minutes and then said they would not cancel my order, because it was already processed. My bank activity shows it only as pending. It is going to overdraw my account because I only have $19.00 in it and the bank charge will be an additional $35.00. This whole purchase, that I won't recieve when it comes in the mail, will end up costing, $150.00 because I have two other checks out under $2.00 that I will have to pay $35.00 for each of these checks as well. What a mess! Thanks for the great offer Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. I will never click on an advertisement again. If I want something I will go directly to the source.

I had order what i thought was a trial version of a bottle of acai pure. For 4.95 over the internet and yesterday they took an extra 39.95 out of my account before my 30 days was even up i placed my order on 10/15/2008. So how in the hell is that 30 days. If anything they are a ###ing ripoff . Then before i could speak with anyone about the product or services i have to wait a whole hour. And then customer service acts like i did something wrong. For calling and inquiring about the unauthorized transaction. Never again...

I cancelled this order on 10-29-08 by telephone. I also emailed them on 10-30-08 just to make sure. Guess what, they sent out an order on 11-1-08 and charged my card. I call them back when i received this order and was told that they had no record of my phone call just an e-mail dated 11-2-08 and this was after the date they had shipped out this order. Guess what, i saved all their emails. So, i sent them back an orginal copy . I'm now contacting my credit card company and filing a dispute with them.

The complaints against CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS are not just about false or misleading advertising. A great many of these complaints are about downright theft and credit card processing fraud. This company charges peoples' credit cards without their authorization. That's a crime.

If the allegations are true, CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS is stealing from customers that provide their credit card numbers. It does this by refusing to acknowledge returns and cancellations, and contining to automatically bill customers even if they cancel their orders, return products, and clearly indicate that they do not wish to purchase any products. This is not just about misleading consumers. It is about THEFT and CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FRAUD.

If these allegations are true, CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS is engaging in CRIMINAL ACTIVITY that should be investigated by government authorities.

In the name of the public interest, if you have documentary evidence of the fraud, send it to your attorney general. The public deserves to know whether these allegations are true, and if they are, the perpretators behind this company should suffer the full consequences of their misdeeds, including if prescribed by our laws, a jail sentence.

Tried for 3 days calling these people at [protected]. the phone gives a quick busy signal then hangs up, right? or just simply disconnects. The guy i chatted with said their phone lines are peak busy all day and only open from 9 am to 6pm EST.
I was able to speak with someone via chat and cancel my order. the shipping was already billed but I never rec'd the product so i cancelled it via chat.
go to this website http://www.ebizprogram.com/cpage.aspx?name=contactus
I was told I would only be billed the 5.95 shipping so i guess we'll see.
I'll repost if I'm billed anyway...

Don't waste time on the phone, just copy and paste the link above and chat with someone.
