Abella Mayfair unauthorised credit card charge

I received an online offer from Abella Mayfair to try a free sample of face cream and agreed on Jan 4 2018 to pay the postage only A$5.19. I received the sample on Jan 19.
I now see an unauthorised charge of A$129.63 on my credit card. The company says that this was a ‘trial, which turns into a subscription' and they offered me a refund of US$30 then US$50, both of which I have rejected. The order number is:1931523. I consider this to be a scam and fraud, how do I get my money back please? I am able to provide email correspondence if required and have contacted my bank who are lodging a claim against this company.

Hi Triciahe.

This is a trial offer. You do pay the delivery charges and are given a limited period of time to try the product. If it doesn't function as claimed, you may return it -- no questions asked. If you decide to keep it, the nominal charges apply and further product will be sent to replenished the used amount.

Abella Mayfair unauthorised credit card charge

I received an ad on the computer about 1 to 2weeks ago for a sample cream ( 90 Second Wrinkle Control) stating it could be sent for the cost of the postage so I sent for it using my visa credit card. Today, on checking my bank details, I found that this company have taken the amount of $au126.59 from the same credit card without my consent. This is fraudulent activity on their part; I require a refund for this as it was taken illegally.

I agreed to a free trial of 2 products Rapid Wrinkle Control & Maximum Moisture where I had to pay for postage only $3.95 & $ 4.95 USD which I was happy to do. This charge was processed on the 14th November and the parcel arrived after this date. During the ordering process several pop ups came up offering me to purchase more and more at a discounted price I REFUSED every offer firmly believing I ONLY agreed to the free trial paying for postage only offer.On the 28th November 14 days later a debit appeared on my bank statement for 1 product, I rang my bank immediately and reported this as I had NOT authorised. Then on the 30th November 16 days later after my free trial order another debit appeared on my bank statement again I rang my bank immediately.I even cancelled my credit card so no more incorrect payments would get processed and had to wait until new cards arrived which was also a big inconvenience. I have only ever received what I believed was a free trial product. I received notification by mail from my bank today stating your apparent terms saying you would charge me 17 days later if I never notified you I didn't want to continue. The terms sent I can't even read properly without a magnifying glass so will be making contact with my bank again on Monday.Your company charged me earlier than what is stated as well as for a offer that I continually said NO. This is very mis leading and I will be continuing to fight this even prepared to close my account with my bank if need be.The file reference I have from the bank is [protected].Denise Simpson. I haven't been able to find the link I selected via Facebook which was quoting Shark Tank however believe you should be able to view this yourselves as supposedly it is a site you produced. I would appreciate some correspondence back please.

Abella Mayfair closure of my subscription and account

I opted to return your products (which I still have not received).
The 14 day trial period is about to expire and it will be automatically presumed that I wish to keep receiving these products. I have a total of at least 29 emails from Abella Mayfair consultants.

I am informing my bank to stop direct debits being taken out from my account to Abella Mayfair.

And request once again for my subscription and account be cancelled.
I have a mental illness and see a Psychiatrist every month (I can supply proof of this). This is causing my Anxiety and Clinical Depression to exacerbate making my extremely unwell.

Abella Mayfair incorrect charge

I have the same issue with others.

I been incorrectly charged for the "FREE SAMPLE" that I thought I only liable to pay for shipping.

Order Confirmation #[protected] Second Wrinkle Control USD 3.95
Order Confirmation #1927232 - Maximum Moisture USD 4.95
TOTAL SHOULD BE USD 8.90

I put the order on 5/1,
I had been charged for AUD 129.61 on 18/1

Please reverse.

Abella Mayfair unauthorised credit card charges

I have just seen my bank statement and noted I have been charged $127.74 and $115.24 on the 10th January 2018 and the 12th January respectively. I signed up for your free trial offer and paid the postage which I thought was a fair deal. The package arrived only two products and obviously have been mislead and was charged full price for them. I'm requesting full refund of $242.48 AUD within 3 business days, if not i'll be taking this matter to the fair trading board

Abella Mayfair - order id - ord5a45896a36252641520002 - unauthorised card payment

I got attracted with your Facebook advertisement for a free sample/trial of your product and was made to believe that I will pay only US$3.95 for the
shipping cost so I gave my credit card details .

Just received my card statement today which the amount of $3.95 was paid on Jan 2 2018. But to my surprise, there was another amount of US$99.95 that was paid on the same date which I did not authorise to be charged to my credit card.

I did receive 1 small sachet on the post containing -1 small plastic of your 90 second rapid wrinkle control. I havent used this item and will be returning as I am not interested anymore to try your product.

Please reverse the amount of US$99.95 as this is unauthorised transaction
and should not been processed by your end.

Abella Mayfair maximum moisture 24-hour day & night cream

on 2/1/18 I requested the free sample offer of Maximum Moisture cream from your website, on condition that I paid the freight charges' which I subsequently did.
Around 7 days later the product was received along with another product in the same parcel I had no knowledge of called ' 90 second rapid wrinkle control'!
On 2/1/18 my card has been legitimately charged $6.54 for freight from MMC.
Also on 2/1/18 my card has been fraudulently debited $5.22 for freight for '90 second wrinkle cream' which was in the same parcel!
Then; on 15/1/18 my card has also fraudulently been charged $118.01 for something called 'new look forever' which I have never heard of!
Then ; on 12/1/18 my card has been charged fraudulently $131.39 for something called 'smooth beautiful skin'
I hereby demand immediate reimbursement of all monies paid regarding this matter except for the freight charge of $6.54 for the MMC.

Abella Mayfair unauthorised charges to my credit card

Do not buy these products.
Stella Mayfair is associated with enlivened health llc.
This company will keep dipping into your credit card without any privatisation. Beware as the tried to debit my account for $130.
After purchasing their trial products. They will tell you that is all you will pay but will go ahead and take it from your credit card without authorisation.
My bank has stopped this transaction and this company has now been placed onto a fraud list.
BEWARE OF THIS SCAM

Abella Mayfair product trail

Abella Mayfair offer free trial products, which you can return within 14 days if unsatisfied. All seems reasonable, HOWEVER the 14 days begins from the time the order is placed not shipping or receipt of products. In my case I intended to trial the products but after completing the free trial section I was bombarded with ads so closed the browser thinking I hadn't finished the order. How wrong I was!

This is a total scam. No one can reasonably be expected to return products THEY HAVEN'T RECEIVED YET.

I purchased a free trial back in Nov 2017 (where I needed to pay $5.34AU shipping) & have today received a second shipment. This prompted me to check my credit card as I only signed up for the free sample & you have debitted me a further $136.17 on 7/12 & $141.35 on 8/1. I am taken aback and very disappointed that there are people in this world that take extreme advantage of people in vulnerable situations.I am also a victim of these disturbed people done for $119.16 and two days later, they took a further 131.93 $ without any Confirmation, order 1897924, 1897923. Just after Christmas when we can all ill afford it. You people have taken $126.59 from my disability pension WITHOUT notice or permission.
I agreed to a trial sample ONLY and agreed to pay postage ONLY !
I cannot afford this money or any other to disappear from my bank account.
You people are SCAMMERS and I will post this complaint publicly to warn others about your unethical business.
I need my money back so I can buy my groceries!
I will be contacting the Australian Dept of Foreign Affairs and the Governor General about this matter.
You people need to be shut down, or at the very least, banned from conducting business in Australia.

Abella Mayfair unauthorised credit card charges

On the 31 Dec 2017 I responded to an advertisement for a FREE trial of Maximum Moisture 24 hour day & night cream and 90 second Rapid wrinkle control and was advised I only had to pay for postage which I thought was legit considering the face behind these products is suppose to be a big name and well respected so I thought. I received these sample products and at the start I was only charged the postage.

On the 15 January 2018 I noticed that I have now also been charged for the full amount of both products totally $242.04 AU on my credit card which I never authorised and I did not intend to sign up for monthly shipments.

I would really appreciate this issue resolved and request a full refund of the unauthorised charges.

On the 11 Dec i authorised your company to debit my credit card $4.95usd for a sample of doeskin car today and $3.95 for a sample of pure skin
On 27 dec Dewskin debited my card $89.95 usd plus a tax fee of $3.51
Rapid pure skin also debited my card for $99.95 USD plus a tax fee of $3.95 usd. the dockets say direct marketing- continuity subscription.
these debits are unauthorised.
the product does not agree with me
i would like my funds returned to my card immediately and no more deductions taken from my account. if any product arrives i will return at my expense. if any more debits continue i will take further action

I ordered the trials on thew 31st December 2017. It arrived just today but what i am concerned about is Automatic shipping of more. I want to emphasize the fact that this was only a trial and if I want some I would order it. I want it made clear that any auto shipping of any product would be cancelled at once and to inform you that I don't have the money for it and may have to cancel my credit card so nothing can be taken from my account without further authority. I saw the 'free sample'I guess that's how they get you in.. I sign no forms, no agreement nothing. Woke up to find my money was taken out of my bank account. I demand it be put back. Abella Mayfair Unauthorized charges and unethical behaviour

I responded to a 'pop up' advertisement while purchasing a product on a legitimate site and was offered a 2 trial products for a small purchase price from Abella Mayfair. There was no mention of a 14 day trial period or further costs if I didn't contact them within 14 days, which is what this company has tried to tell me! Instead of incurring the initial cost of $5.37 and $6.73, I have had two further unauthorized withdrawals of $510.04! this is outrageous and very unethical. I advise anyone thinking of purchasing products from this company to seriously decide otherwise. It is very deceitful to do business in this way . I have always thought of myself as extremely careful when shopping online but companies like this ruin it for everyone. Please beware!
