AAMCO Transmissions bmw repairs

This group of workers located at this location has blatently lied and scammed me out right in my face. I paid for all work done to my BMW 2008 at the time of the quote. I would like this company to show documentation that they did the repairs. The cars stalled, broken down, battery drained since leaving the car at your company. Transmittion, Engine all these problems couldn't be because its a 2008 BMW. Have some decency to not rip off your customers, . Yes Paying customers.

AAMCO Transmissions transmission rebuild/ jerking on car

I dropped my car off about 3 weeks ago because my car was jerking. I was basically lied to from the beginning. I was promised one price 2, 309 and than was told it would cost 4, 200 when I told them no they said I cant get my car back with paying that even though they did no work. I got my car back after 3 weeks and 20 mins after driving my car was still jerking and doing the same thing. they did not fix my car and I want my money back! I am pissed and am going to file a claim in small claims court because another mechanic said I still have the same issue.

AAMCO Transmissions negligence

Vehicle was brought to facility on 10/11/19 at which time iwas informed a free courtesy check would be performed. Courtesy check consists of test drive, fluids check and overall inspection of vehicle. I was informed by LUKE Hoffman there was a internal issue with transmission and it would have to be removed for inspection 750.00 just to remove. I told Luke I had warranty on vehicle and transmission should be covered he inforemed if it wasnt they could rebuild mine for around 3500.00. After warranty said okay to claim they offered a reman tran withn3 mo/36, 000 mile warranty I said thats fine aamco refused it they said they would rebuild mine and I would have a 18 mo/18000 warranty I reluctantly agreed which by the way cost warranty company and myself more money three weeks later I had my vehicle back but wait ten days later my starter failed coincidence maybe NOT. Once again my warranty co stepped up and covered repair all they nrequired was a parts price and labor five minutes of Darren time which he streched out to over 24 hrs at which point I called operator at aamco and told her if anyone touched my vehicle I was calling the police upon arriving at aamco gill automotive center I asked for my keys Darren seemed surprised I thought we were doing the starter he said I told him iwas taking vehicle else where agiin I asked for my keys louder this time at which time I the customer was told now you are gonna wait I want my keys I said I was told I would have to sign out vehicle I replied I am not signing a thing (the vehicle was in same spot it had been never moved) Im gonna call he Luke Darren said fine I said I will tell him all about ho wi am being treated. Luke assured me that Brian was his best tech and my truck was in good hands. I explained to Luke that Darren was the employee I did not trust he assured my truck would be finished by `5:00 it was done at 6:30 Brian informed me no leaks all good to go! Two days later less than 50 miles engine failure I can no longer think this is a coincidence I texted Luke was not answering his phone at this time also I have all texts secure for law suit which is definitely coming. The next day I looked at vehicle with code reader 8 codes showed up after doing research I got a strange feeling and decided to check oil NOT A DROP. I asked my neighbor to look am I crazy I said he looked three times nothing after I told him about how I was treated he stated either someone changed oil and forgot to fill or someone maliciously removed oil. Once again I told Luke about situation its a mystery he said.. He then brought his tech to my house all on video by the way I was working my wife made sure they were aware the tech put in 4 qts oil and claimed it was full later determined to be another lie then proceeded to start vehicle Luke said we need to get it the shop to look at it I told him three mechanics told me not to drive vehicle he said they would try to drive it if not they would have it towed. The tech then proceeded to race down my street all on video sealing the fate of my motor Luke then stated we needed to call warranty co and have the adjustor look at it later Mike from corporate said that I thought they purposely drained oil to get warranty company to pay for engine I hadn't thought of that but sounds like agood scenario I said he later denied it but I have him on tape admitting he said that. Aamco customer service lied over and over again saying the owner would contact me Kash di not return one call just dismissed it not our problem we did not change oil he said to mike Oil was not changed IT WAS DRAINED! This facility AND aamco do not deserve to stay in business just check out the yelp reviews except for 5 stars from his relatives total scam many complaints against Gill automotive and aamco at this facility I am pursuing a civil suit against all involved hard to prove but evidence of ongoing issues is evident. I SHALL NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT!

AAMCO Transmissions their service, their parts, their guarantee and their lack of commitment to their customers

I have a 1996 GMC K-1500 4X4 that I have had Aamco in Auburn, WA service since I had purchased the vehicle in 2007. Tune Ups, Oil Changes, Brakes, etc. So, when my transmission began slipping, I took it in and agreed to have it replaced at a cost of $3600.00. The manager at the time told me there would be a lifetime guarantee on parts and labor. OK, so I failed to verify the warranty as I had taken advantage of the fact that I could trust him based on our relationship built over the past few years. Not only had my truck been serviced there, but my Corvette, my Subaru STI, my wife's Veloster, my friends Cadillac, and all my employees took their cars there also. I'd buy him and the crew lunch all the time, I thought they were a decent group of guys.

So, a couple of weeks later I got my truck back and drove it only a few thousand and a trip to CA. Upon getting to CA, the transmission started slipping and so I called the Manager in WA and was told he no longer worked for the company. Come to find out, I had no lifetime warranty for parts and labor but that since it was so new, I could take it to their location in Fairfield, CA to find out what was going on. Turns out the transmission they had installed was faulty and so they needed to replace the entire unit.

2 weeks later, I picked up my truck and brought it home. I drove it sporadically for a month or two (approx. 700 miles). At that time I needed to head back up to WA on business and stored the truck for almost 3 years. When I got back, I began to drive the truck again and noticed that the transmission was shifting really hard. About 200 more miles, for a total of 900 miles since they had replaced the unit, the Check Engine Light began coming on. I have a code reader and found that 3 codes were being thrown that all had to do with the transmission. Now, as the truck sat for almost 3 years, the warranty I had left had expired. So, after 900 miles and the truck sitting for 3 years, the second transmission Aamco installed went bad.

Upon calling their Corporate HQ and speaking to the complaints Department I spoke to a woman by the name of Melanie. I explained to her the situation and upon her request, sent her my receipts. She acknowledged receipt and told me she would see what she could do and get back to me the following Monday. Today is a week later and still no word.

After searching the web for Aamco and their issues, I have found that they are a company in dire straits with their very unhappy customers. It's the same old situation as the one I am experiencing. Obviously, the company cares nothing for their customers as they simply refuse to try to make right their faulty parts or less than service and are trying to get what they can from whoever they can and then run off with the pennies they have made. Not a very good way to do business by any means.

The service industry is a tough one to exist in. No matter what, you can't make everyone happy and the effort it takes to even try can wear out even the most seasoned businessman. But to give up even trying is ludicrous. Aamco is clearly a company that has no regard for those people who in essence pay their wages and some during a very trying time. It is very difficult to trust anyone within the automotive service field and a company like Aamco that does nothing but seriously take advantage of their customers really makes it even worse. My suggestion is to do your due diligence, check YELP, Complaints.Com, Google and be sure that whoever you decide to do business with at least have a reputation of acting like they care. Aamco blatantly does not care. They will take your money, when their parts fail, they will do their very least to fix it, when they can't they simply tell you to take a hike. Your warranty is expired, or it's going to cost you another $1200.00, or from what I have read there are even locations that will literally yell at you and hang up the phone.

Now, the location I had spent thousands of dollars on in Auburn, WA has completely closed their doors due to their inability to operate with any level of integrity at all!

This is a Nationwide Company with locations in Canada and Mexico and they don't even prescribe to the BBB. I guess it's primarily because they don't have the personnel to answer/respond to all the complaints they find themselves buried under!

It's bad enough that the first transmission went out. Then the second one goes out, then they don't even have the common decency to even keep their word and get back to me after they said they would. What, may I ask does that tell you about them?

So now, when they could have very easily prevented the bad press by spending a couple of hundred dollars to get priceless advertising from a very happy customer, from now on, Everyone I speak to, everyone in my company they speak to, everyone I know that they speak to will be sure to let those people that they all speak to what a horrible rip off Aamco is, and unless they have excess money to waste, go somewhere else! I really hope it was worth it to them!

AAMCO Transmissions i'm complaining about how unprofessional your workers are at this shop

I had my transmission worked on back in February and had nothing but problems, that I had to bring in back cause they didn't put new seals when the reinstalled it.Now its back in the shop cause I lost my transmission on my way home from work.Every time they tell me they'll call me with an update on my vehicle they never do it's always me calling them.My vehicle been in their shop for almost a month now and it's getting very aggravating since it is my only vehicle and have no other way to get around. They didn't even have the decency to call me to tell me they had a set back when putting my vehicle back together I had to call them to find out what's going on since I was told it was gonna be done on Monday the 16 at 2 and it wasn't. I just feel I should be compensated for the amount of time they've had my vehicle, I feel if it was done right the first time I brought it in, I wouldn't be going through this again.

AAMCO Transmissions transmission repair services

Turnersville AAMCO
Stopped at shop and met manager and engine builder in September 2017. Had good meeting and was verbally given two estimates of $2600.00 to $2800.00 (low) and $3200.00 to $3400.00 (high). Had car towed and went back to shop. New manager/new owner/new estimate/reduced warranty. Not a lot of options so had them fix and cost with all extras was $4500.00. Picked up car and later had issues with catalytic converter. Took back to shop and they fixed it. Asked for receipt and manager said no receipt available because work done for free. Mileage: 64, 161.
Problems continued with catalytic converter and had serviced locally. Was told by mechanic catalytic converter was repaired without using any gaskets. My cost: $133.23.

AAMCO Transmissions orlando fl, 32808

To whom it may concern:
September 6, 2019
My name is Dieudonne Leonce, and the reason that I decide to file this complaint is the fact that I have an issue with the branch Manager, Stanley D. Key, 5527 West Colonial Dr, Orlando FL 32808. What is this issue? Three weeks ago, I have brought a 2005, Jeep Grand Cherokee for transmission diagnostic because I have changed the transmission twice, but it did not change the way it supposed to do. Stanley told me that to do diagnostic, the cost for the diagnostic is $ 64 plus tax, I said okay; he said: I am busy right now, leave it when I am done, I will call you. I said it is fine! Few hours later Stanley called me and said that there is no communication between the computer and the transmission. The problem is the module. So, he had to go deeper for the diagnostic in order to be sure that it is the module. I still said, go for it. The next day he called and confirmed it. He said to me: If you decide to fix it, it will cost you $ 1, 300.00 if not, I charge you $ 230. 00 for the diagnostic. I replied: I am not going to pay that much money to fix this car; how lower you can go? Mr. Stanley said: $ 883.00, I said, do you want to take $ 500.00, he said: I don't discuss that, "get it or leave "and he hang-up the phone in my face.
Few days later, I came back and he said why you don't want to fix the car, you don't have money? I have finance plan for you, I can finance it for you. I said: I don't have credit. He said: don't worry, no one has credit in America! I can make you pay $ 200.00 a month for 6 months with no interest; just gave me your driver license, I handed it to him and he swiped it in his machine and said, put your ss#, I did it. He said you are not qualified. He went back and sat down on his chair and said when are you coming? I said on Saturday, he said I cannot wait, you have to come on Thursday, August 29, 2019, I said no, I could not, but I try to come on Friday, 30th. I could not make it on Friday morning, when I came in the afternoon, he already closed. Monday was Labor Day, he was not open.
Tuesday, I came, he said where you were on Friday? I said, could not make it. He said, the car is not ready yet, come tomorrow, Wednesday, first thing in the morning. When I came, he said: my mechanics are not coming yet, you can go and I will call you in two to three hours. At about 4:15 pm, he called me and said I have a bad news for you, but don't worry, I will take care of you. I said what happen? He said: the module did not work. But, as you have a transmission out to replace, I will charge you only the labor to replace it for you. I said how much? He said: let me call you back! Thirty minutes later, he called me and said: as business to business, I will help you out, I do it for $ 1900:00. I said, thank you, I am not going to fix it and I come to get the car!
He begged me and said: man! What are you going to do with the car and I give you a very good deal, $ 1900.00, I said, no! I am coming to get it! Mr. Stanley said, okay, come get it. But when? I said: Tomorrow. He said, okay. I did find someone to drop me pick up the car which is the same day, Tuesday, September 3rd at about one hour after I did talk to him. When I got there, he said, you told me Tomorrow; now the car is back there and I cannot bring at the front right. Come tomorrow first thing in the morning which is Thursday, September 5, 2019. I came in the morning at about 10:45, he said: my mechanics have Emergency, they are not coming yet. You can go, I will call you; if you don't a ride, I come pick you up. He did never call me. At 4:43 PM, I call him and he said: you can come. When I got there, he made me sit down and said: what are you going to do with the car? Said: junk it. He said no, no, don't junk it, you can fix it! I said no! He said: I give it to you but, you have to pay me $ 900.00 to get the car. I said why because you did not fix the problem? He started yelling at me as I was his son. I went out of his office and said I am going to bring you to the Court. He said fine and took the key. I said: let get my license plate, while I am trying to take the plate, he started the car and back up on me.
Now, do to his lack of business ‘behavior matter, I decide to file this complaint against him in order to have my vehicle back as soon as possible. Second, as a customer, I felt like, he threated my life by backing up the car on me. Third, he made me sign a paper for the car, refuse to give me a copy. Fourth, I felt really mistreated. As a result, I claim this matter to corporate of the AAMCO for necessary actions. " You care, but Stanley does not care about customers"

Sincerely,
Dieudonne Leonce.

AAMCO Transmissions brake repair/headlight repair

I took my car into Aamco on Friday to ask them to check my brakes because they were grinding really bad. They told me that they needed to replace most of the rear brake and gave me a price for that. Then I came in and they told me another part needed to be replaced, which more than doubled the cost. I then applied for one of their credit cards and was accepted. They told me to bring the car back on tuesday so that all the parts would be in. I did so and they kept my car for hours and told me the struts got there late and that I should bring it back tomorrow (Wednesday), so I did. I went to check on the repair six hours later and they said they needed to keep it overnight. They then entered the card information and they gave me a six month interest free plan instead of the twelve month one they promised last week. They claimed it was an error and they gave me a number to call (which didnt even let me talk to an agent).

On top of this, they charged 100 dollars just to replace a headlight bulb.

AAMCO Transmissions defective transmission

My Name is Pamela Dorsey, my phone # [protected] A transmission was put in my SUV. By Aamco, on 3019 W Hillsbourgh Ave, Tampa FL 33614. Service Advisor: Dan. when I brought my SUV back to Naples Fl. There was still a lot of jerking and etc. I had the SUV pulled by a tow truck to the Aamco on 3030 Davis Blvd Naples FL, 34104. This service advisor name is also Dan. He call the Tampa branch, and explain what was going on with the transmission. And its still under warranty. So the Tampa Aamco, didn't want to let the Naples branch fix it! So the Tampa branch said that they will come down to pick up the transmission and return it back when they are done fixing it. But they never came down to pick it up. The Aamco in Naples, called and complain to why they haven't pick it up. My SUV has been sitting in the shop going on 4 weeks. And I need my SUV. I am very dissatisfy with my service. They took my money and missed up my SUV. I would like a refund for my hardship in this matter, and for Naples Aamco to have permission to fix this matter in there shop asap! And bill the Tampa, branch for my dissatisfy service. I don't trust the Tampa Aamco to fix this. Please contact Dan, [protected] from the Naples Fl. branch. So he can explain how the Tampa branch wanted me to risk my life to drive my SUV to them in Tampa for them to fix it! This is a law suit for injury!

AAMCO Transmissions fraud and unethical behavior

Below is the email I sent to Mr. Nick and Mr. George

As I was opening up your email, you were on the phone with me (Mr. George) and, you proceeded to read me this email over the phone. Once you finished, I preceded to respond to you about the shiftier assembly, .Informing you that it was looked at by Exxon. Mr. Woody from Exxon, said that the shiftier was working properly, as I stated in my previous email. Not knowing that you hung up on me (Mr. George) I went further into my conversation about how Mr. Nick and Rob told me that they will send a tow truck to pick up my vehicle once the shift assembly is fixed, therefore Aamco can fix the Paid in full issue that I had in the beginning.. Wail I was waiting for a response from you ( Mr. George) I realize that you (Mr. George had hung up the phone. As a consumer, and a true believer that a business should treat ALL CUSTOMERS with respect, I couldn't believe what had just happen to me. I felt used, who would take a person money and then hang up on them? I am shocked and angry.I have been in customer services for more then 30+ years and never never came across someone who would treated a customer with such disrespect. To hang up on a customer who serves your business and paid close to $5000.00 and the same issues is still going on with my vehicle is sad and fraudulent. I paid you to fix my vehicle and therefore, I have a right to ask questions when the issue still exists. I have a right to have my vehicle fix as promise. I am asking Aramco to return all paid monies and or paid for the same repairs however, to Exxon who will fix the original issues.I am asking that Aamco pay with in 30 days of this email therefore, I can get my vehicle properly fix..I will be contacting the BBB and other resources that can help me with this fraudulent issue. This consumer have rights and justice will be served.

AAMCO Transmissions diagnosis and full payment instead of just parts for repair taken before work is completed

On Wednesday, January 23, 2019 I took my van to AAMCO in Morrow, GA. I had already told them that my code was the Shift Solenoid "A". I was told that there could be other things going on besides that and they needed to do an electrical diagnosis so I left my van. On Friday, January 25, 2019, AAMCO called and the diagnosis turned out to be the same one I told them when I first came. The diagnosis was ($285) almost $300. I complained over the phone that the cost of the diagnosis was ridiculous and more than what the dealer charges. I was told that I needed to come sign paperwork so that the part could be ordered. When I arrived the diagnosis was cut in half. The payment for the full amount was debited from my visa instead of just the amount for the part. I was told that the part was being ordered the same day that the paperwork was signed. On Monday, January 28, 2019 I was told that the part would be delivered by 12:00 noon per the dealer and my van would be completed by Monday or Tuesday morning. I checked back after 1:00pm on Monday, and was told that the part hadn't come due to delay on the dealer's end. I told them that this was unacceptable, and the response was that "how do you think I feel, I'm at their mercy, just be a little more patient." I asked for my payment back, and was told that the part had already been ordered. There is a surgery appointment scheduled very early on Friday and it is quite a ways up the road. I question whether my van will even be ready then. I could understand the wait time if the problem was the transmission itself, but it isn't. I will never allow my vehicle to be kept hostage again. I will take further action if my van is not ready before Friday because the total bill has been paid.

Obviously the company cares nothing for their customers as they simply refuse to try to make right their faulty parts or less than service and are trying to get what they can from whoever they can and then run off with the pennies they have made.

Everyone I speak to, everyone in my company they speak to, everyone I know that they speak to will be sure to let those people that they all speak to what a horrible rip off Aamco is, and unless they have excess money to waste, go somewhere else!

AAMCO Transmissions 2012 buick enclave replaced transmission

I dropped off my 2012 Buick Enclve to Aamco Transmission Total Care, 525 Memorial Drive, Danville, Va, the second week of October, because the vehicle was intermittently shaking. I was informed by Aamco that the cause was "shuddering". I was told that there was metal in the pan and that the transmission needed to be replaced. A few days later I was told that the repair was done and ready for pick up. I paid the bill of $3313.56
After picking up my vehicle, I noticed that hot air was coming out of the driver side air duct. I attempted to lower the heat, but to no avail. No matter what I did I could not stop the heat with the climate control. I called Aamco and reported the problem. I was told that it was just a coincidence that it failed now, but I could bring it back in. I dropped it off and later received a call stating that there was a problem with the shutter door and it must be a coincidence that it failed now.
I picked up the Buick since I had a trip to Richmond, Va, that weekend. During the trip I noticed that the transmission hit real hard when coming from a cruising to a reengaging of the transmission. This happened repeatedly. Also my remote starter no longer worked as I attempted to warm up the Buick. The transmission fluid on the floor of my garage has ceased at this time.
I would like these three things resolved. I have lost the use of my vehicle for 10 days so far, which is a hardship in itself. I have never encountered so many coincidences in my life. I paid $3000 to resolve a problem, now I have three problems. I am prepared to contact whatever licensing or government office to get a remedy and if necessary legal help. I chose your company because you have a good name and reputation. I hope I made a good choice. What would you advise me to do?

AAMCO Transmissions timeliness of service, don't depend on what is told to you.

Took my car to AAMCO in Harrisonburg, Virginia and was told I needed a new transmission due to the car riding like it was going over rubble strips. $3, 400 later and a rebuilt transmission, plus 10 working days instead of the 4 promised, I got 15 minutes away and it started doing the same thing. I called the shop from the side of the road and was told to drive it home and call back the next day. I did. Told not advisable to drive the car but they would have to put it back on the computer to see what's wrong. I had it towed back ($120 even though their website states specifically free tow with rebuilt transmission), they put it on the computer and said they put in a bad part, that it was covered under the warranty (like I needed a warranty to get them to do the job right?). It's now been 6 days when I was told it would 4 four, and a phone call I had to make I learned it will be another day. Their word means nothing. Tom, the owner, was very apologetic, but that doesn't count for much when it's costing car rental money and inconveniencing friends by bumming rides day after day. I wish I had learned of their class action suit and the pages upon pages of complaints about almost all AAMCO shops across the country. Never, never, never again.

AAMCO Transmissions installation of a transmission

Beware of this company. We used them to replace our transmission a month and a half ago and have been completely disappointed by their customer service and workmanship. The owner does not even back his own employees work. We picked up our car and it was in terrible shape. It took 18 hours to clean the grease out of the inside of the car. It also had outside damage where someone had scraped the rims and bent the metal underneath the door. This was denied when they were questioned. We drove the car a few times over a period of 2 weeks and it has started slipping while making a turn. We called them and were told to bring it back in. After sitting there 2 days, we call back and are told it was the gaskets. The transmission we had them put in was used and from a reputable company, one that Aamco does business with frequently. The owner tells us that they put the transmission in without putting in a filter or replacing any of the gaskets. Instead they put the old, used filters on it? Why would you do that? Especially when we called continuously and asked if it needed anything. Never were we told we needed to pay extra to replace these parts. Instead they prefer for their customers to have $2600 work done for no reason and then require them to bring it back in. He then wanted to say it was all our responsibility, not theirs and we bought a piece of junk and if we didn't pick it up within 2 hours he would have it impounded! Okay correct me I am wrong but as a Customer with a 30 day warranty, we have the right to have our car fixed correctly without hassle. Besides that point why would you ever replace a transmission that he originally told us was practically "new", and not even place a filter in it or replace the old gaskets when you brought the vehicle in because it was leaking in the first place? This is not the kind of service I expected from an Aamco business. I am devastated that I just purchased this car and it was bad enough I was without it for 2 months, but then to have such rude and unprofessional service from a franchise owner just amazes me. Instead of trying to resolve the issue he preferred to criticize us and not stand behind his own company and workmanship. I would never recommend this company or any other Aamco after this horrible experience and just hope that no one else has to go through such a bad experience or lose so much money!

AAMCO Transmissions negligent, poor and very dangerous transmission installation.

July 2, 2018

AAMCO Customer Care Department

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a Formal Complaint to the Corporate Office of AAMCO Transmission Specialist. I took my 2004 Silverado Truck to your shop, in Pensacola, Florida on Friday, June 15, 2018, but because they were closed on the weekends, they started working on it Monday the 18th. My wife and I had plans to drive to Mississippi for my mother's 80th birthday party on the 29th, so it was very important to me to have my truck repaired responsibly and with care.

After diagnosing the trouble with my truck, the owner, Willie Gonzalez, called me on Tuesday to inform me there was metal in the transmission filter pan, and they needed to rebuild my transmission for $2, 195.00. On the same day, I authorized AAMCO Transmission to do the rebuild. He then called me on Wednesday to let me know that I also needed a new radiator because they found water in the transmission for an additional cost of $320.70. I authorized Mr. Gonzalez to go forward with the new radiator. As I am sure you are aware of these repair expenses totaling $2, 704.39 and with your company's reputation, I was confident the repairs would be handled in the ultimate and best care.

When we went to pick up my truck one week later on the 22nd, and as I was getting ready to pull out of the parking lot Mr. Gonzalez comes out and wants the mechanic to look at my radiator again. At that time, I felt all of the quality assurance should have been done before I even picked up my truck, not in the parking lot as I am leaving the property. Therefore, I felt that my truck was not properly inspected to assure that it was in top condition. However, Mr. Gonzalez cleared and assured us that everything was complete, I paid my bill in-full and we drove off.

After I had been driving my truck without prior knowledge that it was not mechanically sound which could have caused me to lose both my wife and my life or caused someone else to lose their life. This negligent act could have possibly caused an accident or damage to my truck. The night of the 28th, I went to back the truck into my garage, and I heard a big pop. I brushed it off because I just had the truck repaired by a reputable company so there could not be anything wrong. I woke up out of a sound sleep, and something said "DO NOT drive the truck to Mississippi for six hours." Mind you, we planned on being on the road to Mississippi by 4 am. I went out at 3 am to investigate (by looking under the hood and looking underneath the truck where I heard the strange sound) the night before. To my disappointment and total frustration, I discovered that there was no form of Quality Assurance (Q.A.) in the repair of my Vehicle. The fact is that I found four bolts and nuts fasteners not torque at all. Please see photo attachments.

When I called and spoke with the owner, William Gonzalez, at 7am the morning of the 29th, I felt insulted because I felt that the owner played on my Intelligence, by making a statement that the bolts and nuts came loose. In fact nuts and bolts of that size and length takes months to loosen if torqued properly. From my inspection of my truck, it appeared that my truck left the shop without the bolts and nuts being Torque Down. The Location of these fasteners were on the cross member, as you know that this is the main member that holds the Transmissions in place. What would have happened if the fasteners had come out of their sets? This single negligent action placed my Family and me in grave Danger. The loose fasteners give me cause to doubt the complete repair of my Vehicle. Another reason why I thought there were no proper Q.A. check performed when the mechanic rushed out of the shop to stop me from leaving the property when I came to pick up my truck. He ask me to shut off the engine so he could check the water level in the radiator.

The retribution that I am asking for is a refund of money for repair of my transmission. This experience has severely changed my perspective of AAMCO, as one of the leading Transmission and Total Auto Care Corporation. The AAMCO brand, I thought stood for Excellence in Transmission Repair.

Sincerely,

A Very Dissatisfied Customer
Willie L. McKinney
