Ordered two machines from AAA spa depot. The first machine to arrive was the Ultrasonic machine. I complained that the machine was unstable as it shocked the client (galvanic, not ultrasonic) I used the machine once. I sent the machine back and canceled the 2 nd machine, a microdermabrasion machine. NAthan promised he would refund my cc charge. He did not...

I completely agree with the previous complaint. I purchased all of my equipment from them when opening my skin care room and everything has been falling apart within the first year. Also, I ordered (and payed for!) the Microdermabrasion machine with the oxygen machine attached and they gave me the basic microderm machine. When I called to tell them it wa...

Aaa Spa Depot Scam artists!

I am an esthetician and needed a new machine so i went online and found aaa aps depot. I ended up buying a ultrasonic skin scrubber from them. It first took two months longer to get then it was supposed to. When I finally got it, it didn't work right after one use it stopped working totally. I called and called aaa spa depot to tell them about it and say i needed an exchange. The would never give me a straight answer for almost two months the owner was mysteriously always out of the office. Finally I talked to someone who said to send it in, when I did I got the package sent back saying they were no longer at that address. They also changed there number and no longer have a website. These people are scam artist! Their names are Desiree and Nathan. They need to be stopped! I am now out the money I paid for the machine and also out what I would be making off it if I were using it in facials.

Yes...the scammed us also. We got a mf-8300 for 6500.00 and it shipped broken. The owner was always out and Mark Revivo is a super scammer.

Thank You! Thank You! I almost bought from these people but instead bought from Reeve Lab and Beauty Beauty. Both of these companys are rip offs too! Do not buy equipment from them! Alex from Reeve lab is at all the trade shows and he has a different company every year. The equipment from both these companies failed with the first few months. Dont buy the cheep stuff. Go for the reputable companies who cost a bit more but have been around for a long time and stand by their products. Universal has good stuff and also Kimmar Furnature in Long Beach (CA) sell good quality equipment. You cant go wrong with Living Earth Crafts in San Diego. A bit pricy but the stuff lasts for a long time. To service and maintain (in LA area) call Robin at One Source. He will let you know if the equiment is crap...http://twitter.com/onesourcerepair
I am a spa owner and do not want people to make the same mistakes I did. Buyer beware. There are a lot of slick salesmen out there. Make sure the equiment has a warranty and ask around befor you buy. Good Luck

Perhaps call from a private number or from a friends house because I purchased an 8 in 1 multifunction from Craigslist, used of course, not directly from the spa equipment site...It didn't come with a manual, even though I generally know how to work it, the electrotherapy portion of the machine is much different. It is a 9000A that is listed on the right side of the machine. I looked up AAASpadepot.com that was listed on the machine, and boy oh boy does this place have a bad repuation. I myself was never happy with the mag lamp on the machine either...it falls and there is no way to tighten it. Anyway, to make a long story short...I went to the website of their second business SpaEquipmentUnlimited.com and asked them about the machine, acting as if I didn't know about their AWFUL repuation...hoping I could get a manual or something for this machine. I spoke to a Nathan who seemed to know my phone number before I gave it to him. If anyone has any idea how to rectify the mag lamp situation or has a manual for their 8 in 1 machine or could help me with the settings, and tell me what the heck is the button for G and R (I asssumed Galvanic would be one, but R?) or replacement brushes and electrodes, I would be forever grateful. I can be emailed at HeatherWing@twcny.rr.com

Rena Revivo and her spa supply operations are very skilled criminals. She is the Bernie Madoff of the spa industry. She knows all the tricks on cheating clients and sending faulty equipment and then hiding behind 9 pages of terms and conditions so the credit card companies will stand behind her. It is just a crime.

ATTENTION: YOU MUST READ THIS...
I just found this site and cannot believe my eyes. These people are incredible. I unfortunately have a machine from them that I bought at a Vegas show in 2007 and it no longer works. Of course I contacted them several times and actually got a message today from them. AKA 'Jack' (who really was nathan, I could tell by his voice) said for me to call them back and that they would be happy to assist me. Yah right!
Through some research I have found that Nathan & Desiree, or whatever their names are, are being sued by Sprinkles Cupcakes for trademark infringement. They are accused of stealing their ideas that are patented.
I have since contacted Sprinkles and their attorney and will hopefully hear back from them soon. My intention is to put and end to these fraudulent people and maybe even put them in jail. When I do get in contact with this lawyer I am going to ask about a class action law suit or anything else that we can do. I would so appreciate everyones help and willingness to partcipate in action that we can take. If anyone would like to contact me, please email me at greenikelly@yahoo.com
Thank You,
Kelly

ALERT! Searching their names recently to see what else they were up to and Nathan Revivo and Desiree Adl (aka Revivo) who uses her maiden name to try and avoid scrutiny have started a new business.

They are the owners of Famous Cupcakes (www.famouscupcakes.com) and from the looks of it, they took the scammed dollars and just opened up in a new line of work. Perhaps you can pursue them there if you were indeed scammed, especially since they are supposed to be bankrupt.

Famous Cupcakes is as far away from spa services as you can get but perhaps that's the idea. I'm sure they will scam people there too. From what I can read, they charge $3 for a cupcake, lol, but at least people see it coming.

AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS! WE WERE SCAMMED AND UNFORTUNATELY, PEOPLE OFTEN FIND THESE POSTS TOO LATE.

Nathan Revivo, Desiree Adl, Desiree Revivo, Famous Cupcakes, whatever they want to call themselves...scammers to the core.

I foolishly bought their equipment at the Long Beach Expo. They were very quick to tell me what great customer service they had and that if anything was wrong with the equipment that they would respond back to me promptly. When I got home, noticed that the wrong manual for the machine was in the box and that the high frequency machine only worked on occasion. I addressed this issue via telephone and email since FEBRUARY and have been ignored completely. I love the idea of calling all of the main shows to stop these people...maybe if enough of us do it they will be black balled from these shows and we can run them out of business. Going to file a small claims action as well.

I have been scammed also. Ordered steamer: Arrived, wrong steamer, scratched and IT DOES NOT OPERATE AT ALL.

Shawn promised to send a replacement and an ups pickup for the other. Over two weeks, later - ZERO. Plus they do not answer their phones or respond to contact in anyway.

This is how I am fighting back. I have started to call ALL Esthetic and medical shows where they are listed as exhibitors. I called IBS/Las Vegas today. Recommend that they do not permit these slimmy scammers on their exhibitors list. Should they do so, it would jeopardize many unhappy salon owners from attending!
