AA Auto Protection Auto warranty

After my car was totaled I requested a refund of the remaining 26 months on the contract. I was told to send a request to the cancellation dept. I did sending it certified return receipt. It was signed 09/03.2019. After it wasn't received I called & was told I would receive it after 10/15/2019. Numerous calls & emails after were ignored. I'm still waiting.

Desired outcome: Refund of remaining 26 months.

AA Auto Protection Auto protection warranty

Cancelled policy # [protected] on 11/12/2017 Trying to get refund on policy for 4 months now was told check was sent on 02/02/2018 must have been lost sent new check on 02/16/2018 still not received as of 03/01/2018. They don't reply to phone messages or emails. When able to talk to someone they keep transferring you to all different departments then most of the time you are lied to or usually just cut off. I was once told the amount was $452.16 I am assuming that was just to sound official. The policy was only in effect for 40 months and car was only driven 3000 miles, The policy was for 60 months or 100, 000 miles.

AA Auto Protection Car warranty

I purchased a warranty on 03/20/2017. My package was sentenial package which covers all major parts on my vechical. My car start having problems three weeks ago when i tried to drive it wouldn't go forward so i called the emergency roadservice which came with my plan they towed it to nlr dealership and my car was dignosed with transmission issues. Aa auto warranty denied my claim but continue to take momthly payments out for warranty. My car is still at nlr nissan its been 3 wks. Dealership cant get hold of them. Also states 30 day or 1000 miles which ever comes first. Them 30 days was over 04/20/2017 now they want say odometer is issue. They need to be shut down for faulty warranty after reading all reviews. They dont pay out claims.if there is a lawsuit i want to join asap

AA Auto Protection Rip off will not pay and will find any little thing to deny services

I purchased the supreme auto warranty from this company on 5/14/13 and when i bought it I made sure I asked all the question about the warranty the policy, what they cover and what they dont cover. The person that sold me the policy told me that with the supreme i was fully covered the only thing is that i had to wait 30 day and i had to put 1000 miles on my car before the policy would come into affect. On 6/27/13 and 1700 miles later I started it hear a slight noise coming from the rear of my car and I immediately took it to my mechanic to have it looked at.

When I got to my mechanic I explained to him what i heard coming from the rear and I also told him I had an extended warranty that would cover the damage. my mechanic immediately told me that most likely they were going to deny my claim and that they will find 100 reasons to deny me.

That afternoon the shop started to look into the problem and found that a rear bearing had spun and gone bad (oil, gasket we're all fine) He calls up aa auto to get authorization for the repair and just like he told me they denied him. He explained to them the problem and told them that bearings could go bad at anytime aa auto told him that bearing don't go bad from one day to another and that the truck has a lot of miles ( they new the truck had a lot of miles when they sold me the policy) and that's why it went bad. I also called and the person told me the something that they wont cover it because in their opinion bearing dont go bad and said it was an existing problem ( witch it wasn't) At that point I told them I was going to contact my layer and he told me do what you have to and hung up the phone on me..

How can someone that sits behind a desk reading a script from a computer screen and has no mechanical experience tell my mechanic with over 20 years in the field that bearing don't go bad?

Guys please beware of aa auto protection. They will look for any reason not to pay!

at this point I have filed a claim with BBB .. I AM ALSO IN THE POSSESS OF EMAILING ALL OF THE PEOPLE ON THIS FORM AND OTHER FORMS THAT HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY AA AUTO PROTECTION SO I CAN START A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT...PLEASE EMAIL ME [protected]@AOL.COM I HAVE A VERY CLOSE FRIEND THAT IS A VERY GOOD AND AGGRESSIVE ATTORNEY THAT WOULD LOVE TO START ONE UP ASAP.. I ALSO HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER THAT IS A DET. WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND IM GOING TO HAVE HER LOOK INTO THIS ALSO..
i want to see them prove it in court that a bearing desn't go bad from one day to another!

I hope this works well for you and others, you paid your money for the service. They need to cut the c*** and pay for the service. Bearings can go bad at anytime. Total Malarkey, you should not have to deal with such nonsense. I hope a class action is bought about and a new legislation can be formed like Maryland Lemon Law to stop such shady and out right scam practices. How can we as consumers just fall prey to an industry that scams in plain sight. More comprehensive components need to be added to more policy's even if they pass down the cost to the consumer! Its way better than a lying, scamming business that is to all eager to deny. I will not use aa for coverage.

AA Auto Protection Misrepresentation of information and mishandling of funds.

dear sir/madame, i own a 2001 bmw x5.I bought a 50, 000miles extended warranty covereage with AA Auto protection.Unfortunately the coverage served no purpose as i had to pay for almost all the repairs from my pocket every time the vehicle was taken to the shop.I decided to cancel the coverage and have my prorated refund mailed back to me. I received a mail from the administrator noting that the policy had been cancelled effective november 15th and that a prorated refund had been sent to AA Auto protection.Ever since then aa auto has been giving me the run around of my. First of all they claim that the administrator has not sent any payment to them. Second of all they are so unprofessional and full of arrogance and not at all interested in sending back my refund.I am really exhausted and tired of trying to contact aa auto protection for my money.Please intervene on my behalf.My names are eddy mayi and my address is 630 harry s truman dr, upper marlboro, md 20774

AA Auto Protection I would recommend everyone to not to buy warranty from AA Auto Warranty for sure

Below is details of my horrible experience with AA Auto Warranty ad losing 1854$ for nothing. I purchased the extended warranty through AA Auto Warranty for my BMW and within 6 month from purchase date my car was involved in accident and was declared total loss. After that I contacted AA Auto warranty customer service to update them about my situation and cancel the warranty requesting refund on pro-rated basis as I no longer owned the car. Customer service person told me that they can't refund or cancel policy after 90 days period (which I don't think I was told clearly at the time of purchase, but he told me that it is in contacts which I never bothered to read anyway). After that I reminded him that I was told that policy does have a clause which states "if I don't make any claims in 5 years period then I would receive the full warranty premium back" For that, I was told that that clause is only applicable if I OWN the car for 5 years and don't make any claims. They asked me to talk to insurance company to get the money recovered from them as it was total loss (Insurance company denied this claim immediately as they told tat don't cover warranty for total loss pay-off). Anyway, I even asked AA Autowarranty that can they at least transfer my warranty to my other car (if not giving me cash refund on pro-rated basis) so that at least I can use it but that too was denied (not surprised though) I asked the customer service person that isn't my situation similar to above clause as I can't make any claims as I don't have the car with me. I don't understand why they would care if I own the car or not. (may be just to keep these type of clause to keep the money) but my request was denied . He also told me that if I want to get 1854$ back then I need to get the car back form salvage yard and keep it on my driveway for 5 years and then I can get the money back under their contract/policy (unbelievable to hear this kind of thing from any customer care person in any situation, he should call himself "customer care" Rep ). During whole conversation, customer service rep was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL and I am confident that they don't care about anything AFTER selling warranties. Anyway, I was also told that they are ONLY broker and I need to talk to warranty company in case of any claim issues, which I find totally absurd…. If I paid the money to AA Auto Warranty then why should I go to somewhere else to get my money back? In summary, AA Autowarraty is total fraudulent company as I was told that there is no one higher than that unprofessional Customer care Rep (when I asked for supervisor) and I was told that he doesn't have any boss and he reports to CEO of the company who doesn't look into Customer service issues. I found this ridicules as how any CEO cannot care about the customer satisfaction and customer feedback. So I guess there are only 3-5 guys running this AA Auto warranty over Internet and they certainly do not have any business ethics and have no clue about customer satisfaction. I would recommend everyone to NOT TO BUY WARRANTY from AA Auto Warranty for sure. Their sales person will make all promises which you will find later that they were all lies and then you will be told that he discussed lot of policies with you at the time of purchase and your specific policy doesn't not cover this or that or has different cancellation policy. Again, never ever but warranty from AA Auto warranty under any circumstances and save yourself money and time. I am going to report to BBB also to save others.

AA Auto Protection Scam

This company wrongfully deceived me by lines like "Just like a new car warranty, only better", "The best coverage in the industry", "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered", "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back", and other lines. The truth is, the "product warranty" they sold me was so restricted. and would never pay for anything when breakdown occurs. The reality hit me pretty badly when my engine failed.

I purchased an agreement from them with good faith on 9/16/2009. I was in the market for an extended warranty for my truck as my warranty at the time was expiring on 11/11/2009. I first looked around in the web and quickly discovered that, there are many fraudulent companies like US Fidelis out there. I knew not to contact US Fidelis but I didn't even dream that AAAutowarranty.com was selling me an identical "product warranty" by same provider also sold by US Fidelis. I shopped around, and asked many questions. I first received a quote in an email by AAAutowarranty.com. It wasn't too expensive or the lowest, I decided to give them a call. They offered me 2 plans to choose from. They were both from same provider. I asked about a coverage on turbo charger, as I had a turbo charger failed on me previously. I was told that one of them listed turbo charger in covered components, but the other one didn't list turbo charger. but in event, if turbo charger was damaged due to failed covered component, it will be covered. I asked about hub bearing, and the sales guy couldn't answer. I was connected to his supervisor, The supervisor said front wheel hub bearing would be covered as all internally lubricated components of axles are covered. The sales guy continued to tell me about how great this warranty is. "Just like a new car warranty, Only better", "The best coverage in the industry", "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered", "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back", "15 days and 500 mile activation period", "No limit on each claim, up to actual cash value of the vehicle", "Just keep up with the oil change, at any service facility", "5 year 150, 000 mile coverage", "If something happens to your car, just take it in to any ASE certified facility. 'we' will take care of the rest" and others. I called around and found other warranty companies that were offering the same coverage from the same provider. I didn't care for them as they were high pressure sales. A lady from one warranty company asked me what I was considering. I told her about this great coverage offered by AA Auto Warranty, 5 year 150, 000 mile coverage, activation period 15 days and 500 miles and so on. She said she didn't have anything with 15 days and 500 mile activation period, and it must be some kind of a product warranty that requires additives added to engine, transmission, gear cases and others or it's a scam. I called back AA Auto Warranty and asked if it was a "product warranty" with some kind of additives. He said "No, it's a regular warranty". I felt like I did enough research, and I gave the guy my credit card number. I worked as a business development manager and other positions in sales field. I always presented our products with truth, never withholding negative info on anything. I had no reasons to suspect AA Auto Warranty. I received a small package from the provider in what seems like couple of weeks later. I never really looked at it. I even felt comfortable enough, and canceled my real warranty in early October after I reached 500 mile and 15 day activation period.

In mid October my truck started to smoke badly and lost power on freeway. I was so glad that I renewed my warranty policy with AAAutowarranty. I looked for a service facility that would work with an aftermarket warranty company, and took my truck in. They said it seemed like cracked piston or broken piston ring. They said warranty company should cover such damage, they got an approval for teardown from the provider and took the engine a part. They found a wrist pin circlip came off of a piston and damaged the piston and the cylinder wall badly. This was an instantaneous damage. I got a call from the repair facility a day before Thanksgiving day telling me that provider denied the claim. I was shocked. I failed to understand the reason for denying my claim. The guy from the repair facility emailed me a pdf attachment he received from the provider. It had many misspellings and most of the sentences weren't even complete. I couldn't believe the level of the response I received from this company. I found out soon later that I wasn't the only one experienced the same situation. A fact is, all of the policies or agreements from this provider is so strict. They will always find 10 reasons why they won't pay for the claim, pre-existing, worn components, parts not actually broken to pieces, one of the oil change record was hand written, not covered part or condition, and many other ridiculous reasons why they won't pay for the claim. This provider is a scam, so is AAAutowarranty that sold the coverage to me knowingly and willingly. And they count on you NOT to read or understand the policy, otherwise they wouldn't be selling such ridiculous insurance policy.

I filed a complaint with BBB. The first response from AAAutowarranty was that they don't process or approve any claims. But the real problem is the fraudulent misrepresentation of the selling broker, in this case AAAutowarranty. Maybe it's my fault that I trusted them so much. but I'm not the only one. I didn't even find out until very recently that there were tablets and battery terminal protectors in the box I received from the provider. also, there was a "information" on the warranty with all the exclusions and conditions in the box. I was never asked to read or understand any of this by anyone. I never acknowledged any of this. Troy Nelson from AA Auto Warranty tried to tell me that I acknowledged all the fine prints when I give them the 3 digit security code from back of my credit card. I told him that has nothing to do with the fine prints I didn't even know existed. Marc Kamin from AAAutowarranty agreed with me that all of the calls are monitored and AAAutowarranty knew every details listed in conditions of all the agreements. Marc Kamin told me that this provider only started to behave in such manner within last couple of month as economy took a deeper dive. I disagree. There is no evidence of them changing their coverage information and there are many people complaining about this provider for years. The truth is, nobody sane would purchase such agreement or policy if they knew all the restrictions and conditions of these warranty policies.

AA Auto Warranty also violated insurance regulation and state laws by selling disguised insurance policy. All victims should contact FTC, Attorney General, Department of Insurance and other governmental agencies of each states. AAAutowarranty has locations in NJ, PA, MD and DE. I believe Baltimore office is the most active sales location as they are currently looking for more sales/telemarketing position for that office. All the victims should also file a claim with BBB, I don't know how they ended up with an A+ as they only had a rating of B- when I looked them up back in September. They do have 50 complaints on the record. I know of a business that had no complaints ever and has a C rating. BBB isn't a reliable source after all.

They recently changed their company name to AA Auto Protection to avoid some investigations.

Please contact me if you have a class action lawsuit against AA Auto Warranty or AA Auto Protection. I like to join or possibly start one if I can't find one already started.

I had same problem as others have posted. Turbo problem, refused to pay, said they don't cover 5 wheels trucks.
Was thought to be transmission, but turns out to be 250.00 part in turbo, and a couple of sensors.
I was ripped off too. 2, 700.00 warranty for 4 yrs. will report.

I had purchased the extended warranty for my car through this company. I found out they did not cover much of what I wanted, thus I called in and canceled their services in May or June 2012. I had been advised that I would receive a refund. It has been six months, nothing approaching my mail box. I called in August, the guy handles the refund department at x175 answered and said the refund check went out, nothing happened. I waited until October and called in again he said oops, he will resend it again, nothing happened. I call today December, 12nd, he hung up on me after I complaint about the company dishonest policy. It seems that I lost the refund!

What is the point of owning a vehicle that's now new or certified pre owned, if their are company's set to prey on consumers! The amount of variables that can receive a deductible and no hassle trip to ANY mechanic seems to be out weighted by the number of denials. I feel this industry needs oversight because its obvious that they are just stealing and operating in plain sight as a Ponzi. Madoff even fooled the most savvy investor how much more this company and others to consumers whom need peace of mind with their vehicle. As motorists we need more fair practices i.e. forcing these warranty company's to add more comprehensive a coverage components and deny less. Pass the costs to the consumer, we are willing to pay a little more if our cars are going to get fix and not left holding a worthless agreement.

I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST THESE PEOPLE. I ONLY HAD THIS COVERAGE FOR ABOUT 1.5 MONTHS WHEN THE CAR IT WAS ON, WAS TOTALLED. I ASKED FOR A REFUND MINUS THE CANCELLATION FEE. THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME MY $380.80 BACK. I WISH SOMEONE WOULD START A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM. THEY ARE DECIETFUL AND A CROOKED COMPANY. I INTEND ON CONTACTING AN ATTORNEY FOR JUST THAT! BOY, TO BAD THEY ARE KEPT IN BUSINESS ISN'T IT?

AA Auto Protection Did not pay for repairs

I purchase a protetion plan from AA Auto Protection in October 2009 on my 2002 Jaguar for $2, 500.00 and the sale person went over what all the things that were covered. I put my car in the shop for some repair on 1/24/2011, the repaair bill was for over $4, 000 and AA say only $900.00 was covered so I had to pay $4, 000.00 out of my pocket. The Protection plan is not worth the paper it is written on. I ask the sale person what was covered and he said everythings but tires, oil change, bulbs and brake parts. I could have used the money I paid for the plan to pay for my repairs. This company is just a rip off and should have a class action lawsuit against them for Fraudulent Misrepresentation.

i purchased aa auto protection in dec, 2010. it was a christmas gift. my side window quit working.i took it to a auto repair service to have it fixed. they would only pay for the cheapest part from auto zone, wouldent pay for other part.i was out 400.00 now the turbo messed up, was supost to be covered & now they wont pay any thing. this co is a rip off. it`s a scam. i`m disabled & now can`t get my car fixed. please beware of this company

I didn't even find out until very recently that there were tablets and battery terminal protectors in the box I received from the provider. also, there was a "information" on the warranty with all the exclusions and conditions in the box. I was never asked to read or understand any of this by anyone. I never acknowledged any of this. Troy Nelson from AA Auto Warranty tried to tell me that I acknowledged all the fine prints when I give them the 3 digit security code from back of my credit card. I told him that has nothing to do with the fine prints I didn't even know existed. Marc Kamin from AAAutowarranty agreed with me that all of the calls are monitored and AAAutowarranty knew every details listed in conditions of all the agreements. Marc Kamin told me that this provider only started to behave in such manner within last couple of month as economy took a deeper dive. I disagree. There is no evidence of them changing their coverage information and there are many people complaining about this provider for years. The truth is, nobody sane would purchase such agreement or policy if they knew all the restrictions and conditions of these warranty policies.

AA Auto Warranty also violated insurance regulation and state laws by selling disguised insurance policy. All victims should contact FTC, Attorney General, Department of Insurance and other governmental agencies of each states. AAAutowarranty has locations in NJ, PA, MD and DE. I believe Baltimore office is the most active sales location as they are currently looking for more sales/telemarketing position for that office. All of the victims should contact AG, DOI and others in each of those states.

All the victims should also file a claim with BBB, I don't know how they ended up with an A+ as they only had a rating of B- when I looked them up back in September. They do have 50 complaints on the record. I know of a business that had no complaints ever and has a C rating. BBB isn't a reliable source after all.

They recently changed their company name to AA Auto Protection to avoid some investigations.

A full refund is not a silver bullet to get rid of all the unhappy customers.
I have a proof that their "name was changed to avoid some investigations".

FTC really started to crackdown on extended warranty scams in recent months. Many people believes it's couple of years too late, but late is better than never.
The Federal Trade Commission had to forbid misleading terminology such as warranty to be used in company names, for companies that do not provide warranty coverages. AA Auto Warranty had no choice but to change it's name to AA Auto Protection. This is to avoid investigation for non-compliance of the federal trade regulation.

It's sad that AA Auto Warranty operated with such a misleading name for years, before FTC had to force them to change their name.

AA auto protection has been giving me nothing but the run around. I have had coverage for 5 months and not my fuel pump has gone bad. After a week of waiting to authorization to repair they came back and want the shop to use a part that is not like quality. The shop has informed me and AA Auto that if they use this part the report will not hold and may cause further damage. I have called everyday and all I get is rude people that tell me I need to wait. The person the sold me the contract Bobby Demery was very attentive when he was trying to get me to buy, returned calls left professional messages and not him and everyone else is missing in action. I also purchased their warranty, rip off, wasn't told everything. My car broke down and I called to be toed away first of all I was waiting 3 hrs and than was told I have to pay an additional $ 175 to have my car moved. On top of all I tried calling the 24/7 service yah right 5 x I was waiting 15 min and than transferred to a voicemail, great service there is no 24/7 service I hope no one brakes down in the middle of the night and has that insurance

I was told my suspension was covered during the initial call an even asked him if it was. My car had to be towed to two different shops because they wanted to only cover the cheapest part. I was without a car for almost 2 weeks and I surely didn't know I had to be reimbursed for a rental. I would l9ve to be involved with a class action. Any shop I go to declines their contract stating poor service, no one ever picks up, an claims take forever to be evaluated even after the work is done. I purchased the supreme auto warranty from this company on 5/14/13 and when i bought it I made sure I asked all the question about the warranty, policy, what they cover and what they dont cover. The person that sold me the policy told me that with the supreme i was fully covered the only thing is that i had to wait 30 day and i had to put 1000 miles on my car before the policy would come into affect. On 6/27/13 and 1700 miles later I started it hear a slight noise coming from the rear of my car and I immediately took it to my mechanic to have it looked at.

When I got to my mechanic I explained to him what i heard coming from the rear and I also told him I had an extended warranty that would cover the damage. my mechanic immediately told me that most likely they were going to deny my claim and that they will find 100 reasons to deny me.

That afternoon the shop started to look into the problem and found that a rear bearing had spun and gone bad (oil, gasket we're all fine) He calls up aa auto to get authorization for the repair and just like he told me they denied him. He explained to them the problem and told them that bearings could go bad at anytime aa auto told him that bearing don't go bad from one day to another and that the truck has a lot of miles and that's why it went bad. I also called and the person told me the something that they wont cover it because in their opinion bearing dont go bad and said it was an existing problem ( witch it wasn't) At that point I told them I was going to contact my layer and he told me do what you have to and hung up the phone on me..

How can someone that sits behind a desk reading a script from a computer screen and has no mechanical experience tell my mechanic with over 20 years in the field that bearing don't go bad?

Guys please beware of aa auto protection. They will look for any reason not to pay and you wont get your money back..

A day late and $1800.00 short. Called 11/11/12 the day I sold my truck, to cancel contract purchased 5/16/11. I was informed that I would receive a refund and would be processed and mailed within 60 to 90 days. I called again on 1/11/13 was told again 60 to 90 days and the rep. I spoke with said they had no way of finding out how much the refund would be since it was in accounting. They said they could not give me the contact # to any one who would know the information I requested. I called again in February spoke with a service rep who gave me the ext of 175 his supervisor and to call him the following Monday which I did. Mr. Jim Fortino informed me the check would be mailed March 1, 2013, note when asked he could or would not tell me the amount of the check. Waited until March 13, 2013 giving the USPS 13 days to deliver. When no check came in call Mr. Fortino again he said if not received by Friday March 15, 2013 to call back and he would have one issued and mailed. Called at 1400 on March 15 and Mr Fortino said he would have a check issued and mailed on Monday. I asked if it would be another month of this at which time he smartly stated if I wanted the check held a month he would when I replied I wanted the refund now and would like the name of his supervisor the line went dead and when I call right back entering his ext # of 175 the line picked up and went immediately back to hold music. I fully realize that this was the worst possible decision ever made to purchase this contract without fully researching the full ramifications of what I was doing. If ever a class action suit is filled I will gladly become a part of it. Best advice ever given was pay for GMPP may cost more but GM would at least refund the money if the contract was cancelled.

AA Auto Protection Poor Product/Service

We purchased a used car warranty through AA Auto Warranty. The actual warranty was issued by Consumer Direct Warranty Services. The covered vehicle was taken in for auto repairs on several occasions. Even though the service providers followed the guidelines of the warranty, CDWS was very slow in processing paperwork, practically impossible to contact, and our vehicle was in service for several days while waiting to get response/authorization from CDWS. Ultimately, CDWS found reasons to deny the claims and provided very little to no assistance with the needed repairs even though the dealerships felt very strongly that the services should be covered by the warranty. We felt that the warranty was useless and a waste of money, not to mention the fact that we were without use of our vehicle for many days just trying to get a response from them. We also felt that AA Auto Warranty was misleading in that we purchased the warranty from them based upon their website and assurances about the quality of the warranty, and then the actual warranty was issued through a third party.

There are many facts supporting the claims of the original poster. Many complaints against AA Auto can be found on Complaints Board and other forums. This is the clear indication of how AA Auto operates.
If they want to claim tens of thousands of satisfied customers, they should support this claim with a proof. Because I can't say that I'm very convinced. AA Auto is not currently rated by BBB. A+ rating is currently invalid, even they are still claiming A+ rating on their website. Why does it matter how soon after the op submitted the claim. There is a 0 to 30 day activation period and if the claim op filed was after the activation period there is no negligence in the customer's part. CDWS clearly indicated that they are not an insurance company. They are a company that sells products. And they offer warranty on their products which are supposed to protect components of the vehicle their products were used on. According to CDWS non of insurance or new vehicle warranty rules apply to their service contracts because they don't sell warranty. They sell products. The op posted the complaint on a public forum, there is nothing sneaky or smear about the op's post. I for one believe it's all true. This is nothing close to be described as dropping bombs.

By this comment, AA Auto protection is making a statement that they are not an insurance or warranty broker. They are a service contract broker.
But here is the part you'll like. I received an email from salesdept@list.aaautowarranty.com in mid September of 2009 including a following palagraph.
[DIRECT INSURED
All warranty plans are Direct Insured and backed by AM Best rated insurance companies and authorized for sale and monitored by your state insurance department. We only offer the most secure direct insured policies and none of the warranty companies we represent are backed by risk retension(sic) groups.] I can send this email to those who wishes to review it. This is a clear misrepresentation of service contract. This is an insurance fraud. And they want to know how many more laws and regulation they violated to enrolling the op in the plan? There are people that can look in to this for us. It doesn't mean the op has no good answer. He is just busy living the everyday life. I'm very happy to defend him. Insurance regulations were broken because they represented the service contract/product warranty as a vehicle warranty/insurance. I don't know how many entities conducted investigation on AA Auto. I know at least Attorney Generals from 41 states investigated US Fidelis, the company also sold CDWS. I don't believe there are any lies on op's post. I hope the op's post is helping potential victims of the scam.

Every person is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts. No one has the right to libel a person or a company. We have tens of thousands of satisfied customers, an A+ rating by the BBB, and a positive reputation based on customer service and cost. The author of this complaint, whose name we will withhold, submitted a claim very soon after enrolling in the plan, which suggests that the plan was obtained to cover the repair. That is insurance fraud. But, of course, giving the customer the benefit of the doubt after the claim was denied as a non-covered component, we offered a full refund. The customer refused. Rather than dialogue, the course the customer took was to sneak attack us with a smear campaign, dropping bombs like this complaint, riddled with accusations without substance. For example, can this person document which entity was investigating us, that we avoided with a name change? What is the source of those direct quotes, other than his imagination? The complainer states that we "violated insurance regulation [sic] and state laws by selling disguised insurance policies.” What is his proof that AA Auto Protection violated any laws or regulations by enrolling him in his plan? What specific laws or regulations were violated? The customer has been directly asked these questions, and we have received no reply. It's highly doubtful that he will answer here. What laws were violated? What is your source of the quotes other than memory? What insurance regulations were broken? What entities of any kind have ever investigated us? It's easy to smear and to slander, but apparently impossible for this customer to provide specific evidence supporting his fatuous claims. This company, unlike others in our industry, such as US Fidelis, will not commit hari kari by poorly treating its clients. We accept and welcome legitimate criticism, when it is supported by recording, documents, or other tangible evidence. However, we cannot be unresponsive when someone basely lies. This customer has been notified that his false statements are legally actionable. We invite any reader of this post to contact AA Auto Protection, and we will be glad to answer any questions about this situation.

Cory Johnson is a joke and a liar who represents AA Auto Warranties. If by hiring and retaining incompetents like Cory Johnson to represent their company, then AA Auto Warranties should be ran out of business ASAP! Please do not give this representative the time of day if he should contact you as he will cheat you if he gets the opportunity!

Hi all,

AA Warranty is the most not serious company I worked so far.
Not paying for the services which I'm paying for.
They've put me on the way for seven weeks to fix my car, all the garages they gave me, no one was able to deal with BECAUSE AA it is not paying.
I have contact AA for so many times and aski them what is going on, and because they are not professionals and having unprepared staff, they where sending me to different departments ( trying to solve by myself, their job ).
But, still, after seven weeks, waiting for my car, changing garages, calling them, asking them, no one was able to tell me what does it cover and what doesn't .
The garages contacted me and them to tell us what is wrong.
But, when I was calling AA, just to make things move faster, they where telling that no one contact them. Stupid attitude and trying to hide from responsibility.
Bottom of all, I will recommend to all customers and future customers, read carefully the contract and PLEASE, stay away from them, they are not so good as you see.
It's waste of time and energy for nothing.

I wish I would have read these comments before I purchased a contract with AA Auto Protection. They are quick to sign you up, but like the others stated, they take their time fixing your car...IF AT ALL. They wanted the BMW dealer to take apart a part which was clearly broken on my car, but could not and would not guarantee that they would approve it to be fixed. I took it to two different repair shops and they (the repair shops) stated they had NEVER dealt with a company like this. I paid money for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but a headache. I signed with a new company recommended by a dealer and family member. Now, I been trying to cancel my contract since August. This is absolutely ridiculous! PLEASE BEWARE!

I wasted almost $2000 on warranty that is totally useless. Company rep was nice but now I know why. It is a total waste of money, you are better off giving money to a charity or use it for a vacation, you will have much better memories than buying this coverage. Policy clearly states that certain parts are covered, even mechanic and BMW dealer was fooled the way it is written, but somewhere, it has exceptions. Totally useless, a total waste of time and money.

II called ti cancel my services after the dealership called to see if i still wanted the warranty. They were nasty, wanted to know every detail regarding the other coverage, and I just wanted to cancel. I had my bank on three way so the conversation got recorded twice. After i spoke with 4 people i got it cancelled and they slammed the phone down. My bank cancelled my card just in case they were scams. I wouldn't recommend to my dog.

Do not buy warrantys from aa auto because they sell warranties from so called legitimateccompanies but then they go out of business and then your stuck. This company is fraudulent and needs to be shut down. The warranty they sold me is useless and at the bottom of my contrct it says to contact the company that sold the warranty for any questions or claims.. they will not help me.

Beware: If you take them up on their refund/cancellation policy it takes 90 days to get your refund. It takes 45 days for them to confirm the pro-rated refund amount. I'm terribly nervous about whether this company is legit. Will be posting again to confirm how this goes. Please note: I have not used the policy for any repairs.

If you take them up on their refund to when/if you cancel the policy. They take 90 DAYS! to refund you the pro-rated amount. They cannot provide you with a confirmation of the pro-rated amount for 30-45 days. Buyer beware. They are the nicest people when you buy and talk about how easy it is to cancel... they don't talk much about this crazy turn-around time to send you the refund. Sounds sketchy. I'll post an update to see if they actually follow through with a legit refund.

My grandparents purchased an extended RV warranty from this company www.wholesalewarranties.net and were completely taken advantage of. The warranty was misrepresented at the time of purchase and my grandparents did not receive the coverage they were promised when they needed it the most. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone else. Their customer service is nonexistent and they offer no support. Complete scam!
