I ordered a product (a leather vest) through A-1AmericanFlags.com, and the Paypal transaction posted on October 9th. I have documentation of this saved on my computer. When I inquired on October 25th about my order via email (all correspondence saved), Mr. "Dale Shipman" gave a personal excuse and also stated that there were legalities that were delaying production, and that I should receive my product in the "2-3 week of November." I obliged and then contacted again on November 22nd, and he responded, with no explanation this time, that there were again delays, and I should receive my order by Christmas. It is now mid-January, and I made a phone call to Mr. Shipman on Saturday, January 12th to see what the status of my order was. Mr. Shipman states that his manufacturer, based out of Pakistan, keeps getting their electricity cut off, there's a war, etc., etc. So I decided to cancel, and did so also in writing (by email) on the 13th of January, the next day. I also did a search online, and he has victimized at least 2 other individuals in the same manner. Too bad for him I DO care, and I WILL get my $200 back, and this is the costliest scam he'll ever try to put past on someone.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS PERSON. I AM STILL AWAITING AN ITEM FROM JULY 2008. THIS MAN IS THE BIGGEST CROOK AROUND. HE NEVER RETURNS MY CALLS OR E MAILS. TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE THAT KNOWS..THIS MAN IS BADDDD NEWS!
Every person on this compaint list has received their product This is not a scam.
Come on you peopple give a guy a break. I was going through legal complications over the specifics about all of the compaints listed here.
Everyone has received what they ordered.
I do not understand how complaintsboard.com caj justify listing as a scam.
All customers have received what they ordered and not one person was scammed or ripped off.

I was recently contacted by Dale Shipman. He was extremely apologetic and congenial about my order. After two years, I've got to give the man some credit for finally following through.

So I finally get my vest one year and eight months later, with a note asking to retract any complaints I made to any agency.
When I order something I want in three weeks, a month at the most.
not 2 years later, and only because a bunch of people had to complain to the better business bureau for something to happen. As it stands I Had the vest made some place else so now I've got two vest..
I will not retract any complaints I made, Mr Dale Shipman if you could not produce the merchandise in a timely fashion (not under 2 years later) then you should have given me my money back at the time. How Dare you! have the gal to ask me to remove my complaints, when I spend money I want the goods or my money back
as soon as you find out you can't produce the goods.
From the note I got with the vest, asking with an exclamation point at the end to retract my complaints, I figure You do not think you did anything wrong, which makes you either a ### who should be out of business or a thief who got busted, you tell me?
Item finally arrived. Took JUST under 2 years, but I did receive it.
A-1 Americanflags Dale Shipman stole 200.00 from my 8 year old son for a warriors vest we never received. Mr Shipman no longer answers his phone or E-mails. Why is this guy still allowed to use PAYPAL and the web to rip people off. Has anyone ever received a refund? There should be a class action suit against this ### and PayPAL and the web site that allows him to continue to rip people off.
I have ordered a leather jacket on august 1st 2007 and now is July 8th 2008 and Dale Shipman still has my money and I have never recieved my jacket for $700. He is just big liar. He just steals our money.
YOur not the last to complain about Dale. I also ordered a vest from him in oct 07. Let me know if there is anything being done about getting our money back. Thanks.

So I guess I am the next person to complain about this "guy".
I ordered my vest in October 2007. I have spoken to this man I would say between 12-18 times.
Every time I call I get the same response:
" Your vest is on it's way.." "...there was a delay in the shipping.." "...You will get your vest.." and then, my perosnal favotite, the cherry on top:
"... I appreciate your patience"
Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but my patience has packed up and moved out, A LONG time ago.
I want my money back, and I want it NOW.
If anyone has ANY information on any steps being taken to resolve this, get back to me.
Time to serve some justice for 8, 9, 10 however may people there are now!

Hey there, I originally submitted this complaint. I got one email from Morris up there, and seeing how I just checked this board, I just emailed everyone to see what's going on, if there are any legal actions being taken. Knowing that this dousche has cheated at least 6, 7, 8 people pisses me off to no end, but at least we can communicate now. I don't know if maybe we should communicate on this site or maybe an actual forum, but anyway, hope to hear from everyone!
I ordered a Warrior's vest from him in December. I still have no vest, no email replies, no phone calls, and my $200.
There needs to be some action. Please let me know if you are doing something, because I want to as well.

I also had the same thing happen to me. I ordered a vest from this company, and the last thing they told me was about the production problem in Pakistan. I to will be taking action to get my money back. If anyone wants to work together on this I will be glad to oblige. I ordered the vest in early December and still nothing.
The exact same thing happened to me I ordered a leather vest in early October and waited for delivery for months. I have e-mailed him constantly without any response, the last I heard from him was before Christmas where he said he would receive delivery from overseas by the 20th of December. It's now late February and still nothing, He's a fraud and needs to reprimanded. Rest assure I too will also see that I get my 200 dollars back, this is not the last he's going to hear about this.
A1AmericanFlags scam. Same thing happened to me. Dale Shipman stalled me until it was to late for paypal to do anything. pass the 45 day mark. So if there is anyone else out there that this has happend to please contact me or leave a post. May be we can work together.
