To keep this short and to the point, my wife and I purchased a one year (2 visit) a/c and heating service plan from Strayer Mechanical in Feb. 08. The plan was to get an overrall service check on our a/c and heat units in the Spring and Fall.
Spring visit: Oh wait, they didn't actually show up so I guess that's not a visit, right?
Fall visit: Wow, they didn't show up again! They did however call the morning of our set appointment and left a message stating they were in the area and would need to come now instead of later. My wife had taken off work that day so we could be there for the pre-determined and confirmed 3pm-4pm meeting, got home from running errands about 1:30pm, and heard the message. She called to make sure someone was still coming around 3pm and was told "No, it's no longer convenient for me to come today".
I called and spoke with Kathy and Kenny...I'd say they were both nice but not apparently not authorized to handle issues. I was supposedly going to get a call back from someone in management.
6 calls and one email later, I still have not heard from anyone. I'm demanding a refund of the measly $90-150 service plan. It's not about money, it's about principle!
It's just my opinion, but I would have to say that I won't be recommending this company to anyone that I don't have a grudge against!
