This site is a HUGE scam. They apparently signed me up from April 2008 till Dec 2010 every month $20.95 automatically to my credit card. They claim that I've signed up thru Restaurant.com with a 30 day free trial and did not cancel at the end of the trial period. THEY KEPT RIPPING ME OFF THE WHOLE TIME charging to the credit card. This is the biggest scam of the century. I really hate restaurant.com for such ILLEGAL practices of giving my Credit Card information to this scamsters.
I wish I used a Virtual credit card at the restaurant.com so that they would not automatically charge this stupid charges..
Apparently they say that they only communicate via Credit card statement and Nothing else. NO emails Nothing.. Very FIshy and Scammy. Until now I was thinking that this charge on my CC was from Amazon and not from these scamsters.
I called to cancel, and they did. But They will NOT refund my money for the past 2 yrs - really really BAD !
CAUTION: ALWAYS LOOK INTO YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS WITH EXTRA CAUTION. Especially these Scamy Websites like Restaurant.com NEEDS TO BE BLAMED AS THEY PROMOTE THESE SCAMSTERS.
I should've googled the phone number before and found out all the scams that these guys are doing. There are 2 big problems here, 1st restaurant.com should not automatically share my CC # with a 3rd party dealer and 2nd these guys are fradulent to the core. They do not send any communication, either via email or mail, that they are charging every month, unlike other legit websites.
They try to silently take money out of the account without any proper notice or a legit business.
Until I googled the phone # I didn't find all the problems associated with this Phoney Website and how huge scamsters these ppl are.
I do agree that there is my fault of not finding out about this shady business earlier from the CC stmt..
I wish there was a Class Action Lawsuit against these scamsters.

They just canceled the subscription not waived the charges though..

well, maybe if you would have checked your bank account you wouldn't have been charged every month since april 2008. sounds like this is your fault and you deserve what you got. also, why would they refund you for two whole years? it you wouldn't have been so stupid, you could have caught this the first month you were billed. idiot.
