Very poor 🤒
We don't know much about how 7-Eleven handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. But until that happens, we ask reviewers to be cautious when dealing with 7-Eleven and using their services, and to carefully read the experiences of other customers on ComplaintsBoard, because who is warned is armed, you know! 💪

7-Eleven free slurpees

My family and I went to the 7-11 on Lake June and Jim Miller on 7-11, which is Free Slurpee day. There were at least two other families walking inside. As we approached the door a line of people walked out stating that the machine was broken and they'd said, "It don't work!" On the door a notice was posted stating, "Machine No Working". Not only that, but this is a store my family and I frequent weekly if not more. To not ensure properly working machines on free Slurpee day, but the machines were working the day before and the machines will be working tomorrow lets me know that they are robbing our community and do not want to give back to those who come and support their business. My children walked away on free Slurpee day with their heads down because of the rude and cruel treatment of the people and management of that establishment. They can count out six patrons: if you lie about servicing the community who helps pay your bills, you don't deserve anymore of our money.

7-Eleven bad service

I want to complaint to about the 7-eleven, 4647 wilson rd. I went there this morning with my daughter because she wants to have cheese pizza. It was 10 in the morning and there was no hot food. I ask for cheese pizza. The cashier said, yes we have. I ordered two slices for my daughter but the other guy told me that we don't sell slices of cheese pizza, you buy peperoni. I said that we are vegetarian and want only cheese pizza. He said that they didn't sell cheese slices. I said all other 7- eleven sells then why don't you. He refused to make the slices rather he said take the whole pizza that will be cheaper. I said it is only my daughter who wants to eat cheese cheese then why should I buy the whole. But the guys didn't agree to cook. When I asked him whether he is the owner he said he is manager. If the manager will be like this how can cashier gives the good service. It's really really very bad 7- eleven. 7- eleven should not give the franchise to such illiterate and ill-mannered people. I told the guy that 7- eleven suggests to all its franchise to give the best service. I will never go back to that 7- eleven.

7-Eleven deli food

On 7/2/17 I went into the store (28511). As I am a rideshare driver I frequently stop at 7/11 store to fill, get food and use the bathroom. This day I purchased tuna salad with pita bites and garden salad with chicken. Placed the food into my cooler (where I keep cold water for my passengers ) and left. About an hour later I attempted to eat the chicken salad. The cucumbers where brown and soggy and the lettuce was turning. I checked the date and it had expired 2 days earlier. I checked the tuna and it expired one day earlier.

7-Eleven gyy 3 in 1 solar rechargeable collapsible led camping lantern or cheap knockoff of that product

I bought this Lantern thinking it looks really neat and would be useful in an emergency. I decided to see if the USB port would actually charge things and was checking to make sure that it actually worked. I hooked up my sons charger to his toy rock crawler it was a dynamite micro USB charger part number no. Dync 1060 here is how much it costs on Amazon and make an example out of it so you will understand what I am trying to describe. /dynamite-usb-charger-4-cell-48v-nimh-for-ecx-micro-dync1060_p/dync1060.htm?gclid=Cj0KEQjwnPLKBRC-j7nt1b7OlZwBEiQAv8lMLChllcO2wPu6lt4nXLRL7DjZqKEGJwd1SIIs1DTgqy4aAnln8P8HAQ

Took the lantern back and was refunded the money for the Lantern on my card although nothing was done to refund the amount of the charger that was destroyed. I was accused of trying to steal that that was a piece of the Lantern and I was trying to steal it. I was also told there was nothing that could be done to reimburse me. Too bad your son's toys broken and we're not going to help you. I didn't like being accused of being a thief and I don't like being sold a product that broke my son's toy and then refused to be reimbursed for my son's toy.

7-Eleven the worker locked the doors of the store when we came in to make a purchase.

The incident took place on July 2, 2017 at 11:31 pm Store #35427 in Dallas or Duncanville, TX. My husband and I went into the store to make a purchase. As we were getting the items to buy the worker locked the doors of the store before he checked us out. Once we realized what had just happened, we immediately went back into the store and questioned the worker about what he did and asked for a refund of our money. We were very disturbed about how we were treated, we have been faithful customers since the store was established as Exxon/7-Eleven. The worker treated us as if we were criminals and taking for granted that we are patronizing his business. No, we won't make or break his business, but by treating us in the manner that he did will cause the store to loose a great deal of business because word of mouth and technology is real. If he is just a worker, he should be fired. If he is the owner, the store should be closed, because he is representing Exxon/7-Eleven stores in a negative way.

7-Eleven employee

I have never been more disrespected by an employee than what just happened in your store in randolph new York. I don't know why this cashier is even still working there because this is now my third complaint and from my understanding this individual gets complaints on her all the time. I went in to get my 7th free cup of coffee started pouring said coffee into a cup. The cashier was talking about the big gulp cups of coffee being 79 cents. So I grabbed an empty big gulp cup went up to the cash register and scanned and payed for my free cup and asked her if it was okay if I used that cup for my coffee. She said yes so I went back poored my cup into the big gulp and filled it the rest of the way up. Already drinking my coffee When I got up to the register she then informed me that i could not use that cup. Already in awe I said what!?!? I just asked you and already payed for it! What do you want me to do dump it out? She said yes. Not wanting to waste it I drank a little bit more and poored it into the normal size cup. Which there was about 3-4 sips difference. Having just enough money for the taquito special I got up to the register and she tried to charge me for another full large coffee. I said what this is ridiculous I'm not paying for that. I didn't even have enough. Then she announced through the store that I was stealing in front of about 4-5 other customers. Luckily another customer payed for my coffee but I have never had anything like that happen and I want that employee held responsible for the embarrassment and disrespect. Every time I'm in there she has a terrible attitude. Last time I was in there me and a friend let her know the napkins were empty and she told me that she couldn't help me and sorry. I asked her if she could give me change for a dollar and she said no she s not allowed to give change. So I waited for my friend to cash out and then asked again for change while she had the drawer open. She again said no she wasn't allowed company rules. How does this person have a job.

7-Eleven one manager, one overbite employee apprehending armed robbery suspect with knife in hand outside front entrance of this one store.

On july 1st 2017, at 11:23pm. Witnessing one employee crunched over holding a
Customers hand, yelling, "let go, give me [censor] knife." witnessing this aame employee with red smock on and this one employee's left hand was also hitting the suspect with his right hand, while this one employee with the red smock was using his left hand and physically apprehending robbery suspect with knife still in his hand and this one employee with the red smock was holding the suspects right hand with knife in his fist. He/ the suspect was not resisting and was on the ground. One manager, short clean shaven, indian man with black / green smock, I believe he was mgr. Has and was also witnessed by videotaping of seven gas pump customers outside and all witnessed the mgr in green and black smock kicking the armed suspect on his left side while on the ground. Witnessed red smock employee apprehend and hitting punching slapping and cursing the suspect to let go of the knife. Lynn. Happened to have walked over to these two employees, which now showing yelling cursing hitting and kicking the man, as I leaned over to ask the red smock tall white man with curly long hair and asked him, "why are u hitting the man on the ground outside your store." this employee in red seven eleven smock claimed while holding this robbers right hand still holding the knife, "he tried to stabbed me," and I responded "o. K, what right do you have that you take a risk and risk turning your back on a store that is not watched." even while I existed to speak, I looked at mgr in seven eleven green smock and asked him, "and why are you and or what right do you have to be kicking him on his back and stomach. While holding the door open, and some customers inside store standing there, go get the phone stay inside" and so several others took camera phones and recorded it all. Yelling at the employees. "you all took it too far" & "this is not right guys, you placed all of us at risk, thank god there were no children around!" so this manager in green and black smock had the interior door entrance opened holding with his left hand, while his right foot was kicking the suspect while he was on the ground and at the same time he was holding the door open, the other employee in the red smock was holding the suspects right hand that had the knife and he was yelling beating and cursing let go of the [censor] knife"while the mgr held the front right side door facing from inside with cameras rolling (be advised security tv displayed pic of front interior on it's screen from inside store). So this mgr in green and black smock was holding and had the door open, whike kicking this man that was on the ground, and also at the same time he was kicking, his red smock employee was slapping and cursing and punching suspect in the face asking the robber" let go of the f'ing knife,...
I know that when we hire employees. We are given videos and tests. These tests and videos hold us accountable, but we also have a choice in choosing to be outstanding employee's without risks and/ or coroorate store violations. And you corporate, have told told us all employees and managers need to use protocol. Truly i'm disappointed that in the time it took to myself to respond to this mgr and to even get managers attention back focused on his store. I'm not the least bit surprised no one including the mgr dismissed even the customers inside this store, while mgr and employee was outside, and for the 14_18 minutes -:- something else could of happened.
Two officers from orlando florida police department came to the scene. At 3000 e. Colonial store on the corner of john young parkway, near the mcdonald's and near checkers. Woman ifficer arrived with her male partner. And inside store investigating cameras and man officer outside store arrested man in handcuffs. Clearly I was not at store at the time the incident happened inside the store. Even when the knife had been pulled or but never even know how the suspect/robber got on the ground on outside. So for me being an ex employee, and watching the employee and manager yelling beating and kicking this suspect while he was on the ground. This suspect was not resisting, yet from the time the suspect fell to the ground, to witnessing an employee in red smock with a ponytail white male, 40-ish, tall husky built, apprehending to physically touching and holding suspects right hand with knife, and using his left hand by beating the suspect on his face and side of his head. With right hand on the head and face. And to watch the mgr in green black smock kicking man while his left hand is holding the door open. Store was not in control. But yet customers inside watching both employee's outside store physically and verbally abusing this suspect. My belief is this when it comes to robbers or armed robbery suspects, no employee should take any physical risks. Not even owner or franchise mgr. So all in all seriously, my name is lynn schmidt and I worked for the rosalind ave, orlando fl store downtown location. Also worked for kirkman rd orlando fl seven eleven. Both are mr rogers stores. And I swear that we have protocol at our stores then and still do now.
I'm convinced with the police department reports, you will not find someone like me as an ex employee offering and encouraging those on active hours and an employee of seven eleven: "please do not to go this far, to this extreme next time!"
I am glad I was looking at the manager through the window on the outside and asked where he stood while inside holding phone and behind the registers. Looking at him, pointing to me and him, the phone in his hand and he was saying "i'm calling them now!" to get police on his way.
Investigate this situation and get back with me. Lynn. Schmidt [protected]...
Thanks

7-Eleven customer service

I went into the 711 in scotts valley ca to purchase cigarettes The price on the sign said 2 packs for 6.96 each. I made my purchase and it came upon high. The man at the counter told me that the sign was only for one type of camels and that the packs I bought were 8 each. I asked to switch to the pack that was on sale and he said ok. Then he said the price was coming up wrong and he needed to involve his manager. I waited for 10 min for her to show up and then she told me the price was meant for yet another type of cigarettes that were below and removed the sign and told me I had to pay 8 for the packs I selected . I told her that it was posted for the before and that I expected that price. She proceeded to yell at me in front of other customers saying I had to pay full price but she would do me this 'favor' and give me the posted price. Then when she went to refund the money she became angry and said next time YOU PAY ME FULL PRICE. I was so embarrassed. This was at 1220 on June 29. This woman has no business managing a store that serves customers with such an AWWFUL regard for customers. I will never go there again!

7-Eleven hot dogs, donuts, soda machines; any and all unwrapped food/drink items

Walked into 7-Eleven store on Broadway in Redwood City the evening of June 27, 2017 and saw employee using leaf blower to clean the floor resulting with dust and debris flowing all over hot dog grill, krispy creme donut cabinet and soda macines. Inquired with manager, who as we were leaving the store was outside in parking lot putting seat covers on in his car, whether this was considered a safe or sanitary means of cleaning the store.

7-Eleven false advertisement

When I went to the 7 eleven on the corner of chestnut and Belmont in Fresno Ca. I bought ice cream that advertised 2 for $3 it clearly said mix and match. It was an Oreo ice cream bar and a Twix ice cream bar. I also bought a Muscle milk that was advertised as 3.99. When I bought everything the ice creams came out to 1.99 each and the muscle milk came out to 4.29 all BEFORE taxes. I then told the store clerk and said it's not his problem since it doesn't say in the system. My reaction was that it was clearly advertised on the store but didn't seem to care. He didn't check for the advertisement and just rushed me since there was 2 people behind me. I'm complaining about both the price and the service I received.

7-Eleven rude cashier

Hello! I purchased an Arizona Orangeade fruit juice cocktail with my ebt card and the cashier shoved me my reciept to me. The cashier scanned my item and when she saw me swipe my ebt card she turned around and started stocking cigars and chewing tobacco. My purchase was approved and I waited for my reciept because she turned her back on me to stock. When she saw that I was waiting for my reciept I assumed it bothered her because she firmly pulled it from the machine, frowned at me, and rudely shoved it to me. I didn't confront her or say anything. I left out of the store wondering if I offended her because I wanted my reciept and she had to stop stocking items to give me my reciept. I usually ignore rude people buy this incident made me feel uncomfortable. Thank you for reading my complaint.

7-Eleven graveyard shift/ not having anything done

We have been in plenty of times on graveyard shifts to get coffee and nothing is ever done in this specific store, no coffee is made nothing on the counters, no breakfast food made! We have complained plenty of times before to the employees and their management team with nothing being done.. Something needs to be done as we were told from another 7-11 employee at a different location that they are getting all the customers from that one as no one wants to go there anymore as nothing is done so it's a waste of time. I have worked at a 7-11 so I know exactly how it's supposed to be run and what needs to be done.
