rude customer service
On 3 Sept 08, I had occasion to visit this store to use the ATM machine and purchase a bottle of water. When my turn came in line to deal with crew member Cathy Brooks, I placed my purchase on the counter well within her reach. She informed me I had to move the water container closer to her prior to her scanning it, I responded by inquiring if something was wrong with her arm which would inhibit her ability to reach for the bottle, which as I previously stated was well within her reach. I attempted to deflect the situation by ordering an additional purchase, however Ms Brooks continued her disrespectful tirade by stating "You Customers think"... at which point I canceled my purchases with the intent of departing the facility. Ms Brooks was still running off at the mouth at which time I requested of her shift crew member the name of the store manager (Maribeth Cue) and that of the disrespectful worker. She attempted to inhibit his giving me the information I requested by telling him I had no right to know who was being disrespectful to me. I made it very clear of my intent to file a complaint against her with the national office. I feel this action is necessary, when discussing the incident with my wife, she advised she does not shop there due this employee's negative attitude and inability to communicate with customers in a professional manner. Due to the negative impact of this incident, I too shall cease to frequent that facility unless I have need to use the ATM machine. I would appreciate your office making an inquiry to access whether this employee requires additional training regarding the proper way to interact with the paying public which frequent that facility or if the job is suitable for her and I also would appreciate your notifying me of your intent to investigate the incident.
horrible service
Their computer ordering system is terrible. There was no way for me to customize my sandwich order. I had to verbally tell the lady what I wanted. There was no one else ordering at the time, so I didn't think my order would be that hard to remember. Aparently, it was. I asked for italian sub, just the meat and cheese, no dressing, on white. I got the veggies, dressing, all on wheat. I don't expect a lot from a convenience store, but this is completely unacceptable. Also, their corporate website doesn't have an area to lodge complaints.
This is like the second time this has happened, that I have been rung up for something that I never bought. I'm partly to blame for the simple fact that I didn't notice until my husband showed me the receipt that asked what that was, however I had already gotten home and I know they wouldn't have refunded me (how would they actually know if I had purchased it or not.) Anyways it should have never happened in the first place. I don't know if they guy in front of me bought something and changed his mind and I somehow had to pay for the thing he didn't want. But it's really ANNOYING and makes me look like I'm lying to my husband. Lesson to all make sure you get what your paying for.
It's a shame that 7-11 has spent millions of dollars advertising the "Free Slurpy Day" in celebration of their 84th birthday and come to find out that the 7-11 close to my neighborhood shut the free slurpy day down at 11:30 am on the 11th of July. False advertisement is what it is. They lure you into thinking you are going to get a free slurpy but hell no. I've spent a lot of money at 7-11 but not anymore. How can a store quit giving away the free slurpy by 11:30 in the morning. The free slurpy deal was supposed to be from 12 noon on the 11th till 12 noon on the 12th. This damn store didnt follow the rules and they quit before it even started. The store is run by an idiot. This makes 7-11 in general look BAD. Keep up yoour poor performance and I'll gladly take my business to the local Loaf-N-Jug. You bet. They have better everything there and their stores dont stink with incompetence.
Went to 7-11 opened the beer cooler tried to take some out and they fell at me, one striking me in the head...my son went to get the cashier. My son said their was a spill the cashier said What THERE IS NO SPILL. My son said no my mom was hit in the head by some beer and they are spilling...he comes over to me saying oh great now I have to clean up this mess...now I smell like beer and the 7-11 people will think I have been drinking without any lack of concern for me the customer who was hit in the head. I told him you have the camera shot of me getting hit in the head..then he says oh are you ok? Then he states to another customer that he had no lunch its been busy and relief was coming at 5 pm...this happened at 3:15 on Friday July 20. 2017.
So you have been drinking, and you were clumsy and unbalanced which made you drop the beer on your head. If you had been sober this would not have happened.
Donna freeze, what is rude is people like you not bothering to get a job and using our money to feed yourself. I can't believe you have the nerve to complain about them just following policy. it is not their fault you overspent on your food stamps card. If you don't bother getting a job then she has every right to make an example out of you. I think instead of boycotting that store they will gladly go back. Telling you no is not rude. Following policy is not rude. However using people's tax money to buy food, and not bothering to get a job is rude and disrespectful.
Also if you are on food stamps why do you have internet access? Is our tax money paying for that?
I was in the 711 on veterans highway in levittown pa...I was getting some food and I went to use my food stamp card but i only had 4.00 on it I was told in a VERY rude way by the owner of the store I must spend 5.00 in order to use my card ..I told her I only had 4.00 on there but I wanted to pay for my hot dog and chips and soda she rudely said to me oh well then you cant have it...and threw the hot dog in the trash right in front of me and other people that were there...I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life...therefore I would like to file this complaint...and will never go to that 711 again also I let alot of my friends and family know how she treated me and ask them to boycott that 711
NOT false. The free slurpees are from 7am to 11PM on july 11th only
and all advertisements state "While supplys last" most stores run out fast from many cust who store hope as many stores as they can
Thats it i've had enough of Big Business not doing what they say they will do. Iam now on the phone on a conference call to The Baez/Cheney Law Firm trying to determine if the actions of 7-11 are criminal & they have informed me that If the State is seeking the Death Penalty to call them back.
I agree with this guy and top of it 7-11 should only be open from 7AM to 11PM or they should change their name, I know let’s file a class action lawsuit and only settle for a lifetime supply of cherry slurpees, not the Coca Cola ones just Cherry. We will have Craine, Poole, and Schmidt represent us.
7-11 is not subway, if you want to make your own sandwich go there. However, if the sandwich maker said that she would make you one than it should have been done right, or she should have said no. Perhaps the issue would be resolved quicker and better if you went to the manager instead of trying head office.
If you go to the website there is a place to lodge complaints under CONTACT US.
I just got home from a 7-11 in vancouver wa, I got some nacho's with cheese & tomatoes . the tomatoes were bad so I called the store and was told thay would check them, when I asked if I could bring them back and get some without tomatoes I was told NO and that I was out of luck. So I was looking for a place to complain to with no luck.

I have been trying to buy my children a Slurpee for three days.
Each time I go, the machine is broken.
I have been to two locations in three days.
Each time the manager or clerk states the machine will get fixed.
Today when I spoke to the manager, they wouldn't even give me their name.
I am trying to recreate the memories of my dad taking me for a treat after school, but I can't even do that simple thing because of broken machines, uncaring managers and lack of customer service.
In the city I once lived in, one of the news stations had a consumer advocate who inspected restaurants and convenience stores.
He often found cockroaches, rats and "Slime in the ice machine" (Bacteria).
If the 7-11 stores can't even keep their machines running, I seriously doubt that they are keeping them safe and up to health standards.
I don't want to enjoy a beverage, then die from an illness as a result.
I would like to see the City of Dallas food and beverage inspection for this establishment.
Sincerely,
Al Castillo
The manager of 7-11 has no control over when the slurpee machine gets fixed. They put in a report and have to wait for head office to send out a technician. All the manager can do is continue to call it in. Sometimes it takes as long as 3 days if it's busy or a long weekend.
Regarding upkeep, the machines are serviced at least twice a year. If it breaks they do a cleaning too. Cleaning the machines is a daily chore (the trays get full and have to be emptied, and graveyard has to wipe it all down)
You did mention how differently US 7-11's are run. In the States it's franchised so there isn't the inspection control there is in Canada...unfortunately.
The 7-11 that doesnt have the Slurpees is in San Diego near my home.
Its store number 18710 at 430 Spruce Street
The only reason I bother stopping at 7-11 is the hopes of a slurpee. Over half the stores have such crummy managers they dont load the Slurpee machines.
Usually if you have usa raised people running the store they understand the importance of the Slurpee machines, but the imigrant people just leave them off and dont care about them. It is horrible since for me the Slurpee machine is huge major comfort food I cant ever get anymore and its so depressing.
Where can I write to get them to fix this?

I've worked for a franchise 7 eleven store for about 4 months now. Today they decide to fire me for supposedly coming in and clocking in on my day off when I have witnesses who will state that I never went in that day, but thats the least of my worries. I worked with a Hispanic woman named Veronica, she was a hard worker but it seemed that every time she received her weekly paycheck her child support was taking almost her whole check so she threatened to quit.
The owners of the franchise store didn't want her to leave and asked what they could do for her in order for her to stay. They came to an agreement that they would fire Veronica and then Rehire her under a false name (Monica) and a false Social Security number so she wouldn't have to pay her child support.
They also hired Jaimie who previously worked for that store, but was fired when it became corporate because her background had a misdemeanor for child endangerment on it. When the new owners bought the store they hired her back knowing about her record and she had also stolen from the store. Jaimie was also my roommate and manager and was mad at me when I explained to her that I would be moving out because of her husband doing illegal drugs in front of their 3 year old.
It seems to be that Jaimie was the one to clock me in that day because as manager she has that authority. There's no doubt that the owners of this store are fony and could get in major trouble, and I plan to make that happen.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
the isp comuter should show an "M" for manager modification
in the payroll module. This cant be changed if it was done. Just have an lawer get that record and you set.
7-Eleven - Bad gas problem!
I purchased fuel from the 7-11 gas station on post road in indianapolis, indiana back in october 2005 while on my way to new york. I put about 13 gallons of gas in my 2004 isuzu rodeo, bought some refreshments and got back on the interstate. Less than 3 miles down the road my car began to lurch and billow thick clouds of white smoke out of the exhaust. I...

The 7 eleven in Kingsley ave and Indian hill blvd in pomona has the rudest customer service ever!
I was buying stuff and some guy in the counter wearing a white tshirt said "no you can't use debit cards here!"" "we get charged $1 or .50" when I was about to pay for some chips and get $1 cash back. ok so why is there a credit card pad where you can buy and pay for anything? there is no sign of ANY REQUIREMENT to pay at all. so everyone can't pay for their items? will he tell this to everyone and loose possible sales? This needs to be fixed.

I happen to work at a 7-eleven in connecticut. And I'd just like to say ### you both, personally. We're underemployed, and they treat US like ###. Your pussys must really hurt to have to piss and moan. Im 20 years old, and Ill tell you this; I meet a new ### everyday at my store. We hear so many ###in problems we should all have 'bartender' tattooed on our foreheads. Then have the balls to tell me how to do my job? Next customer to try to ### up my day im going to request the address of where they work with a schedule, so I can ### up their day on THEIR time. And I'd like to conclude this with some advice; ### you, have a nice day. Oh yeah...thank you, come again. ###ers.
i was at 7eleven, last night in williamsburg on jamestown rd, and, there was this person named jermont, said ### you, to his co-worker, in front of my 3 kids, getting 3 slurpees, ...let me also say...that girl(don't know her name) was working on the coffee area, and he so disrespected her! i am sorry but this was so disrespectful, i will no longer give my buisness to that 7eleven again! i must admit, i am partial to this girl, shes always so sweet, and makes me feel welcome, and even makes me feel apperciated to be there...i'm sorry but when i heard this and seen this i was pizzed! thaks for hearing me out!
On September 23, 2008, I visited the following 7-11 to get gas:
100 W Spring Creek Pkwy
Plano, TX 75023
When prompted for a car wash, I could not press 'no' because the text on all the buttons were unreadable. So I walked into the building, waited in line for the cashier, who rudely told me to go move my car to another pump.
I told him that was unnecessary because he could input the info for me--that is, I didn't want a car wash. With that, he asked for my card, then asked me how much gas I wanted. I told him I didn't know--whatever it took to fill up. He told me to go do it, then return to him to sign.
He then grabbed the card from my hand, and as I turned to go do as he ordered, I spun around and told him I didn't need to do business after all with this company and put up with his rudeness. He replied, "That's fine."
Out the door went. I'll never do business there again, and I'll never do business with 7-Eleven again unless I get an apology.
Thank you.
