7-Eleven employee assaulted me

Two days ago on Monday February 1 St around 830am, I went into my local 711, which is a block away from where I stay so needless to say I go there probably once a day. I was getting a cup of coffee and a donut for my son. I help a lady with her coffee and had small talk with her in line, she said " I'll buy your coffee and donut this morning and I responded twice with no thank you that's OK and she insisted, while in line so obviously our conversation was herd. I waited with her till she finished paying, then proceeded to hold open the door for her. While I was walking away around the corner I hear a guy yell at me saying stole the coffee, I turned and said excuse me? He repeated and I said no I didn't and turned away to walk, he then grabbed me, as I pull ed away he punched me in the back of my head! I turned in shock then he punched me in the eye! Instead of whopping this guys ### I said I'm calling the cops and he turned around and just walked back into the store. Since when are employees allowed to not only come out of the store and insult my character, but also physically assault someone's. I contacted corporate as soon as I got home, still no call back after 48 hours. I will be speaking to my lawyer and the public about this matter.

7-Eleven stupidly dumb service and terrible product

I am here to talk about the 7-eleven at 600 S Frontenac St, Aurora, IL 60504. Me and two of my friends are walking to seven eleven we take the time to go to the store as a customer. We get there and we pick out some stuff that we want sounds good right, NO. The slurpee machine was completely out no flavors and my friends and I were all going to get one, ok maybe that's okay but we also pick out a few slim jim's when we ate them they tasted terrible they were STALE AND OLD.(they were expired product I for one know that is an illinois health code violation they should be shut down) then we also buy some chips, ohhhh guess what... STALE AND OLD. I also tried to buy and xbox card the SLOW ### cashier (the other purchases took 10 minutes also) takes literally 10 minutes scanning one card and then he has to call over the manager of the store just to tell him what is wrong and then 5 minutes later tell me that there is no network and there can be no cash loaded cards today. And lastly my other friend tries to but something and he hands him ONE 20 DOLLAR BILL "emphasis on the one" and looks and pokes at every item he set down and asks "cash" first no he' gonna pay you with the INVISIBLE FRICKING UNICORN ABOVE YOU no the 20 dollar bill he gave you obviously and secondly why did you ask IF HE WAS PAYING WITH CASH OBVIOUSLY A KID DOESN'T HAVE A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD [censored]. Personally I am outraged by this.

7-Eleven market square shopping center

RE: 7-11 located in Market Square Shopping Center, Casselberry, FL I had been shopping at this shopping center for years. My weekly routine had always been the following: Go in to the Spanish market, get my weekly bag of groceries, fill up the tank with gas at the 7-11 right in front of it, check my air, and then go home. Once in a while the family and I would go to Smokey Bones to eat out. Today, I went in to the market, got a few items and when I walked over to 7-11 there is this tow truck already has my car up. I explain to the man that I had just walked in and out, but he refused to get my car down. I told him my routine, but he said the 7-11 had hired them because they had some problems with people parking there to go into the market. He coerced me into giving him $60 to take my car down, or he would tow it and then it would cost me $120.00. As of today, I will never do business with ANY of the merchants at Market Square in Casselberry. The merchants should know what 7-11 is doing. Will never, ever do business with any merchant there.

By Texas law notification must be given as quickly as possible after it has been determined that an individual’s sensitive personal information was, or is reasonably believed to have been, acquired by an unauthorized person. However, the notification may be delayed as necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system or at the request of law enforcement to avoid compromising an investigation.

What is the penalty for failure notify?

Section 151.151 of the law provides for a penalty for failing to comply with this notification requirement is a civil penalty of up to $100.00 per individual per day for the delayed time but is not to exceed $250, 000 for a single breach.

WASHINGTON -- 7-Eleven Inc. was among more than a dozen companies hacked in what the U.S. Department of Justice is calling the largest such scheme ever prosecuted in the United States. A federal indictment made public Thursday in New Jersey charges five men with conspiring in a worldwide hacking and data breach scheme that targeted major corporate networks and stole more than 160 million credit-card numbers.

Unsealed court documents allege that as a result of the scheme, financial institutions, credit-card companies and consumers suffered hundreds of millions in losses, including more than $300 million in losses reported by just three of the corporate victims and immeasurable losses to the identity theft victims in costs associated with stolen identities and false charges.

The defendants allegedly sought corporate victims engaged in financial transactions, retailers that received and transmitted financial data and other institutions with information they could exploit for profit. The defendants are charged with attacks on NASDAQ, 7-Eleven, Carrefour, JCP, Hannaford, Heartland Payment Systems, Wet Seal, Commidea, Dexia, JetBlue, Dow Jones, Euronet, Visa Jordan, Global Payment, Diners Singapore and Ingenicard. It is not alleged that the NASDAQ hack affected its trading platform.

According to the second superseding indictment unsealed Thursday in Newark federal court and other court filings, the five men each served particular roles in the scheme. Vladimir Drinkman, 32, of Syktyykar and Moscow, Russia, and Alexandr Kalinin, 26, of St. Petersburg, Russia, each allegedly specialized in penetrating network security and gaining access to the corporate victims' systems. Roman Kotov, 32, of Moscow, allegedly specialized in mining the networks Drinkman and Kalinin compromised to steal valuable data. Court documents allege that the defendants hid their activities using anonymous web-hosting services provided by Mikhail Rytikov, 26, of Odessa, Ukraine. Dmitriy Smilianets, 29, of Moscow, allegedly sold the information stolen by the other conspirators and distributed the proceeds of the scheme to the participants.

Kalinin and Drinkman were previously charged in New Jersey as "Hacker 1" and "Hacker 2" in a 2009 indictment charging Albert Gonzalez, 32, of Miami, in connection with five corporate data breaches--including the breach of Heartland Payment Systems Inc., which at the time was the largest breach ever reported. Gonzalez is currently serving 20 years in federal prison for those offenses.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York announced two additional indictments against Kalinin: one charges him in connection with hacking certain computer servers used by NASDAQ and a second indictment, unsealed today, charged Kalinin and another alleged Russian hacker, Nikolay Nasenkov, with an international scheme to steal bank account information by hacking U.S.-based financial institutions. Rytikov was previously charged in the Eastern District of Virginia with an unrelated scheme. Kotov and Smilianets have not previously been charged publicly in the United States.

Drinkman and Smilianets were arrested at the request of the United States while traveling in the Netherlands on June 28, 2012. Smilianets was extradited on Sept. 7, 2012, and remains in federal custody. He will appear in New Jersey federal court to be arraigned on the superseding indictment on a date to be determined. Kalinin, Kotov and Rytikov remain at large. All of the defendants are Russian nationals except for Rytikov, who is a citizen of Ukraine.

If convicted, the maximum penalties for the charged counts are: five years in prison for conspiracy to gain unauthorized access to computers; 30 years in prison for conspiracy to commit wire fraud; five years in prison for unauthorized access to computers; and 30 years in prison for wire fraud. The charges and allegations contained in the indictment are merely accusations, and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.

A spokesperson for Dallas-based 7-Eleven Inc. told CSP Daily News that it "does not intend to comment on the matter."

U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman of the District of New Jersey; Acting Assistant Attorney General Mythili Raman of the Justice Department's Criminal Division; and Special Agent in Charge James Mottola of the U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Criminal Investigations, Newark, N.J., Division announced the charges. The USSS led the investigation of the indicted conspiracy.

7-Eleven selling expired products

The 7-Eleven on Sunrise Highway in Copiague, NY, is selling expired milk. On at least three occasions in the last 2 weeks I've gone into that 7-Eleven to buy milk and they have had milk on the shelves that expired on 6/26/15 on ALL occasions. Today I had to reach all the way into the back to find milk that was not expired. There were only two 1% milks that were not expired on the shelves.

Went to 7eleven in Aiea purchased a Boost Mobile card so I could pay my bill. I got to the cashier and told her that I needed to buy a Boost Mobile re-boost card, she pulled the card from her rack with all the cards that they have for sell and began ringing me up, I gave her $60.00 dollars for a $50.00 dollar credit which goes on the card. However this was the first time I had to put my number in their credit card looking machine other times I would give the store clerk the money for the card and in return I would be given the card that I purchased to pay for my bill and on that card is a 10 to 14 digits numbers that I am to give to Boost Mobile so that the numbers tell Boost how much to credit to my bill. Long story short the store clerk made the mistake and now I have to pay for their mistake so wrong and bad for business. when at a job no one should be helping anyone if they do not know what they are doing. I would have been more comfortable being told that they do not know how to do that. Now I have to go to that store when it is not even where I live. Basically I got to go back to the store in the morning. I purchased the card for a specific reason; I work the graveyard shift and need to sleep. Regardless I should not have to waste my gas and my time for something that 7eleven failed to teach their employees.

7-Eleven predatory unethical practices

7-Eleven “Discriminates/Retaliates” against Its “OWN” Corporate Employee that tried whistle blowing for reporting a violation of securities which is covered under The Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
7-Eleven fails to keep former Dallas office corporate employee (PII) personal identifiable information and medical information secure.
Contractor disclosing her personal identifiable information verbally speaks out her social security, full address and pay information verbally in a meeting in front of other co-worker and contractors.
Same contractor had un-controlled system access which leaded him to see her, medical information, well as all her personal information.
Surely invasion of her privacy took place, which then leaded her to much critical harm.
Upon further investigations, data was not being encrypted as per company policies, which contained the names, Social Security numbers and addresses of the employee individuals which included other details, such as driver's license numbers, compensation for all employees’.
Corporate former corporate employee “struggled a lot”, to resolve the issue in this matter, although7-Eleven denied wrong doing as outcome.
(I’m sure with the evidence she holds, 7-Eleven will not deny any wrong doing in court)
Former 7-Eleven Corporate employee feared for speaking up, that she may lose their job as a result of employers not following the securities policies, although no support from her management team; this unlawful situation then had leaded former corporate employee to go under critical adverse actions, retaliation, and discrimination.
A very experienced information technology specialist who worked for 7-Eleven, Inc. for over 2 years states that, she was forced to resign due to retaliation, hostile work environment, discrimination and for Whistle blowing for reporting a violation of securities which is covered under The Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Upon giving her 2 weeks “constrictive notice”; she was fired as wrongful termination bases immediately through via email.
Former corporate employee was not even given opportunities to collect her personal belongings from her desk. Month later, her personal belongings were mailed to her.
Former7-Eleven corporate employee feels that it’s her duty to expose the injustices she underwent and witnessed securities issues.
Over the past several years, 7-eleven has lost many dozens of laptops with un-encrypted data which included personal secure information, most of them out of the vehicles.
This is loss of data, is impossible to put value. Yet, what a shame, with continued predatory unethical practices with the own corporate employee.

7-Eleven blowing the whistle on privacy act/data breach

Dear, 7-Eleven Employee’s
Blowing the Whistle on Privacy Act/Data Breach
7-Eleven failed to keep 7-Eleven Employees’, personal information safe
A former female corporate employee at Dallas corporate office headquarters was fired due to retaliation and unlawful termination. During scope of her employment, her personal information was breached, by a contractor without her consent.
Individual involved leaked her information and breach came down to harm her in many ways. Potentially responsible management did not pay attention to her concerns.
Later on, former female corporate employee discovered that 7-Eleven (IT) information technology department was failing to secure ALL 7-Eleven employee’s (PII) personal private information like social security #, date of birth, pay, dependants information, which indeed violated many federal laws, like Privacy Act of 1974, Privacy Principles, data breach and their own security policies.
Former female corporate employee raised her concerns ongoing, with respect to her privacy safety and security and respect to rest of ALL 7-Eleven employees’ security privacy.
Former female corporate employee raised her concerns to management which she believed to be data breach. Months later, management Individual’s involved in wrong doing claimed to have done nothing wrong with keeping up with employee personal information. Dispute to the fact, former female corporate employee provided evidence of the violations.
Disputes to her valid concerns, management individual’s involved in violating the federal laws of keeping employee’s information secured resulted in to covering up the situations with false statements.
Former female corporate employee has struggled a lot mentally and emotionally due to retaliation and unlawful termination.
Former female corporate employee recently was at Baylor emergency due to SUICIDE reason, caused by INVASION OF HER PRIVACY and also with emotional stress due to retaliation and unlawful termination.
7-Eleven could do a better job with understanding the root cause of the issue, including protecting corporate employee victim from invasion of privacy harm caused by unfair work practice; rather than retaliating and terminating the employee who tried to blow the whistle.

7-Eleven failed to follow federal privacy policies and their own security policies for securing all employees’ secured information.
Necessary, legal action is being taken to protect former female corporate employee, who has and still facing many harms.
At this time, when concerns about the privacy and security of electronic health records is a hot topic.
We allege that 7-Eleven knowingly and repeatedly violated (PII) privacy personal information, HIPAA law and failed to take necessary action in protecting employee’s personal information
ANY 7-Eleven former and or current employees’ who could be exposed to identity theft, lost of confidential financial information, may be due to un-protected information being stored in 7-Eleven systems .

7-Eleven dont want to take change

I have seen numerous times where you go into this stores, children as well as adults try to pay with change and the employees gives the customer a hard time. we explain that change spends as well as dollar bills. Seems to me that they don't want to take out the time to count change. I writing this complaint because the store is near the middle school in Hackensack and it gets flooded with young children all the time and I feel they should not be subjected to this type of treatment. They are making a poor name for all 7eleven.

With your spelling, grammar I seriously doubt you are old enough to play the lottery, that and the fact that you mistake not having your way as rudeness. She probably already knew you were too young to play the lottery and that is why she made it difficult for you to purchase a ticket.

7-Eleven brainless senior staff

Sunday morning, 28th Dec 2014.
I went to the nearest 7-11 to get a D size battery for my son's birthday gift's toy. I was in the hurry (u know precious weekend), I took the batter from the rack(behind counter as door is open, and both 2 staff are relaxing. one with phone, and one siting on the floor).
Went back home, take out the pair of D size battery from the package, and found the batter is flat. Immediately, I bring the battery back to the shop asking for exchange. While the smiling junior staff do not know what to do, and ask for the senior advise who was in the office, while walking out from the office, with kind of expecting my return, first word from the mouth was, "we do not accept exchange!" I told her, the battery is flat, no electricity, she said again, how we sell it when you had already open it? I reply again, how am I going to use and find out it is flat without open it? without wasting further time, I ask to print out the receipt(as I was in the hurry without getting the receipt earlier), and leave instantly to look for other shop ASAP, as precious weekend, should not ruin by these joker.
Usually 7-11 staff are friendly! but this of not! they are rude! brainless!
Although this is a simple problem, but what if every staff in the shop does the same thing? where is our consumer rights?
I will take this seriously!

You have no right if you do not have the proof of purchase i.e. Receipt. How the workers going to explain to their bosses? How the workers sure you are not returning some old batteries?

This place is good only for candidates who come-up with technical ability and willingness to learn new things faster. Its a place where they are not providing any training and its basically an IT company. Also the guy who posted this complaint should have posted this unknowingly with regards to some other company. He doesn't seem to know about the company itself first of all.

7-Eleven employee rudeness

12/5 9:02PM 7-Eleven nightmare. Brandy the cashier was extremely rude. I walked in said hello she just looked at me with a puss on her face. Then she got irritated when I corrected her on which cigarettes I asked for. Then during this whole time she has her friends hanging out in the store, leaning all over the counters, playing on their cell phones. Making the customers feel very uncomfortable. I felt like I was in the ghetto or in Harlem. I thought Stallings was a respectable, quaint little town...now it is turning into ghetto trash hanging out with the rude ghetto employee.

I was told me checks were declined due to use history. I generally do you my debit card but am currently waiting for it in the mail. Since I do not bounce checks and you do not want my money, I am on your website looking for retailer that use this service in order to blacklist them from an purchases I have in the future. I should not have to apply for credit to use my checking account.

Yesterday I bought $15 in gas and since I'm a tourist (no zip code for the credit card) to pay I had to handle the card AMEX to the clerk then today besides the $15 of gas that I paid for I found an additional charge of $85 on my card. Same store 1 minute later...

WOW! This must be a National 7-Eleven thing going on: I've been to several 7-Elevens here in San Diego County where the cashier/clerk had their friends 'hanging out', laughing, calling each other names, playing with their cell phones, all-over the counters, etc., etc., etc.!

No its not bull - $85 is the standard amount of a pre authorization hold.
This hold can last on your card for weeks. It is the Bank that is not removing it not 7 eleven - it will drop off . It works like this
you use your card for gas $85 pre auth is sent to your bank, - bank oks the card for $85. you pump $50 - a refund for $35 is sent to your bank.
final charge is $50 Some banks are fast and some are realy slow at this.
call your bank and ask them to remove the charge.

I have experienced that once. That is actually a HOLD they put on your credit card when you go inside and pay to the clerk if you don't tell them the actual amount you are paying. Yeah That is some BULL!

7-Eleven medical leave

Got diagnosed with ovarian cancer and wanted to work up until my surgery but my manager took me off the schedule and gave my hours to a new co-worker. Even after i was told not to worry about anything i was blind sided by this out come.
The manager does not return my phone calls or my text messages.
This manager does not understand the severity of what has been done.
It just proves that there is no trust among people irregardless of the situation.
We are a sad society when we as managers do not care about how decisions may effect a employee and only focus on the business.
A big company like 7-11 should have more integriety then this. No wonder they go through staff like Tim hortons does donutss.
