3ix is the worst hosting company I ever used. They kept disconnecting my sites because of 'high server load' and they did nothing to isolate the cause. They just kept on suspending my account, and when I asked about their explanation, they just said 'your site is causing high server load'. I asked them to fix and apparently, after a week of series of chat support to them, they can't fix their own freaking server.

I am so disgusted with their service that I asked to have my money back. It so obvious that what they are doing to my account is infuriating. That worst part of this company is, they will not return your money in any way possible.

Customers who have bad experience with this company will never, ever, get their money back.

    $3 received, - well it's still no compensation for what they did to my website but I'm happy leave 3IX for my own peace of minds sake! Here's EIGHT good reasons that I left 3IX:

    1. My website was frequently down, for how long who really knows?
    2. The UK support phone number would never be answered so I could never speak to a UK based representative, despite trying many times
    3. I could also never speak with a US representative despite trying many times.
    4. My IP was being blocked by the network somewhere at their end. This would always happen when I needed to do some work on it. 3IX were never able to fix the problem and it happened for most of my time with 3IX.
    5. The server that my website was on went down for an extended period, I was assured that it would come back, but,
    6. When it came back up the website was a week old ie, all transactions, data and edits made during the last week were completely lost
    7. There was a further folder with ~5GB of files that were also lost
    8. Worst of all, 3IX told me that they could do nothing about it as there were no backups !!!

    So there you have it, my reasons for finally leaving 3IX. 3IX claim to be 'my partner in the business', but being with 3IX was a lesson in frustration! Many wasted hours trying to deal with useless technicians who would just make up excuse after excuse and never fix the problem. The most ridiculous and diabolical service I've ever experienced!!!

    The $3 refund will never compensate me for that lost time and frustration. 3IX let me down massively and was a complete service failure!

    I can vouch for 3IX being crap. I have the same problems, site being down most of the time, and the service is meaningless. Seems more often network/firewall related than the servers because if I ping the webserver IP I can see that it's up and down all the time. Here's my transcript from my complaint today:

    3ix neither pays affiliate credits to clients nor renew their accounts by using affiliate credits.

    0 Votes is rip-off from top to bottom. For about 2 years, has held on to one of my domains and won't let it go. I intentionally did not pay to renew and told them why, but no matter what I do or how much I plead with them, they will not let my domain go. I want to have it hosted by another provider I've had good relations with for 15 years. Their support operation is a sad joke. Who are they certified by? Let's go over their heads and threaten to pull the plug on them.

    Had resellers package with them sites went down constantly and emails,
    All they had to say was its working dont contact support !!!

    I left them and paid again for proper hosting.

    Avoid They are a bunch of indirect scammers. Their website provides uk and usa contact numbers. Ring the UK number 365days and see if someone will ever pick up the phone.
    Uptime is less than 50%. If you happen to ask for a refund, you will never ever get it. Very unreliable and liars. It is a one man business and the he/she chats with many names and under different departments.
    If you are hosting your website with them, then your best bet is to start looking around as soon as you can. They are not good for any type of business. Watchout if you do not want to collapse one day from high blood or heart attack.

    agree, and their live support cannot support you AT ALL!!!
    i applied their affiliate, and now i have more that $50 so i asked them transfer money back to my paypal account, it's been almost 1month, they never reply my email or support ticket, i asked their live support, what they can say is "will get back to you ASAP", and they kept saying ASAP for a month.

    I've hosted with 3ix for over a year until recently.

    First of all, they deleted every file from my website. I started to put files back on and they terminated my account the next day or so.

    I asked support why it was terminated, they only said it violated their terms of service but I only had 2-3 files on the server!

    They seemed to be ok for a while, even though outages are an issue. But if your website with them gets any good traffic, expect your website to be terminated without warning.

    These guys are a joke. When I say "Guys" I mean "GUY". It's one guy in Texas! He's a reseller. He's like 8th down the line of resellers (a reseller of a reseller of a reseller of a reseller of a reseller of a reseller of a reseller etc etc).

    I was with them/him for a year. Thought it was too good to be true. Something happened after the year when I then paid my 2nd installment; loads of email server started blocking the emails I was sending. This happened once before with a previous server hence the move. I checked the IP and there were over 730 websites hosted on the SAME SHARED IP (the recommended limit is 100). So I went through the whole thing with Hotmail who send me a spreadsheet of the amount of mail being sent to their servers. It was an eye-opener, I can tell you. 2500+ on one day just to Hotmail, with a 0.07% recipient success rate! No wonder they were blocking it!

    But the problem is that seems to use different IPs for everything. One for your hosting, one that YOU see when you send mail and one that the recipient sees when they GET your email. And one that changes each time you send email. I purchased as add-on of a dedicated IP for one of my domains, but this made no difference and the mail was still being sent by the blocked server.

    Moved to a better known host now, much better service. Actually know what is going on. But I guess that's because they're more than just a guy in a house... Still battling to get a refund out of him at the moment.

    this hosting company simply sucks. they can't reply your tickets, sales chat is hopeless and one more thing, they offer a money back guarantee, but they just dont give it back, this is cheating, this is fake, at any given cost i suggest the owner of the company that the price in which they are offering hosting is unbeatable, but the technical staff has to change if he wants to stay in this business for long...but for mean while, i will say this is the worst company and it is not worth.

    I agree with you guys. 3iX is a fradulant company and keep cheating with their customers. I being the latest victim, has launched 5 websites with recently. Every day out site is missing for more than 5 times...n recently 10 days went comletly missing. I tried sevaral times chatting with them and even raised a ticket and evertime I was given the same answer like will be up by 2 hours.

    I jsut want to take it to authority. CAn anyone suggest me where to report this.

    I thought I would get an uber-cheap host while developing the beginnings of a game development company.

    Unfortunately, my research led me to 3ix. In the months since beginning my account in May, I have had the pleasure of dealing with the following frustrating problems:

    - Invoking before page loading, which caused a delay on any page loaded. Solution: Support "did something", and it worked.
    - MySQL database wipe, and support's inability to restore from a backup. Solution: I had to redo part of my website. I implemented my own custom backup system "just in case" it happened again.
    - Inability to send email to my Mailman mailing list. Solution: Tech support "did something" and it worked.
    - Inability to send email with a mail client configured on standard SMTP port 25. Solution: Support suggested I reconfigure the mail client to use port 26. Still fighting on this one.

    All I can say is, you get what you pay for. I will not renew my account with 3ix, and I am in the process of finding a new host.

    I am hosting two websites with hosting comapny -

    They provide hosting for as low as $1 per month and this was the reason I thought to host with them just like thousands of other users who have hosted with them.

    I was stunned to see that my domains hosted with them has doorway subdomains with adverisements and malware.

    I checked my cpanel and amazingly there were actually no sub domains in cpanel.

    Those subdomains were actually created secretly through DNS entries by so that they can serve advertisements and malwares without being caught by


    So I did a Reverse DNS lookup and found that all domains hosted by them are suffering from the same issue.

    They are cheating their users and now all the sites hosted with them are in danger as this will be considered as spam by Search engines and all sites can be

    banned anytime.

    I would strictly advice to stay away from this web hosting company.

    I agree 100% ! I have never had such a bad provider. Sites keep dissapearing more than 20 times a day. DO NOT USE THEM!! NOT EVEN FOR A PRIVATE SMALL SITE! Reliable service does NOT EXIST AT ALL. DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING POSITIVE.
