22hourprint.com / Poor print job
We contacted 22hourprint.com for a printing job on April 15, 2008. We needed to print 1, 000 color mailers - each mailer consisting 3 sheets, printed on both sides.
They took the order and printed the mailers. When we received them on April 21, 2008, we were extremely disappointed by the poor print quality. Most of the pages had faded print and colors in many places. Words, pictures and graphs were quite faded and unprofessional. In the digital file that we sent 22hourprint, our phone number was in bright red color. After their print job, it was in LIGHT GREEN!
We had created a very vibrant and colorful mailer, but the printed material looked so dull! We expected a quality print job from them.
This has delayed our business plans and we were totally unsatisfied with your work. We requested an immediate refund of the total amount we paid them on April 22, 2008.
It took them ONE MONTH (May 23, 2008) and numerous messages to refund the order cost back to us after we received their poor quality print job.
When we sent the mailers back to them, they asked that we send the mailers back via priority mail in flat rate boxes, and they agreed to refund the return shipping costs ($31.35) as well.
We asked them to send us a check for the shipping costs if they are unable to return to our business credit card. As of today (July 2, 2008), they have simply ignored our request.
Even though they agreed this return was due to their poor print quality and they would reimburse us for the return shipping, they now say that they will not pay us! They will not send a check or money order for our return shipping costs, as promised. They simply want to defraud us. This is unethical and outright lying. This company does not care about customers or job quality. BUYER BEWARE: Do NOT hire them!
22hourprint.com is unethical, unprofessional and difficult to work with. We need our money back ASAP.
