2000 Sofa Factory - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
The Furniture we ordered from 2000 Sofa Factory was soft and comfortable in the store. What was delivered to us on 5-14-08 was a chair, couch, loveseat that were hard and very uncomfortable w/recliner mechanisms that won't close right. After repeated calls to their customer service dept., their repair tech came to our home on 6-10-08 and sprayed silicon on the recliner mechanisms. "See if that helps" he said. The "repair" accomplished nothing. The recliners still won't close. Their sales person told us to "jump up and down on the cushions to soften them".
When you call to express your disatisfaction, you cannot talk to the owner or manager because no one at their store seems to know who management is. We have had to bring in our lawyer and our credit card company to assist us in getting a refund ($2300.). The defective furniture is going in our garage and we are going to Penney's or a reputable store to purchase a new family room set.
