I purchased a full BMW passenger side wing mirror online and paid by my credit card 350.00 they promised to send it within 3 days, it didn't arrive so i called them, they said it will arrive the next day, it didn't, so my right as a consumer i canceled it within 14 daysand asked for a refund with the so called company, i heard nothing, 2 weeks later the post delivered it, i didn't accept it, it went back to company i presume, i called them at least 50 times regarding my payment, all i got on the other line was " we are waiting our accountant to come in to see to your refund" they promised to call me back, but never did, this went on for my numerous phone calls to them, of course on the other end of the phone line was a very loud rude woman. I then decided to call the credit consumer board who advised me to go to small claims court, which i did, at an added returnable fee of 45.00 which i would get back if MR G SINGH (so called owner of 1st parts for you) refunded me, of course there was no response from him, so I paid an extra 35.00 for a bailiff to go to his premises. It was heard in my local court, (WOOLWICH) on 20/02/09 letter came back from the court saying " do not recommend re-issuing loads of warrant for this company, premises is a scrap yard with no goods sufficient of value" also was an accompanying letter regarding his affairs from companies house with an active status, PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY, next return due, next accounts due etc etc. So anyone who wishes to deal with this company who are an online car parts advertised company, I advice you not to do so as they are a COMPLETE RIP OFF, they have no intention of giving the customer their money back and wonder why something cannot be done to protect the customer from giving away his money. It seems nothing can be done, I may as well just give my money away to a stranger in the street, of course I could always pay MR SINGH A VISIT.

My renault scenic car door was caved in by a'hit and run' driver. Rather than pay £300 excess got hold of 1st parts4U who said they had a door in same colour. Paid on debit card. Door came -incorrect colour and bad condition-and 1st parts4U refused to pay for door to be returned. stuck with a rather large item that was taking up half of the shed i paid to have it sent up-anything to get my money back. Delivery company then phoned and said 1st parts4U refused to accept the door as it was 'unwanted' still no refund. Legally I am entitled to my original costs plus the courier fee to return door but am reluctant to pay small claims fee if the company can still get away with not paying (friends with businesses have had problems with small claims court) This company I have now learned is known to Trading standards but are still advertising in Autotrader

My drivers side wing was damaged and I couldnt find a local company that had the replacement wing I needed. So I went on ebay and was contacted by 1st parts 4 u saying they had the part and can send it within 48hrs for £20 delivery charge. I paid for the part on my mums debit card which I was told would be £65. 3 days later no part and a statement on my mums online banking advising I has been charged nearly £75. I called to find out where part was and was advised someone will call be back also asked about why I was debited more then I was told, was informed it was VAT. No phone call so called again next day was told mix up with postcode but part was on the way. This continued for another week and then after phoneing them again was told part was damaged in transit so they will send another by the following Wednesday. (did not turn up) called on the Thursday and was shouted at by woman saying if I dont get part by end of week they will give me full refund. ( No part turned up) Called on the monday and was told to call on the Wednesday as accounts not open until then. Called on the Wednesday and transferred to answer machine in accounts. Spoke to Mr Singn ( Director) who assured me will call me back by 6.30 that night (Thursday). Friday called again and kept being left on hold. Kept calling back only to have the phone put down on me serveral times and recieving abuse down the phone and informing me that they will not refund me my money. T

I have now investigated the company and found out they have been trading under several names and have ripped off alot of people. These people need to be stopped for good. More needs to be done. I know my money doesnt come no where near the amount they owe others but its still alot to me a single mother.

Bought engine from this company on 28th April and was quoted price of £925 inclusive of delivery and VAT. Payment was taken from my account on 29th April for £1311 without my consent. Realised on 30th my account had been overcharged. Phoned the company several times on 30th and informed 'no one to take your call', 'manager will call you back after 5.30 pm - no call. Called again on Friday 1st May and was informed that £1311 had VAT and delivery added on to it. Was advised that engine would arrive that day. Phoned late afternoon to be told engine would be here by 5pm, phoned after 5pm advised engine would be here by 6.30 pm. No engine arrived!. Phoned Trading Standards on 2nd May and was advised by them to cancel engine. Phoned 1stparts and told them, also emailed them that day to confirm my cancellation and was also told by them to put this in writing. Sent Recorded Delivery Letter 2nd May instructing them to cancel my order. Engine arrived at my home address (should have gone to garage address as per my instructions) late Tuesday afternoon, would not accept engine and delivery company took engine away. Received a call from Karl at 1stparts asking why I'd cancelled engine. Explained situation to him, he advised that they would refund my money, however would take delivery and surcharge - agreed payment of £1, 000 which he confirmed would be processed on the Friday and be in my account by the following Tuesday 12th May. No payment received! Called 6 or 7 times each day since then, put through to accounts dept ' no answer, left messages on answermachine - again no one called back'. Spoke with Trading Standards again and they advised to send a Recorded Letter confirming that they had 7 business days to credit my account or I would be taking legal action. Sent this on 19th May. Received a letter from a Sharon Whittingham, Accounts Manager acknowledging received of my letter and that they would put forward my request for refund for verification and they would then refund my money minus a surcharge and delivery costs. They advised they would be in contact with me for my account info to process the transaction. Again no calls. Have phoned again every day over the last week with the same response' no one available, no one in accounts, will get someone to call you back'! Now sending another letter advising that I have no further option but to take the company to court.
