1-800-Flowers.com failed to deliver

Place an order on May 1, 2017 for delivery on May 8, 2017. This was to be a Mothers Day arrangement for my boyfriends mother. Needless to say, it was not delivered on May 8 and when I called I spoke to a Marco. I was told by him that they would issue 50%credit and have my flowers delivered on May 9. I called today (May 9) only to find out my flowers ARE NOT being delivered and a 100% credit was given. No one called to inform me and my cell is listed. As I am typing this, i have still YET to recvd notification of my flowers. I expressed my dissatisfaction and poor customer service to the rep and told them i would never order flowers from them again. INSTEAD I ORDERED FROM THRIFTYFLORIST.NET.

Damage Resulting
Their lack of customer service and professionlism caused me a great deal of stress as tomorrow is MOTHERS DAY. Plus I had my boyfriends mom stay home yesterday to get the flowers that NEVER showed. Im so embarrassed!

Cancelled order by phone, have phone number in cellphone as record. Told order was cancelled, but they delivered anyway and told me they had no record of my call. My bad for not getting email confirmation, but never imagined a major company would commit theft this way. I have been forced to pay for an item I cancelled.
This is my second bad incident with this company out of 2 transactions. Last time I was entitled to free shipping and was charged. Had to spend 30 minutes of my life on various holds to try to resolve. Gave them another chance, shame on me. Screwed again.

I also watched that show and I was very impressed how much he cared about the employees and his product. That is why I am so surprised at what has happened to me in the past week. I simply ordered flowers for my Daughter who was having a very special Birthday, her 23rd brithday. I ordered them the day before her birthday to assure they would get there in time I added a beautiful card to be presented with the flowers. I put a lot of time and thought into the perfect flower arrangment. I found the perfect one. With order placed I felt assured my daughter would be smiling on her special day when she recieved this beautiful arrangment of flowers. It did not work out that way, anything but. The flowers never arrived to her even after confirmation that were delivered...I called to see why they had not arrived and was told there was a bit of confusion. After a very lenghty phone call I was told I would get back a full credit for my trouble and no delivery of the flowers. I was offered to have the flowers sent again the following day at no charge to me, I accepted and once again gave all the details need to insure proper delivery and was assured they would arrive again they did not arrive nor was I informed they did not arrive until late that night when I called to check status of the order. After a long 3 days of dealing with 1800flowers and many hours on the phone with them and emials exchanged after the 3rd time of them assuring me they would m ake sure my daughter finally got her birthday flowers I recieved a phone call telling me We are sorry but we cannot locate any flowers so we are canceling your order. I have never been so upset. I tried to do a special thing for my daughter on her special day and went thru what I thought were the professionals of the industry. They failed beyond words and when all was said and done they wrote me off wanting me to go away. What this company doesnt seem to realize is it's people like me that keep them going. To add insult to injury after never recieving any flowers they charged my credit card 3 times I am not sure this nightmare will ever be resolved.

The arrangment that was delivered did not look like what they had advertised. I contacted them and they said they would send out the correct arrangement. The wrong arrangement was delivered July 5th. The correct one has not been delivered. I have contacted them several times, and they say they are going to redeliver, but it never happens.

My fiance ordered flowers from 1800flowers for valentines day. This was our first valentines day since we got engaged. He paid $80 plus extra for vday delivery and such and the flowers were awfullllllll. They used mostly filler flowers and they were the ugliest bunch of flowers I have ever seen in my life! He would have been better off going to the food store flower section for $6.99. I used the chat program to let them know how bad the flowers were. They guaranteed a redelivery by 3:00 the next day (I leave work at 3). At 2:50 I contacted them again. They hadn't even left to deliver them yet. I finally just asked for a refund. They did say yes but what an awful disappointment! I will never ever ever order from them again.

I ordered a special birthday wish flower bouquet to be delivered for my grandmother's 100th birthday party at her residence on saturday. I noticed that they were not there, and called around noon to inquire. The system stated that they were scheduled for delivery that day. Still at 4pm the flowers were not there, so i called again, and they said that they were on the way. By 7pm, (party now over) the flowers were still not there, and after calling multiple times and being hung up on, I was told that the "florist" was now closed and that they could not get the flowers there anymore, and could also "in no way" get the flowers delivered the next day because it was a Sunday. I was very upset, and they promised to note to have a manager call me and have the flowers delivered first thing Monday morning. I called my grandmother this evening, and she STILL has not received the flowers! I called 1800flowers for the 8th time, and they continue to provide awful customer service, again apologizing, saying the order some how got canceled Sunday night, saying they will be delivered tomorrow, and offering a wowing $7 for all the trouble. Please, don't break the bank! I can not believe the awful service and it seems they do not care at all about retaining a loyal client. I will never depend on their service again. Way to mess up a 100th birthday celebration!

My dear Mother has passed away. The flower delivery was in her memory.
Delivery was UPS that is a another whole issue.
I called 1800Flowers for some help because UPS was failing to get these flowers to me. In the beginning the address was incorrect. I corrected that with UPS but to no avail. 1800Flowers was contacted to try and find out who the sender was. Evern though I did not receive the flowers I wanted to be sure the Thank the sender. I gave them the entire story beginning to end and they could not help me. I cannot imagine a business not being able to do a reverse lookup. Time and time the e-mails went back and forth with the same answer they cannot help me. Interesting enough UPS left the flowers on another familys steps and said they had delivered to me so the person called but when I got to her she had thrown away the card. She called 1800Flowers and they said for her to keep the flowers and they would resend. I called about that and once again they did not know what I was talking about and could not help me.
To date I have not received any help from 1800Flowers so whoever sent the bouquet will be charged and I cannot Thank them for there kindness.

This isn't the first time they've screwed up but we thought lets give them another try (unfortunately they're like the only online flower business that I know of) ..We ordered 3 separate orders of Sympathy standing flowers (spent over $800) to be sent over to a beloved family member's wake taking place states away from us, it was a ONE day viewing a Tues. We called 6 days in advance. We gave them specific instructions on making sure they were delivered either the Monday night or that Tuesday morning. We got a call from a really upset family member saying their were no flowers at the wake, this was Tuesday afternoon. I called 1800flowers right away & told them how upset were about the failed delivery, they told us that the funeral director told them to deliver it by 3pm & that they were working on the last order. I called the funeral director & he said he never spoke to anyone from 1800flowers & that they've had complaints about them. He also advised me never to call them because they always screw up deliveries & make up excuses! I called & complained to 1800flowers, got really upset! Another time before this I had ordered sympathy flowers for a neighbor they took a long time in delivering them AND we happened to see the flowers being delivered they looked NOTHING like the Picture! This is our LAST time dealing with such disgusting people! To think this business who'd advertisements are everywhere would not put thought or any love for their customers especially when people are mourning & placing sympathy orders! SHAME ON YOU 1800Flowers!

This is not the first time i've had a problem with your establishment. This however was the worst experience ever. I placed this order two days before valentines day. My wife was working 9 hours at her job. 9 hours! I am embarrassed, disappointed and sadly will never ever do business with your company again. The lack of planning and distribution of your deliveries today was very careless and extremely unprofessional. Not only were the flowers not delivered but my entire day was ruined. I made several attempts to contact 1-800-flowers and the answering service message announced "due to the heavy call volume our agents will not be able to answer your call but you can place an order online goodbye". This is supposed to be a multimillion dollar company therefore I expected the utmost professionalism. After four hours I was finally able to speak to a customer service representative, which lead to another let down because she was unable to provide me with any information purchase or delivery. She was absolutely, no help to me at all. I couldn't believe that after paying the additional expense for the cost of flowers, there was an extra delivery charge from your usual fee and yet you did not come through with your commitment. Your company should be ashamed. Do you offer your workers an extra salary because they work on valentine's day? Do you raise your employee's hourly wage because its valentine's day? With the extra delivery fee why weren't more workers hired to handle the deliveries? I'm disgusted and I will never do business or refer to this disgrace you call a company.

I must express the disappointment I have with this order. I know that you used a local florist, but they sure did not do you any favors.

I started placing calls to your customer service around 5:00 my time after I came home and the flowers were not delivered.
I had placed several calls and was told that the flowers were to be delivered that night. They were delivered alright...
After 10:00pm. What kind of service is this?. Most people are ready to go to bed at this time.
The arrangement of the flowers were very nice, however they were not fresh. My wife had to throw them out last night.

I have used your service in the past, and I got to say this was the worst experience that I have had with your company.
10:00 delivery time is inexcusable... No mater how busy the florist was, they should not have accepted the task if they couldn't deliver by the 7:00 pm time that you guarantee.

This Christmas I ordered 3 separate flower arrangements for friends totaling almost $200. 2 of the 3 orders had issues.
The one I ordered first went through without a hitch. The second order I was told they didn't have the exact product, would I find a 2nd choice. I did, but they ended up just swapping vases, I was fine with that as well, at least I was notified there was an issue. The 3rd however, I was never notified, I was monitoring it via their website however, finally I contacted then through their website via a chat box. It was then ( Christmas Eve Day ) that I found out the order couldn't be completed. I'm guessing they had no intentions of letting me know on this one? Online they asked me to do the 2nd choice thing again, but couldn't be delivered in time. Who wants Christmas flowers after Christmas? Their representative online then selected an alternative, again... couldn't be delivered by Christmas. I called corporate, I got lots of lip service and apologies. But was told there was nothing they could do. I was told it could be delivered 2 days after Christmas, at a discount..pointless to me. I hopefully am getting a refund. And a $20 discount, Which will never be used. I'll never use them again. And let everyone I know the same. I feel they should have done a few different things to uphold their smile guarantee. They should have contacted me once they knew the item was no longer available. They should remove the item from the site as No Longer Available. And they should have sent some corporate Goon on a jet to fulfill the order. They simply don't care. Never again.

1-800-Flowers.com terrible service

I have had not 1, but 3 consecutive bad experiences with ordering flowers via 1-800-Flowers. The first time was for a funeral of a close friends grandmother out of state. Of course I was assured that they would be delivered the day of the funeral. They never showed. When I called them to complain they said there was nothing they could do, but offered me a 20% discount on an order that didn't show up in time for the funeral. I asked them to escalate the issue to UPS. Again, they said there is nothing that they could do since the shipping records showed that the flowers were in UPS' possesion. Knowing that was a complete and total lie, I called UPS directly and after several hours on the phone with them demanded that a UPS supervisor personally take the flowers and drive them to the home of my friends parents who lost their mother. That was only done because I took charge after 1-800-Flowers washed their hands of the situation.

For Mothers Day, I gave them one more chance. (I don't know why) I placed 2 orders for 2 dozen roses be sent to my mother and my daughters mother. After not recieving an e-mail conformation of the order I called them and they said they'd resend one. I never got that either. I called back in the following morning and was told they see the order but they don't know where it is or where the flowers are. I asked to speak to a manager who gave me the same line. I then asked to speak to HIS manager and he told me that he is as high as it goes and he doesn't have a boss there. I told him that I was honored to be speaking to the CEO of 1-800-Flowers. He said that he was not the CEO of the company to which I replied, "Then you DO have a boss Sir!" He stated that somebody should call me back before the day is over to which I disagreed and spent 3 hours on the phone refusing to leave until I got answers. Nothing came of it...Flowers did not show up for Mothers Day and I'm left to pick up the pieces and do my own detective work.

Once upon a time they used to be reliable. That hasn't been the case over the past few years...their service and reliability is so far sub prime it's sad if not illegal for them to be charging people money to be abused. DO NOT USE THEM AS YOUR FLORIST...YOU'LL ONLY BE DISAPPOINTED AND ANGERED!

DISAPPOINTMENT WITH 1-800-FLOWERS.COM
i had ordered a beautiful flower arrangement for my mom-in-law from 1-800-flowers and they just simply canceled the order the day before without ever notifying me. Apparently they could not find a local florist ?what? how is it possible?
Anyhow, need i say how disappointed everyone is.
I will never use them again and encourage everyone else not to.
Thanks

I was in the process of placing an order, and found out the price was much higher than what was listed on the website. So I cancelled the order and put in a new order for less expensive flowers. I was told that the first order was cancelled and that the new order would be delivered at 2 pm- this was an order of flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day. I called UPS to confirm the tracking number, but UPS said their tracking order numbers have no resemblance to the number I was given. Additionally, UPS does not deliver at certain times; the order would have been dropped off between 9 am and 4 pm rather than at a specific time. I called Flowers.com right back to cancel, but was told it was too late. I explained that I was given wrong information, that I had just placed the order five minutes before, but they said they could not offer a refund. I then called my credit card company, and they said that there were two charges to the account- so Flowers had double-charged me. I told Mastercard that I had been given wrong information, that I had been told I would receive a confirmation e-mail which never came, and that I had been given a wrong shipping number. Lots going wrong here. Amazing how when I called their voice message said at this time they could not accept any changes or cancellations due to high call volume, and yet when I selected the option to place an order I got right through. So Flowers.com has time to take our money, but no time to back up their service and correct errors made.

My mother recently ordered flowers and experienced the same exact problem. Spent 3 hours on the phone. Flowers are 2 days late. They said they would send complimentary roses but didn't know if any florists would have them in stock? Come to find out they never even put in that order for the complimentary roses. UPS tracking # doesn't even exist. Account never refunded for flower order they couldn't deliver.

1-800-Flowers.com didnt order out of state flowers

I was ordering the next term book for my daughter literature class and wouldnt you know as the sametime that I used my credit card to pay for this hard to find locally, book, that she needed. Well, I decided to buy it out of state to get it "out-of- the way". Not only did I get the book in time, ...seems the added bonus of someone else sent someone else FLOWERS TO THE TUNE OF $19.99 on my credit card, and that happed 3 weeks in a row from the same location/strip-mall area I found out where I bought my daughter's book. ...BUT IT WAS IN NYC> I LIVE IN AZ ! What a rip off !Though I did get my money back after investigation. hahahaahahah!

1-800-Flowers.com service

I ordered the Christmas centerpiece that was so heavily advertised on television. It was to have been delivered to my daughter in another city. I paid $58 by credit card. What they delivered was a little pot of mums I could have gotten at Publix for $10. I called and complained. The service rep. apologized, said they had run out of supplies but that they would re-deliver the next day. Nobody ever showed up. When I called again, the service rep. told me they don't issue refunds but that they'd give me 20% off the next order. I said "You've got to be kidding! I wouldn't order from you again if it were free!" I disputed it on my credit card. The company is now lying and saying that they tried to re-deliver the flowers but that my daughter refused to accept them. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY! IT IS A RIP OFF!

My first time ordering with this company -- and never again.
My mother's cousin's 92nd birthday. On May 9 I ordered arrangement be sent to her on her Birthday - May 11. Yes, I know that's also Mother's Day - creating large volume of orders. ...But not til May 10 did an 800-Flowers.com rep phone to say that arrangement was out of stock. The rep hunted around and came up with another arrangement that could/would be delivered either on the 10th or the 11th. As of now, 1p.m. on the 11th, I've had no confirmation regarding order and have phoned the recipient twice...she has not received any flowers.
I've phoned 800Flowers twice - spoken also to a Supervisor - who cannot guarantee anything...they say they've spoken to the local florist, who doesn't have time to check whether or not they indeed have the order, because they have so many orders - being Mother's Day. Florist says that they stop deliveries at 4 p.m. today (it is, of course, Sunday). 800Flowers say that they continue delivering until 7p.m. Who to believe? I still have no confirmation via e-mail from 800Flowers -- the phone reps are unable to give me any definitive word/confirmation on my order as to whether or not it will happen today. And, sadly I have now lost the opportunity/time to call one of the recipient's neighbors in Manhattan, to ask if they would buy/deliver an arrangement for which I would reimburse them.

800Flowers -- if you can't handle such a Holiday volume of orders, then post a cut-off. You are disappointing your customers - I will never EVER order again from 800Flowers!

The 1-800-flowers.com website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed. They decide whether or not you are satisfied. They will not give your money back. Please don't order from them.

I ordered for a funeral; it was time sensitive. They called and left a message that they could not fill my order and wanted to (completely) substitute. When I called them back, they told me that (1) they could not confirm if my order had been delivered or what had been delivered and (2) I could not cancel my order. They told me that 100% satisfaction guaranteed does not mean that I can get my money back even if my order has not been delivered.

1-800-Flowers.com Failure to deliver

Pop ups all over the place on line for Valentine's day delivery of flowers.
Ordered approx. $70 worth flowers and candy to be delivered Valentines day to my mother in law from her husband.
Flowers never showed up.
Spoke to "Call Center" employee- with the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee posted all over- the only thing they would do is deliver by Tuesday and give 50% refund or cancel order all together.
This is not 100% satisfaction for me. Would not allow me to talk to supervisor and have yet to hear back from them!
Terrible Service!

1-800-Flowers.com charged credit card but no delivery.

I placed an order with 1800Flowers on 2/5/09 with a delivery date of 2/12/09, 1 full week in advance. After speaking with the person whom I scheduled to send flowers to for Valentine's Day, I am informed they NEVER arrived. So much for the surprise huh?

I called 1800Flowers customer service line twice. 1st time, the rep asked to call me back and did so within 30 minutes, stating he had spoke to the florist they routed my order to and the flowers were on their delivery truck and would arrive in 60 minutes or less.

3 Hours later, still NO FLOWER DELIVERY ... I call customer service for the 2nd time, I am placed on hold for 10 minutes, when I do get a rep on the line, I am given nothing but excuses. I am furious by now, ask to speak to a supervisor. I am placed on hold for 30 minutes, no one ever picked up.

I would strongly suggest to anyone who wants to have flowers sent delivery online DO NOT USE 1800FLOWERS.

I will be calling my bank to dispute the charges they made to my credit card and have spoke to my attorney who tells me I can file suit for fraud since they charged my credit card account and did not follow through under the terms of their service!

1-800-Flowers.com fraud & lies

I ordered and paid for flowers. Received confirmation of delivery. Flowers never arrived. Called company. They confirmed flowers were delivered yet no flowers arrived. The order was submitted to be delivered 2.11.09. Received another confirmation. Call company again. Again, they confirmed flowers were delivered and left at residence. Again, no flowers. While on hold with customer service, they call recipient of flowers and she was told that no flowers were shipped. I had 2 employees of this company both put me on hold, call the florist and both tell me that flowers were delivered. One lie after another. I canceled the order. While on the phone, I received another confirmation of an order that I never placed and my credit card was bill. This company advertises 100% satisfaction guaranteed. This is the biggest lie of all.

I ordered flowers for a colleague to be delivered to our office 3 days in advance of her BIrthday. 800 flowers never delivered the order and never sent me any kind of status change. I called the 800 number and was told the weather was bad in D.C. and that the flowers could not be delivered...I thought this odd because we have a large corporate HQ in D.C. and none of our folks had trouble getting to work. Day two, same thing - no delivery. I called 800 flowers and was told "delivery would definitely be made today"! Of course that never happened. Day three, I received a confirmatin email from 800 FLowers that the delivery had been made. I called my colleague and was informed that she NEVER received the flowers. So, again I called 800 flowers and they admitted the delivery was not made, apologized for the "mixup" and promised to deliver today! Day four, still no delivery to my colleage...I called 800 flowers AGAIN and asked to speak with the Julie L.Kaufman, Director of Customer Service that is listed at the bottom of the delivery confirmation page. I was told she was "unavaialble". So I asked to speak with any supervisor...after having to explain my situation to 3 additional customer service reps, demanding again to speak with a manager or supervisor, and being placed on hold for nearly a half hour, a man by the name of Charles Stine picked up. It was like pulling teeth to get him to give me his name and title. After explaining the situation again - he offered me no apology and told me they could either try to deliver or refund my money. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, Charles said "my supervisor does not answer the phone, I am the only person you can spealk with". What a joke -- no attemp to make this right what-so-ever! Well 800 Flowers you can be sure I will tell all my corproate connections, friends and relatives that they hould NEVER use you! Your delivery and customer service is a joke!

I've been had by them too. I ordered a calla-lily arrangement in a basket that I thought looked nice. When the flowers were shipped, I didn't get calla-lilies. I don't know what kind of flowers they sent but they were ugly and in the basket the calla-lilies should have been in. I called to complain and they said they would reship for no charge and I could keep the ones I did get. They were for a birthday so it made for an awkward situation. They did reship, except they sent the same exact thing. When I called again to complain, they said sometimes the flower shops they deal with don't have an item so they'll replace it with something similiar. Cala-lillies are rather expensive and I'm sure that both of the wrong flowers I received wouldn't total up to what I spent. I wasn't offered any kind of refund. They did offer a 20% discount on my next order. Don't think I'll be using that anytime soon though.

1-800-Flowers.com paying too much for flowers

If you have ever paid for flowers through 1800flowers or any other online vendor that does not have an actual store, you are paying close to $15.00 over the cost of the flowers just for their fee. The worst part is, you rarely even get what you see in the picture, and they don't tell you that.

As a florist, I try to educate our customers all the time on how these online services work. The strange thing is that even though customers are "online" to place the order, they rarely look online for a local florist to fill the order personally, and these online companies like 1800flowers, FTD, Teleflora, WesleyBerry, Flowersallhours, ALL OF THEM, send the orders to the local florist anyway.

It is then up to the local florist to fill the order, and most always, if they don't have the same vase or flowers, they send something "similar", which based on costs of the flowers could be a lower value.

Now let's look at costs. Say you have a $40.00 arrangement you want to send someone. Add to that the $15 the online company charges you for delivery and handling, and you are paying out $55.00. The local florist will get $31.20 of the money you paid, as they also take 22% off the retail price as a commission. So, in effect, you are spending $55.00 but only getting an arrangement that is $31.20.

By using a local florist, you are insuring they get paid fairly for the work they do, saving yourself a minimum of $15.00 (more during holidays!) and taking out the middleman who has nothing whatsoever to do with the creation or delivery of your arrangement, other than forwarding it on to someone. Now, after all this, isn't it just more simple to go to the source?

I totaly agree with the Florsit and not the beltering "idiot" above. You do pay $13 and up for 1800flowers services here's the kicker. They have out sourced employment. An American company that hires those they can pay $3 an hr to. Let's say an average is 12 order per hr. (i happen to know at holidays this is a extreame low average) if you know your math that is at the very least $120 pr hr pr employee (outside the us and there are hundreds if not thousands of them) There overhead is not that great when they have to pay Americans but it's a hell of a lot more then pocket change and you are less likely to get an someone who can't do the job unless they are new. Do they screw the florist? Well, they don't exactly tell them to bend over so I guess you can say no, they rape the florist! If you want happy flowers sent yes call a local florist your self your sitting in front of the computer look up the number and call. Most have a web site you can view samples of what they have. No you can not get a trademark 1800flowers arangment but a florist would be an "idiot" to tell you they can't make something close to it, and if you give the florist the extra 15 you can get exactly what you want plus more and know right then and there if they have the flowers. The only benifit to paying the extra is someone else has to do the dirty work if the florist is out of a flower you just cant live without. A hint about florist most know another shop in town and will recomend or will go to great effort to get the flowers you need and all the time are more then willing to let you know when the truck comes in and if the flowers are bad. Even if they are on there last flowers it's a birthday they will work with you to get a little something there for the birthday and what you want as soon as they have fresh flowers. I say hire AMERICANS pay americans to do what you want done and love the USA!

1-800-Flowers.com - scam and cheating

Order from 1800Flowers was not shipped as promised. Someone from 1800flowers actually called me on the day of the order and advised that it was a difficult order to fill but assured me that is would be delivered prior to Christmas. I was sending this as a Christmas gift to family out of stat. As of 12/29 the order had not been delivered. I called...

1-800-Flowers.com worst service ever

On the morning of Dec. 24, I visited 1800Flowers.com to order flowers for my mother. Their website advertised same day delivery. I placed an order. My card was charged. No flowers were delivered on 12/24. None were delivered on 12/25. None on 12/26. Still none on 12/27. No update was issued for my order. No one called me. No one emailed me. I called on Saturday 12/27 to cancel. I still don't have my refund on my credit card. They say I should wait 5 to 10 days for that. I think you should get your flowers from some other source.

1-800-Flowers.com doesn't deliver, then lies

12/21/08 - ordered christmas arrangement from 1-800 flowers to be delivered in dallas, tx before christmas.

12/26/2008 - we verify the arrangement was not received by the recipient.

12/27/08 - called customer service: they provide fake emailed confirmation stating the arrangement was delivered on 12/22/08. We call back and dispute it. They first restate the lie... Then keep talking... Then they claim the arrangement was delivered at 11:00am on 12/27/08 and signed for... Although they can not confirm or make out the signature name. They offer a 20% discount, my wife asks for 50% since it was so late, they agree to do it.

12/27/2008 - 1:00pm - we confirm there was no delivery as they claimed. Call customer service again: they now admit there was no delivery. My wife asks for a full refund since the christmas arrangement is now a joke. They say ok... But it will take 6-7 business days to process the refund. (On a credit card purchase) we're very concerned the refund will not be issued. We'll monitor and contact our credit card company to dispute the charge if necessary.

We understand things happen in life and sometimes a delivery is late. But a company that misrepresents, lies and then holds your money after the acknowledged deception should be considered fraudulent.

1-800-Flowers.com poor quality and not like advertised

I received as a gift, flowers in September that were ordered from 1800Flowers and the condition and quality of the flowers were very substandard, and most died within 3 days of receiving even though they had the required watering and indoor temperature. Then just 4 days ago I received a Christmas gift, again from 1800flowers, Martha Stewart collection, a gift of lilies in a silver vase. The photo in their advertisement and online look very nice. However, what I received was skimpy and in 4 days are wilted, even though cared for properly. There were only 3 stems of lilies in the large vase, and the fill in decor looks nothing like the photo in their brochure and had broken branches. I feel bad for the gift giver spending a considerable amount of money and 1800flowers sending the recipient such poor quality flowers. Save your money and call the person and tell them you love them or take them out for dinner. 1800flowers is a ripoff.

I just had the worst experience as well. AGAIN! Last year for valentines day, i sent mom flowers. vase was broken and flowers sucked. nothing like photo. I complained and they sent me 13.00 off coupon and they resent flowers. A bit better.
This year having the 13.00 off coupon, I ordered an expensive martha stewart collection arrangement. OMG. It was a mini version of what was pictured. The vase was bigger than the arrangement. Flowers broke off and were at bottom of box. The filler flowers were non-existent. and the flowers in the vase were brown and wilted. Not at all like in the picture. Lasted a couple of days. I have complained to them and they are supposed to issue refund.
I have also contacted martha stewart. She should know what her name is being put on. CRAP. I will never deal with 1800flowers again.

1-800-Flowers.com lack of training for employees

I recently began trainng for 1-800-flowers. It was a week of training via conference call/webex.
You could work from home. Great, I thought. Our trainer was also working from home. She would leave us holding while she tended to her kids, did laundry, and checked her Facebook mail. It was paid training. We were on a call w/ 18 other prospect employees. At times you couldn't get a question in-too many people trying to talk. in our class was several people who shouldn't have made it past the first day. One man couldn't speak a complete sentence in English. Another woman was using a cell phone. We could hear her driving her car etc. An older lady couldn't navigate her computer well. But yet the entire crew graduated! Trainer must get some kind of bonus for that! We were all supposed to do mock orders on graduation day. Only 4 people got to to do that. We were scheduled to work that following Monday.Nobody was ready! More than half of the class quit. I spoke with several of them. They said they felt like they were thrown to the wolves. The only communication with a supervisor was thru aim chat rooms. Sometimes they wouldn't even give ansers back. or tell the customers to call back.etc. So now let me give some of you customers some advice. (A) You are more likely to get a "newbie" on the ph on Mondays (B) Give the cust.serv. agent your promo code ahead of time, once they go thru the whole order process-there's no going back for discounts (C) You can always call for a staus check, even if it's a couple of times a day or only a few minutes after the order-I advise it! (D)If they tell you they can only give a savings pass as compensation, that's BS. We were trained to do it in steps. 1First they offer the redelivery, savings pass, partial refund, full refund, or full refundw/savings pass . It goes in that order. Keep on them to get the full refund! (E) Once you give your cc # a hold will be put on the amount of the item(s) being purchased. Even if they are still processing the order. I canceled mine at the end of my conversation and she told me a hold would still be on that money up to 5 days!(F)They charge a $13.99 service charge and the tax depends on what the tax is in the "recipients" state-not your state, if different.(G) If you have a concern about your bill, when you call ask to speak to "Billing Dept." The person who answers is not trained well enough to handle some billing problems. We spent 10 minutes in class over this, if that. The rep will transfer your call to a more experienced person.(H) The cust.rep. gets a bonus for each call they transfer to the "Live Well" program. They try to sell you as much stuff as possible. They start with the most expensive, too. And FINALLY my advice is to use a local florist in recipients area. Ask the customer if the item is a florist or vendor item. Vendor means flowers will arrive UPS/Fedex in a box. If there is a vase you might get 2 boxes. Not very fresh. You can also use find-a-florist.com it's very helpful. ***I sincerely would like to apologize to all of you who have had a problem based on inexperienced/ill-trained cust.serv.agents. There are some good people working for them.**** Good luck!

On Monday morning, July 6, 2009, I ordered flower from 1-800-Flowers.com because they guaranteed same day delivery. I needed them delivered today. Price was not the issue. I placed the order, they accepted it, charged my credit card and e-mailed me a confirmation. That evening I received an e-mail stating that their florist would not be able to deliver today after all but they could deliver tomorrow and would compensate me for the inconvenience. I replied stating that only if they could deliver in the morning. I assumed if I went elsewhere I wouldn’t get it any quicker.
I didn’t hear back from them so Tuesday the 7th I e-mailed again asking for an update. Tuesday evening I received an e-mail stating that they could deliver the flowers today if I wanted them to or I could cancel. I replied stating that I would like them to deliver if they could today but I needed confirmation.
By 10:00 am Wednesday, I realized that this just wasn’t going to happen. I still had not received a reply. So I e-mailed them cancelling the order. It is so unfortunate that these large companies promise a service, take your money, knowing they will not be able to deliver. It’s obvious that they don’t care about the consequences to the consumer. I wonder how long it will take to get y credit. Any bets?

1-800-Flowers.com stale flowers and deflated balloon received

I ordered a flower arrangement for my wife for my anniversary from online. On the day of the anniversary around 10:00 am I tried to check the status of the order and it did not pull up the order so I called the customer service. The guy said he was not able to pull the order even after searching by order number, name, email, phone, and cc number so he asked me to call back in half hour just to make sure. I called again at around noon and same thing so I asked to cancel the order and I bought the flowers from some other place. In the evening around 5:00 pm a guy showed up at our door with the stale flowers and deflated balloon and my cc was charged. So next day morning I called in to complain they said ok we will cancel the order and someone will pick up the flowers from the recipient. So at the end not only I had to go through all this ugliness but I looked like a dumb!@#$ to the recipient when the guy shows up at the door to pickup the flowers. Luckily, I had sent the flowers to just my wife and she understands. I cannot even imagine sending anything to anybody from this place ever again. I do not know why they want the flowers back; my guess is they want to send to the next customer…

I ordered flowers for my Grandmother, at over $70. They were to have been delivered on Saturday (Grandparents Day). I filled out the online form to send her an e-card letting her know that she was getting a flower delivery. Big mistake! By the following Monday, the flowers hadn't shown up yet, and she'd been waiting for them. I called on Monday and they told me that the local florist was out of the flowers I ordered. They claimed they had tried to contact me. I told them that something needed to be delivered to her that day and they said "It shouldn't be a problem". Tuesday came around, no flowers and no contact. I called back again and this time I was told that no florist had ever picked up the order, because there weren't any florists in that area that could access their system. When I asked why they accepted my money for delivery to that area, they said they have no way of knowing at the time the order is placed whether or not a local florist will be able to fill it. I will never, never, never use this florist again!

I ordered flowers for my mother for mother's Day, I was told my credit card was declined which I knew it shouldn't, I later found out one payment was authorized and the other declined, but was told they couldn't send the flowers, after talking to my credit card company, i found that one payment was authorized, after having conference call. the next day Friday I received a call from 1800flowers.com it was stated they would send mom her flowers with the payment that was already authorized, mom did get her flowers, but another payment was authorized for the flowers.

I had to call my credit card company so many times to get this straight, after putting the money back in my credit card over $8.00 was charged to me, every time I had to talk to a live person they were charging me, when suggested they owe me they refused even thou most of the calls was conference calls with them on the line. Mother's Day should have been a happy day for me even thou my mother lives 3, 000 miles away, I was too stressed to be happy.

I ordered a bonsai tree for my brother's birthday on 1800flowers.com. He didn't get it on his birthday, a week went by and he still didn't get it.

I called the company and they said it was still in the delivery warehouse and hadn't even been sent yet! The customer service rep was nice but had no explanation as to why it wasn't sent.

They offered me a $10 gift certificate...gee, thanks...that doesn't even cover their shipping cost! Do not use 1800flowers, you can't rely on them to get your product delivered in time! What else would you use a special occasion service for? They suck.

1-800-Flowers.com don't know how to deliver

Ordered a plant for my wife's birthday. They were scheduled to be delivered on Friday to her school. They say they were delivered after she had left but UPS tracking shows it was delivered on the following Monday. Over the weekend I was promised by a representative that I would receive a full refund which was not honored by the supervisor that I spoke with. I was forced to spend hours on the phone speaking with representative after representative to try and get a straight answer about where the order was. Was told lie after lie including and not limited to:
The address the order was being shipped to was changed to get it to my wife at home
The order was being sent by FedEx (even given a bogus tracking number)
Someone would call me on Saturday (still awaiting that call)

and the list goes on.

1-800-Flowers.com unauthorized billing

I had just checked my account and saw I had been debited from TLG Livwell $11.99. I had sent an inquiry in to my Bank on the transaction because I have seen it on the account and never really knew what it was. My husband deals with the account and he is deployed at the moment. I decided to look up this company and found all Consumer Complaints.

As I was reading through all of the complaints it made sense. I had ordered flowers on Mother's Day in may and now it's october and I am getting debited from this company. I called 1800flowers immediately and as I was talking to the first customer service rep. She hung up on me because I refused to be transferred to Livewell because I had read that no one has received an answer. So... she kept interrupting me said, well... there is nothing I can do for you. I said, well... we will be on the phone for awhile until you can figure this out. She said, No we won't, and HUNG UP on me!

I was so offset that the CUSTOMER SERVICE representative responded with such sass. I called back yet again and the second rep said I know exactly what to do and put me on old and then put me on hold again and had transferred me over without telling me. I had the new rep tell me that I had to leave a message with Dave something or other. I had told her about how people have been getting signed up for this without there knowledge. She said, well you need to just talk to Dave but... If he doesn't answer leave a voicemail. I had told her, I will but, I am making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. She paused for a moment and I thought she would actually help but, didn't even care. I think she was trying to think of what the BBB is.

So, I got transferred yet again and left a voicemail for David because of course his phone was off.

It was a loss of 60.00 so far and the first is coming up soon.

I ordered flowers from 800flowers and later find that the order included a membership to livwell. This membership debited $11.99 from my account each month. I was unable to obtain information from 800flowers and searched the web for Livwell. I sent an email to 4 companies that I found with this name and asked them to discontinue debiting my account. I did not give my address or bank information as I would think if they debited my account they had this information.

2 politely replied that they did not have an account for me and I replied to them thank you for checking. One did not reply and the last livwell replied by telling me that they were reporting me to the Federal Police for scam. For making an inquiry? (I did not give them personal information of where to send anything only a request to cease the debit and refund the $11.99 back the same way that the debited the amount) Very rude and unprofessional.

I have in the meantime taken the time off work to go to my bank and prevent future debits but this company in Australia is not one that seems to run a professional business. I will never use this company and would not recommend it to anyone.

1-800-Flowers.com rip off

I sent flowers to a sick employee on may 23, 2008 and they charged me 11.99 for a membership to livewell since june 2008. I did not realize this recurring charge because I failed to review my statement carefully. Thankfully american express removed the charges from aug, sept, and oct.

After reading all the comments, it seems like I will have to fight with live well/1-800-flowers to get my money back. I did not know I would be charged 11.99 a month just for ordering flowers online from this company. I only signed up for the free rewards program and receipt of promotions. Beware! It's better to support your local florist without going through the drama!

Just flowers and 1800 flowers do not know what they are doing. They take your money and call another florist for you. Next time I need flowers I will go straight to my florist. These people are just a call center! What a rip off! When I sent flowers to my sister for her birthday I called 1 800 flowers and after I seen the arrangement I was mortified. I spend $100 and it looked like $10. After researching I found out 1800 took a lot of fees out of the money intended for flowers and it was not made clear, also the lady i spoke with was clueless. I had trouble understanding every word. After that I said I wouldn't use them again and tried a place out of the phone book called just flowers, well they are a call center too so I decided to just call my local florist... it was much easier.

I ordered a Sympathy Dish Garden" on Monday Feb 7th, 2011 from 1800flowers.com for my nephews girlfriend's fathers funeral to be delivered on Sunday Feb 13, 2011 to the Funeral Parlor in Pompano Beach Florida. All info regarding the service ( Parlor address, family name, phone number, etc) had been given. My nephew called me from the service on Feb 13, 2011 and said the dish garden had never arrived. I called 180flowers.com and spoke to a representative who told me 2 different versions. The first was that the florist could not deliver them - with no reason given WHY. The rep said there was no information as to why.The second version from the same rep saidwas that the dish garden was delivered after the service was over. I was very upset and dissatisfied as this was so important as the deceased's daughter is just 20 years old and dealing with a sudden loss of her father and a funeral the day before Valentines day. I explained this to the representative. Then the rep was quickly wanting to give me a full reimbursment, but I wanted the order to be delivered the next day ( Valentines Day - the day after the service ) to their home. The rep said that it was going to be a busy day as it was Valentines Day and was preceeding to tell me that she could not assure delivery. I immediately said, " I do not care how many Valentine deliveries they had...that they should without a doubt make this delivery a priority." She said that she would have to contact "someone" and for me to call back when I got the home address for the deceased's family in order to send it. I got the address, phone etc from my nephew and called back and got a new representative who again looked up the information via my order number. This representative told me that the florist that they placed the order with did not deliver to funeral parlors. Now, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out upon 1800flowers.com placing a order with one of their contracted florists as they said " sympathy dish garden" . I placed my order 6 days in advance! What a load of crap! Can you belive that this came out of the representatives mouth? What a rip off. The second rep said that she would call me back after contacting "a florist" regarding delivering the sympathy dish garden on Valentines Day. She finally called me back and said the florist would deliver the order between 9 am and 7 pm Feb 14th 2011. I asked the rep to contact the florist again and to ensure that if by chance someone could not get to the door for any reason ( ie, in bathroom, in shower ) that the rep leave it on their front door step or with a neighbor...that I postively did not want a note left to say they had stopped but no one answered and to call for re-delivery) I said to the rep that if they did not delivery or left a note, the next step would be for me to get an attorney on this issue. I called my nephew back after my last conversation with 1800flowers.com and explained the conversation I had with them. I asked him to let me know if the sympathy dish garden gets delivered today.

This is the first time I have used 1800flowers.com and it will certainly be my LAST!

I had to explain all of this to my nephew and with a deep apology from our family to his girlfriend and her family. What a horribly unacceptable business this 1800flowers.com is. Is there no justice to be had with these rip off artists?

I would STRONGLY advise that NO ONE USE THIS HORRIBLE FLORAL SERVICE!

Trilegiant is the company behind this abuse. They use bogus marketing tactics to get people to unknowingly sign up for memberships and then people are charged every month, again and again.

(Tactics include pop-up windows during checkout at another site, text messages with fake gift certificates, bogus checks in the mail, and automated recordings when you pay a bill via phone).

Call Freed & Weiss! Toll free: 866.799.9610. They need to hear from you so that they can move the class action forward and put a stop to this terrible customer abuse.

I wish I would have read these comments before ordering my valentines day gifts from 1800flowers. They are now telling me that my valentines day gift will be delivered on the 17th of February. I should have stuck to my local florist and FTD.

1-800-Flowers.com sign me up for another membership

This summper I placed an order from 1800flowers.com for my grandfather that was under the weather. He did get the package I sent him. What I got in return was a membership to Liv Well. I didn't order a membership and will never use it so I asked for a refund on the charges. The agent cancelled my membership but would not refund the charges. I asked for his supervisor and after he put me on hold he came back on and informed me that his supervisor has approved a refund.

The trick you by offering you a $20 savings you can use on this purchase or a future purchase. What you hear or see is the savings what you don't is "by trying our discount program" from there you are transfered to the Live Well program. Each agent gets paid for every transfer to Live Well so yes they are going to push it.

I agree 1800flowers.com and Live well are both cheating agencies, My question is even if by mistake i did enroll for Live Well how on earth by just one click did they get my payment information, i guess everyone can understand from where? 1800flowers when we use your site and services we out trust in you and choose you over other service providers, and look how you keep the faith.

Please do not use any of the above to Organizations and as well as any of their associates, they are NOT trust worthy.

1-800-Flowers.com credit card scam

Beside the awful flowers they sent, they gave my credit card info to a company called Livwell to where they billed my credit card for 11.99 per month without my knowledge for several months. They now refuse to delete my info from their system so that It can be used again. I have since had to close down the credit card.

1-800-Flowers.com fraud and theft

I called 1-800-flowers to place an order for a basket to be sent to the home of my sister & brother-in-law for the passing of his mother. I gave all of my information upfront (mistake) before placing my order. I didn't know what arrangements they had so I talked to the representative to see what choices were available to me. The rep couldn't really find what I wanted and was taking a very long time. I told him to delete all of my information and that I would call back IF I decided to order from them. He said he was sorry they didn't have what I wanted and yes, he would delete everything and not to worry. That SHOULD have been the end of it.

The next day I went to check my bank account balance and saw a charge for $68.98 from 1800Flowers. I called them IMMEDIATELY and said what is this? I was like... how could there be a charge when I never picked out anything? The rep had taken it upon himself to choose something on my behalf and charge me for it! I was livid! This is fraud & theft! I was told the order had been canceled and the money would go back into my account after 3-5 days. It's day # 3 and the charge is still showing. So, we shall see. My point is that there shouldn't even BE AN ORDER to cancel because I NEVER ORDERED ANYTHING!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Once they get your information you are screwed and they will order things on your behalf that you do not give them the authorization to order!
