Realtor adam greer, reached out to me by email due to my online search for a home to purchase in the columbus ga area. Adam and I agreed to meet on 12/5/2019 for him to show me 4 properties I was interested in. I informed adam that I currently lived in atlanta ga and would be traveling from there on the date of our scheduled meeting. I arrived at coldwell banker located at 5670 whitesville road columbus, ga 31904 at 11:12 a.M. Adam greer came and meet me and immediately, took me into a small office with a t.V. And table and proceeded to tell me that he did not feel comfortable showing me the properties. I am a african american female. Shocked and appalled I asked if there was another agent there who could assist me. Adam stated no, and I needed to leave. I left and on monday, december 7, 2019 I called coldwell banker to lodge a complaint, by leaving a message for the branch manager to give me a call. On or about 12/9/19 I received a call from one of the partners who defended the behavior and conduct of adam greer. I asked for travel and time compensation and was denied. Beware black home buyers in columbus georgia!
