Clay Cooley Auto Group Bait and switch on new car

Advertised two cars with 5 miles as new. Confirmed the details and price but when I got to the Hyundai mesquite dealership they told me that those 2 cars were "service" cars with 5, 000 miles on each. Offered to sell me a new one for $4, 000 more but when I complained, they blamed their marketing person. Wanted to meet in the middle but only dropped by $1, 000.

Very shady practices. Would not go back.

So much for the promise that if they can't beat the price they'll give you the car. They can't even match their own price !

Complete con.

Desired outcome: Sell at advertised price for a new car.

Once they get your money they will not return callas, texts or emails. Typical shady car dealers. Add 995 for some bs gps that they say has to be added, only give you one car key and will not follow up with info on a spare. Will never deal with any Clay Cooley dealership again.

Desired outcome: I want a spare key

Clay Cooley Auto Group Finance games and lazy reception

1st:
They slip in some warranty items with funny names and lie about it when you ask saying, "no, the payment didn't go up", because they'd already quoted you the HIGHER payment with the extra products you didn't ask for.

*That means they lied to you TWICE and overcharged you.

Then:
They stick your cancelation file in a drawer and don't process it unless you waste your time going up to the store to harass them about it.

&:
Either because the receptionist is to LAZY to mail them OR because your on a personal blacklist ; they don't send you your plates until the paper tags expire wasting MORE of your time to immediately drive up to the store again so you don't get a ticket only to stand around while they focus on new deals, not basic service to the customers they already have. "We can't mail them after they expire, so you have to come it them." AKA: I don't have to do anything but sit here in my chair eating while you drive over here to me. Good effort Sandra. We can see why you're such a success.

After real estate car sales in the MOST outdated industry we have and they really don't seem to see it coming that the latest online service to buy a vehicles entire marketing approach was "THAT DIDN'T SUCK"

If too many people didn't make more money than they are worth because of %'s on big ticket items people would actually enjoy they process and be repeat customers.

I was warned that Cooley had a bad reputation, but the place was nice and they had what I wanted.

All that was left is to tell me they truth, give me a fair deal and do what you say.

The sales manager was good.

The rest ?

Guess what happened after Cooley spent all that time and money making sure the facility and inventory was nice and appealing ?

Lack of accountability, greed and laziness... MADE IT SUCK !

Clay Cooley Auto Group Service department

Just felt you should know that I will never enter your dealership again due to the extremely poor service department. 10/09/2020 I took my rline convertaible in for service. The service manager I got did not introduce himself and refused to look at my problem, which is under warranty. I will not recommend your dealership due to the rude service manager who spoke to me.

Never again! I refuse to be treated like a peon.

Clay Cooley Auto Group salesmanship

Allowed me to leave the lot making 2 car payments that they knew I was unable to make. I take responsibility for agreeing, but the fact that they cared more about getting cars off the lot than whether or not I was going to be in a bind for a car that had a design flaw makes me wonder why they offered me those options.
I called immediately to let them know it was clear that I had made a mistake and all they said was "it's your car now". Moses medina and david lopez both told me that I should turn it into the bank to keep from being responsible for the 2019 jetta that has a design flaw (recognized by vw, though they say it doesn't cause any harm. They asked if I was planning on buying a house and since I wasn't they said it wouldn't hurt anything. I could go on. Don't go to clay cooley park cities vw in dallas unless you go on the defense.

Complaint from:

Subject:

I am in such a terrible place right now because of my experience at Clay Cooley. I feel that no one has wanted what's best for me, but only what's best for the dealership which is to get cars off the lot no matter what you need to do or what situation you put the customer in.
I'm going to take a hit on my credit because I was given an option that I would never have thought about on a car that had a defect, causing driving it to be a horrible experience. Clay Cooley didn't care about that. All you cared about was that I owned the car (that I bought from you) and you weren't responsible for it any longer. (I have attached my experience with the 2019 Jetta since July 30, 2019.) Clay Cooley, Moses Medina and David Lopez, didn't want to help my situation. They only made it worse.
I should never have been able to drive away with 2 cars.

Experience:

I was guided into leasing a Passat while I was purchasing a 2019 Jetta. Then I was advised to turn in the 2019 Jetta (that turned out to have a defect acknowledged by VW but they say it doesn't damage the car) that Clay Cooley sold me 5 months previously (many bad reviews about it online) in which VW cared nothing about me, the customer, that is driving it once it was bought... and it would hurt my credit. WHO DOES THAT? Only someone who cares more about their bottom line than having a customer that felt cared for. I will never recommend Clay Cooley VW Park Cities to anyone.

I feel totally used and that I was not helped in either case. I'm now paying for a car I'm purchasing AND leasing a car as well because you guys only wanted to get cars off the lot since it was the last 2019 (that's what you told me and you also told me I could probably get a good deal on it). You were NOT interested in my situation at all and what that would do to me, your customer. You knew how upset I was about VW Corporation not recognizing that the 2019 Jetta issue was disturbing to me and so many customers - that they would do nothing to fix the grinding in my 2019 Jetta. You knew I hated driving it. I had been to your service department 5 times to resolve the 2019 Jetta issue. You knew I didn't want to keep the 2019 Jetta under any circumstance. You knew I was concerned about it and every time I protested you came back with another option for me to purchase or lease another car. It seems you know how to wear a customer down... Congratulations. And I allowed it.

My experience with Clay Cooley VW Park Cities was one that cared nothing about me at all. You just wanted cars off the lot and talked me into helping you do that. You knew I couldn't afford both cars yet you watched me drive off the lot with them. I guess that helped you out. Again, congratulations!

I even came up to talk to someone on Monday, December 30th to try and get out of the lease because I realized that I had been guided into making a terrible decision.

I'm so sick about all this. It's 4:26 a.m. and this is not unusual. I wake up every morning with remorse about what I allowed you to talk me into. I wake up with anxiety over this every morning over the fact that you didn't help me out after buying a car that clearly was a terrible driving experience yet still having to continue to pay for it.

I'm a trusting person and I trusted you all to help me out, but that trust has caused me to be in a situation that is so upsetting to me that I haven't been able to get a full nights sleep since leasing the Passat on December 18, 2019. And, I have hated driving the 2019 Jetta that I purchased on July 30, 2019. This has been 5 horrible months for me. My first VW, a 2008 Passat, was a great experience. The salesman knew what would over-extend me and helped me reach an agreement that was within my budget and was workable for me.

I feel so used.

My experience with Clay
Cooley and my 2019 Jetta - SEQUENCE OF EVENTS
I trusted you guys the first time I came based on your association with Achieve where I volunteered and that you would guide me in a caring way. I'm a very trusting person and never thought that you would use me for your gain. I feel so stupid. Now I have 2 cars. One a fixed income. Over extended. And in trouble financially. I told David I couldn't do this. You trained him well.
I have made such a bad decision. It's my decision. I take responsibility for it. But the bottom line for the dealership was more important. If I'm wrong…prove me wrong. But I feel like you guys gave me bad advice just to get the car of the lot.
August 2016: I Traded in my 2008 Passat and leased 2016 Jetta
Turned out to be a bad decision because it was my only car and at the 3 years (July 2019) mark I had driven 46, 000 of the 48, 000 I was allowed.
I came up here just to see what my options were. I made the decision to pay more and purchase a car (2019 Jetta) because I wanted to be unrestricted on my mileage.
I brought it back up here August 29 because the car made a grinding sound when it changed gears at 25-30 mph. When I picked it up I was told they couldn't replicate it.
It continued and I brought it up here 3 more times.
The 4th time I left it here and was given a 2019 Jetta loaner. It did the same thing! So, when I got home, I started my extensive research and found that it was a typical and common problem. The VW Vortex and many other reviewers have review after review stating this is a problem. VW states that" it performs as it's designed to perform" It is possible caused by a loose plate. Possible it is because what used to be on the passenger side is now on the driver's side so it is more audible to the driver.
I tried to continue to drive it but the idea that I was paying $34, 000 for a car I hated to drive (because the noise was significantly disturbing) was unacceptable.
I came up here again, just see what my options were in getting rid of the 2019 Jetta with the grinding noise.
We spent over 5 hours working on a solution.
David had me test drive the Passat, the last 2019 on the lot. I told him I couldn't go over $500 and that I didn't want to go that high though. I told him I didn't want to have to drive the Jetta any longer.
You guys crunched the numbers.
I asked about trading in the 2019 Jetta. Of course, I was upside down on it.
They suggested that I voluntarily turn in the Jetta to Capital One. I wouldn't be responsible for the payments any longer. It would affect my credit some but paying on the Passat would offset it. David said that if I wasn't going to be buying a house it wouldn't matter. I'm very concerned about my credit score. Having good credit is very important to me as you could see. But, I stupidly agreed to do that.
I agreed to lease the passat so I that wouldn't have to drive the Jetta any longer.
I ended up possessing 2 cars, taking the Passat AND the Jetta home.
Moses Medina told me that Capital One, who financed my 2019 Jetta, will tell me that I am responsible for the payments, but as long as they have the car, that's all that needs to happen.
I HAVE LOOKED AT CLAY COOLEY'S REVIEWS AND THIS SEEMS TO BE YOUR Mode of Operation.
What can I do? I am in so much trouble. Please, what are my options.
Then I called David Lopez crying. He said to wait until after the holidays.
I waited until December 30th to come up and try to get out of the lease. Moses Medina said I couldn't. I told him that I had not be driving it. He said I should've been driving it because it is mine. I had only put 138 miles on it ( + the 21 miles to drive it up that day.)
I would never recommend Clay Cooley!
I feel they told me to wait knowing that I wouldn't be able to do anything if I waited.

Yea, I feel for you. I say that in all sincerity, buying a new car shouldn't leave you feeling that at all. My experience with Clay Cooley has been horrible as well. You are so right they do not care about customers it's all about them and how fast they can get you to sign before you realize what just happen.

By then it's to late you signed and it's a done deal.

Clay Cooley Auto Group service or the lack of it!

On monday, november 25, at approximately 7:45 am, I brought my vehicle to clay cooley nissan for service. I asked for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I told them I needed shuttle service home and back to pick up the car. At 2:39 pm I had not heard anything from the dealership so I called to check on the car.
The service receptionist said she'd have someone call me. At 5:45 pm no one had contacted me, so I called again. The man who answered in service said the car was ready but was at car wash. I told him I needed a shuttle again and had to remind him of my number, even though I had left it that morning.
I finally arrived back at dealership after 6:00 pm. I had to wait another 25 minutes for my check out paper work.
No one came to tell me anything about the car! They said they'd bring it around. Well they didn't! It was sitting on the back of the department. This is awful service and I am truly disappointed. Shop me first-shop me last-either way-come see clay only applies when they want a sale! It's certainly not for service! Twelve hours for a routine oil change is ridiculous and the customer having to call you instead of you calling me! Unacceptable!'

Clay Cooley Auto Group overall experience as well

Spoke to internet manager Chris Carter who insisted I come in because he could assist me with a trade. The vehicle is already through their fresh start program. The sales man that's assisted (not Chris) was not knowledgeable and couldn't answer simple questions. He asked to see our vehicle ( they never provided a trade in quote or even started the car to look at it) and then submitted our information and told us to we could only get one type of vehicle. Long story short we like the vehicle and when he came back he stated that the notes would be around 771 for 2016 vehicle with 50000 miles . What was the worst part is that he lied and said clay Cooley would pay off the entire vehicle and the remainder of our loan would be transferred over. We already know that. That's not what they submitted to the bank. They submitted our entire remainder loan payment on what we owe on the car along with the new car information. No trade value or differential amount. So then the sales man tell us we should take the deal. He stated that the fresh start program ended and that I should take it and go with a bank. ( Never knew the program ended and I've been paying them for a year). Before leaving Chris proceeds to try and convince me to pay 360 every two weeks for 8 months and then trade again and that only 5% of people are able to come out of a clay Cooley loan and basically we should go with it. I would never do business with this place. They basically never was paying anything for the trade but just submitted our amount left on the in-house loan over to the bank and they would of just gotten there vehicle back for nothing. Pushing us to take the bait. Even after me telling this man I'm pregnant and have kids and will not wast money towards an 800 note he still told me "oh you can make it work because I know you won't let your kids go without". Can never get my money again and I'll be definitely going elsewhere! I appreciate the sales tactics but the dishonesty just for a deal that could put someone in a serious financial bad state is not what makes a good deal. Bad representation of the company.

Clay Cooley Auto Group used car(s) purchased at clay cooley chevrolet in irving

I have filed complaints with CarGuru, BBB, and the State Attorney General's office regarding this matter. I took those actions only after trying to work this out with the dealership and getting nowhere.
On 9/14 I worked out a deal with Augustine Gomez to trade in my Mercedes E400 coupe for a Nissan Maxima sedan and $4K. The additional cash was due to the imbalance in value between the two cars. I had an appointment to keep, so I told Augustine that I would be back later that day or when they opened the following morning. The used car manager, Ron, tried to get me to stay and finish the deal, saying he could cut the check immediately and get me on my way. But I had no choice. I had to leave. I was there the next morning at 9:00am. The Maxima was ready for delivery. Augustine and I started the paperwork. I quickly noticed the terms had changed. The $4K difference had disappeared and now I would have money owed to the dealership. I asked to see Ron. He was not there. I was now dealing with Mike, and his opinion was that I had been mistaken. Now the deal was off and I should have left. They offered other vehicles that were of noticeably less value. I repeatedly said no. Then they offered a used Impala. The car had readily visible issues and defects that need repair and attention. I told them, I would make the deal if they would give me a loaner car and repair all of the issues that existed on the Impala. Mike said No. His position was that I had to take the car that day, and I could bring it back sometime in the future for service. I took the car. When I got home, I started inspecting the car more closely and realized there were more problems with the car than we originally discussed. I called Augustine immediately the next business day and said I changed my mind and the Impala was in no condition to be delivered as a used car. He said to bring it in the next morning. I was there at 9:00am. I pointed out all of the problems I had found. I asked everyone to allow me to speak to a General Manager or Clay Cooley. They said No. I again asked for my original car and cancelling the deal. They refused. At that point, they offered a loaner car and they would turn the Impala over to their Service Dept. I didn't want the car. It had too many problems. I asked again to speak with the GM. The Finance Manager came out to speak with me. I went over the entire experience with him again. When I told him that Clay Cooley sold a car that had not been fully serviced, had not been inspected, and had not been detailed, he replied that can't be true. We (Clay Cooley) put every used car through an extensive 171 point inspection before they are allowed on the lot. I said to him, "Not this car". He said I was wrong, and he went to get the inspection sheet evidence. He never returned. There was no paperwork. Mike still would not consider/allow the deal to be cancelled. But, he offered an alternative. There was another Maxima that was not as well equipped or valuable as the one I had originally agreed to purchase. But, if I decided on that car, I would forfeit the $4K that was part of the original deal. I was in a corner, and had no negotiating power. I test drove the car. The vehicle made a loud low pitched sound when accelerating to cruising speed. I mentioned it to Augustine during the drive. He didn't hear it. I said it could be the road, but I believe it's in the car. He said everything seemed fine to him. I took the car home. The next day I drove the car and the low pitched sound was still there. I drove straight to Nissan of Fort Worth. They took the car and called me a few hours later. The car was unsafe to drive. The wheel hub assemblies and bearings on the right side were damaged. Continued driving could have easily resulted in an accident. I once again contacted Augustine with the information. I want to come to an agreement with Clay Cooley. You have sold me two cars in one week. Neither of which did I actually want. The first car was dirty, damaged, unserviced, and uninspected. Yet, your internal procedures allowed your used car staff to push it towards a senior customer, assuring him everything would be taken care of at a later date. Then you replace that vehicle with one that has serious/dangerous mechanical damage that is audible to a senior customer with limited hearing, and verified/repaired by a different dealership's service department.
Can we go back to square 1 and do this right?

Clay Cooley Auto Group used car sales abuses

I purchased a 2016 F150 from them on 4/26/18.
I traded in a 2016 Jeep Renegade. that had an outstanding loan of around 16K.

They have not paid off my trade in and now the bank is calling and sending certified letters wanting to know why I have not paid the last 2 payments.

They promised that I would get a refund for an extended service contract I had on my trade...and now they have clammed up and refuse to give me straight answers.

They told us our loan was funded a month ago but we still have no tags or even a letter or payment book from the supposed lender.

I went personally (twice) to the dealership to ask what was going on and got the cold shoulder runaround and then a promise that the issues would be resolved in five days. When the five days were up without any changes, I wrote to the dealership via their on-line website contact page. And once again I have been ignored.

Clay Cooley Auto Group sales

Worst experience ever at the Galleria Chevrolet location! I drove from FT.Hood/Killeen TX (+160miles) to buy a 2014 sonic rs and Tiffany assured me the last 3 days that the car was there and that if it was sold they would let me know. The day prior Tiffany called to confirm that I was still driving up there and that the Sonic was still there. At abound 920am Friday someone called me to confirm that I will be there by 1045 and that the Sonic was there. Soon I step through the door I ask for Veronica? Met with her, I sat down while she went to look for the keys. She comes back saying she couldn't find it and that she would check with the service department for the keys but said alex would start the paperwork. alex confirm that the car was sold the night prior and said they had another sonic in stock, a little higher in price in an LT model. I stopped him short and asked if it was a 6 Speed Manual and he said, no it was an automatic. I firmly said I wanted a 6speed manual. He said he'll be right back to look around and I told him that there was only 2 in the state. So I waited about 5min. While waiting I called Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet in FT. Worth about their 2016 Sonic RS and they still had it, so I hung up the phone and left the dealer. Alex and the other chick was at the front desk with other people talking next to the front door.

PS: The 2014 Sonic RS had 54k mile, at $10, 998? which was roughly $1k over NADA price of non Certified Pre-Owned (CPO). No pictures asked if pics could be sent to my phone day prior, none was texted to my phone.
If you're going to have a sales person in a professional environment, shouldn't hire a female with a tattoo of lips between her breasts. My fault, I should've realized that's a sign of a hood rat working for ratty business.

Clay Cooley Auto Group Poor service

I am the owner of a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, purchased brand new from Clay Coley Chevrolet. I left work early one day to get my oil changed, a recall issue, and 2 other issues taken care of with my vehicle at Clay Cooley Chevrolet in Irving, TX. I was there for a total of 5 hours, not including the hour it took me to get home in traffic. When I left the dealership, the only thing that had been done to my vehicle, was a car wash. I asked to speak to someone in corporate...they gave me a sales guy, who in turn gave me a 1/4 tank of gas like that was supposed to make up for the time that was now gone from work day. I called to speak to the General Manager, and when he answered the phone he was already rude. By the end of the conversation, he spoke to me as if I was seeking money, and told me to "have a nice life" and "don't come back to Clay Cooley Chevrolet EVER". I couldn't believe it. To this day, thinking about the way I was talked to and treated, brings me to tears. I work so hard for everything I have and feel I should have been treated with much more respect, but that didn't happen. I contacted GM for assistance, and my call was escalated. I spoke with someone who advised me the situation would definitely be handled and the staff at Clay Cooley Chevrolet would be reprimanded for their actions towards me. She also told me I could expect a phone call from Clay Cooley apologizing for the way I was treated...HA HA, that was a joke. Absolutely NOTHING happened! My vehicle has not been fixed, and my key is still getting stuck in the ignition. Went to Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson, TX and had my oil changed at least...got my car back and there are huge dirty, oily hand prints on my hood and my trunk...I am going to sell this vehicle that I once loved and was so excited about owning...I want no parts of Chevy or GM if this is what I have to look forward to...

Clay Cooley Auto Group Fraud

On June 14, 2014
I went out to Clay Cooley of Irving, Texas and traded in the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt that I had purchased from the same company in July 2013. The sale went thru and I was given a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic with a payment a little higher than I had been paying. When I bought the old Chevrolet Cobalt the company tells you to make all payments on time to rebuild your credit and to come in after 1 to 2 years to trade in the old car and get a new car. I changed my Auto Insurance with Geico. I changed my toll tag and put it on the new car, and then on Wednesday June 18, Clay Cooley sent the wrecker to come to my home and repossess the new car, saying that because my job had laid me off, and I did not have 2 check stubs I could not get financed for the new car. My current income is Social Security $1500, and Unemployment $900 a month, and I also have a IRA for $33, 000. I spoke to Justin Carr who is one of the managers, Damian, and Harold an account representative, all to no avail. I was left with no way to the dealership to get my money back of $1500, and no way to any of my clients. This is the worst company I have ever done business with, and when I do pay off this 2008 Cobalt I would never purchase anything from Clay Cooley. I will be advising every friend, co-worker, relative, anywhere and everywhere not to ever purchase any vehicle from Clay Cooley. I know that I have challenged credit, This is the reason I was rebuilding my credit with them, since my sister and mother were ill. I am trying to pay all of my current bills on time. I wasted four days with this worthless company. I even contacted channel 4 News.

Clay Cooley Auto Group Waste of Time

Clay Cooley is the worst place to purchase a vehicle, they tell you they can help you even if you have bad credit or no credit. I went in to do a trade in the offered me close to nothing on my trade in and still wanted $4000.00 down. I explained I did not want to put any money down and that I lived far away and DID NOT want to drive all the way out there if they were going to just say they couldnt help me, still they asked me to come in and they would get me into a vehicle WRONG! The guy that helped me did not offer any other solutions all he said was " how much you got to put down " once I said nothing his whole attidude changed and made it seem like he did not need my business. Clay Cooley Auto Group Worst service department

I admit I have never dealt with Clay Cooley ever, except for seeing him on TV, I read what other people write and say about dealers but always try and form my own opinion. In short, I would never return to Clay Cooley's service department for as much as putting air in my tires... absolutely horrendous.

I have owned nothing but Nissans, quality product, and whilst I have only purchased Nissans from two dealerships (Jerry's Nissan - now Southwest Nissan in Weatherford) and Don Davis Nissan in Arlington (lifetime customer) I have used service departments at several (for convenience, ie work etc). Every dealership has been professional and their service department extremely knowledgable, these dealers include the aforementioned as well as Grubbs Nissan in Bedford and West Loop Nissan (aka Thornhill Nissan) in Fort Worth. Clay Cooleys service department, inept.

Here's what happened. I drive a brand new 2011 Nissan Titan SV, love it, but it doesn't have the Homelink mirror installed. Not a problem when I purchased it from Don Davis (and this is how honest they are), buy one, whether from them or elsewhere and it can be installed very easily, the SV is pre-wired. OK, sounds good, so I get on ebay and find a dealership in Arizona which is selling some discounted. I email them prior to purchase to confirm it will fit my truck, they asked for my VIN number, which I provided, they confirmed it would fit, and it arrives a few days later. That Saturday I decide to drive to Clay Cooley Nissan, they are a little closer to my house than Don Davis, to find out how much they would charge to install it. Ok, the service guy when he walks out and is quite professional, asks me what I need and I explain about the mirror install. He looks confused (first warning sign btw). He then says, and I quote, um, let me ask my manager. He walks off and leaves me standing in the service bay. About 10 minutes passes, he comes back and explains he doesn't know whether it will fit my truck, they would need it for a day to check, then make sure they didn't need to order parts including a new harness, reprogramming the computer to accept the mirror, and it would cost quite a few hundred dollars!. Needless to say, I was a little shocked given what other dealers had told me and a friend of mine as the 2011 Nissan Titan SV which has it installed'. I asked the guy whether he could find this information out with the VIN number, he said no (Second warning sign now)|. So I leave;. I call Don Davis, their response, sure, bring it in, we'll have it done in an hour, . So I head down there with my mirror (and harness which comes with the mirror incidently) and less than an hour later, I am driving out with my newly installed working homelink mirror..

Clay Cooleys service department based on this are one of two things, either completely clueless about the product they purport to service, or they pick and choose what they want to service, . Either way, I wouldn't take my truck there ever! I'll drive to Arlington to Don Davis!

I recently traded my 2012 Nissan Max in on a 2014 Nissan Max. December 2, 2013. The account on the 2012 stayed open for 2 months, I realized that I had mailed a payment in on the 2012 Nissan and bought it to the attention of Clay Cooley Nissan and Nissan company. The customer service representative told me that I had an over payment that of 1, 518.18 that would be refunded to me however when I informed Clay Cooley finance section about it they contacted Nissan and requested that the overpayment be sent to them. I was told to contact my bank and get a copy of my account showing payment had been processed the account of my monthly payment was $718.90 which was processed on December 6, 2013. I don't know where the remaining balance of $799.28 come from but my main concern is the payment I made and wasn't a part of my new deal. They drag there feet on everything even telling you to come back for a copy of your contract you'll get it but it will take awhile it's not with all the contract preparers there are a couple good one's but the boss in finance seem to have a very unconcerned attitude and will not answer phone calls most of the time.

Clay Cooley Auto Group Worst Service

Traded our truck in over a month ago and Clay Cooley has yet to send the payoff to GMAC/Ally. We have been so disappointed with the service we have received we actually have already traded in the truck we bought from Clay Cooley. Funny thing is the one we bought from Clay was financed through Wells Fargo and our first payment wasn't going to be due until 10-25-10 and Wells Fargo called us and the dealership we went to to get rid of the one we bought from Clay bothering us and them for when the pay off amount would be received! I have called the accounting office at Clay Cooley and keep getting voice mails. The 1 time I did talk to them they said the payoff was sent on 9-22-10, here is 10-5-10 and GMAC/Ally has not received payment, now we will be charged late fees and screw up out excellent credit history!

My daughter purchased a 2013 GL and 1 week after buying it there were multiple problems and after their diagnosis they video all the problems but they had neglected to tell her when she bought the $20000 car and did not sign her up for a warranty. Now they want her to pay for @ $1000 in repairs. This is really bad business. We will pursue this legally if nessasary in court and public notification thru radio and TV announcements

They are cheaters, I took my car that was hit in the rear to them for a diagnostics so that I could claim my mony from the insurance company, instead of running a diagnostics they just made up a statement which was not true. I ended up paying for someone elses negligence.

Clay Cooley and his so called professional team or nothing more then somewhere to kill time before you go to a real dealership, The whole ordeal to try too by a car from them is running your credit four or five times to the highest bidder they don't have a clue about what it is too serve a customer the sales people run around like chickens with the heads off Clay Cooley is nothing more than a gimmick DON'T GO SEE CLAY STAY AWAY FROM CLAY.

Clay Cooley Auto Group Shady dealership

Bought a good car for a good price. Salesman was very nice. I messed up by not looking at the engine but found out later that their was no air filter in there. That does not pass inspection. A car at a dealership cannot be sold if it could not pass inspection but I'm the one who didn't check so thats my bad. But the fact that they sold me it knowing there was no air filter brings me to look down on the dealership. They're doing their thing trying to make easy money by ripping people off and if they can get away with it, good for them but it will come back to them so how. It might not be so pretty in the future. Some other shady stuff went on too.

Clay Cooley Auto Group - Auto Swindlers

Purchased my car in July 2007 after speaking with sales rep. via phone calls for a few weeks. Was told I qualified for a "new" program that gives second chances to deserving customers attempting to rebuild credit. For $1000 down I could choose from over 20+ new/barely preowned vehicles that would count towards all 3 credit bureaus and in return I after...

Clay Cooley Auto Group Nightmare

My husband and I recently went to Clay Cooley in Marietta Oklahoma after speaking to them on the phone and going through the whole review process and them saying my husband was approved. We had a 900.00 down payment and we were trading in a 99 F250 4x4, they said they were giving us 5200.00 for it! Ok, great, well, when we sat there all day LITERALLY all day, they said that we aren't approved and the only way they could do it was if we had someone to buy it for us and then just let us make the payments, ok well my parents said ok. We come back the next day with my parents and sign all the papers, give them all the info and leave in our 06 Isuzu. Well, then I start getting calls saying it needs to be returned because they couldn't get it financed. I said NO they said they would try another finance co., ok then they didn't get that one through either. It needed to be returned... I said ok I need my 900 & the truck back. They wont do it. We are going to be out everything, we have 5 kids, jobs, bills? Do not think so. So we still have the Isuzu and are probably going to be in trouble for theft but they totally messed us around. Clay Cooley is nothing but a joke and a nightmare.

Shame on you! You falsified your information. You were not truthful about your credit. You would not return the vehicle and put thousands of miles it. You lied on several occasions about returning the vehicle and kept it for several months. Your lucky the dealer didn't put you in jail! don't hide behind your children...Pay your bills on time so you can qualify for a vehicle and I hope you don't teach your kids the way you behaved!
