Be very wary when dealing with The Classic Car Connection in St. Catherines, Ontario Canada. I had a deal to purchase a car from them, which they then turned around and "changed their mind" and decided to keep the vehicle.

I should have been more cautious as the dealer Mel Waters told me he told another customer the exact same story as he wanted someone like me to own the car. Honestly, he was great to deal with when trying to buy the car as he went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the deal. But why not when you're not going to deliver the vehicle in the end anyway. In the end I believe someone else came along and offered more cash so he steered himself in that direction, although the suggestion was that the car was being kept for his own enjoyment.

Be very careful dealing with these guys. Their cars are well used and may have some issues. I knew the one I was looking at did, but I was willing to accept that. Others may think they're getting a great deal but be stuck with thousands in repair bills.

i read the supposed buyers profile and he is using false identitys to complain about the same deal word for word but 1 year later and under another identity and another country, come on already stop whinning about you making a mistake and not leaving a deposit on a car and it being sold to someone else, . This is not a fair way of telling your side of the storey it is not telling the whole storey at all.
Regards Mopar ...

As for the complaint from the gentleman who was buying the car from the classic car connection, you came to see the car and never left a deposit as you wanted to think about it, in the time you were thinking about it another person came along with the funds and bought the car, and yes the car had issues that were disclosed to you as were they disclosed to the other person, he had it inspected and repaired and is currently enjoying his porsche 928 and has under $4000 invested into a nice car, As the saying goes money talks and bs walks, you shouldnt be critical if you didnt leave a deposit to hold the car, if you did you would own it .
Regards Mel ... and yes it was my own personal car and had to sell because of health problems .
