On November 13, 2019, we spoke with two different Rep ( Diane & Supervisor Latawyn) regarding our payments not being applied as directed. We send $ 600.00 & the payments are $ 563.30 the difference is always to be applied to the principal...Every other month, we are having to call because the payments are not correct. Diane and I had words, she was not a pleasant person to deal with and it appears she took it upon herself (or someone there did) to put this account on auto pay... NEVER WAS AUTHORIZED. PULL THE TAPE, , ANDREW & I REPEATEDLY SAID 1 TIME PAYMENT ONLY...PULL THE TAPE

Confirm # S 5532474 was given on November 13 for a ONE TIME WITHDRAWL of $600.00. As you can see from our bank account...that didn't happen... Citizen has taken 2 unauthorized payments from out account & has created an overdrawn status to our account

We are requesting that Citizen do the right thing and refund these overdrawn charges.

Citizens Bank closed my account

My husband and I have an account together. We are trying to close several weeks and we failed. We are in Florida, where there is no agency. and from here we will return to Brazil.We cannot reset the account because it does not and does not receive a transfer. and it is impossible to withdraw 0, 05. yesterday we managed to pass this amount on the card and the account was reset.We requested account closure and there was no response. To our surprise today the 0.5 cent value has returned.I need to close the urgent account. I need a solution. when right at the agency the only thing I hear is that they can do nothing.I need to close the account.

Citizens Bank unsatisfied customer of over 25 years

I Mark Golshan Busines owenr of Doyonda Auto Sales I am writing this letter to bring to your attention that I am not satisfied with your quality of service provided at Citizens Business bank Branch located at 1095 N Garey ave. Pomona ca 91767, I am talking about the service provided on 10/21/2019 ans I want to let yopu know I was very upset with the service manager Eddie Ennis. Recently there was a check issued by an insurance company under Doyonda Auto Sales & Qarmon PC for the amount of about $3, 300 Qarmon PC signed and stamped and sent it to Citizens business Bank Branch in Pomona they didnt take it for the reason they said that Qarmon PC's bank needed to be the one to Endorse the check. I asked if I can get it Endorsed by the other party and they said I had to go to the El Monte Branch since I couldnt go Qarmon PC got it Endorsed by chase Bank and again I sent my employee who she is a well known customer at the pomona citizens branch office t make the deposit and they told her this time arounf by the service manager Eddie Ennis that a letter was misinf in the stamp of the Endorsement and she couldnt do anything to help us and she didnt do the deposit of the check and instaed she amde bold and uncomforatble comments to my employee Stating and saying to her "why is he sending you to do his dirty work?" I spoke with Laura from my main office branch of my account and explained what had happened and she responded with "I dont know what dirty work means. I have been a regular and true customer of yourbusiness with an account with you for over 25 years. I would like a follow up on this situation on how its being handled. Thank you.

These idiots accepted me as a auto loan and now dont have any record of it. I am unable to get a title if they say I paid it off but with no record, they wont send a title.

Citizens Bank lack of notification of loan discharge payment owed in order to close loan

I paid off my mortgage (they called it a Home Equity Loan) in June 2019. For 5 months, Citizen's Bank has sent me statements saying that I owed $0 on the principal. I heard that getting my mortgage-ending paperwork took some time, so I've been waiting for something to document that my house is all mine.

Today I went to the Malden branch and was told that the hold up was that I owed $75.00 for a "discharge fee". That is nowhere reflected on my statements, and I never received notice that I owed that money.

Neither the person at the branch, nor the customer service rep that I talked to on the phone today could tell me why I was not sent notice of that discharge fee.

Just looking for an answer, and I don't know who else to ask or where else to post the question.

Citizens Bank Complete run around. Bank manager / home equity department not knowledgeable.

We received info from citizens bank on home equity loans. Went to speak with seraphina wentworth ben... And john ventura both in the new bedford tarklin hill branch. We were interested in a 38, 000 home equity or a mortgage as the rates are lower than what we presently have. Pressure to apply for a 100.000 as the rates are lower. We had no interest in this. The bank lost or misplaced our personal information and we had to provide it 3 times. The first application wewere denied but the home appraisal came in at 250, 000. My husband applied and after three weeks we received a call from jesse, a very rude and indignant invidual. He "countered with an offer of 19, 000. My husband declined. Jesse told us that the appraisal came in at 220, 000.in a months time the valuewent down 30, 000? We have e-mailed, called with no response. We received a letter telling us our loan of 75, 000 was denied due to insufficient collateral. We never put in for a 75, 000 loan. Fraud... Fraud... Fraud. Citizens will not provide us with the appraisal... They wanted us to pay 500.00 but we refused. I went into the bank and requested to speak with a regional manager. It was like pulling teeth. I was told kristy smith may call me but I probably wouldn't understand her anyway. She did call, I called her back and still haven' t connected with her.
Citizens is not responsive. Unetical buisness practices.
Just as a funny side note... Stop by citizens on tarklin hill road in new bedford. Look at seraphinas office wall. She has an 8x 10 pictiure of herself on the wall.

Citizens Bank customer service

I have a complaint about the manager Renee Arbor. Every time I have gone to that bank it has been busy. I go between the 1pm-3pm times. There is usually one person working and 3 teller booths. The manger doesn't seem to care that there is a long line waiting and one teller working. I know she is the manager but she can't pitch in for a short amount of time to get the line going? She never pitches in to help. Whatever happened to team work and good customer service? She is seen standing right at the front next to the teller and will not assist. Meanwhile, the line is long and people, including me, are frustrated that they are standing in line for what seems to be a good amount of time and leaving the bank not very happy. I know this because we talk amonst ourselves in disbelief. Can corporate please do something about this? Thank you, concerned banker of yours.

Citizens Bank your staff need to be drug tested,

Over and over asked multiple staff Mgr to stop sending me your flyers, along with my many complaints, l have had in the past as a customer, you and your so called directors know how to flip the script, on Bank Fraud FDIC ins how about filing false ins claims on false misleading lies, you have way to much info
On private citizens it's the big CEO's of citizens bank breaking the law, and covering their sins Drama jerkoffs playing the scams. All your employees at citizens need to be watched you all know who's into stealing that $

My parents (deceased) and I have acounts at Citizens Bank on Rolf Street in Cranston since the 1950's / 1960's. I live in Chicago area but have maintained a safety deposit box for the past many years even though I closed out my Citizens accounts in 2018. Every summer I get an invoice to my correct address in Illinois to pay my yearly cost for safe depsoit box.

Yesterday I got a voice mail from Citizens Bank Rolf St. in Cranston asking me to call them without being specific. I spoke to the manager this morning telling her I never got notice and she claimed it only went to the proper parties address that's why I didn't get it. When I explained I was proper party she claims 4 notices went out since August which is simply UNTRUE I was never given notice of any kind that as of November 15th they will open my safety deposit box and ship contents to unknown location and I have to pay $150 for their error.

I asked if a good lifelong friend who lives in Rhode Island could open the box if I sent him a key and authorization and she said " I don't know and while nice lady manager of the branch didn't have a clue what to do and since I'm not longer a customer I'm a low priority.

It's common sense to allow me to get a note notarized to give my buddy permission with the key I'll send him to go to the bank and get my personal belongings with sentimental value to my parents who passed and important to me.

I sent an email to the bank's President Keith Kelly but am pretty sure I won't hear back as it's likely low concern to him but why should it be? If your truly a bank connected to families how you treat those like me is an example if your a true community bank that cares about past long term customers? HELP?

Citizens Bank service

I have been absolutely distroid with checks that were not authorized by me and hundreds of dollars in over draft fees because of this, and all I get is a huge running around when I call to try and fix this. I do not have the time to sit on the phone for hours on end to try and fix something that shouldn't have happened to begin with. I'm tired of dealing with a bank that doesnt care.

Citizens Bank regional manager not willing to give me supervisors name or contact information

On 9/17/19 my wife tried to deposit a bank check which was rejected by the teller at the Raymond NH branch. There was no branch manager available to talk to. My wife and I then went to the Derry, NH branch where there was no branch manager to talk to. I asked who the branch managers supervisor was and was give the Regional Managers name but was refused his contact information. I was told he would call me. He did not. On 9/18 I called a telephone number I found on line and spoke to the regional manager. He told me that bank policy prevented the deposit from being made. I asked him to provide me with the name and contact information of his supervisor and he refused. After the discussion got a bit heated he told me that he was "cancelling" my accounts.

The Regional Managers name is John Louiselle and I wish to speak to his supervisor.

Citizens Bank 1920s cold banking

Opted out of overdraft fees. If funds are not available transaction is supposed to decline. Tuesday september 3 I was hit with numerous overdraft fees etc. Nothing with citizens ever posts same day, live nor instantly and with labor weekend it was more delayed than usual. I was hit with 4 $35 overdraft fees, even though my online banking, card 800# and atm all stated on sunday I had funds available. When I called tuesday to see why a transaction I was trying to make devolved I was told "none of these account resources are accurate and shouldn't be relied upon" why offer services that you don't honor, services that did not work. I deposited cash on on. Saturday the 31st, cash didn't post until tuesday september 3rd.

Also my biweekly payroll checks always take several days to post regardless if I use mobile deposit ot physically bring the check in the hold it every time for a few days. I can go to wal-mart and cash it for 8-16$ why can't my own bank process it faster?! Payroll check not a foreign personal check.

I'm wasting my time writing these complaints. Citizens bank lacks many things and customer service skills is essentially none existent.

Citizens Bank fraud department / debit card

I was notified by citizens Bank on Thursday 22nd of August that my card was used fraudulently so they shut my card off and the gentleman I was talking to said he would Fed ex one and 1t will be there by Monday by 8 on the 23rd of August I called up so they could turn my card back on so I could get money out of the bank the lady I spoke to said that it was no regular mail and I said that I was promised I was going to FedEx so she said yes it is going FedEx and will be there Monday by 8 so on the 26th of August at about 6 at night I called again because I had not received the card the gentleman I spoke to said that the card would be there by 8 that day it never showed so I called again today on the 27th of August and the guy that I spoke to said that it went out regular mail I'm just wondering I would love to know if it's common that the fraud department lies to the customers not by one person not by two people but by three people I am definitely on the verge of getting rid of this Bank I would like some feedback on this thank you

Citizens Bank Bank teller - keith (there on temporary basis)

My Name is James Burton. Account # [protected].
I visited Citizens Bank on 8/15/19 at approximately 4:45 p.m. I went to the Bank to Deposit $200.00 in rolled coins. I had a Deposit Slip from my Checkbook. The Teller, Keith who informed that he was there on a temporary basis, was rude, disrespectful and his behavior made me think that I should withdraw my money and open an account at another Bank. He asked me for my I.D. with an attitude, even though I had provided a Deposit Slip & was only there to make a deposit. When I gave him my I.D., he held on to it. I had to ask him for it back. Keith needs Customer Service emphasizing on Respect for all Customers. Please provide a Resolution Response.

Citizens Bank it wasn't no air condition in this particular branch and for the customers and the bank tellers

I will get directly to the point on 6/27/2019 and at 12:39, Branch #594/Bank#060 Teller No.J058875 and at this particular Bank and here in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and at this particular Branch and their was no-Air Condition/it was so hot even through and they had Several Commercials Fans/All I was experiencing nothing and but Hot Air/feeling very uncomfortable, The was very embarrassing, and I was shokc and had to go to this particular Branch of Citizens Bank and once a month, And the fans were very loud and very annoying, hou had to be very careful and I had to proceed with caution, And I also felt very sorry and for the only Bank Teller I had seem in This particular Branch Bank, and Citizen's Bank and some paperwork and were blowing in the Bank's Teller face, And I felt like I was in The Movie Going With the Wind, and enthough these fans were blowing nothing but hot air and These so call Commercials Fans were not much assistance to me or the The Bank Teller neither. That was very inconvenience and embarrassing to me and The Bank Teller and as far as I am concern shame on Citizen Bank, location At Penn Center /Branch#5941 and Bank #060 without Air Condition and at 12:39 this particular Branch Bank Citizen should have been closed, without Air Condition, and I hope that the air condition has been fixed and at this particular branc, that 's is negligenceand Citizen Bank, At this particular Branch was inconsiderate of other people 's feelings, they were putting people health and at risk, and I was shocked and I have never seen a Bank and at this particular Branch and at Citizen Bank and done anything like this before. and Citizen Bank and at that particular Branch should and been putting the customer's First and and showing me and also The Bank Teller some respect and also the public and that Citizen Bank at that particular Bank Branch should have been closed on that particular day and without Air Condition and also once again Shame on Citizen Bank and I am looking forward to be hearing from guys real soon and regarding this important subject matter.

Citizens Bank 1 year cd maturing 7/13/2019

I opened an online 1 year fixed CD with a maturing date of 7/13/2019 with Citizens Access. About 1 month before the CD matures I wrote in an internal message to move my funds when the CD matures to my online savings account with them. On 7/13/2019 (a Saturday)I went online to check and found that did not happen. I called in and talked to a rep of their concierge team and after identification and explaining my problem was reassured that my instructions would be honored on the coming Monday 7/15/2019. I checked on Monday and found that was not the case and I called and talked to the same rep and was told the transfer was in process and will be done at latest on 7/16/2019. I asked for expedited treatment. On 7/16/2019 morning I checked and find that the transfer is still not done. I checked in the afternoon of 7/16/2019 and as of now my fund is still in the CD (now show maturing 7/13/2020).

Citizens Bank branch manager

The manager at this bank is a racist, bigoted representative of Citizens Bank! She should be investigated for her interactions with her customers as well as her employees! She has engaged in unethical behavior that warrants termination and corporate executives should be made aware of her actions. As the manager everything goes through her so it makes it difficult to file a complaint against her so it never reaches the proper department without interception! Thank you

Citizens Bank online banking

Citizens made errors on my account and place portions of my account in a holding account of their own. They refunded the money but the timing disrupted the transactions on my account. I asked them to place my account on hold or to freeze for all transactions until this was sorted out. It was agreed and determined that the error was on their end, not mine.

They refused to freeze the account and told me that I would be liable for any overdraft charges resulting from their errors. They refused to close the account because there is still a balance in it. I asked to refund me the difference or send it to a new account. They said that it would take up 30 days and that I would be liable for any of their fees and for any transactions that might come in even though I asked to freeze all transactions.

They said that this legal. I have been a client for over 30 years. I plan to close this out at the branch level. They then promised to escalate the matter but in the meantime, I cannot protect my account from the errors that they created in the first place. I need it frozen or closed from all unauthorized activity.

Citizens Bank customer service misleading info

I recently opened a bank account and I am awaiting to deposit my retro lump sum in my account. However a one time $7.00 overdraft is costing me hundreds of dollare now to oay bank.
I was told when I opened this account there is a one time fee of $35. per month.
My accouny is charged $35. every three days. How can I pay this when I am being charged all thesr overdraft fees?
I am pending my disability and I have no income. I am trying every week to deposit funds but the overdrafts is excessive.
PLEASE CONTAACT ME BEFORE I GO TO, BBB, FDIC, FEDS AND CONGRESS. I am kindly reaching out firstly for assistance.

Citizens Bank fraud

I've been with citizens Bank five years $29.95 was taken out of my account 14 times they assured me it would be fine and it would be refunded now I'm being told it will only cover up to 60 days yesterday I was told that the deposit was pending for today so essentially citizens telling me that it's OK for people to steal my money and this whole thing was my responsibility and not theirs to protect my money I'm pulling all my money out of citizens bank

Citizens Bank checking account fees

I opened my account @2 years ago. At the beginning, I was told about the mobile banking app . "Just set up your account through the app and there won't be any charges" Sounded easy enough. Until I tried to register a password. It wouldn't let me log in. I call the local branch, and they tell me to call the 800 number. I call the 800 number, only to be told, they can't help, I must call my local branch.
I call my local branch, explain to them what I have just talked to customer service about. Again, I was told to call customer service.
I never received the first solution from anyone. Fast forward to May 10th, 2019. I want to cash a check and they tell me my account is closed. I had -$21 balance I wanted to pay off . They lady said she couldn't do the payment as but will cash my check. Also tells me I have to write another check for the negative balance. I'm expecting a deposit on June 3rd and will not be able to access my funds!
If I had been given the right info to begin with. I wouldn't be having these problems now!

Citizens Bank new checking account promo

Opened A NEW account back in Dec based on a promotion of $400 after 90 days. Today nothing, called them and they said you have to make a direct deposit vs me walking into a bank and handing them a $25, 000 check. What difference does it make in either case money is deposited into the account. Citizens bank just used my money. Very misleading just to get new customers and use their money. Stay away there are much better banks out there that aren't out to screw you.
