Citi Trends exchange of a purchase

I went in to the Lamar Store . Memphis, Tn . This is the store I made my phurchase for my daughter's. The same store I returned to make an exchange. I've been shopping with Citi Trends for years and after tonight that changes . I bought clothes for my daughters on 2 separate occasions . Either the items was too big or they didn't like them being that I picked the items . Never have I heard you had to have the receipt to exchange anything . I wasn't trying to return the clothes for money or anything just a simple exchange . The Cashier and Store Manager Denied me ... I won't let this go because I work hard for my money to just go to waste with these items that they may never wear.

As soon as I walk to to the door she told me to get right out. I asked her if she was confusing me with someone else she said no she knew exactly where I was and my kind wasn't allowed in the store. I didn't understand because we're both Hispanic but I was very embarrassed and left. All I wanted to do is purchase a pair of socks. Thank you and have a great day.

Citi Trends the shoes they sold me I just want my cash back, the shoes are damage

I brought the shoes August 16 2019 and I ask why the shoes are dirty but I am not worrying about the dirt I know someone who cleans shoes. But the next day the alarm sensor was on one of my shoe, took it back to the store so they can take it off, but I was rushing I just told her to put it back in the bag and I left but yesterday when I wanted to wear my shoes on the spot where the alarm sensor, was on the shoe she the cashier damage the shoe I noticed that it was damage when I try to string up my shoes
I went to the store again and just ask for a refund, he did not even look at my receipt and told me I didn't buy the shoes at his store. I just want my money back. And report the manager. He had a sorry attitude no customer service skills. He talked to me wrong made me feel like I stole the shoes. Now I want my money back.
They are responsible for this cause one of his employees damage my shoes and was trying to hide it by tuck it into the shoe I wish I could have seen it that day but I was rushing and it is no excuses
Right is right and wrong is wrong
And the black tie is so tangle up in my other shoe I am not going to deal with it to try to take it off. I just want my refund
He just upset me. That's why I want my money back. I USED to be assistant manager at the sun ray store.

Citi Trends horrible customer service experience

I frequently shop at the Citi Trends located in Markham Illinois. I always find this particular store customer service skills and management to be unpleasant. Today I was in the store and the employees were openly talking about a customer as if I was not there. My frustration is this is not the first time that I have been at this location and the associates and manager openly talk and complain about the customer's how unprofessional and tacky is that. I found that to be totally unprofessional and totally disrespectful to the customers that were in line. Not only was the coworkers discussing the customer the manager engaged in the conversation as well. I sat there for a good two minutes at the cash register before interrupting the conversation and asking can someone please ring up for my purchase! Again I always find this particular location to be an unpleasant experience. Citi Trends is a customer-driven company and it is alarming the associates have an unpleasant demeanor. I am a project manager for a Healthcare Corporation . I always have my eyes and ears open for pleasant and outgoing personality to add to my team. I believe in elevating people for career opportunities. This particular location has the worst customer service experience that I've ever witnessed. That type of behavior should be addressed as soon as possible because whether it's good customer service or bad customer service it's all a representation of the company .

Citi Trends had a physical argument with a employee and the manager stood there and not said a word

It's a lot could someone give me a call at+[protected] thank you and have a good day. One of the associates thought someone was stealing but we thought she rung it up because we told her we didn't want it bagged so she handed it back so we left went in the next store for a customer to come tell us that she said we was stealing so we went back to pay for it as we were making the transaction she was very rude and unprofessional she was cursing and yelling at us telling us to be quiet and get the [censored] out the store by then we was asking for a refund because I will not do business with anybody that treats their customers like that and I will not be promoting a business like that I will and have told my family and friends to never shop there because of my experience! The manager name was Erica she just stood that and allowed her to talk to us and go back and forward like that the employee name was Trina! I'm highly disgusted because we spend a lot of money there and most people wouldn't have tried to come back and pay for nothing that they had already gotten away with but being that we are honest we did the right thing! This is unacceptable and if this is allowed I'm pretty sure we won't be the only customers you loose because of a rude unprofessional employee!

Citi Trends henderson store #175

I was in the Henderson store on 7/2/19 at 4:36pm and a sales associate was very rude to my son making him cry and he is only 8 yrs due to him standing by the done while I was shopping. This associate is always rude during her time in store it's as if she doesn't want to be there. The customers are definitely not her concern she just walks around as if she is superior over others. Last week I came into the store to do a exchange and I asked her a question and she rolled her eyes and said I have no idea. My suggestion is that someone talk to her about her attitude which I don't think will help or find her other employment like maybe the prison where she can be rude

Citi Trends did honest dm, fights

The District 50 DM is know for her favoritism and her Ability to create a problem when there clearly isn't one. She is well aware of all of the fighting going on at one of her store locations. It is unsafe for employees, however the disrespectful employees aren't that innocent. There has been at least 6 real fights in the last year, the previous store manager was fired for fighting but The DM kept one of the key holders because she was fond of her. Well on April 11, 2019 I was there shopping around 5:45 and the new Store Manager and the same assistant (Short Dark skinned girl with piercing) ran out of the store and was having a knock down drag out in the parking lot, the people from the Dollar Store broke it up. No employees were in the store. There were 3 customers including myself. The Store Manager was severely injured. When I didn't see her no more I assumed she was terminated because of the fight. The DM lied to her boss during the other big fight the previous year and said a friend of hers told her, that she witnessed the assistant and she wasn't fighting, look I live three blocks from staring, I am always shopping there, I was in the parking lot that evening and all of them were fighting. This is how the lil assistant Robin kept her job. The day of the April 2019 fight I went out of store and tried talking to them even talked to the store manager at the counter after when I was checking out her lip was hanging and bleeding. She had stitches in it when I saw her later that month. Then I didn't see her no more, so I just assumed. A member of mine is still employed there. He was recently promised a management position, I encouraged him not to take it.

Most of this DM backrooms were impacted all but her staring location, so must wonder why she employees permission to take trash out alone. Speak with current and former employees of this location to confirm. Reviewing video you can confirm as well

In June I was shopping there and The DM (like skinned older women short Paula, was at the countering up customers, a male came in to work and she left as he got on the register. She then went into the lil office and was on her phone, on a personal phone call. She was speaking of the store manager that had just gotten fired. I over heard all of the woman's personal business. I asked the cashier as I was checking was the old store manager ok and after a brief conversation the DM walked out the store leaving the employee in the store alone. I learned that she does it often, and she often sends him to get her food leaving her alone in there. I was informed that she puts her arriving and leaving times. In the computer falsely for her visits. See attached.

I worked for cititrends. I'm sure most rules are the same. I know many who still for the company. The DM has a love interest, that she uses to pick penny items, and to clean windows. I was told by a baker employee that she would also have this guy come in and help clean her back rooms in 2017, she stopped that, but she would let damages pile up, and pad the bottom of boxes with good merchandise and put penny stuff on top. This is why you don't often see her take out damages after they are done. Her and her love interest attend the same church they use s a none profit. This Guy drives a black mustang.

This woman is on the phone so much, the store employees know almost everything about her.

She has been known to not follow FMLA rules, by deliberately not posting job postings but interviewing for SM positions while Store Managers were on leaves, her boss gives her permission to operate like this. She replaced the Staring manger twice with these methods.

She holds merchandise in stores. It's in this company best interest to review cctv on not just employees but DM's too, check in and out times of store visits, interview employees concerning this DM and her mate, hold their DM to the same standards as employees. She

Citi Trends poor service

I went in the store after work which I do all the time. But this day I was looking for my nephew something for his birthday and they always have little cheap toys. Me and my mother walked in and not five seconds later a worker told us to leave our bags at the front but, we didn't have bags we only have our purses..We told her this and she was rude and said that our purses wasn't allowed. Then we just proceeded to continue to walk away because we was like we are not leaving our personal belongings out of our sight then she said okay well that on y'all if y'all steal. Very rude implying that we steal. That day I was to upset to buy anything so we left. So I went in the next day because I thought maybe she was having a bad day. So today me and my friend went in again to buy some for my nephew because his party was the next day. Which we were in there for like 10 mins looking at toys and baby clothes. And a store worker comes up and ask me did I need a buggy . Which out of all my years working there no one has ever asked that. Then workers kept walking by in my vicinity which I ignored. But then as we went to the front we see police officers coming in and they had their eyes fixed on my and my friend. So I'm real nosey so I was like oooo let me see who's stealing but every time I looked at the office and the store working they were looking at me and my friend . When we finished checking out. As soon as we walked out through the doors the officers came out . So I beloved they we called because the workers assumes we were stealing. So me upset because I spend a lot of money there since I work right next for literally to it went back in to tell the manger. Did they call the police on us thinking we were stealing. And I told her she knows me from coming in there since I was young that's really upsetting that I had two bad experiences there back to back. It's crazy how they just victimize people assuming that their stealing. It's very uncomfortable and some new training needs to be done. I shouldn't be treated that way when I'm spending my hard earn money there.

Citi Trends wrongful termination

I was disrespected and threaten by a fellow employee and it was told to Management and there was no results from that.To top it off I was terminated for supposely giving away items to a customer I don't and the film that was shown to me was not showing the voids or the entry of the customer entering the store no receipts of the transaction and the female that took part of the shrinkage from( SAS ) store is still working there .I am contacting this office before I go any further with this complaint. The guys that terminated me was the District Manger and Loss Prevention with the false aligations

Citi Trends employees under the influence

All the managers and employees at Pass Road, Gulfport, MS. 434 go out to take the trash out i was driving around back and smelled marijuana and if u dont test them on the site they will get urine before getting to the location to take the urine test at. Louis aware of it they his slaves thats why he dont check into it. He need to be tested as well. Ive sold Ms Davis some before: while she was on her lunch. Jones smoke and gets sloppy she gonna let her insulin be her excuse but we all know that is a big lie they steal time investigate check into it u will see .

Citi Trends clothes

That have clothes connected that missing pieces to the clothes. And the manager of the store her name Erica have a nasty attitude. She don't have good customer service. This is store number 119 in Columbia sc. they have clothes and shoes all
Over the floor. The lady at the cash register have to scream in the store just to get the manager attention.

I do not like way my kid was treated on preston hwy in Louisville ky the black male my daughter ask him n girl bye dressing room go in n they was to busy hitting n flirting each other do there job n daughter walked in to dressing room n male open door on her and made her get out my child was half undressed then they start laughen n being rude cuz were white racest n i shop there all time just dont bring my kid n it was my bday my daughter was buying me stuff for bday n they yell us told us get out store every month i shop your store cane run n preston n never had i had a employee be so rude to my child they was rude n my kid was half undressed a minor at that n there like tell your friend dont do that i said no that my child not my friend n everyone u would be up set someone start yelling n forceable removes my kid from dressing room half undressed im not poor i own liquor store n everyone them girls n there no i spend 180 to 250 a time and i told them im writen corporate not only did they walk in while child chamgen used force n made fun her n used racial slurs not cool im.going write in media n talk lawyer if u do not fire them employees the customers always right she was ignored wgen she ask guy for help 2 times i even ask him he did not pay attention then he said she crawl under dressen room was not locked my daughter has bad leg she cant crawl under ...she thought u can go in try on she done nothing wrong be treated so badly they tried punk me out n my child n that how they are u let ghetto people run stores u lost my buisness and im going seek council n go news unless u fix this not cool reuined my. Citi Trends poor service

Hi I just want you all to know that your employee's that are on the clock now at your Dauphin Island parkway store in Mobile Al. are lazy and useless so I was just in your store trying to purchase an outfit for my son for his Birthday and one of your employee's was out on the floor I asked her if she could get something down for me she told me yes so she went into the break room to put something up came back out looked me in my face and kept walking and went up to the register and started back working so I waited a couple more minutes and went to the front and asked the other employee of she could help me once she was done she told me yes so I waited as I turned to walk back where I was trying to get the outfit from I guess the girl who I originally asked for help must have said something to her because I heard the girl ask her what is shr trying to get so I waited til she cleared her line mine you she only had two people in line neither one of them ever came to help but they both kept looking to the back of the store where I was so I just walked out and even as I walked out they both looked at me but never acknowledged me period .

Citi Trends layaway plan

I went to you store in buffalo new York on Walden ave. I gave the representative my layaway slip and she then asked my name and phone number at the store. I was paying with my debit card and she didn't ask the other people to wait until they were called. Two strangers were standing on both side of my and the cashier asked me to enter my pin # I told her know. I work for a bank and would not enter my pin with strangers standing around me. I asked for a manager he came up to help her find my Layaway and then walked a way. I had to ask her to contact him a second time and then asked for the corporate phone number. The manager explained I had a lot of layaways in the system. They were all old except the one I was paying on he said well I need to delete them handed me a card with your corporate information on it and walk a way again. I will be buying my grand children's clothes from somewhere else from now on. Thanks for having horrible customer service in your store
