Circle K Ice refills

Is it company policy to charge for ice refills? I haven't gotten a definitive answer. The store by my job never charged me for my daily 4cups of ice refills but the store by my house does. The manager at one store says it's free. I bring my own cups, lids and drink carrier. If I go by my house I'm charged and get conflicting stories from different managers.

Desired outcome: I want to know if it's truly company policy to charge for frozen water refills.

I've gotten ice from circle k by the gallon which is equivalent to almost 9 lbs of ice when the ice melts and they even provided me with a white grocery bag to purchase my ice if I forgot mine at home. They have a specific button on their register where they can ring up a gallon of ice which is equivalent to about 8 to 10 xlarge cups, and all of a sudden the manager wants to charge me per cup of ice. I even bring my own cup to refill the bags with so I dont have to pay for a cup each time. And if I dont have a cup I will buy a cup for that purpose, but now the manager is trippin out and I dont know why. I even bring in my little 2 gallon jug to refill for the cost of $2.19 and I dont mind paying that for a bag of ice. You can purchase a 10lb bag at sonic of somewhat the same kind of ice and they charge $3.29 which is the cost of gas I would be spending to drive an extra 10 miles to go purchase their ice. All I'm saying they are suppose to be convenient and all they are doing is inconveniencing me when I am an actual customer when all these other people walk in amd out of their all day not paying for their items. They should respect their paying customers who are willing to do things the right way instead of trying to make up their loss through honest people. And since I live off grid and ice is a main necessity to keep my food cold it serves two purposes for me to survive and maintain my daily water intake, so the cost I pay for it really matters because not only do I live over 15 miles from town, how I spend my money and going to get ice from town daily would be way too expensive so i like to load up on ice every three days or so, since it's a lifestyle requirement in my world.

Circle K I did not get the refund, disrespectful manager.

The date was 03/26/2023 @ 3:56:13 pm. I believe the store number is 4701404. After fulling, drove around to use the air pump. The hose was not working, and I could not get air into the tire. It was a yard tractor trailer I needed to pump up. I went into the store and asked the clerks about a refund. The manager mumbled something that I was not able to fully hear. I latter realized She said that she was not going to stay over just to a two-dollar refund. She went into the office and wrote down her figures. about 30 seconds later She came out made herself a large fountain drink and did not speak to me, did not pay for the drink and walked out the store. got into the care that obviously was there to pick her up and left. I asked the other clerk if it was a yes or a no about the refund. and she said that the manager was checking it out. I informed her that she took off. after the customers cleared out, she confirmed that she indeed left. and I would need to come back and talk to a manager. I am disabled and it is hard for me to walk and stand. I did not catch the times she mentioned because of the pain I was now in. It would cost me more in gas to go back to get the refund and cause me more pain waiting to talk to someone. the situation could have been solved at the time I was there.

Desired outcome: The refund and more importantly an apology from the manager.

Circle K Fleet account customer

I just Started My Fleet account, its not cracked up to what it is advertised as. There is NO Discount at the Pump on Gas. The Fees for the account are numerous and were not disclosed when signing up. The account is a complete Joke and a rip-off with WEX. So, sham on me for not doing my homework better when opening this account.

\Don't want anyone else to be suckered Like I was! So here is your warning and I will post this same warning everywhere hat will listen so hopefully it gets through.

Circle K Managment

I've worked for circle k for almost 16 months now. I started out at one store where I went from full time hours to almost no hours, and every time the assistant manager came in on the morning shift I was sent home. It got so bad that I transferred to another store in town where I'm still at I think anyways. There I've been mistreated so badly it is unreal. I started out with hours than went to nothing to just get them back, but every time my boss gets mad about something I did My hours get cut. She promoted me told me I had earned it just to take it back from me before even proving myself. She gaslights me so I second guess myself all the time. Calls me names under her breath and doesn't think I hear them. I complain to my market manager and nothing is ever done about it. She acuses me of being under the influence right in the middle of shift. I keep telling there is some kind of leak in store or something that is has inflitrated the air system cause I would be fine before work and not soon after I would start feeling sick my tongue would swell up and my body would start aching. I even had customers complain about the smell. Yet on days and grave shift everything is fine. The safety and well being of there employees should be up most important and is not and if they are they only cater to their pets. Before coming to this store and previous store they were dumps dirty and gross. I cleaned both of them up and brought business in to them. All my customers love me and when work cause the store is clean and there is product on the shelves. I have sabatoged since day one. nov 23 2021 to present

Circle K Unappreciated Customer service when I or my dad asked for pizza.

Who ever it was who was running the front of the store, I honestly really don't care who, the person who runs this store can be held accountable for this as well. But I didn't appreciate who me and my father were talked to when we were asking to buy some pizza's from y'all and whoever was behind the register gave a really disgusting attitude and the "I don't give a [censored]" attitude. If this happens again we will make sure one of y'all or both y'all lose your jobs. It was really uncalled for and because of this you can and will lose profit from this! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Desired outcome: An apology would be nice and whoever gave this type of attitude fired for this.

Circle K The rudest cashier ever in history

Night shift black female mid 30’s will not give her name ( i dont blame her)

Since day one she was hired over a year ago i have tolerated her rude behavior but now her pant got to bog for her .she sits on her bun bar stool playing on her cell phone will not look at you

Acts like its killing her to walk 3 feet to get a item behind the counter. Now with self check outs she is even worse

We have tobdo that always per her instruction

Then bag our own items i guess soon we will be unloading your supply trucks

Desired outcome: I want her fired I go into this store 3-4 times a day plus my wife goes into it 1-2 times a day and everyone see her attitude whatever her name is

Circle K Pricing

I ordered a whole pizza and they tried to charge me for each individual slice telling me they can’t charge for a whole pizza. I have phots of the advertisements y’all have.

I went in on Friday02/24/2023 at around 10 am and asked for a whole cheese pizza, the cashier said she had to check with the lady running the food area to see if she was going to make any pizzas that day. Eventually the lady said yes and then the cashier told me that they can’t sell the pizza for $5 and asks if I still want it, I told her that was fine, since the price difference should just be $1.99. As they make the pizza, I browse the store, I see that around their fountain drink area, there are frozen pizzas for sale at $6.99 each. I end up grabbing a bag of chips and head to the counter to pay, the bag of chips was only $1.99, but my total came out to $12.35. I asked her why it was so much, I also took a photo of what she rung up (6 sliced cheese pizza, 3 mxm tx expnd deli(no idea what this is), 1 pepes chile limon), she brought the cook over and they said that they had to charge it as individual slices because they had no other way to ring it up, they then said that they already told me it wasn’t going to be $5, I said I understood, and that I also know the pizzas are normally $6.99. They said they couldn’t ring it up for that amount because they had no way to do it, that’s when I mention the frozen pizza marked for $6.99 and asked why they don’t just scan that one, then they said it was because they’re not selling me the pizza in a box. I didn’t modify anything or ask them to change how they packaged the pizza, regardless, they said that because they’re not going to put it in a box that they had to charge it by slice, they then asked me what I didn’t understand, and I went over the whole conversation again, but decided to just leave and not buy anything at that location because of how rude and shady the interaction was. I did take a picture of what they rung up, I also took a picture of the advertisements. Thankfully there was another location nearby, so I just went there and ordered a pizza, I also spoke to the store manager at that (good) location.

Desired outcome: I’d appreciate a response and some clarification

I was an employee at circle k and worked the overnight shift for them. I had never missed a shift before and when I did try to have someone cover my shift when I was sick I was told no by my manager! Circle K During peak hours, you should have more registers open and have clerks that are a little faster, as everyone was frustrated.

3:45 pm, Mesa, Arizona. Store Location : Corner of Lindsey and University. I had just left our local "Neighborhood Hardware Store". after picking a few items up and stopped at the local Circle K store, to purchase a few more items. I took items to register instructed to go to. I used the same card at Circle k as I had at the hardware store. The Lady behind the register told me, your card has been declined. She said to try again in which I did and once again she told me to try it again and once again it declined. However, I noticed the register machine did not give the option to "run as credit". In the meantime, the Lady working the register asked this other little gal to come and look at machine. The reply she got was."if it doesn't work on the second time. It won't work on the third". When I first entered the store, there were approximately ten customers which soon became twenty, then upwards of Thirty Customers. I was then asked to step to the side, and they would help me soon. After 15 to 20 minutes, of waiting I decided my best option was to leave as I was starting to have pain and weakness. I have Stage four, Terminal bone marrow cancer. I just couldn't stand there much longer. All that time spent trying to get my card to work and being put aside to wait more, the little lady never did come down to help anyone. As I left, she turned on the ladder and looked at me. I said to her, "It's okay, there is another store just up the road", thanked her and left. All in all, there were no transactions on card at the store by me.

I paid $40 to fill my car up on Tuesday, Jan. 31st at the Circle K Store #2742636 on Pump 1. I had plans on traveling to Louisiana Saturday, Feb. 4th to attend my uncle's funeral service. Circle K Ice

I go to circle k daily to get ice I usually bring 6 cups with me and get 2 new ones every day the circle k by my house doesn't have ice because the machine is down so I went to another store way across town and was told I have to pay for ice even if I bring my own cups that I've already bought I've been told many times that is against policy I'm confused about why I have to pay 7 dollars for ice when I paid for my cups the day before this is ridiculous I've thought about buying an ice machine but it's so expensive

Circle K Nasty attitude disrespectful and the over all bathrooms and how they are cleaned

These employees are a joke, and so is the manager. Rude [censored], nasty attitude and very simple minded. As well as the employees rude disrespectful and I couldn't tell one that does get high there. But since there is no drug test apron hiring, I guess I expected different. Boy was I wrong. I intend to co. Aim about this store everyday until something is done

Circle K Customer service false report

1/1/2022 Mr. gamble was assaulted at circle k at 3200 South high Street by two white males a clerk by the name of Kimberly Adams call 911 about a suspect open up chips, fighting with customer’s, and showing his genital area’s. 1/1/2022 I was assaulted and jumped by two white males inside of a gas station at 3200 South high Street around 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Please be advised that prior to this incident I have been out at a social club for New year's then left there and had nowhere to go for 4 hours and the cold and bad weather from being homeless but resign at van Buren emergency shelter. I was out doing things pertaining to my music. That ordeal never happened, so I was stranded. During these hours I felt as if I was being followed. Upon entering this circle k I walked over to this candy rack to observe some items, while in the same since trying to figure out my next move on finding a ride to get back to the shelter or wait for the bus. This particular night it was snowing raining and Hailing with the high wind gusts as I stood there soak soggy and with soggy clothes while warming up in the circle k I attempted to keep my clothes from sticking to my back. I went in and out of sleep daydreaming and back to reality because of incohertness’ at this time to a point the store clerk asked me to leave. As it processes I regain my composure and walked up to the counter turned around and got on my hands and knees and a praying position as if Muslims pray and balled up with my head on the floor eyes closed. I stayed like this for a few minutes until I heard strangers telling me she said leave and aggressive manner. As I stayed in my position I felt someone shoved me over at which I jumped up to confront this person I realized it was two people at which I felt threatened and went into defense mode. This flight lasted maybe two or three rounds all three times I went to the door to catch my breath fearing to go outside by this moment, there are cameras all throughout this circle k at the front register and where I was positioned, even where I stood before being asked to leave. In the midst of the second round of fighting for my life I remember a backpack I had on my bearing my belongings and it spilled on to the floor as this happened one of the men attempts to pick up something from what spilled off of my body at the end of this ordeal one of the men pulled the pen out of a fire extinguisher and spray me down as which I finally stepped out the station. As I stepped out the doors the two men pursued me one walk to his car and threatened to be going to get a gun there were cameras outside at the gas pump for an at court even more position in the front of the entrance. The man reaches his car pulled out a tool that becomes even more of my worries and to come back towards the door entrance where I was standing as I moved out of the way in the midst of this Police officers came out that morning pulled up got out the car ask me was this about me, I said yes with a nod while the other two men went back into the store.

After everything that happened I was taken to the Mary Havens engagement center without even being asked to make a statement or property returned, I was told that I was going to jail but then later released to the engagement center. Officer Sean Evans and Ryder Musser were on the scene that night after arriving at circle k these officers make contact with Mr. gamble during this investigation. During the initial contact, officer Evans asked Mr. gamble was this about him, he said yes. Officer Musser stayed together with Mr. gamble until further notice.

Officer Evan come back out the store and tell Mr. gamble he’s under arrest for indecent exposure they detained Mr. gamble, Mr. Evans go back into the store come back outside shakes gamble down again but this time was in Mr. Gamble underwear drawers from the back bending Mr. Gamble over continuing to search in his drawers and his buttocks area. After finding nothing, officer Evans place Mr. gamble back in the car, Mr. Evans went back into the store then came back out and said we’re not taking you to jail, we are going to write you a citation. After this investigation, they packed Mr. gamble up with none of his belonging and took him to the Mary haven’s engagement center. Where Mr. gamble blow zeros, is where he was denied for not being intoxicated. On 6/15/2022 a release hearing was conducted. But before this official hearing Mr. gamble wrote a complaint to Columbus division of police about 12/4/21 and 1/1/22 also grievance about Mr. Gordon’s behavior and ineffectiveness of helping him into reentry back into society safely. Doing this release hearing, two women were present to sit in and view this hearing along with Ohio public defender Erica Young and a Miss Quinn as the hearing officer of this hearing. For State parole authority, Mr. Raymond Gordon. His witness Mr. Sean Evans and Rider Musser both Columbus police officers, no Kimberly Adams. Evidence relied on was 1/1/22 police report. No "CCTV’s” body cams or victims. Mr gamble testified on his own behalf as Miss Young and Mr Gordon lead questioning

Desired outcome: Property replaced and cctv's secured from 1/1/22

Circle K Discrimination

My name is Cindy Tran and I have a complaint on why I am being discriminated against your store. I have 3 different incidents with time and date stamped for this. This was also addressed to the store manager on each occassion and it was addressed to the employee there but yet it keeps on happening again and again. If this employee is not terminated, I am looking into an attorney to sue Circle K.

Circle K a rude employee, an older black lady

I am complaining about a rude employee at your store in Belleville Illinois on the north belt west. I came into the store to purchase gas, play the lottery, and cash in on a $25 ticket. I was the only customer in the store at the time, besides her and a new manager. It was around 11;40 am on December 20th, 2022. As soon as she saw me standing there she got an attitude instantly, so she begin to fidget around at the cigarettes and other stuff behind the counter, she finally snatched her receipt out of the calculator or cash register where she was standing, then she threw it at the liquor behind the counter. Then she walked up there with a nasty attitude, and reached my ticket out to her, she grabbed it and slide it right back to me, and said how much I said how much what now I'm getting angry because I had stood there patiently while she was figgiting. So I told her first of all don't know what your problem is. We got into a consultation for over five to ten minutes, and other customers were in the store by now. she kept telling them to get in front of me, and I told her that I wasn't going to move. She said she was gonna call the police I told her to call, this way I could file my report. was so mad, a guy in the store told me I should leave after the new manager lady took care of my needs. please contact me

Desired outcome: I'll like an apology, and she needs to be fired, she has no customer skills for that kind of work.
