Cinemark need a refund

I was just at the Cinemark in Palmdale mall and bought 2 adult tickets and 1 child ticket for child's play and purchase a large drink large popcorn and a cheese pizza and when entering the movie we were told no kids were allowed after 6 pm. They way they manager approach us was very disappointing told us that we can go but my child couldn't I was confused on my he would say that as if they had a daycare or something to help us with the situation on top of that we asked for a full refund and were told no we left with no movie and no refund I'm confused on why they would let us purchase a children's ticket then tell us we can take him in.

Cinemark movie club

I previously enrolled in the movie club on 05/12/18 and cancelled 11/24/18 eff 12/12/18. The email stated I had 6 months to use any unused credits. I had 5 movie tickets left. When I tried to redeem today it would not allow me to, I called customer service and spoke to Sup Travis who stated that I had 180 days to use the credit, however the email says 6 months which I thought til the end of June however he stated til Jun 12th, today is June 16th. I asked him since its only 4 days would I be able to at-least redeem those 5 or even rejoin and have them back credited and he stated no. I can't believe that for 4 days I am out of of over $45. I asked for the contact information for the CEO and he stated he did not have that information and even then, it would not be solved. I am reaching out today because the email should have specifically noted 6/12/19. Since it did not, this should be addressed.

Cinemark long lines at concession and rude employee hollers after me

Went in to see a movie on Tuesday night. You have all these assistant managers standing around talking and you have long lines of customers worst than the grocery stores. So i ho over to the bar and ask for manager directed to sn assistant who had just opened up a 3rd line card only and you have at least 3 more that can move us out quickly. I come back to same young man now theres an assistant standing there I inquire why you have no servers, checkers whatever you call your people . She is looking at me as if I am crazy. Had no solution wasn't cared about making this situation better. So I said never mind I will write a letter. As I walked off the guy behind the bar hollered at me cinemark.com . You have at least 12 or more people waiting in each line. Unacceptable and disgraceful. As much money as you people make and charge at concession. That day I bought None. Thank please evaluat.

Cinemark discrimination as a busy customer.

Hi, i am a former cinnmark coustomer. I am a former UPenn student who decided to stay at Rutgers University and a U Penn security former officer. I used to work with Spectuguard on Penns campus along time ago. I am about to dive and start head into a busy masters degree program, while renovating a 3 story property into 4 student office campus housing. So i never really get a break because i am so busy. I went to the bank at 10 :39 am to deposit $160. Then i decided hey let me check out Megan Goods new movie intruder. When i went end the movie threater was completely empty. I was the only entire person in the movie. The time was 11:42. The film started at 10:45 am. My ticket was for 1:45. However, after seeing the movie was empty and realizing i have contractors coming to my house to start rwnovations at 3 pm. I d3cided to go in early plus no one was there but me. After seeing a crazy great cool film i really enjoyed. I wanted to now see the 20 mins i missed in the beginning. So, i ask to speak to the manager. His name was Jesse Hagan. I repeatedly apologize. I told him i went into the movie early at the last min in the middle of the film because i was a liitle worried about missing my contract appt at my house. I was not loud, abusive, mean, disrespectful, agruging, nor did i cuz him out. He not only would not allow me to buy another ticket which, i repeatedly ask to do. Just to catch the 20 mins i missed. He said no and threw me out. But also forced me to take a refund to punish me for going in to early. The police took my report but he refuse to give me the cooperate office no. Again i was the only person there! This was silly on his part. He willfully loss money for the coming. The police ask him nicely to let me in and he so no! Author took my ticket, kenya was the cashier and troy was the other manager. My phone is [protected].

Cinemark ticket for babies, customer service needs improvement asap

My family and I went to the Cinemark Harlingen TX and as soon as we were getting our tickets the boy checking tickets told us we had to get out because we had a stroller and if we were going to stay we had to pay for my babies too. My twins are 9 mths old, they were asleep in their carseat! There is no sign that babies have to pay or that car seats are not allowed. If I would have taken my babies out of carseat they would have started crying and then someone would have told me to leave because we are disturbing! I spoke to the manager and she said what movie are you going to watch well we were going to watch Breakthrough oh I thought maybe the Avengers. I can waive the fee for the babies! WHAT?! I asked her where does it say that carseats or children less than 1 are to pay for a ticket?! She said that each Cinemark manager can make their "rules" and discreetly waive them as well. Wow! We have been going to Cinemark for years and I've seen strollers and carseats inside the theaters. So why were we target?! I think Cinemark needs to make some regulation changes and maybe even some manager changes. So disappointed.

Cinemark food/concession stand/cleanliness

On april 27, 2019 my husband and I went to see the box office hit, avengers: endgame.

I'm a movie club member. When we went to the concession stand to buy our drinks and popcorn we couldn't tell how clean the pop machine spouts were nor if the workers were washing the popcorn machine properly between batches.

As well if they were following the hand washing procedures.

This has been at least the third or fourth time that we've had to run to the bathroom a day after seeing the movie at tinseltown.
Also, i've been sick since yesterday when I started needing to use the bathroom frequently.
What can cinemark/tinseltown do for my husband and I in order to have a great time going to the movies and enjoy eating popcorn?

Cinemark interview for usher I am disabled

I interviewed last month for the usher position around six o'clock p.m. indicated I was disabled I do have experience with job when I left it was a denied email that was sent to me about the job that I had no experience they also took my application off line I put down weekends and holidays a friend a mine just does a day a week there. There was a young and hispanic man who interviewed they looked disturbed and arrogant. I usually watch movies there I won't b returning that would've been a good job for me on the weekends and holidays they took my application off. I also live on Dyer my self. Cinemark being treated badly while trying to purchase a small popcorn

The date this happened on was april 13, 2019 at approximately 10:45 pm. the guy at the popcorn stand was a tall black male with braids. All i wanted was to get a small popcorn and when the first guy ( he was a little heavy set ) he looked like he was going to help me and then he walked away. so i thought that the other guy with the braids who either get the guy to finish helping me or help me himself. he acted like i was burdening him and he clearly did not want to help me. the only person that was nice to me was the cashier guy. My desired resolution would be to have a free ticket to go to the movies or to to just refund me for my popcorn purchase.

Cinemark cinemark/ managers

I love working at movie theater and working at cinemark for long time of my past years of working at cinemark in Ohio. I did my job I wanted to work and stuff I was most hard worker there and most was teenagers there didnt want to do [censored]. But I know every place as there faves. And mangers are treated me like [censored] bc I an metal handicap have ADGD
And I got fired for stupit reason and trying get my pay stubs and they dont want send them to me I guess I just sue cinemark .

Cinemark cancelled a movie

On Friday April *5, 2019 I met a friend at Cinemark to watch the 10:40 am showing of Unplanned. When we went to purchase the tickets, the woman said that showing was cancelled. The manager was standing there and she shrugged and said they weren't responsible for the cancellation. We asked if we could have 2 free tickets to another showing, and she said No. My friend and I were inconvenienced as it took some planning for us to see the show together. I'm really pissed off at this place!

Cinemark ticket counter staff's rudeness and misbehaviour

Yesterday was a busy day, I asked the girl to give me 2 tickets of a movie but she didn't listen and engaged on phone I asked her again and again but she busied with another telephonic bookings, and shouted at me saying that can't u see she was working, the quea was also long and the show timing was 3.55 but she didn't care of timing, and after lots of ruin conversation finally I got the answer the show is house full GET OUT

Cinemark privacy policy

My movie club account was hacked on March 6, 2019. I recieved an email stating that the emal attatched to the account was changed and in turn the password, I did neither of these things. After a call to the guest services, I was told they couldn't find the account through my email (obviously) and I was also told to call my bank. After a trip to the bank, I was able to stop the recurring payments that were taken out monthly through my linked debit card. When I returned home, I out of curiousity checked my two linked giftcards, they were both lower than the original unused $20. I called again, and recieved no assistance, I also emailed and was told to "make a new account." I am appaled at the lack of concern for their customers privacy.

Cinemark concession employees and services

Hello,
I purchased tickets just fine, and then got in a very long line and waited to buy concessions. I had 2 concessions gift cards that each stated "1 free junior popcorn and 1 small soft drink". After patiently waiting in line I finally got up to the cashier. I gave the cashier my gift cards and asked for 1 coke and 1 water. She responded "I can't give you a water, I can only give you a soda." I looked at the prices on the board, and I responded with "a small soda costs $4.25 and a bottled water only costs $4.20, so I'm actually saving you $0.05 by getting a bottled water instead of a soda." She replied "It doesn't matter, you can only get a soda." I was confused, so I asked "if it's less money, why can't I have a water?" She rolled her eyes, sighed, and yelled down the row for her manager to come over. I explained the situation to the manager, and again explained that I'm asking for an item of lesser value than the gift card. He told me that they can't give me a water because "there's no button on the cash register for that." At this point my movie was starting, and I was very frustrated, so I decided to just get the soda and buy the water extra. I was extremely displeased by this interaction, and was treated poorly for just trying to get water instead of soda.

Cinemark i'm complaining about an issue that happened to me when I was working at cinemark

The cinemark that I worked for I always got the job right I always was on task was a fast lerner and I never got introoble or write up but today a new manager that's use to be an employee went to the gm and wrote me for termination and that is because I was siting in the break room charging my phone about to clock back in and I stayed for at least 8 minutes because I had to charge my phone because it was dead and I needed it on so my dad knows when to get me and she came looking for me saying I already clocked in and I was suppose to be on the floor and I said I understood and I apologized and when on to finish my job and later to ight she callled me in to go in the offince and the general manager was there and she told me she was going to terminate me she did not give me a warning or wrote me up she just fired me on the spot and I never did anything wrong I always was a hard worker and earlier that day that same manager saw me sitting in the theatres when I was waiting for the movie to end because I was ushering and I only sat down for 1 min because I injured my whole leg and thigh from playing softball and when I stand up too long I get a very sharp pain and sometimes I walk it off but since i've been working everyday with a 8-10hour shift and I still haven't gotten a day off my leg was getting in pain badly so I only sat down for a minute and she saw me getting up and decided to tell the general manager and wrote me up for termination so I think that's not right and I deeply need to file a complaint because she said I couldnt have a warning and that I have to leave immediately

Cinemark poor service by theater sr. manager, mr. brown and no response from area manager, mr. whitehead. cenimark 16 grand prairie, tx.

Here is my email to the area manager sent on 12/23/18. I have yet to receive a response. Thanks for your attention:

I'm very sorry to bother you Mr. Whitehead, but I felt compelled to express my feelings about how rudely and how poorly my wife and I were treated by Mr. Brown on a recent visit to Cinemark 16 (Grand Prairie on 12/23/2018). Rushing to finish our meals at a nearby restaurant, my wife took a small to-go-bag with a small portion of her dinner that she was unable to finish timely. She was unaware of your policy regarding bringing any non-Cinemark purchases into the theater when she forgot and entered the building with her small to-go-bag. We first stood in line for 2 minutes to purchase other items from the concession stand without notice of this policy. Immediately upon approaching the ticketing stand, Mr. Brown abruptly and loudly approached us as follows (and I Quote): "Uh, what's in the bag ma'am" No you can not bring that into the theater! You have the following choices, eat it in the lobby area or return to your car and eat!" Being loudly embarrassed in front of the entire lobby and all who where in the line behind us, we simply returned to our vehicle, allowed my wife to finish her food and returned to the ticketing stand without further incident. Following, our movie I asked if I could speak with Mr. Brown. I informed him that I was also a Manager who worked in customer service. I explained that I was a loyal frequent attendee at the theater attending for most new releases. I also explained how disappointed and embarrassed we were with how Mr. Brown handled the situation. I explained that we had no problem with the policy and offered some feedback regarding how rudely we felt that he treated us. I also reminded Mr. Brown that he never once apologized for the misunderstanding and the inconvenience, even if it resulted from my wife not knowing this policy. Mr Brown laughed at my suggestion of softening his approach and handling of our situation and was very sarcastic in his responses. Realizing that he clearly did not care about our experience, I have decided to reach out to you and to the Better Business Bureau. Lastly I will be sending a formal complaint to Cinemark Head Quarters. I will await your response and hope to hear from you soon.

Cinemark service

Good evening my name is Patricia Montenegro and the reason for my complaint is due to Managers customer service. On December 14th my family and I decided that we wanted to watch a funny movie so we decided to go to the Cinemark Theater that is located at 5412 San Bernardo in Laredo, Texas. With that said I sent my 18 year old daughter to purchase the Tickets at 6:59 PM while I helped my son bring down our disabled 18 year old daughter. Once we were ready to enter the Theater I decided to go to the Ticket Window to speak to the young lady that had sold my daughter the tickets to speak to her in reference to my 1 month old granddaughter. I proceed to tell her that I had purchased an extra ticket for my 1 month old Granddaughter due to the fact that I was taking in a carrier.

She immediately told me that no carriers were allowed like it stated on their window and that no one under the age of 6 years old was allowed in any Rated R theater. I mentioned to her that if that was the issue that I would like for her to refund me my money and she Immediately told me that there was NO REFUNDS ON RATED R MOVIE TICKETS. She continued to state that was a new policy and that she was not able to give a refund because it stated on the back of the ticket.

I read the ticket and it does not state anywhere about Rated R movie refunds. With that said I asked her than if your not able to Refund me the money that by all means please may you exchange them tickets for a PG13 Movie or any other Movie that were able to watch as a Family and she immediately told me NO.

I requested to speak to a Manager and she Sarcastically told me that I was speaking with the manager and that her name was SUSANA GINEZ and that NO she wasn't going to give me a refund nor exchange the tickets.

So not only was this young lady uncooperative but very Rude as well. She had no Customer or People Skills what so ever. I kept calm and asked for the last time that I wanted to speak to someone else besides her and she just didn't work with me so I decided to send my daughter with her 1 month old baby back to the house to wait for us 4 decided to proceed in to watch the movie. Not only did this person ruin our Movie night with the Family but it was quite unsettling to see how she handled the situation with a smirk on her face.

I would like to state that we have been going to this Theater for the past 16 years and never did Ii have an encounter or a problem like I had this time. We go to the Dollar Movies on Fridays twice a month and were always a party of 6 people and spend a total of $70.00 to $80.00 dollars every time we go with Tickets and Concession food . But this night I was so upset that I decided not to purchase anything and just go straight to Theater room. It is not the money that I am upset but the Actions of this person and how she handled the situation that has me upset.

I as an Owner of a business am very aware of what a Manager or Owner can do or not do but one thing I will tell you is that were supposed to be there to handle situation in amicable manner and make our Customers feel comfortable so they can continue to come back. Susana Ginez didn't do that on the Contrary she embarrassed me in front of my family and other customers and Sarcastically smirked at me which made me feel like I was not going to get anywhere with her.

I hope that this matter is brought to her attention and that she be sent to Customer Service classes so she can improve on her Customer Skills and get trained on Customer Service and interaction and get Customer experience training.

Cinemark movie

Hello my son and my niece and I viewd 'the hate you give " on saturday 10/20/18evening, before the rain storm. The movie cut off and we had to wait 10 minutes before it restarted from the beginning.. It was already late so we were not able to stay to re watch the whole movie again. I feel we did not get our moneys worth, because we never got to fully finish the movie. I would like some complimentary passes or credit or something to compensate for this mishap. Thank you. Kiana jackson

Cinemark cinemark 12 in cypress, tx

I only went to this location due to time restraints. Even though It is only 8 minutes from my house, I avoid this location because It has been nothing but horrible experiences. I usually drive to the Katy location which is always perfect, even though it's 30 minutes away. And on Friday, it happened yet again. I went to the 12:15 showing of Bad times at El Royal. The service is always terrible. At 1:00 the movie still hadn't started and the lights on. Several times someone would come in and say only 10 more minutes. The young girl who obviously didn't feel comfortable coming back in with the same story, finally went back and got a manager to tell us 20 more minutes. Finally a different manager came in and told us they were cancelling the showing. This was the last time I will give this location a chance. I will make the drive Cinemark 19 in Katy. This the worst ran Cinemarks I have ever experienced.

Cinemark not about product and services

I am a customer and at the same time a parent. Cinemark management in San Bruno is not treating the staff (most especially the working students) the right way. Just because they chose to have an education and chose to work at the same time to provide themselves, Cinemark making harsh moves to these employees but not giving them enough hours to work for a reason because their schedules in school. And secondly, staff asking the management to change their schedule to accomodate their school schedules, Cinemark management is saying NO!? These are not right. These working students works for this company are already not getting enough per hr which is $11.xx for a start and these are how they are being treated. My son is asking them to change his schedule so he can go to school, they said no.

Cinemark asked to leave theater

We had purchased our tickets on [protected] for showing on [protected] for night school at 8:30. The guy has had scanned our confirmation bar code, gave us our physical copy and we went to the theater. My boyfriend has lost the physical copy and about 15 minutes into the movie we were asked to show our copy of tickets since we were in someone's seats. They took my boyfriends phone for copy of the confirmation barcode and confirmation email and when they came back we were asked to leave since our tickets had been refunded. We never asked for a refund and have never had this issue. We've lost tickets before and never came across this. We've been loyal customers but after being asked to leave we won't be returning. The manager didn't even bother looking at the security footage. The mistake was on their end and as paying customers, we don't appreciate being asked to leave when we did nothing wrong.
