After 2 years of going back and forth with Chrome Salon directly, I am finally starting to write complaints to protect other consumers. Roughly 2 years ago, while I was getting my hair cut and styled and chrome, the stylist recommended hair extensions to me. I thought about it then returned to meet Rudy for color matching. At the color matching appointment, Rudy said, "I'm going to a hair show in NY this weekend, so if you would like to give me $300 in cash I will be able to get you a discount on the extensions." At the time, this seemed reasonable. I have Rudy $300 cash. He took the cash along with my name and I never saw the $ or the hair extensions. Initially, I was told they didn't have the correct color at the convention in NY, so the extensions were bein ordered. Then, months later I was told the extensions would be in the next week and I could make an appointment; however, I was in the process of moving so I requested either the extensions or a check be mailed to Delaware. Even after 2 years of phone calls, neither happened. They just took my money and most likely used the extensions on another client. I was lied to over and over again by this salon, so I would advise other consumers to avoid this establishment all together!
I'm familiar with Chrome. Rudy is the owner of the salon.
It sounds like your claim is against the stylist - not the salon.
