Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority toll tag fees

I ended up getting charged a toll fee on 12/26/2018 - $2.19. First I have a txtag and i'm wondering why I got charged this toll fee instead of having them take it out of my txtag account. Secondly, then I got charged a late fee for not getting this bill in time, and now it's $16.19 that I have to pay. I never should have gotten charged since I already have plenty of money in my txtag account. Secondly, then you want to throw a late fee on there for a bill that I didn't receive until it was too late! I am trying to call to speak with a customer service representative and i've been waiting for 45mins on the phone and still haven't gotten ahold of a customer service rep. Earlier I called and left a callback number and they called me back 3 hours later! I wasn't available to answer my phone because at that point, I was back at work! This is ridiculous! Why are wait times on the phone over an hour while waiting & 3+ hours for callbacks! I would like to get this resolved if I can get ahold of someone who can assist me! This is the worst customer service! Terrible!

Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority never received inv. 100001050276

Dear Sirs,

I have received a PAST DUE invoice from the above agency. It is INV. 100001050276 for Vehicle License Plate BV5P713. It is my son's Aaron Burns vehicle and I am more than willing to pay for the Toll but we NEVER received this bill when it was $4.31 for the toll. For the first time, I am receiving this invoice and now you are charging $14.00 for late fees! I should not have to pay this late fee when I have never received the original toll bill! I am more than willing to pay the $4.31.

Best,

Elizabeth Avellan

Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority toll fees

In the last few months, I have received two bills for charges when the toll booth missed my TxTag. These have come to me several months after the fact and they are charging me late fees. I never received the original bills. I called their customer service and they
blame the postal service. But this is the second time. It cannot be a coincidence that the postal service loses the original bill twice. I have no problems with any other bills or correspondence to my address. This is unethical behavior. I wish something could be done to stop these companies.

Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority billing

I have received multiple bills for charges when the toll booth missed my TxTag. These have come to me 3 to 4 months after the fact charging me large late fees. They are trying to blame the postal service but I have no problems with any other bills. They have treated me like I am a criminal until I contacted my state congressman. They were very mice after this, but they told me they resent the bill and I did not receive it. They told me they dropped the bill to just the charges and to allow 24 to 48 hours for it to be reflected online. I week later it has not been changed. They are completely concomitant or are flat out lying to me. I plan on filing a complaint with the FTC this coming week if they do not make an effort to fix the billing issue. If that does not work I will be looking for an attorney for a class action suit against these rip off artiest.

I’m in the middle of this as well right now. It’s tragic how greedy big companies can be.
Post here if anyone gets a class action lawsuit going.

Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority texas toll companies greed and unreasonable late fees

In 2016, when I renewed my registration I was forced to purchase new license plates. This culminated in me getting charged over $300 in late fees with Texas Toll companies for what was initially a few dollars in charges, because I did not update my license plate number in the TxToll website where I had set up auto payment. I have a sticker on my windshield with a bar code, the make and model of my car was the same and I had payment mechanisms set up so that they had access to compensation for me using the tolls; however, none of this was adequate enough for the toll companies to connect my vehicle to my account nor get payment such that it did not result in me being charged unreasonable late fees for an honest mistake. The Texas Toll companies are engaging in shady business tactics to take advantage of consumers for any mistake that is made and this is shameful and should be illegal. I demand that a class action lawsuit be established as I want my money back plus reasonable compensation. Texas toll companies should not be allowed to turn a mole hill into a mountain of money for any reason! I demand fairness and a means for retribution. They said I could not even dispute the charges based on my circumstances.

Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority payments-this is silly

I pay $120/mth typically for tolls in and around austin. 2 weeks ago I just finished negotiating a settlement of fees going back several years due to errors in collection between txtag and ctrma. Today I just recieved another toll bill for $7.55 that should have been paid through txtag where I automatically refill on a credit card. If I had not recently gone through this and opened the mail, it would have happened again. This is silly. If ctrma and txtag can not act in sync then establish payment through both as independent companies which they are.

Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority tolls

Have a TxTag. I am constantly refilling it even when I don't use the toll roads. Both CTRMA and TxTag bill very inconsistently and they will tack on late fees and non payments even when you've never received a bill for the initial toll to begin with. This is a flawed system, a scam and it is hurting tax paying Texans more than it is helping them. Get rid of these thieves.

Same issue here. I am with TxTag for many years and my account gets auto-filled. Still CTRMA charged me with late fees multiple times stating my account with TxTag was not current or the Tag didnt work. I believe they have broken process or may be they just don't care to provide better customer experience. I just had a conversation with representative stating there is no way to fix it currently and they are not looking into any options. We as a consumer have no rights or ways to fix it and need to shut up by paying unnecessary and exorbitant fines. Well, that is bureaucracy at its best.

Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority toll charges

BEWARE of this company. They will rip you off, throw hundreds of dollars of late fees on your account no matter what the situation is. I asked TexTag for a new sticker in February of 2016 and TexTag sent me the wrong sticker in error. This company (Regional Mobile Authority) tried to charge my tolls through TexTag and couldn't, so they started charging me late fees without contacting me. I never received a bill until July 2015 and by then they were charging me over $1000 in late fees on just over $200 in tolls. Every time I've tried to call and resolve the situation, they've mysteriously lost all of the notes on my account, have no record of my credit card being run to take a payment, etc. They are the epitome of 'highway robbery'. I'd love for the local news to look into these guys and destroy them.

May name is Ray Falcon. I just received a bill from MSB one of the toll road vendors for Central Texas Regional Mobile Authority saying I owed $63.16 cents for a toll charge from 08/25/15 with a reference number of EDY786. We don't even remember going through a scanner that day, but they had the picture of the car so I know we did. The toll was $2.16 with...
