Cenex Diesel fuel pump

My name is Rhonda Parac, email [protected]@hotmail.com. I was at your Raynesford, MT gas station this afternoon to get diesel fuel in my pickup. The small nozzle for #2 diesel doesn't work at all. The large nozzle for #2 diesel pump #4 barely works and I believe I got overcharged for the amount of fuel I received. I used my credit card and got what says 14.871 gallons @$4.73/gal for the amount $70.47, and tried again and receipt says 6.566 gallons for $31.12. My gas tank only read 1/4 tank. I had to drive into Great Falls to finish filling my tank at Walmart, my receipt said 22.281 gallons @$4.489/gal for the amount $100.02. So I spent $202.61 in total for 35 gallons of diesel fuel. Your gas station is ripping people off. I would hope to be reimbursed at least 3/4 of the $101.59 that I spent! 9/3/23

Cenex Expired products/customer service

I visited your location in Geneseo, IL today. I approached the extremely rude cashier who checked me out today to inform her that the Sprite and Apple Juice products are expired and I would not be surprised if there are more expired products in the store. I have purchased many drinks from this location in the past and I wish I checked the expiration dates before. She snapped at me and told me "it's the way you just came at me." I wasn't blaming her for the situation but I was visibly upset because it is illegal and completely unacceptable for your business to allow vendors to stock expired items. She told me she can get in trouble for pulling expired items and it's Pepsi's problem. She then bobbed her head at me and asked me very rudely if I purchased anything expired today. I told her I didn't but if I had, it was in the past and I was in a rush so I didn't have time to check. She didn't ask me if I wanted my receipt when checking out, she ripped it off and tossed it. And as I was getting ready to leave, she stated in a very condescending tone "have a PHENOMENAL day" while rolling her eyes and she mumbled something under her breath as I walked out. I have overheard this same woman berate another colleague of hers. It's very disappointing for you guys to have hostile employees as the face of your business. I refuse to be spoken to this way for standing up against something that is highly illegal. Legal action will be taken if I ever feel threatened again by one of your employees or if I continue to see expired products on your shelves.

Cenex Handicapped restroom

This Cenex is located on Hwy 169 East, Bovey/Marble Mn. Hands down the most DISGUSTING bathroom I have ever EVER seen in my life! Not to mention, no accommodations for the handicapped! They'll take our handicap money, just won't provide the restroom. When questioned about thus, I got a "there is a wheel chair bathroom in rapids, you're not far" answer. Then when asked to speak to the manager, the OWNER, YES OWNER, came out and told me to quit [censored]ing, that if I'm handicapped I should have planned out my restroom stops accordingly?!?!?!?!

Can not WAIT to speak with the ADA in Minnesota about this. How rude!

Desired outcome: Normally an apology would be sufficient. Considering the answer I got from the OWNER- I want change and will not stop anything short of it.

Man working the counter is older, heavier set, hair is in a pony tail partially on his head, black rim glasses. Man is covered in dandruff, all greasy and the worst part is his body Oder has stunk up the entire store! Near made it impossible to pay for my fuel, we skipped out on snacks to leave as quickly as possible. Disgusting sales associate!

Desired outcome: Fix him! Make him shower!

Cenex Customer Service

I go to the Cenex gas station in Marshall Minnesota every single morning before I go to work. I work at a school so this morning I grabbed 10 of their plastic spoons for the students project today. Before I did that I looked to see if they sold any plastic wear in boxes. They do not so I did grab 10 of the spoons that were over by the prepared food area. I was done encountered by a lady behind the counter with an attitude. She asked if I grabbed a lot of spoons I said yes she asked how many and I proceeded to tell her 10. She kept up her attitude and said well we will have to charge you for that if you continue to do that. That was my first time doing that and the only time I am going to do that. I told her I come here every single day and get a coffee and something to eat. She continued to say that I did not need the spoons for what I was eating so that they can charge me for the spoons that are free. She did not greet me when I came in the door the only encounter I had with her was when she gave me attitude about grabbing spoons. I have went to this gas station every single morning for the last 16 weeks. I now will refuse to go to this gas station at all because of her service and how she treated me right away in the morning.

Desired outcome: That the lady that works at the cenex in Marshall Minnesota gets talked to and gets retrained on how to do good quality customer service.

Cenex Cashier was so rude I will not be back to another sentence unless I get an apology.

Okay I go there and probably by 50 tanks propane a year she'll never help me get it out I have to get it out myself she gives me the keys I go out there I have to catch it myself I had to bring down the car myself. I have really bad social anxiety I parked close to the building because I needed to get tanks after I filled up and I need to pay for my stuff when I went in there she loudly complained how I parked and had other customers chiming in and yelling at me causing a huge scene even after I apologize to her so after she gave me the keys I got my propane and I left because I felt attacked. This is not okay she needs to realize people have anxiety and you can't just yell out [censored] like that in front of all the customers when it's busy and then they chime in what that does to a person like me. But again I had to fetch my own propane and that's the last time I'll do that I don't know her name she works at the settings in Salem pit stop she always works the morning shift one of two ladies. I shouldn't have to park all the way in the back carry two propane tanks all the way across the lot lot by myself make sure I get the case locked up and then bring her back the key that's not customer service that's not helping the customer it's putting them in danger. I really like that store but I can't go back I'll be filing complaints other places too because it shows me zero these complaints have been resolved

Cenex Customer service

There is a cashier who is always rude to my roommate and I everytime we go in, which is almost everyday since it's close walking distance from my house.

I don't know her name, but she is the only one who is rude. The other day my roommate went in and bought a few items she asked for a bag since she was walking & the clerk just tossed the bag over the counter to her and said nothing. So my roommate bagged her items and left.

We are tired of being treated as if we are a burden to her.

She has no place working in public.

Blonde lady medium build acts as if she's manager, very rude, no public communication skills.

Desired outcome: Change her attitude to customers or fired.

Cenex Hays KS Southside

Your employee Emma was incredibly rude and almost broke my girlfriends ID in half "making sure it was real" after her ID was already scanned. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We both are well over 18 and this experience didn't need to happen. My girlfriend was a customer not a floor mat. I manage a store and NONE of my employees treat customers that way. That's how you lose customers not retain them. This experience was an awful example of customer service and if you don't have valuable customer service at this store why even have one there? I suggest you take a strong look at who you have employed at Southside because this was not okay.

Cenex No toilet paper - had to buy

I went to the Cenex (404 Main St S, Chatfield, Mn) on 5/22/21 and 11 am. I went to use the bathroom and there was no toilet paper or paper towels. I texted my fiancé to tell the worker. He told my fiends they had none. That he was sol. My fiancé aimlessly searched for something in the store while I waited in the bathroom. My fiancé had to buy toilet paper for me to use! The worker was an [censored]. What horrible customer service. I will never stop at a Cenex again. Tried calling the number that is posted on the sign in the bathroom and it did not work. I left the roll of toilet paper for the two other ladies in line.

Desired outcome: Fire that [censored] and get some toilet paper.

Cenex Propane

Last Friday night at apptoximately 7 PM my son had a 100 lb. new propane tank filled at the Cenex at 1705 Broadway in Alexandria, Mn. The worker, Mason could not find a release valve, which they do not have, to release the air. Must have not been trained properly. The tank was hooked up at approximately 8 PM same evening to a wall garage heater. I had been told that the tank would last me half the winter. TUESDAY it was empty and the heater was on 1, and the pilot. We contacted Cenex propane department and they will not do a thing about it. It cost me $75.00 to fill. I will no longer patronize Cenex anywhere. If they are so hard up for a sale that they do not train their people, or stand by their sales there are lotz of home owned businesses that need business.

Cenex just offered 5 lbs. of propane at 70 cents a lb. to replace 100 lb. tank they didn't release the air out of that cost me $75.00 and lasted less then 4 days. To get that 5 lbs. of gas my son has to come from Alexandria to Starbuck, unhook and load up the tank, drive back to Alexandria and then drive back to Starbuck. I don't think so. That is an insult!

Had a new 100 lb. Propane gas tank filled at Cenex in Alexandria, Mn. at approximately 7 pm last Friday night and the worker Mason was not trained properly and did not know how to get the air out of the tank. Suppossidly it was full. Cost $75.00. Got hooked up to a new wall hanging garage heater at 8 pm that same night. Was told tank should last half the winter. It ran on 1 or the piolet from when it was hooked up till Tuesday morning and it was empty. Cenex will not do a thing about it because they have no way of knowing how much propane was put it. I am out $75.00 . Their customer service is poor at the very least!

Cenex Employee

I stoped at your gas station in Osseo, WI And the lady that was working at 1:34 on June second was very rude my friend had dropped a glass bottle on the ground when getting out to pump glass he pick up everything that wasn't under the car then went inside to pay and he was going to move the car to the get the rest of the glass she threw a bucket and then started yelling at us about the glass my friends tried explaining that the glass was under the car and he had to move it to get the rest of the glass but she didn't give him the chance to talk then he went out side to clean the glass then she continued to yell Telling me to help him and making fun of him because he was picking up one peace at a time then another guy that was in the store asked him she had a broom so he could go help him and she told him no this lady was incredibly mean to us

Cenex complaint about the manager

I am a loyal customer of Cenex. Particularly the Zip Trip, Convince Store and Gas station here in Butte Montana. I stopped in the store yesterday morning, as is my routine for cigarettes and gas. The Manager, whom I know began immediately to harass and scream at me in a loud and obnoxious voice. "She", lives in the same Apt. Complex that I do. In fact, the Apt. directly above me.
She chose to air a Personal issue between us in a "Public" Forum, in the Store, in front of several customers. She was extremely loud, and rude to the extent that I am going to seek legal action against her and Cenex.
I'm not only a senior citizen, but a Marine Veteran and a member of the VFW here in Butte, Montana. I will not be screamed at by a unstable, unprofessional, individual in a public place, or private for that matter.
I will make sure that "All" my friends and fellow Marines and Veterans are aware of that Managers actions, and disrespect.
I would think that a Company as Large as Cenex would, at the least, monitor their employees, who deal with the public, on a regular basis.

Cenex gasoline pump

I filled up my tank on November 30th at 6:45 PM (it costed $15.53) and when I got home, I saw a Pending transaction of $76 to the same place (a Cenex that is also a Cubby's convenience store). I'm lead to believe that the Cenex station here in Blair is holding $76 that I absolutely did not spend there. It's 7:30 the next day (December 1st) and that $76 has not come back to the available balance in my VISA. It is quite ridiculous that they can hold that much money for that long and make me very anxious to see it back in my available balance.

Cenex employee

Went to the gas station to get some gas and a Diet Pepsi and there was a note on the door before I got there saying "in the restroom" I waited for 15 minutes and no one showed up. During this time at least 5 other cars pulled up waited and left. Not only is the ridiculous and irresponsible but it's business loss. I do not know the employees name but I will be finding out and pushing for repercussions due to the fact it made my wife late for work. 11/17/2019

Cenex customer service

I was in Herington Kansas today. Stopped into the cenex to grab a snack on the way home. Went in and everyone in there was very polite and helpful. Grabbed my things and checked out. As I walked out the door I here a couple guys talking. And one says things about drugs and buying them and doing them and selling them. I walk past them and noticed a name tag that says Ray Perez. If this person works there I will not be back. Not a very good person standing out front talking about drugs. Hope you address this issue before it gets more out of hand. Thank you.

Cenex the employees are closing the store early so they can get out of there faster and losing business

We went to go in about 5 minutes before midnight when it says on the door they close and the people that were standing in there at the register started shaking their head and saying nope not today it was very disrespectful. They continue to laugh and act like customers are irrelevant we are paying customers that are trying to support for our local businesses

Cenex customer service

To whom it may concern,
I had stopped at Cenex in Auburndale, WI to get gas. The entire time I was there an employee was laughing and pointing at me. I read the employee's name tag and it read Alison. I thought this behavior was very unprofessional and extremely rude. Customer service here needs to change otherwise: I will not be visiting this Cenex location for anything in the future. I highly suggest this employee should be fired.

I agree with everything that is being said about their customer service. I think that they are not training their people properly and because of this their people are going to run their business into the ground. I will no longer patronize Cenex either.

Cenex accidental gas spill

10:30 PM I was at the Cenex in Brookings, South Dakota to fill gas. Regular customer, almost every other day I go here. Student at the college. I started to pump gas into my truck and had an important phone call to make to my family therefore I got into my vehicle while gas was pumping. I then noticed an older gentleman come up to the side of my truck, take the pump out while it was still pumping, and I got out of my truck. When I exited, I noticed that there was gasoline all over the ground. I was about to apologize when the man started to cuss me out about how I shouldn't leave the pump. I apologized but then he grew angry and called me a "f****** d***a** for spilling gas everywhere." I went back into my vehicle to tell my passenger to hold on for one second. I then walked up to the sidewalk where he was smoking a cigarette with gas fumes all over the place. Tried to apologize again and he used more vulgar language to describe his dislike for me. I will not be going back to this station, neither will my 100+ friends who also used to regularly use this gas station. If you have any questions, please call. If nothing is done about this, I will be posting it on social media and getting a bad rap for all Cenex stations, which is the last thing I want to do. [protected]

Cenex cashier/customer service

Today at my stop at the Cenex/Express Mart in Thorp WI, which I visit regularly, I decided to send an official complaint regarding an ongoing problem at this location. As a business owner myself I feel I should pass along the info. As I waited in line for a car wash & to pay for my gas I witnessed the attendant question an employee of a trucking business as to whether or not the check he was writing was any good because last time it bounced. The kid could have died of embarrassment & said he had no idea & was just doing his job. That was definitely handled inappropriately & very rude. I then purchased my wash to find that it was out of order & when I went in to inform her & get a refund I was told she couldn't do that. I feel if you can charge me for an item you should also be able to issue a refund. Besides this two incidents today, the employees overall are continually rude & unfriendly day after day. I stop due to the convenience but I'm tired of the behavior. With the exception of Wendy in the mornings & a young male in the evenings (I can't think of his name) who are great, the rest are terrible customer service reps. This does not help your business.

Cenex rude, dangerous behavior from a clerk

Stopped at a local Cenex to fill up; put my credit card in, inserted the nozzle in the tank, and when I began fueling, the pump began spraying me with gasoline--the hose was unattached from the top of the pump. There was no "out of order" notice of any kind. The gas kept spraying until I pulled the nozzle from my tank. I went into the store to tell the staff--I explained to the girl behind the counter what happened, expecting an apology or for her to ask if I was OK. Instead, I was told in a snotty voice, "Yeah, it did that because it's broken." I suggested a sign might be in order, so customers didn't leave the store covered in gasoline. I left.
This occurred on July 28th at the Cenex store at 1421 Pines Rd. In Spokane Valley, WA, 99206. The clerk was young, heavy set, with straight light brown hair. I would appreciate an apology, at minimum, and although it's not my problem, for the pump to be repaired and for someone to explain to the clerk some basic facts about gasoline safety and customer courtesy. Until these idiots fix that pump, it's a safety hazard.
