Cell C network

In gauteng, De Deur there is a major issue with the network. Every device in my house hold using a cell c device is loosing their connection to the internet, phone calls and text messages can still be made but its as tho weve turned off our mobile data. Also if use the USSD commands for cell c to send me my data settings, it tells me that it will come shortly but I dont receive them. This is an important problem because I have to use my data to upload assignments for college

Cell C roaming

I have called Cell C before I flew overseas to activate my roaming in order to make or receive call overseas. 2 weeks later I still have no connection, have called Cell C many times and they have told me it will be sorted out ASAP. Another week later and many phone calls I still have nothing and needed to make an urgent phone call but cannot. Cell C service is a joke as they cannot sort this simple request out. The ref for Cell C 9070900487. I hope that this will get them to look at the problem as it is clearly they don't care.

Cell C deactivate current number [protected]

On Monday 26 July I was mugged and my cellphone was taken. It did not have the pin lokc password. I did not report it cos I thought its just a phone I can replace it, all my information is on my phone these thughs can do anything as they have tried to access my fnb online bankingg
I tried the branch in Boulders to ask for a sim swap i failed with 1 information
then I call the customer service to deactivate my number I was still not authenticated
Had I anticipated the incident I would have saved the data, last date I topped up etc for such questions.
These thugs can get away with anything yet the rightfull owner went through trauma and the energy to cancel bank cards etc.
The service is really not fair at all i am not asking for much just a security
Please assist. THe number I want to deactivate is [protected]

Cell C operators calling to inform about specials.

Opperators are calling me to inform me of specials an discounts on my accounts with Cell C. When you tell them that you do not want to get the special or such, they just drop the call. I find it very rude and unmannered to drop the call while someone is still busy talking. What sould a persone think of a company that has people employed that is as rude as that. I would consider to cancel my contract with such company rather. Unfortunately I could not get the name of this particular operator, but its not the first time this happened.

Cell C canceling my contract

I will never open a new contract with Cell C again. It was the worst experience I have ever had. They are so kind and helpful when you open an account. But when you cancel your contract, there are 10 000 stories and no one are able to assist you.

I have canceled my contract 0745685080 on 28 April 2019. Today is the 2nd of August and IT IS STILL NOT SORTED... Last night they deducted Again money from my account after 2months of cancellation. I hate the fact to say that I was a loyal client for 11years. This morning I phoned and after 1hour and 16min, I still don't have a conclusion. From the one consultant transfer me to the other one and so forth. So It cost me to go in store Klerksdorp. And still They deduct money from my account after I have canceled my contract... At the beginning of May I also phoned many times for a settlement form.. Well guess what, I still don't have it. On their side they can see on the comments that I did cancel my contract but still the account were active? So I must still pay after I also made a settlement payment aswell?

I would never ever do business with cell c again.

Please feel free to phone me.

Cell C recently purchased contract

I TE Elizah ID [protected] recently purchased a contract form CELL C.
The lady that assisted me, Zinhle Hadebe.
I believe all call are recorded.
I ll like your ll to listen to the conversation.
She told me the phone was a dual sim. The phone I received is not a dual sim. However I don't really care about the dual sim.
I requested my old number be Migrated. Zinhle insured me it will be done even sent me an e mail asking for my sisters ID No.
I did exactly what was requested. I contacted the call centre yesterday requesting the Migration I was told Zinhle will call be back however I never received a call back.
I e mailed Zinhle this morning and she called me back and told me that the Migration had be declined.
Now what I fine very intriguing is that I was told it can be done and not that they is a possibility it can't be done.
Then you apologize and say they is nothing you can do, and Zinhle solution is that I transfer my data every month and what about my mins ?...
What kind of service am I really paying for honestly.
24 months of inconvenience in that case I ll like to cancel my contract with CELL C.
I believe I'm within the 7 days.
I will never recommend CELL C to anyone.
Hope to hear from your ll soon, in regards to the cancellation.

Cell C cell c booklet deals

I downloaded the booklet for this month from the cell c website. I saw a laptop deal with is 6 in 1 vasristy deal for R529 and I have a contract due for upgrade so I want to upgrade to that deal. I phoned all the stores in KZN and they say it's been discontinued. How can it be discontinued when I just downloaded it today the 2 August and it's for the month of August. I phoned customer care and upgrades department with no help. I will be contacting the ombudsman about your false advertising. I saw that deal I have the booklet and I want that deal.

Cell C after service/credit clearance

I have settled my account, with an attorney called nudebt management, who works in handling legal matters with cellc contracts, i did receive my paid up letter but however my ITC credit profile still reflects this cellc account, and i want it removed, or some sort of feedback stating it has been done and will be cleared soon,

I HAD great service from cellc head office, but now after asking more help from the same person Im going back to square one, with poor and unprofessional service, i am a technician who has also been serving clients for over 8 years and i know what service means and how to go the extra mile for a client, as we all want they business in time again, Please sort this out,

Cell C give you the run around when you want to cancellation an expired contract

I am having much difficulty cancelling these two contracts. it seems that YOU give the customer a run around from pillar to post if they want to cancell a contract that has rub its course. this is Not acceptable and devious business practice. Cell C debit date

Hi is am very upset about this this is the 4 time this happen.

I have called many time to change the depit date first cell c change my date from the 28 to the 25/26 without comfier with me i only get my salary by the first and the a have cancelled my contract but you guys still want to take money I'm going to stop this depit order at the bank because your system let my name look bad if my account goes in to a -

I have called last week as well to tjek the date was change way the hell will they tell me it is change and then it is not

Cell C cell c contract monthly statement and debit orders.

I have cellphone contract with cell c. You guys you send me monthly statement on format that you know I cant open it I tried all options it doesn't open. You also make two debit orders twice in a month and that is not what I signed for. Your monthly bills are unreasonable we agreed on a certain amount but it seems like I am pay for 1000 contracts. Looking forward to cancel the contract by month end. Poor services I got from cell c is just too much. I tried to call customers center but I did get a help.

Cell C cell center just says no they can't help

Good day

I wanted to send my fiance R30 of airtime. I went on the self service *147# as soon as i choose the option to send i saw the number was incorrect. I canceled and it said error and mmi connection failed. I then checked my balance and the amount of 30 rand was still deducted from my account.

I called cell c and the lady just said there is nothing they can do to help as it was self service. I know i made a mistake but now she said i must call the incorrect number and ask them te send it back! I don't know who in SA in 2019 will do that. But nevertheless i called the number and it doesn't exist. It's a shame that a huge company like cell c can not help their loyal customers. I know its only R30 but still its not fair for this lady to be sarcastic and just ask me to rate her call. I want cell c to give my Airtime back or send it to my fiance.

Cell C data

I sent my son to buy data at sammy Mark's for 2000 rands and the consultant transferred airtime instead of data. When there was no connection from our router I called cell c only to find out that it was airtime that was transferred and not data. I went to the shop and saw the guy who made the mistake. He owned up and promised me that he was going to look around for money and buy me 200G data. Now he is offering me telkom data which of course I don't want.

Cell C unreliable unknown company

I took a contract with a cell c company telephonically but I can remember exactly when but it is over 2 years now, my daughter got robbed and the cellphone was taken upon robbery, I also lost the second sim with my phone, when I wanted to query with cell c they told me those numbers are not in their database yet all along I was recharging using cell c airtime & data, now I paid for over a year for the benefits I am not even getting, now they are still deducting my money from my bank account yet the 2 year contract have long passed, that company name when they debit my bank account is called Invegtu & it is untraceable, I tried to look from my bank if they can trace it but they can't, even now the 2 sim cards are being used and ever since using that phone I was told it belonged to a Person called Olwethu, it was never mine alone, my numbers were as follows:+[protected] &
+[protected] please trace these people so that they can refund my money back since the contract ended a long time ago.

Cell C data package

On 25/07/2019 I recharged my account with data bundle of 6GB + 7GB for R299 using Capitec banking app. The amount of R299 was debited from my bank account but I was credited only 3GB. I called the call center 3 times but was not successful. There was one particular agent named Christina (African) who was very rude and shouting at me and told me to take it up with the bank. The other lady I spoke to was Nokuthula, who promised to get her manager/ team leader to call me back in 30 minutes because they were still looking at the matter. 5 hours later I'm still waiting for the call.

Please help, I'm frustrated.

Cell C missing airtime

I am being robbed of my airtime and cellc refuse to take ownership and do nothing to protect their customers.

When attempting to call any cellc number 084135 for example. You select 3 for customer service and 1 for number and it keeps prompting for a customer select pin which I have never set up. Why is there no option for if I don't know one or if one does not have a pin. Instead I must dummy the system pretend I don't know my number on the I've to get through to the call centre, very frustrating.

How can poor service from agents and management be accepted like this . Failed call backs, long unnecessary hold, rude poor telephone ethicate and Worst of all dropped calls. The list goes on. I will need to take further if I don't get my airtime I paid for.

Cell C bad client service

I recently bought a phone that uses a nano sim card and I'm currently using a micro sim card. I went to a Cell C store in Sasolburg today to do a sim swap in order for me to able to use the number on the new cellphone.
I was assisted by the assistant branch manager (Tshidiso) who the then told me that they wouldn't be able to assist me because my RICA information doesn't appear on the cellphone number in question. He then further stated that due to security reasons there is nothing that they can do to assist me, instead he suggested that I use a new cellphone number.
I called the Cell C customer care to verify if the information provided by the branch was correct and it turns out I was never provided with the correct information. The call center agent told that it is possible to do a sim swap at the branch but I had to do an affidavit or I could buy a sim card that is not RICA registered and perform a sim swap via the Cell C customer care. When I went to the branch with the information that was provided by the call center agent I was still told at the branch that they won't be able to assist me. I have been using this cellphone number for more than 10 years and I had done a sim swap before but never have I thought that I would experience such bad client service at a Cell C branch.

Cell C service delivery / receiving of purchased product / customer service / non-availability of managers

What a way to loose loyal, long standing customers! Not very outstanding service, Cell C.
I ordered the Cell C Sim Only Online Pinnacle 3GB TopUp 1 month deal on 15/07/2019 through my online CellC profile, and received my PayFast confirmation of payment on the 15th. They state it takes 2 days for the Sim to be delivered. Last week I tried to track the status of the sim on day 3, to only find out my order wasn't processed. Cell C logged a call to investigate (why not just send the sim card as I have already paid for it?).
Last week I was promised numerous times after enquiring that someone will call me to discuss delivery. So last week when I called I was told it is being investigated, I put down and phone again and was told it will be dispatched that same day. How come all answers are different?Still waiting, it is now the 22nd July. Two days, hey?
Today I have called probably three times. Once the line was dropped. Oh, and don't forget, on average it takes 3 minutes from dialing their number to actually getting to speak to a human (and not machine prompts). I mean, what do I care about my balances and if I have a pin activated? I need an answer!
Today spoke with probably 7 or 9 agents - no one can actually tell me what the status of the order or sim card delivery is. Can't even find it on their system.
Oh, and don't forget, so today I'm already livid due to the extremely poor customer service and non-product delivery (which by the way, I desperately needed hence the reason for ordering it in the first place) - and each agent I'm talking to wants to go through all the security questions over and over and over and over and... really? The one lady told me that I was just transferred from *Thandeka, but still wanted to go through the 20 questions - oh, and then she added some more question. Fuming by this stage.
So I was told by one agent to be transferred to the online department. So I get to the "online department". I ask - "am I with the online department now?". Which dept? "The online department" Which Department? I almost wanted to say the [protected]@$!% online department but just angrily said "ONLINE department" - Sorry, we don't have such a department. Huh? Why then transfer me to the "online department" in the first place.
At one stage I gave one of the ladies assisting (the one that couldn't find the order on my name) the order number which I got from my CellC online profile. Guess what, this is transparently not a valid order number. Not one they know. ? once again, how?
So, I call again - this time they cannot even find any orders to my name made on the 15th! So by now livid ain't even describing how I feel. Can no one actually help me?!?!?!?! I mean, such a simple question - when will I receive my sim so I don't have to sit at home hoping the card will be delivered?
Oh, and try to get hold of a Manager or Director or anyone in a role of seniority who should be aware of the lack of service on the floor? hahaha! You can't! So how will anyone actually train staff to improve service to retain customers if you are unable to get info on a Manager/Director?
I have also already sent some previous emails asking when I will receive the sim - of course no response. Also wanted to "chat with us" - thought it was a live chat. No, send a message or email. Also no answer to my "chatting".
So do I know when my (already paid for minutes) card will be delivered? Nope.
Has anyone contacted me about this yet? Nope.
And my guess is that Cell C will continue with this rotten service.

Listen, in hind-site I'm very ashamed that I got so angry about this. Why couldn't I just keep calm... to blame my anger on poor service delivery or the fact that my order is non-existent or that I am wasting my time again on trying to get my sim is no excuse. But this ain't no laughing matter either.

I need to know when I will receive my sim card because I cannot sit at home every day for a week now waiting for the courier guy to arrive. Just ridiculous that no one can tell me the status of my sim and/or delivery thereof.
