Cell C Paid up letter

Hi,

I tried to call your customer care Department for a Paid up letter.

This was an 10 year old account, I couldnt recall which address I used at the time... this was 10 years ago afterall...

agents refuse to help me and just put down the phone on me... it takes on average 18-30 minutes for me to reach the right agent...

I sent an email to [protected]@cellc.co.za and promised turn around of 48 hours... we on hour 54 and not even an acknowledgement...

I paid this over 2 weeks ago can Cell C just give me my Damn Paid up letter... I dont want to pass your stupid secuirty questions because I will not be using your service again...

Some Assistance would be nice or I will just work with the NCR and the ombudsman.

Cell C Cellc fraud

I contact cellc in june to find out whats my settlement amount for my contract they gave it to me and I paid the amount I phone in to advise they need to cancel the contracts that I have with them I send them pop to cancek everything they did not debit me for after that.

Aftet few months they debited a r350 I contact them they advise that I owe them that and my contract was never canceled I have been battling with them to phone me they have been ignoring my emails I have been chatting to them on social media but the service is ao bad keep on telling me I am liable to pay that amount which I dont agree on. According to me the service should have been canceled but still they dont do any thing to assist me I would never ever recommend anyone to use cellc they are a joke!

Cell C Poor service and misinformation regarding upgrade

On 19/01/2022 my son and I went into the Festival Malll Cell C shop and upgraded his phone to the Samsung A32. It was the last one in stock so I could not do an upgrade myself. In any event I wanted the A32/Galaxy Tab combo which was also not in stock. I was told that stock should be in by Friday 21/01. Friday came and I was told Monday. Needless to say I was promised the Tab and A32 by the end of the following week (28/02), but nothing happened. I was now concerned that the deal would expire on the following Monday.

On 31/02/2022 Florence abrubtly forwarded a message to me purportedly from head office. In a nutshell it says that deals will not be extended. (See attached)

Just to eb clear: The ad said "limited stock", but I was not told that there was NO STOCK, only that the store was WAITING for stock.

Desired outcome: I believe the Tab was not available due to incompetence, not stock shortage. I would therefore like Cell C to honour that deal.

Cell C Cellc

April 2021 I took a a contract with cellc telephonically. The contract was R299. Month end April I was suppose to pay pro-rata for the remaining 15 day but cell c deducted R510. I called then and they said is for the pro-rata and the premium for may of which I did not agree on that.

June they deducted R347 instead of R299, they continued to deduct that amount until December when I wanted to cancel my contract because I did not agree on that amount. In July they deducted R900 claiming that I missed my premium for 2 months.

Surprisingly in August they did not deduct and September they wanted only R100. I called complaining that they took my kids money I had to go to loan shark in order to support my kids and still they did not reverse my money.

I canceled the debit order and stated paying cash. In December my Sim card was blocked 4 days after I emailed prove of payment. I tried to cancel my contract with them but failed.

Please help

Desired outcome: Cellc to cancel the contract and compansite me for the headache and lowering my credit score

Cell C Insurance/repairs centre delay poor service

I booked my phone in at Cell c-somerset mall on the 11th of January after it got accidentally damage on 10th January. Received an sms on the 13th saying it was received at the repair centre and is queing for assessment. After a week of no feedback I followed up constantly via email and phone. Just to be told I should follow up on this day and that day because bo quotation has beeb generated even after following up on the days I was told same thing to a point I could not get hold of them I get hunged up on. My concern is that I won't have the phone back within 30 days as stated since by the end of this week will mark 3 weeks since my phone has been received at the repair centre. And no one makes any effort to find out what's the hold up or get the ball rolling. As I have said numerous of times I am not prepared to wait more than 30 days to have the phone back in my possession UNLESS a loan phone is offered. Especially if the company knows this might take longer than 30 days. Its been almost 3weeks no quotation, after that is generated I have to pay an excess before any repairs or replacement process starts again the phone will be queuing even if I pay the excess fee same day, send proof it is not like they will start repairing or replacing it immediately. Again I am not prepared to wait more than 30 days due to cell c's delayed poor sevice and this for a phone I need to pay for every month. I hope someone will get to the bottom of this. Ive paid up my account which was handed over to lawyers 2 months ago..they even gave me a zero statement balance to send to cell c .but iam yet to get my settlement letter from cell c, the send me from deprtment to another iam not happy.i need it cause i want to clear my name

Cell C Phone contrac

I took out two phones on contrac by cell c on 01/02/2016 had the phones for 3 months then i payed out full cancellations fees when i canceld my contrac with them and yesterday when i wanred to bey my daughter a phone on contrac for her birthday, cell c told me i still have a running account and that i dont pay then i try to tell them i canceld it in 2016 they told me no and started to get rude when i asked them how is it possible if i know i cancelled my contrac so so angry with cell c and they just make my life bad ...what a disapointment really please can you fix the problem and get my name cleared, its not my fault you cant do your job right so now i have to pay from 2016 till todate no guys thats wrong if you cant do your job just quit and hope you guys are going to resolf this problem becuase now i cant get credit no thats bad and after yester day the bad service from the sales person and rude sho no i prefer vodacom

Cell C Defrauded contract

My account has been hacked and fraud committed. I have sent my emails and spoken to many consultant including one at Matlosana branch who said there is nothing she can do. To this day after numerous calls made to get this matter resolved no one has gotten in touch with me despite your auto response saying someone will hit in touch with me in 48 hours.noboas called me to give me feedback My accounts have been inactive from mid decker with fraud committed from September. With limited uped without my consent or call done to the call centre. An amount of 4480 was debited and reversed in December and again now the same amount has been debited. How am I getting charged for services that were fraudulently used.

You cannot be employing consultants that are not able to help and escalate customer complaints, this is the worst customer service I have experienced in all my living experience.

Desired outcome: Have the issue resolved and find possible and cancel the contract

Poor service no contacts for the fraud quiry department have been sent useless auto respond emails so far no one has contacted me to inform me whats happening with my case and what's the way forward have been handed for no valid reason all I want is my name to be cleared 😭😭😭😭

Cell C Incorrect Bill/Rude customer agents

There is a billing issue on the account which Cell C have advised more than once on recorded calls was a problem on their end. They are now wanting to double debit my account for something I am not responsible for. The manager I spoke to was not only arrogant but blatantly rude his name is Colin. This is totally unacceptable

Cell C Refund ref [protected]

Good day I have cancelled my contract in September 2021 and cell c send me a statement showing a credit balance, hoping that I would receive the credit into my account the next month. In November realized that my refund was never paid to my account I called and the lady advised that they would send the request, ref number
[protected]. I called again in December and N Mkhasibe advised that I need to send a proof of payment, this was sent on the 7 December, she advised that it would take 7 working days for the refund. I followed up on the 8 December and 16 December and again 19 January with no reply .
This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I can only imagine how many complaits there must be with such terrible service.. Urgently assist with my refund.

Cell C Contract cancelation

I've been struggling with cell c regarding my late husband's contract it's been a year i canceled the contract paid a lot of money gave in all the documents they required from me .received a case number and it's still not canceled .i went from one cell c store to another lost my husband's death certificate due to all this.Cell c service is bad really 😑

Cell C Cancellation of contract account 259725855

We cancelled our Fiber line and Cell C is still debiting us for an amount for a number we do not even have. I have tried to cancel with them but they just do not respond

This is one of the emails I sent to the fraud department on 19-04-2021:
Good day

On 12 April 2021 at 11h40 (call reference number [protected]) I called regarding the cancellation of our home fibre contract.

It however transpires that there is a "Piggy Back" on the contract for Smart Data ([protected]) which commenced at the same time our fibre contract started. We do not know what this? The gentleman I spoke to seemed to think that it was a fraudulent account that was opened - we are not sure?

Please can someone urgently advise as we DO NOT WANT ANT CONTRACT WITH CELL C AND HAVE CANCELLED OUR SERVICES as per the attached email.

Please urgently advise

Cell C Sim swops

Hi.. So I lost my cell phone... I have no history/record of my last airtime purchase nor history I don't even remember the last recharge date nor how many time I have used emergency airtime this past month as I always use emergency airtime of I run out... All I remember is a had a whatsapp bundle and I still owe r90 on the emergency airtime which i'm môre than happy to pay if I can just get my number back... I do know 3 numbers I dial frequently... I've even been to home affairs to try get a new id and I failed due to my fingerprints changing/not picking up then they chance me to a different longer lime which I waited in the whole day for nothing apparently I can't be helped... Ridiculous and now I have no income cause this was my business number.. What's worse is I can't get into anything... Not facebook nor youtube premium not even google play store nor email or any other accounts I have... This is very stressful and feels like i'm screwed and going backwards i'm very disappointed that cell c can't help me i've been to 3 different stores but no id so they can't assist... Why can't u guys please just use my licence? Or one better u can see my number has been off since the +- 7th of jan so it's not like i'm trying to steal anyone's number?.. Why can't u rather apply this sort of technique when checking with ur customers if they struggling to do a sim swap. I'm begging i'm the kindest way possible for cell c to please help me out... I've tried everything day and night, I simply can't give up... I need that number

It was taken out and I got it registered with rica with the exact same licence I still have... I don't have an id anymore and can't get on... Sim card is on my name and everything...

I have a cell c bill that has been over payed . I struggling to get proper assistance with a refund . I've been calling the call center agents only to be told to wait for a call from finance department . The service I've been getting from you is appalling . I need you to resolve this matter .

Cell C Router not working with my sim card and rude personnel

16 December 2021 - 3 January 2022 Several emails

I went to Carlworld Cell C on 11 December 2021. I asked the lady there that I want to buy a portable router for my Vodacom sim card. They do not have any routers to test my sim card, only her TP Link portable router. She said that the ZTE MF927U LTE Ufi router can take any service provider sim card. She tested it and it was not working. I asked her why it is not working on this device. She said I need to do a sim swop at Vodacom. So I went to Vodaworld to do a sim swop. The sim card is still not working. My sim card is working on her TP Link device.

I phoned Cell C customer service on 13 December and the lady said they need to refund me or give me a router that will work with my sim card. Today, 16 December I went back to the store and told them that they need to refund me or exchange it for a router that will work with my sim card. I've got 3 routers at home and my sim card is working on all 3 devices, but I need a portable device. Sihle who is working there was rude and told me that he will not refund me because the problem is with my sim card and it is my problem. So I called customer care again and the lady told me they have to refund me, so I gave my phone to Sihle, and I could not hear what they were talking about, then I spoke to her again and then all of a sudden she said she can't help me and I need to speak to the manager. The customer care lady is bias. So the manager (Vivian) told me it is my blerrie problem and it is my problem if my sim card is not working on that device. I told her that she tested it and it wasn't working and still she said it is my problem that the sim card is not working. I told her I will even exchange that router for a router that will work with my sim card even if I need to pay extra, and she said Cell C only has this one router.

I asked Vivian if she knew the return policy and she said yes. I am like furniture with Cell C and I know that you can return within 7 days and she still refuses and tells me it is my problem.

So on my way home I called customer service again and told the lady what happened. She said I have to go to the Cell C store and they need to refund me. So I told her I just came from there and Sihle and Vivian told me it is my problem.

I am very unhappy with the service I've received from that branch and that their language is unacceptable the way they spoke to their customers.

This kind of service is unacceptable and I want to know how I can pay for something I cannot use after it was tested and also not working.

I want to report Sihle and Vivian for very bad behaviour towards me and I want a refund on the router that I cannot use. I will not tolerate people talking to me like [censored].

Please let me know what the outcome of this situation will be.

Someone phoned me 7 January and told me that this is for another department and someone will phone me back. It is the 12th and I am still waiting.

Cell C Day time data consumed during night hrs and no reimbursement or refund

Hi. So I filed a complaint with cell c when I realized that all my day time data was being consumed during midnight timings on my contract.
I received a reply from cell c saying that I have to physically switch off my data connection at midnight and switch it on again to activate the midnight data. When I questioned as to why this needs to be done when they automatically switch off the midnight data at 5 am in the morning. I received all sort of various replies and admitted that their system sometimes gas techni al issues. When I requested a refund for all the data that their system stole from me I was told that they won't reimburse me. Has any one else had this problem?

Cell C Service

Cell C use to be a nice company to deal with but not anymore.
There accounting system are awful
In December 2020 I change my debit order date and on the 6th February 2021 I was debited twice I queried this and was told by the operator that my payments should be monthly in advance that is why there was two deductions.
Now I want to cancel one contract and the operator said that my payments are monthly in arrears.
I honestly think that Cell C are robbing the people - I joined Cell C in 2001 when they started in South Africa

Cell C Contract paid up but blacklisted

Hi I payed my accounts outstanding balances but on my credit record there's a judgment that I didn't pay my account I even sent you guys my proof of payment but still I can't get assisted and I've called logged complaints but instead I'm told cell c will contact me within 2 working days but no one calls me back to resolve the issue I'm not happy with the service I'm getting
