CCI Hotel Reservations is a scam! 1.800.468.3578 took my reservation for a Comfort Inn in Chambersburg, PA. When I arrived I was directed to a Super 8 Hotel. The hotel itself was dingy and in poor repair. The room was filthy with a filthy toilet and lights not working. I complained and the hotel canceled my reservation. Then I was able to stay at the close by Comfort Inn. Now I am unable to receive a refund! I cannot be connected to an agent. This is a scam!

A scam. They lie to get you to book with them and then even if something is 100% refundable they hold back $20 from the refund. Be careful when booking because they also make you believe that you are talking to the actual hotel desk staff

I used CCI for a hotel reservation at the Kahler Grand Hotel at the Mayo Clinic. My tests were completed earlier than anticipated. I spoke to CCI and they agreed that if I had the approval from the Kahler Grand Hotel to cancel my reservation they would agree to the refund. The hotel was willing to provide the refund but CCI backed out of their refund commitment and will not respond to phone or email requests. CCI is an unscrupulous organization and I would caution anybody who tries to use them for any hotel reservations.

This company charged me $201 for a room I never booked. They use bait and switch techniques. List a room for $120 then when you to to pay the room is suddenly $200. They refuse to give a detailed breakdown of the charges as well. I booked a r9om directly thru hotel and it was $60 less. Then when I saw my billing statement CCI hotel aka getaroom.com had billed me $201 for the same room even though the hotel has no record of that transaction.

CCI Hotel Reservations are thieves. I booked with them on the incorrect date from intended. I immediately tried to cancel the reservation and rebook it. Since I was not able to do this online, I immediately called the 1800 number and the recording stated that their policy is No Refunds.

Total scammers. Problem is you don't know you are dealing with them when you call to make a reservation. I thought I was talking with the Hotel directly. I was told it was the last room available and then got over charged $100 from what the room would have cost if I would have just walked into the hotel. There were many rooms available when I checked in.

Hotels probably don't care because they are getting their rooms filled.

Someone needs to shut this company down or hit them with a class action lawsuit. Won't be the hotels.

Hard lesson learned.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! They appear to be the hotel you wish to stay at but they are a 3rd party travel agency! I booked a reservation and realized I was paying way more than others traveling with me and staying at the same hotel. I cancelled within 30 minutes and was told no refunds. 30 minutes! I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. As of now they received $433.38 for absolutely NOTHING!

I was on hotels.com app. A pop up appeared as soon as I put in my info. Immediately called number, within 2 min, and was told no refund. I told them that I did not use them, but no luck. Tried to stop payment with bank, while on phone with them. Bank said sorry can't stop it even though it was still pending. Now siding with CCI. Lost nearly $600.00.

This company is a complete scam. I reserved a room by mistake and called them 5 minutes later to cancel they charged a whole night fee. They are a scam as they had a date in the past to be able to cancel. So many have been scammed I wonder if there should be a class action law suit against them.

Yes, same here. The allowed date to cancel is a past date from the date you booked. I filed a dispute but nothing happens because the credit card company is relying to the Merchant's bank. There were no bookings at all in the hotel. I am forced to purchase another hotel booking. Good thing I changed my card right away otherwise, they will steal more. If this is a company in the USA, i hope the federal government would take action.

Due to a family crisis we had to make an emergency reservation near hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. We didn't notice that the web-site was not Hampton Inn but rather CCI Reservations. The rate was supposed to be $120.00 plus taxes. My card was charged $225.79. The hotel received $147.83. That's $79.96 for just taking the reservation. The web-site is cleverly disguised to look like Hampton Inn's site so the mistake is quite easy to make. This service is a rip-off.

Never use this company! Total Scam!

Booked a room that had a guarantee cancellation. Called the hotel 2 times, I was told it was cancelled.

Called CCI and spoke to someone foreign who could barely understand English, who stated clearly I was within the cancellation period, but the reservation was never cancelled.

I called back a 2nd time to CCI ton confirm and a gentleman answered. I again was told me I was within the cancellation period, but then hung up on me.

Although I have emails and phone records showing I spoke to them, I was still charged!

I'm not sure how I got on CCI to reserve my room. I thought I was on Booking.com, but somehow got transferred to their site. They charged over $100 in fees for 2-night stay in a room that was about $100 a night. I am currently waiting for my refund as I had to cancel the trip, and this was the only way I realized I was reserved through CCI. Not a good website at all!

CCI charged my credit card $690.91 and paid Microtel Inn & Suites in Mankato, MN $74.37, and they are getting away with it. Great Scammers, I hope karma comes back to bite them. My credit card company has closed the case because CCI stated my reservation was non-refundable, even though the GM of the hotel provided proof that he refunded their money to them in good faith, to return it to me. I have learned my lesson the hard way. And I will not give the hotel a good review because they are allowing the customers to be scammed by this company.

Made a reservation for 33 days from now in Las Vegas to see my grandson in a karate tournament. I made the reservation on what I thought was the hotel website but somehow it went through a scam company called Hotel Values.com aka: CCI* Hotel Res. I called the next day to cancel and was told the reservation, 33 days from now, is non-refundable. This is an ABSOLUTE SCAM company. DO NOT allow your reservation to be confirmed by them. I contacted my credit card company (CITI VISA) and began a dispute. I will also contact the Hotel to advise them what is happening on their own website.

DO NOT USE they messed up my reservations and to fix (correction by one day) they per phone said it had to be under a additional

Res. Number. Than when I was forced to cancel do to work schedule. They only refunded the first reservation and said the add on second reservation was not refundable. This change was made within 10 minutes of taking to them! How can you make one refundable and not the other when they are the ones that did this. The Hotel stated refundable yet thru CCI getaroom.com not?

and when I booked thru hotel website (so I thought ,it got directed thru this scam) watch yourself when booking on line!

I work for a nonprofit suicide prevention center. It broke my heart for our organization to be scammed for 147.00. We struggle every day to stay above water to help those suffering. To have people who will not be held accountable for their actions is horrible. I am overwhelmed with hurt feelings. I did call the call center, and they basically laughed in my face. I booked a room, and within 1 minute, I was offered a better deal. I was so delighted that I had saved the organization some money.

I will pay it back in small installments each month because I feel responsible for falling for a scam.

CCI*HOTELS is an absolute fraud. On Dec. 19 I made reservations for a stay Dec. 31, '21 and Jan 1, '22, on what appeared to be the hotel chains reservation site. I had to cancel for various reasons, just 2 days later, in other words 10 days before the planned arrival day. I received an email confirmation of the reservation and also of the cancellation. On both emails the following print appears "Cancellation Policy. Each room in this reservation is subject to the hotel's cancellation policy which is" This reservation is non-refundable. There is no refund for no-shows or early checkouts." When I called the hotel in question, they stated that this was not the cancellation policy, and although they had received the booking and cancellation, they had not received any funds, however, since I booked through a 3rd party they could not help me. I disputed the charges with my credit card company and the charges were "conditionally credited" to my account. Today the issue, as far as the CC company is concerned, is resolved, other words, they cannot help, and CCI*Hotels refuse to refund. The next step will be legal means, but in order to do that, one must find the physical business address of the scammers, and someone to serve. The Hotels, independent and chains, that permit CCI*Hotels to piggy bag on the hotels name should, as a group, attempt to shut this fraudulent operation down. I suspect that the real culprits are in India or Pakistan, because each time I have had a conversation it is with someone with an accent from that part of the world.

I recently stayed at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. thought I was making reservation directly to the hotel but was somehow diverted to this CCI company. They debited $449 out of my account and when I checked into the hotel I found that they had no record of the funds being received. I had to pay additional funds and when I called the company to complain, I was told that they had to email the hotel to verify what I was told and was offered 10% of what I had already paid. This is a scam and I will probably be our the money. Make sure you are talking with hotel reservations rather than through this 3rd party.

I had a similar problem with CCI - Beware the small print - their reservations are non-refundable even 2 hours after you make the reservation. I called to cancel at 5:00 pm made a reservation at 3:00. No refund - Marriot was unwilling to help. The CCI customer service was in India - chickens crowing in the background interpreting the conversation. - What a joke. - Will never work with CCI or Marriot again. I called the Marriot representative and she indicated they could not help but would be glad to take the money from CCI, the parasite organization that used Marriot’s name in their URL. This way Marriot lets the parasite group deal with any issues. The agreement to terms and conditions pops up after you have to click YES to the terms. I am cancelling VISA card and never will do business with Marriot due to their association with CCI. I will not stay at any chain because of my experience with these people.

This company is a rip off. I stayed at a hotel that I got a reservation for through Expedia I thought. They said the charge would be $839.67 for 5 nights. Usually you give them your credit card number and they use it to hold room, but not charge it. They immediately charged me. I stayed at the hotel and when I checked out got a print out of charges. Only $520.70! Cool, I expected a refund to my card. Waited 6 weeks, no refund. Called CCI, they say the invoice from the hotel is wrong and there is nothing they will do. So no refund. I am disputing with my credit card company. Hope I get the $318.97 difference. They inflate the nightly charges from what the hotel really charges. DON'T BOOK THROUGH THESE GUYS.

I am happy to report that my claim against this company was resolved by my bank [Chase] and saved me $937.00. I tried dealing with the company directly but got absolutely nowhere. My suggestions are - gather all your information, including material from other people who were hijacked by this company, and pass it on to your credit card company - for me it was Visa.
Good luck and don't give us - it is well worth the time and effort.

Those [censored]. I’m in a claim with US Bank today that encompasses 5 party’s for a scam reservation that is being canceled a month in advance at Waldorf Astoria in La Quinta, CA. Scammed by Reservationdesk.com who books through get a room.com who books at Priceline. Waldorf doesn’t get paid for services not rendered but these pigs split it all. One of Biggest scams I have ever seen backed by banks apparently too. I will fire US Bank if they side with these criminals

I was able to get an immediate refund from this decietful company by going to the website:
https://www.guestreservations.com/ (as in Guest Reservations and independent travel network)
Like others have said, there is no way to get through on the phone as indicated on the receipt but if you have your reservation number, you can look up your reservation and cancel it on this website. This probably only works when canceling ahead of your stay but the mark up was extraordinary so I noticed the extra large charge quickly.

We had a major winter storm here in corpus christi TX. On Feb 16th, I booked a room through expedia not cci reservations. I canceled the reservation because the road it was on was blocked due to ice. I called and made a second reservation to a second hotel through expedia. I canceled this one for the same reason. We ended up staying with friends that had power. A few days later I had a charge for 357.00 on my credit card. I contacted both hotels, they don't show any charges. I contacted expedia and they verified my cancelations. I called the number on the statement but never was able to speak to a person and the system disconnected. I have now contacted my credit card company to dispute this transaction
Has anyone received their refund from this compamy?

We had a level 3 evacuation order due to the OR wildfires. While I was getting the kids in the car my husband called and booked 2 rooms at the Holiday Inn for 3 nights. When I got he conformation text it was for the worst Best Western I’ve ever stayed in and we were charged $967.60. The rooms were gross and the customer service was worse. I called to have them fix the problem and get is to a nice hotel with no luck. We stayed 1 night only then went to Comfort Suites and that hotel was wonderful. I know cci crooks and we will never get our money back. Oh 4 days after we left I got a charge of $67.47 on my cc. I was told it was a pet fee. We did not bring any pets with us. Why won’t the government shut these people down? I guess Karma will have to get them

Good Afternoon
I have an event plan and made reservation for a couple individuals who suppose to be staying at Whydam Rockville center New York. Because of the Covid 19 the Hotel where the event was taking place close, also all individuals that was reserved with CCI Hotel.com has to cancel $1300 in reservations. CCI Hotel refuses to give us a refund stating that the reservation is not qualified for a refund. My credit card company file a complaint in an effort to retrieve the funds back, they told them the reservation is not qualify for refund. I continue to call now they are telling me that because my credit card company file a complaint I am not I cannot get back a refund. These people needs to be put out of business immediately. What they are doing is high way robbery and the hotel needs to be accountable as well.

We booked a room at Defiance House Lodge, Bullfrog Bay, Lake Powell for a family reunion. The money for the room was withdrawn 3 days after the reservation, we Still hadnt recieved a reservation number. Thats when I called again. They said that we were booked and would resend the number. (Should have smelled a rat) We showed up for our fun weekend, of course there was no reservation, and the Lodge was full. I've never experienced this brazen of deceptive fraud. Of course I cant seem to get thru to CCI by phone. I'll see what my bank can do.

BEWARE CCI, BEWARE GetARoom.com…Fraud Phone site…They Steal Your Money…BEWARE! On my credit card I had a charge for $1955.28 listed as CCI*Hotel Res. It took several calls to their [protected] number to get a person (you must act like you want to make a new reservation). Also be sure you have your R# for the reservation or they refuse to talk to you. CCI sent me a copy of their receipt. It was a charge for the same hotel on the same dates that “I paid in person” on checkout directly to the hotel! Plus they added a $553.73 charge for what they call a service fee? I never pay before a stay, only at checkout and certainly would not agree to pay a $553.73 fee. When I told CCI this was a duplicate charge and I needed a refund, CCI gave me ticket #3605520 and promised to get back to me in 7 days. I called the hotel to verify; they did not have a duplicate reservation and “did not” receive a payment from CCI. In the last 2 months I have called many times and get the same 7 day promise. I have sent detailed emails, both receipts (the hotel’s and theirs) and copy of credit card statements. They STOLE money from my credit card and did nothing! They refuse to let me talk to the proper department. This company is STEALING money! I have found numerous reviews about them, WARNING people. BEWARE, they may steal your money also and you cannot get them to give your money back!
