Catholic Charities Of The Archdiocese Of Chicago's create/make an appoint for the booster shot offered in my senior building

I live in a senior building (zelda Ormes) 116 west Elm Street, Chicago, Illinois 60610. A satellite office of Catholic Charities is offering sign up for the booster shots. I went down to ask for an appointment. The person working in the office asked for my booster card, I asked why, she stated they might need it and I will make a copy. She then handed me a 2 page form to fill out. I looked it over, and it asked many medical questions. I stated I am not comfortable giving you my medical information, I just needed to make the appointment and I will give the medicals any information they need. she then stated how do I know she wasn't a medical, she stated she was a medical assistant.

She is working as a clerk/office manager in a catholic Charites office, I was not, per HIPPA giving my medical information to this person. I WAS DENIED AN APPOINTMENT.

i ASKED IF I COULD STILL COME DOWN FOR THE SHOT, SHE STATED IF THEY ARE NOT TOO BUSY...WHAT THE HECK...SHE WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL...

Desired outcome: i WOULD LIKE THE APPOINTMENT THAT I REQUESTED WITHOUT GIVING MY PERSONAL, PRIVATE MEDICAL INFORMATION TO A NON MEDICAL PERSON.

I experienced the same rude and nasty attitude from Latisha and wanted to speak with her supervisor Stephanie who returned my call today and she was just as rude as nasty. I am my moms care giver too and things have changed and I was inquiring about what needs to be done to get hrs increased and I never got an answer, just nasty attitudes. They need to be retrained in how to communicate and explain how things operate.

Catholic Charities Of The Archdiocese Of Chicago's customer service ms davis

To Whom It May Concern,

Hello my name is Tasia Barr, today my family and I visited Catholic Charities located at 721 S. Lasalle Chicago IL. While standing outside waiting in line waiting for entry, a volunteer by the name Ms. Crowford introduce herself as one of the volunteers. She kept us informed on the wait time. Once we arrived inside the building, we got sent around to the case worker offices. This is our first time coming to this location. I came with my mother and two aunts that's in there early senior age. Once the cases worker called my mother name, we informed him that we came together but all live-in different locations.

During our intake we meet with a nice gentleman that inform us that he is working by himself and that he will get our paperwork together. He also informed us that we weren't in the right zip code but there will be a onetime courtesy for food. He provided us with a list of locations that provides food in each of our zip codes. As the volunteer comes to take a group downstairs, we observe Ms Davis grabbing serval clear bags that seem to be NEW winter coats with the price tags attached and other gently used items. As we approach the elevators, I see her gatherings all these items and put them in a big gray buggy and push it in another room towards her office.

Once we arrive downstairs the volunteer took our paperwork, by it being our first time she is explaining the routine of the services. The first group of five, were the only folks getting clothing household etc. everyone else at the time needed food. Please refer to login sheet for (1/3/20). As volunteer is giving us instruction according to the form, she wanted to make sure we followed the criteria on the form on how many items to get. At this point we are looking for clothing items, household items etc. Ms. Davis come downstairs with a nasty attitude and staring at us as if we didn't belong there. As I search for items, I told the volunteer that my family and I have a home now.

Ms. Davis responded to her co-worker that I didn't look homeless because I had on a North face jacket, and that I'm probably lying about having children. Meanwhile, my mother picks up a small used black shredder as one of her household items. Ms. Davis tell my mother "you can't have that!" and took it out my mother hand. My mother didn't respond she just sat down and waited. When it was time to close out to go to the food section, I had some children items, Ms. Davis reply with her sassy comment, you need to show a medical card with child/ children name and your name on the medical card to get kids items.

I gracefully told her that wasn't told to us upstairs the question of having children wasn't even asked during intake. My Aunt show her legal Judge stamp guardianship paperwork with her name on the document and the child name, Ms.Davis said that wasn't acceptable. Ms. Davis sent me back upstairs to redo paperwork. The caseworker apologizes for not asking is we had children, "again he's working by himself" so he forgot and that's understandable. Proceeded to go back downstairs to retrieve the children items, she is standing around not assisting at all micromanaging the staff downstairs with her negative energy.

Ms. Davis called upstairs to see if there were other people waiting for other services, they said yes ONE person but, everyone else is here for food. So they gave us a little time to bag up our items and move on to the next section. While exiting the volunteer Ms Crowford handed me a hygiene bag she offered my mother an aunts one Ms Davis say "we don't have anymore" when there was just a big box of products when I received my package. This was the most humiliating feeling ever to experience discrimination from an African American woman when we are all African American women.

Today's experience at this location with Ms. Davis was so disrespectful and selfish. Its clearly obvious that when new or awesome things that's donated to the organization, is being kept for personal gain or been stolen and not given to the people that needs it. We are grateful to be able to get help from a professional organization like Catholic Charities it gives my family hope. To experience a staff member like Ms. Davis, with her NASTY attitude and negative energy brought our spirts down. How can she have a heart for unfortunate people if she treats people with so much disrespect.

My aunt needs a winter coat very bad. To not even been offer her a coat or a used coat after standing outside in the cold, Ms Davis goes and hide the winter coats. And said "they thought they were come in and get the good stuff." I went to the office to speak with a supervisor she wasn't available, that's when I observed the used shredder that she took from my mother in her office for her own personal use. While I was leaving out the building she told someone that she is going take me out the system so I cant receive no services. why is she treating me this way when I'm in need and respectful.

During all this transaction there wasn't any confrontational words exchange, security wasn't called none of the above. This our first encounter with Davis. Her disposition was all out of order. The morale in the office seem very low. Ms. Davis customer services skills is ridiculous and unprofessional.

My family is not rich and just because we are down on bad times right now, doesn't mean we have to be treated like a criminal and talk down to as if we are illiterate. With all do respect I'm alumni from Spertus College with a master's degree in Nonprofit Management, during my studies I was never taught to display disrespectful customer services.

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience and will never return to that locations. I hope this matter will be address in a timely manner and that Ms. Davis takes some public services courses or professional training classes on how to communicate and treat customers when they walk into a well-known establishment like Catholic Charites. It's very important that she understands and respects the vison an mission of Catholic Charites.

Thanks Again
Tasia Barr, MSNM

Catholic Charities Of The Archdiocese Of Chicago's thursday night supper

My name is Reginald Hood and I regularly attend the suppers at the Catholic Charities at 721 No. Leslie in Chicago Il. Everything was fine except another free dinner recipient named Gloria. She's a middle aged caucasian woman that frequents the daily dinners and sits at the same table that I sit at, but in the same chair almost all the time. Well...Thursday, my good friend Markeara Looney had two of her teenage children come to the dinner, but they showed up too late to sit at the same table with their mom who was sitting on the other side of the room. There were empty seats at the table where I was sitting. So, when I noticed their dilemma, I motioned to her that there were 3 empty seats at the table I was sitting at and to send them over. One teen came in the room about 10 minutes before the other, so I naturally sent for both of them to sit with me because they are very well-mannered and sweet. and she motioned to me to watch over her teens while they were there at the table where I sitting. Gloria pounced from her chair and started yelling at all three of us as if she decided who sat where at the tables. She ended up arguing with half the people at the table, using profanity and causing a huge commotion. There was no apparent reason why she would do this and the only thing that differed from her and the teens and I is that we are not caucasian. It was explained to me later that she has a history of doing such things and that she often calls or writes in to get the security guards fired or moved elsewhere. Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Stop helping this lady before reputation get ruined undeservedly. This meal program is a really good thing. Stand up good people!

Sub: Regarding Fund Transfer
Sir

My name is T. David Thomas. I am writing this letter to confirm the
following and want to know whether it is true or fake.
I have received a mail on10/08/2010 from Catholic Charities
Organization informing that I was selected as one of the Award Winner
to receive the Award sum of 1, 500, 000.00 EUR and asked to claim the
funds through a courier company “British Airways World Cargo”. With
that I have proceeded as per the instructions of their representative
and paid Rs.98, 000/- to get 1) Endorsement Stamp of the Ministry Of Finance 2)Approval Stamp from the Governor of (R.B.I) 3)Tax and Insurance charges & non-residential tax clearance certificate in addition to the courier charges.

Further, I received message from their representative informing that
the fund has been deposited in an on line account opened in my name
with RBI. My account number given as [protected] with an account pin.
This information is given by RBI Manager named as S.K (only)
International Fund Transfer Department, Reserve Bank of India. With
this available data received I could not transfer the fund to my local
account due to the lack of Anti Terrorist Certificate Code (ATC) and
the matter has been informed. Now the RBI manager is asking to remit
Rs.74, 000/- for the ATC code for getting the fund transferred.

I am totally confused and want to make sure whether these proceedings
are true and whether the fund has been deposited with RBI in my name
in the given account number. Kindly advice me whether to proceed in
sending the amount for getting the ATC code and also please confirm
that any other formalities will continue further.

Kindly give me the required information at the earliest to avoid any
confusion as mentioned in the latest mail I received.

Thanking you,

you that i also happen to be a lucky recipent of this same award last
year, first i was having some scepticisms over the whole issue but i was
told to send an email along side my datas to their Claims agent who is
Mr James Phillip(mr.jamesphillip@hotmail.com)who in turn guided me on
how i collected the won amount, the only thing i paid for was the
transfer charges then my winnings was transfererd to my Bank account directly from the United Kingdom.

So I would advice you write to the Claims Agent to inform you on how
