Catherine W. Real, P.A. Complaints & Reviews

Catherine W. Real P.A.Dead beat

Catherine W. Real P.A.on May 01, 2010, asked our firm to prepare a case summary for a previous investigation that we had performed on behalf of an individual client. They requested additional reports and video services which we provided at a discounted rate, we hand delivered the information in 24 hrs. Catherine W. Real P.A. requested an additional copy for the lawyer representing the other client. We did so at no additional cost as a sign of good faith. When the original invoice had become 30 days past due we sent out a reminder letter, and then again at 60 days, and 90 days. We then attempted to speak to Catherine W. Real and Robert Diaz the firm's bookkeeper. Mr.Diaz would hang up the phone every time.Mrs.Catherine W. Real would not even get on the phone. It is a shame that Catherine W. Real P.A. practices business in this manner. I would recommend that anyone that wish to do business with Catherine W. Real P.A. get payed CASH, in advance of any services provided.

    • I agree that this is how she treats her clients. When I was in her waiting room one time (it's always a different group of people in there by the way) someone was calling about an invoice for services they provided her. The exasperated girl in the office said to them that she had handled their last several calls and she personally had tried to ask Ms. Real about it, and she hadn't been able to get an answer. Then she told me that it wasn't the only collection they had, that most of her calls were angry clients being blown off, or people trying to collect! She said Ms. Real doesn't pay her service providers! She has been dishonest, unethical, neglectful, threatening, condescending, insulting, and backed me in a corner about payments right up against deadlines for thousands of dollars. I have found mistakes in everything. She is unreachable. She files motions, plays games, makes promises to file basic paperwork in response to opposing counsel and then doesn't do it, I have a history of documented calls, emails, faxes, none responded to. I do not recommend this business for anything. She should not have a license to practice based upon all of the other reviews about her too.

It is absolutely correct. This is the way Ms. Catherine W. Real treats her clients as well. She takes payment upfront from her clients and then never act on their case. She makes phone conference appointments, but always cancels them, no response to any emails. There is absolutely no way one can contact her. Highly unprofessional and UNETHICAL services. People thinking of retaining her services, BEWARE ! Save your hard earned money and precious time.
