Cash Crusaders unethical behaviour by cashier and manager on duty

On 05/02/2018 at 09:37 the morning I went to Cash Crusaders in Belhar airport mall where I went to purchase a toolbox for R1300. I than went to the cashier Zuretha Freeman who assisted me and asked me how am I going to pay.During this transaction I informed her that I will be paying R500 with bank card and R800 cash, i swiped my card and signed and was given my proof of purchase (slip) and left the store.As I am a mechanic I went straight to my work place and started working and going up and down to buy car parts, not realizing that the cashier never took my cash.
The next morning at 09h35 I was rudely awaked by the staff member Zuretha by whatsapp message as I am a regular customer in the store of the money I had not given and I stole it.The problem is not that they informed me about the mistake it was the rude and vulgar language that was used as communication, I had than replied and informed the cashier that I have by accident used the money and she must give me time I will bring as soon as I have it.Worse part is that I have a slip to proof I paid but was rudely threatened with the police and that they are making a case against me for theft.After almost an entire day of up and down with this cashier I manage to get the money and took it to the store, and instead of the cashier thanking me for bringing the R800 she started screaming and shouting at me and my mother and swearing at us the we are thieves, best of all is that the manager Ashley Peters on duty at that time did nothing to calm down his staff member instead he also just grinned at us and said we must go if we want to go compliant his not scared" go run we not scared".Where is CPA in this store, is this the caliber of people you employee in you're stores, I am disgusted in the service and will go as far as every media support to make my voice known. Very upset.

Cash Crusaders shop condition of parow station branch

My names is Kimberly
I am always at cash crusaders Parow station
The shop is too hot as there are no air conditioning installed the staff might fall sick and customers might boycott the shop as the condition is very bad

I must commend the branch manager namely Oscar for his professionalism in the use of internet marketing and his help and assistance when ever am there he has such a unique marketing skill that I haven't seen before elsewhere

The shop is properly located it's neat to walk around and items are properly displayed on the shelves and glasses

I will always want to return to the shop as their items are properly advertised and the manager willingness to help will always bring people to the shop

I feel if the air conditioner is installed the shop will perform twice more than it's doing at the moment

Cash Crusaders car radio

I buy a car radio on the 20th of November 2017 is was ohk, and the radio started to turn it self off on a daily basis when I go to the store they told me they can't help me cause I don't have an installation slip. I am not happy with the service I got there which means my money is gone for something which is not working, and if this is a service we get when returning goods I will never purchase anything from cash crusaders

Cash Crusaders hand vacuum

Good day.

I went to your Randburg branch looking for a hand vacuum cleaner and requested a sales person to assist me ( Pumelelo ). I had been waiting half an hour to be assisted and had to repeatedly ask for assistance to test the item. The sales person said he could not find the charger and accesories and continued to assist othe clients without assisting me or communicationg as to the accesories. Very dissapointed with the level of servive i was given trying to purchase an item from your store.

Cash Crusaders flat screen t. v

Good day i bought a t.v from cash crusaders in Mamelodi Denneboom and whiten a few months the t.v died without any physical impact i went to report this immediately at the which a lady by the name of Lebo who is also a manager there helped, i told her my story and she advised me to bring the t.v in which i was unable to do immediately as the result of my job however i eventually got around to doing this but before then i had spoken to a lady from stylico the repair center by the name Rainee who explained the problem and she understood and told me to send take the t.v back tell the store to send it to Lenseria repair where it will be repaired at no charge. a week after taking my t.v in i was told that physical damage was done to my t.v and the refused to fix, further more if its to be repaired it will cost me more than the amount i bought it with, i feel like cash crusaders takes advantage of its customers and it it is abusive to our customer rights. first of all i know for sure that my t.v did not receive any physical damage of any sort, secondly there is not even signs of impact on my t.v it just has marks it just looks like something cracked inside which could have done by short circuiting or whatever i m not sure, i just know that it was not physical damage. and now they turn their back on me and refuse any form of help to me which i don't think its good ethics. if anybody know how i can bring them to justice please inform me

Cash Crusaders rude staff

I went to cash crusaders northmead square today 25/10/17 to sell my sons xbox 360 games . A black assisted us by escorting us to the buying department and mentioned that they will offer R50 for each game although I paid between R500 to R1000 for eac game . The reason for selling the games was because we upgraded to an Xbox one and no longer required the games . The black gentleman seeked advice from a white employee "who seemed to be superior" about a game that did not have a proper title label on it the superior seemed unconcerned and rejected accepting that game . I then enquired about the other games that was cased and labelled originally. I was told that games were not new . So I asked " do you want new games for R50 each?"
He harshly replied "yes we wnt brand new games for 50 bucks " How unprofessional?

Cash Crusaders smartphone

I bought a Sony Xperia F3111 at Cash Crusaders 4 days ago.At the back of the phone where the price is there's also a date when the phone came in the store and it was 4 October 2017 and when we looked through the phone we realised there's pictures off the staff of that Cash Crusaders in Parow Sanlam Centre that was taken in January.

When we went there to take the phone back they refused to take the phone back the Manager took it and was 15 minutes gone to the back and came back and refused to give our money back.

Its Fraud what they did and they Overcharged me and the staff was very unprofessional especially the Manager in charge there after we gave out R2000 for the phone.

Cash Crusaders steam iron

I Purchased a steam iron on the 29/09/2017 at the Cash Crusaders Overport Branch. The Cashier was Till 2. Sales person: Mandla

When I went home I plugged the Steam iron and it came on for 5 seconds and afterwards it just did not work afterwards. I placed the iron back in the box for return. I managed to get to Cash Crusaders Overport on Wednesday the 04/10/2017 (4 days later) to get a refund or a credit note. to my dismay the staff I must say are VERY RUDE! especially the cashier. I was told that this iron will go in for repairs which will take up to 21 days to repair. All I want is a refund. If I wait 21 days what will one do without an iron. Obviously I have to now buy a new one elsewhere.

This is unacceptable that I cannot get a refund as requested.

I asked to speak to the manager and was told by the Cashier and the Sales person Mandla that they were all in a meeting.

Cash Crusaders cheated out of my gold chain

So Times are tough and i went to put in a Gold watch and a Gold Chain in by Cash Crusaders Durbarnville for buy back. It expired last week Monday. I phoned the store and said to them i cant make it however i will be back in cape town on the 20th the evening. The gentle men told no problem we have a 10 day Grace period . I still thank him and said I will be there this morning he said yes we are at the shop from 08:00. This morning I arrived they told me first of no they cant help me come back at 09;00. Okay I went back at 09;10 to find out that the cGold chain had been sold and the watch is for sale. No one can help its pathetic and now i have lost a chain that cost R4800 for not even R400. This is day light robbery and Un Acceptable i want answers and if this is not sorted out I am force to take it up until I am satisfied.

Cash Crusaders speakers

On the 15 August 2017 I bought new speakers at Cash Crusaders, Midrand.

When I arrived home, one speaker was not working. I had transport problems to return the speakers. Within 2 weeks of purchasing the speakers I returned them.

The staff at the shop were willing to help but consulted the area manager for authorizing the replacement.

The lady came back saying the area manager refused to authorize refund or replacement. I was told that there is no refund nor replacement. The price was R2639, 70.

The only thing the sales lady can do was to take them for repairs which was informed may last for 4 weeks before getting them back.

My concern is that if the repair failed what should I do?

Cash Crusaders overport store refuses refund of item bought 3 days ago

I have purchased a Baby Car Seat (2nd hand one) from Overport store. My wife was not happy with the one I picked out when I got home and went to find a nicer one from a Game store that was bought new. She insisted that I return the one she did not want.
Upon returning to the store, the assitant manager Vusi Mhlongo refused to return the item and refund my money even though there was not a scratch altered on the item. I returned it in EXACTLY the same condition as I bought it.
I am excersizing my right as a consumer to return an item I changed my mind about (I have 5 days cooling off period according to the Consumer Protection Act) - and he was quite rude to me.
My manager at work phoned the assistant manager of the store today at 4:50pm and asked him why he wouldn't return the item and he told my manager that he must go return the one we bought from Game in a very rude and arrogant fashion.
This is really terrible customer service!
All I want is for you to take your car seat back and refund me. If you do not help me I will send my wife to deal with you and then you will be very sorry!
Please, I'm asking you very nicely to intervene and allow there to be peace in my household.

Cash Crusaders dodgee phone x9 pro

I bought a brand new phone at the store in springs cash crusaders, within 3 months the phone gave me problems of over-heating and showing colourful lines on the screen so i returned it to the store for repairs because it has a 1 year warranty. 'til now i haven't received my phone and its been more than 4 weeks not having my phone back. They always tell me stories about my phone as if they don't wanna fix it. (1) They always say next week after next. (2) They said my phone was fixed bt the delivery guy forgot to bring repairs for springs and will bring my phone next week and that was said last week. (3) They called again saying it was a physical damage so they need R850.00 to fix my phone after mentioning that it was fixed and i said i wont comply with that 'cos its a lame excuse that its a physical damage and already said its fixed. (4) They called again to mention that they are sorry they will fix my phone at no cost but they WILL order parts for the phone and will take another 4-5 weeks for the parts to be send to them, so in the mean time they wanna give back my phone unfixed after 4 weeks at their store. All i'm is my phone Repaired, Replaced or Refunded.

I bought a laptop after two weeks I took it back to the store because it had problems they booked it for repair and told me that it will be back after 21 days after they said it is back I went to fetch it n waited for it for 2 hours to arrive to the store when it arrived it came back not working that tool it back to repair m told me to fetch it the following day they called me and said I must fech it the day after the date we agreed on I went a week later to fetch it but they still didn't have it on them they told me to fecht it the day after

Cash Crusaders no customer service lack of politeness

On going into the Cash Crusaders Edenvale Sunday 16 July, they lady at the desk where items are handed in for exchange for money, was not interested, she was in the process of dealing with a client with a lenovo IPAD. I asked the staff what time they closed and was told 1pm... On my return sharp at 12 midday the back door closed ... I was shouted at by this individual, who it would have taken her to minutes to assist the 1st time and 2mins the second time. She was dis-interested, laughed at customers and continued to offer pathetic prices.. People come there in dire need ... She showed me some bogus site where she gets prices from... The Cash Crusaders in Edenvale is disgusting and the staff are totally inefficient, rude and have a lack of anything for anyone. We in South Africa have the worst customer service

Cash Crusaders amber wm2006 model

Good Day,

My names is Keshia Goliath.

My husband and i bought this specific washing machine at cash crusaders at the Parow center and it had a years warrantee. We've had this machine for just over a year and i was busy doing my washing as per normal, and while the machine was going, the glass door of the machine started cracking and eventually broke. I have spoken to all kinds of managers and even the operations manager, but they are unable to assist me. We paid over R2000 for this machine. They have all told me that it cannot be fixed due to parts being discontinued. I am so angry, because first of all, money does not grow trees.

They need to either fix it the glass and we can pay for that or give us a new machine. I have never heard of a glass door of the washing machine breaking. They should not sell items that they no they cannot fix. I will most definitely take this further. This is unacceptable!

They won't be able to help as those so-called parts have been discontinued?
I've spoken to branch managers and operations managers but still nothing.
I don't even see the use of posting these complaints, because nothing happens.
People need to stop going to Cash Crusaders, because they are clearly thieves. They take people's expensive goods that they work extremely hard for and pay them chump change. But when they sell the goods, they charge almost triple the amount. It is sad that people go to them for assistance.
Those managers should be dealt with accordingly! I am still so upset, and I'm sorry to hear about your machine. This is really frustrating.

Ours sounds like an airplane taking off when the spin cycle starts. I'm shocked that parts cannot be found for a product they are selling. This is NOT on!

Cash Crusaders cash crusaders strand street near kfc

Mostly a good company with a reliable track record until you get to their strand street branch near kfc. If you are looking to pawn your stuff, be very careful about this branch because they are well known for switching clients accessories and then replacing them with faulty ones that could potentially damage your device. I'm talking from experience and if honest and transparent service is what you need, beware of this particular branch.

Cash Crusaders new cell phone bought

I came to your store in Boksburg as i was desperate to buy a new or second hand phone as my S5 broke and i needed one for my work.

The sale ladies was very good in what they do and sold me a new handset (in house model Doogee X5 model brand new in the box

14 days later the phone starts to reset it self and stop working i did factory reset multiple times and still nothing i decided to go back to the store to seek some help maybe change the phone or get another handset for the same prize

the Manager that did not have even a name tag was very unprofessional and told me without hesitation they cant help me and i need to book phone in for 21 days and leave without a phone to do my work .

Not even tried to ask if i want a borrowed phone as this handset are brand new and i have the receipt that i bought it on the 28th April furthermore no one even mentioned that i have only 7 days guarantee on the handset.

I am really disappointing and i will tell everyone not to buy any phone or product from you again

Cash Crusaders service and purchase

I purchased a brand new fridge from cash crusaders in goodwood paid in full
waited a few days for my delivery even though they promised to deliver it on the Tuesday. They kept hanging up my numerous phone calls and closed the store doors when I got to the store while there were customers inside the store. The manager uses vulgar language and has been swearing at people for the entire time that I was there. They made me book a day's leave the Tuesday because they said the van will arrive at my door at anytime during the day. They wasted my time and have been extremely rude.

Cash Crusaders I went to pawn

I went to cash crusaders on the the 13 july 2016 and i made an extension my Audio bank sub that both with a market value of R2500, My expiry date of my extension was 11 August 2016.I was off sick on that day and i went there to do an extension on the 13 August 2016 and i was told it was going to sold but i pleaded with the manger if if may assist to help with the extension. i was told to do a buy back of which i agreed as i need my sound so badly.the sad part is that i didn't have the full amount of the deposit i tired to ask for help but there was no help.

Is there a way that i can be allowed to extend my contract as its only two days passed.

Cash Crusaders blackberry 9380

I purchased a blackberry 9380 three days ago from Cash Crusaders Grande Parade at R800 and when I arrived at home I realised my sim card will not work in the device and says "initialization failure" when I placed another sim card in there is worked. I decided to go for a sim swap the next day and the same occurred and I returned to the shop to inform them the phone is useless to me as my number wont work in it and I would like a refund, the manager was not very helpful as in listening to me at all and just wanted his way in the situation and said no refund will I get, the way I light Cash Crusaders has drastically changed and I still want my money back
