Cash America Pawn Store

I have been a customer with cash AMERICA for years. This location has gone down hill! The males that work at this location act like they don't have a clue! One is always on his phone WHILE with customers! The store is not kept up like it use too. Dirty, bugs, un organization! The ladies are nice and helpful. Don't know if they have new management but they need a change! Don't know if I will be back!

Cash America Pawn Upsetting work conditions

I have been in your store several times every time I have walked in there has been an issue with 2 particular employees. The 1st time I witnessed an employee called Edward curse out a young woman on the sales floor with 0 repercussions. The next time I ventured in I wanted the same TVI did before, however all the televisions were covered in dust and dirt and turned off so I had no idea what was working and what was not. I asked the store manager Zach why the televisions were in such disarray he told me the section manager Malik Had not been keeping up with it. I said if you want to sell items they need to be powered on and cleaned just like every other section he responded by saying my leak is having a tough time. I've been back since that visit 4 times and the televisions all look the same every single time, It's disgraceful that these 2 individuals repeatedly do not do their work yet every time I am at the store all the ladies are doing all the physical work while Zach the manager is covering for these 2 males. This door is very discriminatory toward females it's disrespectful. My job is to buy and sell items I buy things cheaply and sell them for a higher price I traveled to many pawn stores this one is the most chauvinist it disrespectful toward women store I have ever seen in my entire 25 year career. I would hope that your company is more tolerant toward women and less tolerant toward this culture of making all the women do all of the work while the males constantly are lazy and disrespectful towards their customers. I personally witness won multiple occasion's this Malik "manager" Dealing with customers while literally on his phone at the same time. If you have any Max S to any version of their cameras I suggest you take a look in to it before there are Charges filed for discrimination based on gender Discrimination and special treatment for one particular employee, Malik.

Cash America Pawn asst mgr leslie

Picked up the ring I purchased & paid in advance for the resizing & was told by the Manager that the guy who sizes the rings for this pawn shop had a death in the family & they would CALL ME to bring the ring back in to get sized. No one called, I called on 2/27 spoke to Leslie she said bring it in he's picking up tomorrow evening, I dropped off the ring 2/28 was told it would be ready Sat 29 or Monday 3/2..We stopped in Sat 2/28 and they lied and said he's really backed up and it's not ready! So today 3/3 we stop back by and the Manager said I told you he's backed up and he JUST PICKED UP THE RING LAST NIGHT 3/2 Leslie lied about it being picked up on 2/28/2020 and the Manager has now lied twice about it being sized! If I had known it was still there on 2/29 I would have got my money back from 3+ weeks ago and taken it to be sized somewhere else! This is very unprofessional by both the Managers! So, I have no idea when I will get the ring back, they should've told me that he never picked it up on 2/28 I'm beyond mad, and want my ring as it was told by that rude and hateful Leslie I would have it by Monday 3/2/2020!

Cash America Pawn employee and overall company standards

Donald Mika is a valued employee that I have come to know for about 3 years now he has been working with Cash America pawn. He has worked over on the Fondren and S. Main Location. I visited the Fondren & Main Location about a year ago and seen a Hispanic lady their and told me Donald was not their. I drove back to griggs location just to recieve the greatest experience that CASH america Pawn has to offer. I go in to CASH america Pawn today 1/23/20. He explained to me that he has been getting over looked and lied to by your company's Management team. He is in the process of having to move out of his home due to financial issues constantly arising. He also did inform me that CASH America Pawn has been promising him more money but has only declined within his employment. He has been missing hours from his paycheck in which Jesus the General Manager of the Griggs stores has still declined to give him his missing hours. He has been utilized as the Brand Ambassador for your company going store to store to represent your management team and still underpaying him. This company seems races and is not a equal opportunity employer. You have two Mexican managers in place as the head person and is not fairly being done in good faith or treating a person the way they would.
Cash America Pawn is Races and takes all the money from the BLACK community to and pawn their items for a little to nothing.. Robbery is what that is.

Cash America Pawn I was rudely disrespected humiliated, and denied a refund of purchas by manager who also callwd the police who instructed me to contact this office.

On January 3rd I purchased a hydraulic jack Cash America on January 6th I return to Cash America Pawn because the hydraulic jack was not working properly initially I did not have my receipt so I was told that I can trade the jacket in for something of value or lesser value which at the time they had another hydraulic jack of lesser value which I think the customer service representative that was helping me at the time was willing to trade which I accepted but that hydraulic jack was on the store room floor it did not work as well so the representative told me being I didn't have a my receipt at all he can do was give me half of my original purchase at that point the lady who identified herself as the manager stepped in and said that she cannot honor or accept the merchandise back because there was a bit of hydraulic fluid I assume on the outside of the jack I asked her why is that because I never used to check I only attempted to use it and it did not work she said that she personally check the Jacks that go on the floor herself and the product wasn't so like that I explained to her that the Jack was wrapped in cellophane when I purchased it so I did not know what was on the outside of the jack she said there was nothing she was going to do about the situation because I did not have my receipt so I left the store went back to my car that was the actual receipt of the purchase return them to the store presented her with the receipt and she said that she still not going to do anything because of whatever fluids from the outside of the Jack and she did not have to refund my money at that point I told her I wasn't looking for a cash refund I was looking for a Jack to purchase and she said I'm calling the police they'll be here leave the store I told her I would not leave the store it's okay if the police come at that point she instructed everyone else in the store not to assist me and the police and talk the situation over they said by law they can't do anything based on her policy but advise me to contact your customer service department

Cash America Pawn the lousy service we received from the assistance manager rachael on 11/20/2019

We were treated like trash, We were talked to like a dirty dog, We felt very disrespected as a human being, we were in great spirit until we walked into Cash America: My son ask me to take him to pay on a loan and to pawn his tablet, we were talking and was asked by who we now know is Rachael the Asst. Manager, my son said to her I would like to pawn my tablet and pay on my layaway. Rachael takes the tablet and looks at it and begins to scroll down his tablet, we were standing there waiting for her to say something and she just stands there not communicating with us and after some time my son asked her what was she looking for. She said in a nasty tone, I'm searching for some things, and we got quite again and then she said what is your E-mail and my son said why do you need to know my E-mail, and she snapped in a very rude and nasty escalated tone of voice, I'm doing my job! Do you want your loan or not?

My son said to her I don't have the right to ask you question, he stated I am not being rude or loud I'm not angry so why are you yelling at me and becoming upset? I just want to know what you are doing and why, since Just a few weeks ago I pawned a tablet and no one ask me these questions, nor did they scroll all through the tablet, so I was just wondering what was going on.

She pushed his tablet towards him with a at attitude and in a nasty tone said have a good day. And she turned on her hills and walked in a door that was directly behind her, and she just left us standing there with no explanations! If I was not standing there witnessing this I would never have believed it. I turned to a young man and asked him was the Store Manager available and he hesitated, you could just tell he didn't want no part of what was going on and he stuttered and said he might be gone or back in the office, and the way he said it I knew he was behind the doors that Rachael disappeared in. I had an hour lunch and they have killed 40 minutes of clock time not wanting to service us. My son asked the young man how can a Store Manager storm off and denied him the ability to pay his bill? Is this a new way for Cash America to put the customer in default and steal their merchandise since it is close to Christmas, because that what it looks like not letting me pay my loan. I looked at the employee and asked him to go get the store manager, He came out with an attitude of taking the side of his Asst. Manager and then calmed down and finally decided to help my son while the Asst. Manager who had know time for us just stood there with her jaws tight, we have been coming there for years and never was treated like trash and talked to so harshly! I am very upset right now and how you all would allow such an evil person to represent your company, if sells are down it's because of the face that you have greeting or not greeting your customer, Rachael need to be trained on customer service skills, she spouted off I'm an Asst. Manager (as if we could'n t see her tag) and I stated so what I'm an office manager and I deal with people on a regular basis, asking me tons of questions and some are yelling and angry, but the difference between you and me is I'm a problem solver and I would never, ever talk to our clients in such a fashion, I am try to build our company and grow our margin line and expand our customer base and if I conduct myself the way you have today, I would run people away and because of the bad experience they would never come back and their word of mouth would spread against the company I represent because I am the face of our company, and you either need to get another job where you don't have to deal with the general public or get training on how to build customer relations, Or Cash America need to change the face that is representing them and as a Store Manager Carlos should have been on the customer side rather he believed us or not instead of his first reaction towards us and then he respond properly afterwards, I have been in customer service for a very long time and is very good at building our customer base line and I am very passionate about customer service skills being performed all levels! Sincerely Very Upset and Saddened Customer".

Cash America Pawn generator

Bought a predator 2000 generator. Put it on layaway and was told I could get the protection warranty when I picked it up . The lady never put it on . Get up camping and plug generator in and it keeps going into overload . Have had it for 8 days . Took it back in and the manager said I can't do anything till you call corporate. Called them and was told it could take up to 3 days for them to make a decision if they will stand behind the product they sold me . The manager said if he Couldn't make the decision to give money back because he gets in trouble . Meanwhile we are up in the freezing weather with a 4 yr old and a 20 month old with us. Last time I do business with these people.

Cash America Pawn television

I stopped by the store to purchase a TV. Once I get to the counter the person behind the counter ring up my TV but did not say nothing about any insurance plans. Which means that now that the TV is not working after having it only 4 days that I cannot get the TV return to get a different TV because nobody offered me the insurance plan that I should have purchased if I had known about it. I did not know anything about insurance plan until I called today and they told me unless you had that insurance plan which they never told me about I got to return the TV so I'm a little angry right now and since I'm an angry customer there's likely a chance that I will not recommend going to Cash America to get anything. Can you please refund my money?

Cash America Pawn sanyo 55 inch tv.

Today I brought my television into there colerain store to apply for a collateral pawn on my television.
My husband ask the representative of the store where he should place the television due to its size on the counter she advised him that because they tested their to set it on the counter. After about 10 minutes another representative puts in on floor.
My husband told him he wanted kept on the counter for the safety of the television. I approached the counter when the representative picked it back up off the floor and put it back on the counter for our application and he plugged it in and the bottom inside screen is cracked. I am extremely upset over this. The guy even acted like he wanted to fight my husband over his non acceptance of guilt by putting my television on the floor. We've never put this television on any floor. I don't care about the money as much as i do my family's entertainment. The pawn was for today only. I get my paycheck added to my account in the morning and was going to pick the television up. all things considering it's a great loan for the short time needed. but the guy cracked my television. So now I have to use that paycheck to go purchase another TV this morning. you are responsible for handling my property in your store.
And it's all on tape..

Cash America Pawn customer service

8/10 k 10:10am, My pregnant wife, my daughter and I walked into the store to purchase a 32" tv. No one was in the store. There was a man and a woman behind the counter. No one greeted us. I stood in front of the 32" tvs but only one was powered on. I stood in front of the tvs for about a minute examining each one. The tv I wanted to purchased was unplugged so I pulled it out further to see if it had enough hdmi slots for what I planned to use the tv for. Both ask, "Do you need help?" I asked the woman at the counter, "Is there any way I you can power in the tv so I can see the screen before I buy this tv?" She said, "They're plugged up. Don't you see that tv is on!?!? in a snide manner. Then she proceeded around the counter and stated, "You better not have messed up my tvs!?!?" I kindly said, "No. They're fine." She angrily said, "No! They're not fine! If you scratch any of these tvs, you're going to pay for it!" She walked up to where I was and she started looking behind tvs for damage. While she was inspecting the tvs, I walked over to family and said, "Let's go. I don't want to buy a tv from here. I'll go to another store." I'm not sure what I did to make the woman behind the counter so upset but that is the type of person I would running my business. She was just rude go no reason. I went back in the store 45 mins later to take a photo of the woman and the tv wall for reference.

Cash America Pawn longines men’s watch

Eight months ago I entered into a layaway agreement to purchase a long jeans watch from Cash America pawn 800 S. State in Salt Lake City Utah. I have been a regular customer here for quite a few years I spend money often in this pawnshop in fact quite a bit of money. So eight months have gone by and I have $800 down towards this watch that is $1500 to redeem when I came to make another payment for the next month that was due I was a few days late but stayed in contact with the store location when I arrive on the 11th of July I was told my watch had been sold to somebody else and that I'm going to have to just forget about the $100 I had down on this watch I did my very best to speak with the managers at this location with little or no help whatsoever in retaining any of the $800 I had down on this watch they basically Told me that I was [censored] out of luck. I don't feel this is right at all to do to me especially a customer that's been doing business at this location for years I spent money at Christmas time I spend money throughout the year I am always in this pawnshop by and things and planning things. I feel like there's more to the story about this watch because apparently I was told that the morning it was pulled which was the day I came in to pay off my watch the watch was supposedly bought by the second customer that came in the store which to me doesn't make sense considering one of the managers told me he had his eye on this watch and was a little bit bummed out that I had gotten it and he didn't which leads me to believe that he just decided to screw me because he wanted my watch no I can't prove this but doesn't it sound a little bit unfair to sell a watch that has been being paid on for six months or longer that has $800 down on it there's no chance that somebody is not going to come back that has that kind of money on a Watch and they know who I am just wanted to tell my story in hopes that I can get some help

Cash America Pawn hours

I arrived 8 min early to make final pymnt on layaway of 500.00 purchase. (I and husband made 3900.00 in purchases at 5 cash america locations this month. So i frequently go and spend at locations thru san antonio as i drive around).Rude and attitude...no customer service skills at 8706 perin beitel san Antonio tx 78217 with Employee Eric.Doors were locked. When i knocked on door employee Eric walked to door and asked what i needed. I let him knw a pymnt and he told me thru glass door he couldn't take pmt because they were closed . i told him it wasn't 5 on a sunday yet and showed him time on phone. He said that cash america goes by hours on computer. I told him to let me make a pmt or i was making a complaint. He opened door. I daid you know i am going to make a complaint afterall because it wasn't right about attitude he gave because he wanted to leave for the day. He said with attitude...Uh yeah. I made pmt w norberto which was nice thru FINAL pmt transaction at thus location that took less than 2 or3min. It was for a pmt not shopping! I couldn't get this Employee (Eric)to take my money for Cash America! When i asked Norberto for the time on computer after waiting in line after 1 other customer in front of me that WAS taking their time it was barely turning 5:02. I had been in line for 4 min. I looked at and told Eric (who told me when i knocked on door that it was past 5 on computer) that what he told me wasn't true about computers showing past 5. He then said"well, i didn't lock the door." Employee Jocelyn was walking around listening, but did not acknowledge complaint at all.( i'm stating this because i assume she was in charge there as she ended up locking door again). No apology or explanation by any of 3 Employees up front. Upsetting..embarrassing that i had to knock on door and feel like i had to beg to take pmt. Cash America Pawn due date over the telephone

I have been going to cash America pawn for over a decade. I have been able to call my store and find out my due date using my Drivers license number without issue, until recently. How does using my drivers license number to find out my due date affect the privacy of my info? I am the only person who can pick up the item so why am I not allowed to find out the due date over the phone using my DL#? Even if someone had my drivers license, they wouldn't be able to pickup my item without the original ticket. I am completely opposed to this so-called privacy policy.

For reference, I live in Lubbock Texas and use the Cash America Pawn on 50th and the West loop.

Cash America Pawn service

I was in Cash America to get a television out of pawn and I stood there for a good 15 minutes. The girl working the counter was dealing with a customer, training a new employee, and had to answer the phone everyone it rang. The manager did manage to answer the phone once to talk to a customer, came up to the computer saw me standing there and when finished went back into the back. How lazy does your manager have to be to not help a customer if another employee who is already helping another customer is busy? It wasn't like there was a long line, I was the only one standing there cause no one else wanted to wait that long. When it was my turn the employee Jonica I believe was her name apologized for my wait which I do appreciate.

Cash America Pawn bad business

On May 31, 2019 I purchased a Honda self propelled lawnmore from the Cash America on Cypress St in West Monroe, LA. Now I will admit I am 67 years old and never purchased a lawnmower so I know nothing about them except for what the person that sold the lawnmower told me. On Saturday morning I got up to go mow my lawn and could not get the blades to engage. I called the store and the manager named Lee was supposed to call me back in 30 mins. 1.5 hours later I called the store and the girl that answered the phone hung up on me. I called back and she stated she kept saying hello and I would not respond. I could hear people in the background and was trying to explain to her that I needed to speak to Lee or Scott or someone who knew about the mower. I called a local mower company who the man was nice enough to wald me through engaging the blades. Then the problem was that the mower needs a grasscatcher bag as it quits running when it does not have the bag. 2.5 hours later still no call so I called the store and he answered I advised him I had gotten the mower running and now I would have to find a bag for the mower to make it run properly. I did state to him that his staff seen me coming and I feel like them have given me the shaft as an unsuspecting customer. Lee was also advised there would be a complaint filed and he just said ok and laughed.

Poor customer service and attitudes at this store. I was taken advantage of there is not doubt in my mind and I will post this incident on my social network to advise not to use Cash America.

Cash America Pawn customer service

On Thursday may 30 about 1 pm. My husband and i went to cash america in Saraland Alabama. The pawn broker tesse was not a very friendly individual while everyone eles that works there was. She didn't hardly even speak during the transaction.
I did notice she only offer me $15 dollars for the toll boxes that i was selling and she put a price tag of $98 and some change. I should have been able to get $25 for two tool boxes.
She is unfair to the customers.

Cash America Pawn I had returned a television

I had pawned a TCL television with them on 4/22/2019 And went to get it out of pawn on 5/2/2019 with my PayPal debit card, they refused it because it was 6:45 pm and they were closing. They said I can buy a TV with my card but not get a pawn out. My wife had a stroke and does not have anything to do at home, so I bought one the same as the one I pawned a TCL smart 32" TV for $84.53 and when I tried it at their shop it did not show the lines because of the glare from the fluorescent lights. They were closed but I took it back the next morning at opening and they refused to make it good. This was the very next day, because they were closing and I had to talk to the manager. When I got there I talked to an assistant manager and she said that the manager will be in at 5 pm, which was a lie She told me they will not refund me money or give me another, or even give me my TV I have in Pawn that would have been $87.50 to get out by 5/22/2019. They refused to get me a manager to get a refund for selling junk. They told me I should have bought a warranty for $10 more for 30 day coverage, which I think is not a warranty at all. Now I am stuck with a TV with Horizontal lines across the screen, and I have a perfectly almost new TCL 32" in pawn that I tried to get out in the first place, but they would not take my card. It was a PayPal card and is supposed to help with refunds, but I have to wait another 30 days for the dispute to be investigated. We are on small budgets and can't afford to lose $84.53, when I could have my own TV back and everything would have been fine. This outfit is selling junk that don't last long after leaving the shop. A New TCL TV is only $138 at Walmart, and I would have waited till the next morning but had to work until 5pm the next day and had to go in late because they told me to talk to the manager when I called at 9:30 am on 5/3/2019.
My card last four is 5779 PayPal Prepaid, and the Shop is Cash America at 1503 W. Highway 16, Ste. B Griffin, GA 30223.
Bought on 5/1/2019 at closing, and went back the next Morning at 9:30 am and got an assistant that said to come back at 5pm to see a manager, but she lied and said that the manager was not there and he said that they will not refund or exchange it. I paid $84.53 by PayPal card Mastercard.

Cash America Pawn the service

The service there is ridiculous.the assistant manager who is named Lisa saw a line but was sitting in the office eating... I was there almost an hour just take something out and people literally were waiting for a while to be helped. They treat customers like crap. This is the cash America pawn on 50th and the loop in Lubbock TX. I will NEVER pawn or buy anything there again.

Cash America Pawn treating customers like criminals

Your location at I-10 and Gessner in Houston, Texas forces a customer to surrrender his driver's license before he may look at any secured item such as guns or jewelry. I have shopped at 100's cash and this is the only one who treats a customer in this manner. This tells me that there is no such cash policy. I want you to instruct the area manager and store mananager to cut this you know what out. It is deminning and insulting.

Cash America Pawn Cashier Scam

On April 20, 2017 I Reginald I. Cox was short change. I was renewing a pawn ticket and the amount of 94, 20 to a male cashier on ticket no. 317793 which I give him 100.00 dollars and he only give me 80 cents he return.. How the cashier does not short exchange scam is by giving you the change in your hand then give you the pawn ticket too. There by you never get the 5 dollars back cause you are distract by the pawn ticket... Cash American Pawn locate on 8844 pacific Ave S. Tacoma, WA 98444, I respectfully request that my 5 dollars be returned to me and that this employee be rewritten up or remanded/ Think you for your time and courtesy and any help in this matter.
