I am writing you again to find out if you have any information or updates about my complaint the fact that you took money from my bank account and I did not pick up the car because you didn't has the car I tried to rent as it should have been. It's been over 20 working days. I would like to know What is going on? I want my refund as soon as possible.
I rent the car online and they took payment and when I went there to pick up they didn't have car for me. I just want my refund. They told me it will take up to 20 working days and it been more then. I'm waiting to hear back and nothing

CarTrawler rent a car / location remboursement

Bonjour j ai soumis une reclamation le 16 juillet [protected] pour ma reservation MA639448270. J ai pres de 900€ dans la nature. Nous nous sommes retrouvers en plein maroc 2 femmes et 4 enfants sans moyen de transport. Je n ai a ce jour aucun retour. Juste un mail me demandant a nouveau de faire une reclamation. Je repars encore sur 20 jours de delai. Sommes nous sur un commerce normal ou bien est ce de l escroquerie organisee.. la j ai besoin d etre rassuree au plus vite. Merci pour votre retour rapide

CarTrawler car hire from avis that I never used

Good morning!

As I have already informed you, I never get the cars and I want my money back. The reason that I didn't get the cars is that I have no credit card to pay the deposit. For the same reason I want my money back for the ref numbers AE580337070 and AE580348110. I also want the money for the extra insurance.

I am very dissatisfied for the reason that you didn't accept my debit card for the deposit or cash.

Please provide me with information about the day that I "ll get my money back. I want it as soon as possible because I run out of my vacation budget because of your procedures. I have to pay every day a taxi because we are 6 persons. The lady from the AVIS desk informed me that I 'll get my money back very soon.

CarTrawler car rental

Hi I had an reservation throw cartraweler (ryanair) nr PT409687360. After I payd the reservation throw debit card I was informed that is impossible to pick up the car without an credit card. I asked to cancel the resevation but they denay beeing less than 24hour till pick up. I contact supplier Europcar and they modified the pick up date in order to have more than 24hours and can cancell the resrvation, contacting the cartaweler they refuse to cancel resrvation too

CarTrawler car hire

hi...

hired a car through Indigo cars at London luton Airport on the 20th july under miss julie Smith...ref GB645740910 it was 84.96...
arrived at the Airport...and was told i couldnt take the car as my pink photo Card licence had expired...but i had the driving summary from dvla in England to cover this fact, that Show clearly i am able to drive until 01 december 2038...i used this to hire a car in australia under the same circumstances and this was no Problem, and it should be the same in the u.k...when i indigo booked the car for me...they didnt even ask any of this Information above. hertz rent a car wouldnt allow me to take the car with all the above Information, were not interested and also didnt even call dvla...left me in a big mess, they wouldnt refund the monies and said i had to take this up with indigo...it left my trip for the week in a mess...with no car and no monies refunded and me having to spend the night at the Airport until i could get a Coach to take me to the North of uk...not happy at all about this Service in anyways and would never use this again...i spoke to indigo about this the next day, and they also were not interested..surely this is not correct...before taking any monies of a customer they should be asked about there licence ? etc...and if dvla say that you can still hire a car with this paperwork, , , , then surely i should of been able to do this...i would like a refund of some description for all of the inconvenience caused and the fact this ruined my trip for the week. customer Service is Zero as far as ive been treated so far...please help ...very unhappy customer ...julie smith

CarTrawler hired and paid car, but were not allowed to take it with us

We hired a car for the 4th of July 2019 at Sixt, Arlanda Airport, Stockholm. We paid it bij Visa in June. We wanted to pick up the car. At first the lady at Sixt could not find the reservation. At last, she found it. But than we had to pay reservation costs (170euro), but we could not remember the pincode of the card. So we were not allowed to take a car. We travelled with an 88 year old lady, who was by than in a stress. A lady at Budget Car, at another office at Arlanda, told us we could hire without pincode. So after 4 hours we were able to fix a car at Herz, which was a blessing. So at the end, we paid at Herz for a car and also the already paid car at Sixt/Cartrawler, which was a lot of money. Please send us a refund of the not used rented car at Sixt. Looking forward to the answer and actions.

CarTrawler car hire, goldcar, malaga airport, spain

Holiday Autos Ref ES599725830 for car hire with Goldcar, Malaga, Spain, 10-24/7/2019. Goldcar ref 16896437. Paid £119.57 + £7.93 payable at desk.
Goldcar charged me 364.22 euros extra (£343.23) less fuel return. I was unhappy with all the damage on the car and was told to take pictures. Once I receive a final statement (will not hold my breath) I will inform you.
Q1 Why have I been charge so much extra.
Q2 Why did Goldcar NOT sign when asked THEIR Check-out form on return?

CarTrawler rental car agency

Had to plan a trip to travel to attend my Grandfather's funeral but the rental car company did NOT hold the car or similar! I was told my deposit would be refunded as long as I didn't actually pick up the car. Now after contacting Customer Service, I have to wait 28 days for a response. This is not the way to handle business and I am thinking of contacting the BBB soon!

CarTrawler rent a car at frankfurt airport took 3 hours

My plane landed at 2.00pm. Car rent time was 2.15 pm. We wait with other customers till 5.45 p.m to get our car. There were 40 customers and only 2 employee from global or buchbinder rent a car.
Complaints and telefon calls hadn't help. 3rd employee left w/o taking care of situation.
Ihad photos where you can see at board 3 screens of waiting people.

What is about my complaint?
My plane landed at 2.00pm. Car rent time was 2.15 pm. We wait with other customers till 5.45 p.m to get our car. There were 40 customers and only 2 employee from global or buchbinder rent a car.
Complaints and telefon calls hadn't help. 3rd employee left w/o taking care of situation.
Ihad photos where you can see at board 3 screens of waiting people.

CarTrawler car ride

Arriving at my home town after a long flight, according to the instruction of the booking the driver should have met me at the meeting area holing my name. I literally read every single sign that was held by people there and my name is no were to be found. First of all The numbers provided on the voucher were remotely numbers from France, Berlin, doblin and I don't know how is that related to providing the drivers number directly. So before I cane out to the waiting area I called the numbers provided to inform that we had a 20 min delay so I asked them to inform the driver.
Second of all when I came to the writing area I called the numbers provided again to tell them my driver is not there and at this stage they provided the number to me. I called the driver and he told me he doesn't have my name and he is outside the airport so I can go to him. I told him that is not what I signed up for?!? And that isn't what the company represented and mentioned ? So while I told him how you are going to know who I am without knowing me and u want me to come outside and stay in the heat of Dubai he hung up the phone on my face. I thought maybe we got disconnected but once I called back and realize he wasn't answering and after 10 calls he pick up, I asked him did you hung up the phone on me He said yes cause I was shouting ?! I am very straight forward person and I don't sugar coat when people make a mistake and cut them slacks, they charge for the service they need to stand tall to it. So I talk with a very serious voice but shouting he had no idea what shouting is if I wanted to shout. And even if I was shouting he shouldn't be hanging up the phone. So after he found me and I told him I will complain because he didn't have the right to hung up the phone on me, he was offended and walking to his car and I had to call him and say excuse me u r supposed to carry the suitcase ?!?! So he got more offended . At this stage sitting in the car I told my sled I will let it go things happen but upon drop off I get triggered again . dropping me at my residential entrance Even though I gave him instructing he acted as he can't read or doesn't know how to read or drive !? So I get out of the car with rage and told him to pop up the trunk so I can get my suitcase. He gets out in the most relaxed way and stair at me and tells me that he is trying to respect me?! And I am the one not helping the situation. I told him the one who crossed that line was him when he hung up the call on my face. So my door man was there and the security camera's have this on the record.
So I come home and call the customer service number and complain about the situation and I asked them where the company base is and what kind of service they are running. I get silent treatment and once I told the guy that I didn't call an overseas number to get answered not silent treatment he tells me I don't allow him to talk! I asked questions and I was waiting for answer ? And I hasn't to say hello at least 4 times to make sure the line is not disconnected and just because he didn't have answers he hung up the phone on me and no matter how many times I called. They'd dis not answer the call after that. Is this who you train your staff and provide service. People pay money to get offended and harassed by ur employees ?! I will never use your services again and will tell my friends and families, And I will make sure that Emirates.com # Emirates will know about the kind of service your are providing. Oh and btw the driver was Pakistani and I know their language so when he received a call and was telling the other party that I am going to make a complain about him he should have given the chance that what if she knows the language!

CarTrawler office closed on us 10 minutes after our car was due to be picked up

We booked a car very near to closing time. This booking was happily acepted by the local agent. However the office closed on us only 10 minutes after our car was due to be picked up, without waiting for us. By the time we got there, within 30 minutes, the agents were gone. were informed that our booking was valid for 3 hours, but nobody was there. When we came back in the morning, we found out that the booking was cancelled.
We were not contacted by phone despite them having our local number, and they cancelled our reserve but charged us anyhow, and they refuse to refund us.
Never came accross such and unproffessional bunch.

CarTrawler theft of money from my credit card

I booked a vehicle on line to pick up at Dublin Airport on 14 June - Reservation number: C1136513. On arrival there was no vehicle large enough to accommodate 5 people and luggage and they also required an additional amount for insuring the vehicles they had available. We cancelled the booking and was assured no payment would be processed. On our return to South Africa I notice there is a charge of ZAR786.79 for ET*Carhire Cartrawler on my credit card. I have been in contact with Europcar and they advise that they did not put this through and that it was processed by your company. Please could you refund this amound ASAP.

Reservation N° ES525743270; Retrait Malaga - Airport; 14/05/2019.
J'ai réservé cette voiture a retirer chez FireFly.Réservtion faite via Vueling.
Coût total de cette réservation: 193.77€;
Lors de prise en charge de la voiture à Malaga, l'agence n'a pas voulu reconnaître cette réservation. Pour obtenir la voiture l'agence a émis un nouveau contrat dont le total est de 472.78€.
J'ai dû accepter car j'avais besoin de 'une voiture.
Je n'ai pas pu me faire rembourser.

CarTrawler charged for vehicle I never received

I rented a 12 seater van from Thrifty to help transport eight girls to gymnastics camp. Once I arrived at the airport to pick up the van, they told me they didn't have one available and best of luck to me. I finally found one hours later for triple the price. One week later, I was billed for the 12 seater that I never received. I called THIFTY where the proceeded to tell me I rented from car trawler. My confirmation # is from Thrifty and my charge on my credit card is from THRIFTY. They said I prepaid, which wasn't even an option at the time. If I prepaid then they should have had a 12 seater available. If I did prepaid why was my credit card charged one week after the debacle at the airport. Once again, Thrifty is taking absolutely no responsibility. I've called three times and each time I have been hung-up on because no one at Thrifty wants to help. Just refund my money for a service I never received.

CarTrawler I am complaining about the car rental company wrote 45 euro from my credit card

I've rented a car from in June second till June 6th. I've got my money back because the car was in good condition. Now a month later they wrote 45 euro from my account. I don't now why because there was no email. The rental company signed my papers after they checked the car because everything was good with the car.
I would like to have the 45 euro back in my account.

Ils ont refusé ma Mastercard car elle est de Cembra Money Bank. J'ai du payé une assurance tout risque de 195 euro pour obtenir le véhicule.
Je n'arrive pas à obtenir de B-rent qu'il me montrent où se trouve cette clause dans les conditions générales.
Je demande un remboursement de cette assurance perçue injustement

CarTrawler I saw a trial payment on my credit card

Dears,
I saw a trial payment from cartrawlers on my credit card, on the same date and time as my Ryanair payment (I booked a flight with them). I have no rental car booking confirmation or whatsoever and also have no intention to book a car.
I want to know why I got this trial payment on my credit card and if I have a rental car reservation in your system. I do my bookings with [protected]@hotmail.com and the travel date is on 30 July 2019.
Could you please send a reaction and confirm I have no car rental reservation with you and ensure I won't be charged on my credit card.

Not sure about this one but dishonest RyanAir tricked me out of nearly €200 a few years ago. I paid for the flight and then a pop up box came up with a really cheap deal to hire a car from Goldcar in Barcelona which included all taxes and car insurance. I bought the deal hiring the car on my card. When I went to pick up the car I was told I had to pay nearly €200 extra to insure it as RyanAir did not include the insurance even though it says it does on their site. I had no other choice but to pay the difference which RyanAir refused to pay me back. I tried for months but the crooks in RyanAir got away with it on that occasion.

CarTrawler it433634950 unethical business behavior

I hired a car online for a two weeks holiday. When I wanted to take over the car at the desk of Hertz in Bari-Airport/Italy (on the 8th of June) the customer service staff said that I am not insured. I knew that I booked the best coverage I could get online. After some discussion I clearly said to the lady that I do not need any further insurance. When I received the rental slip I realized that there are a lot of values mentioned, that's got nothing to do with what I have booked. I booked the car for a total value of 430 Euro. I could't find the value on the slip, therefore I asked "what is that all about on the record?" She replied: "That all's fine, everything is covered by the voucher. The credit card will only be charged whenever there will be a deductible in case of a damage of the car." I finally accepted that and signed everything as requested. Later that day I've got the feeling that I was cheated. I tried to call the Italian service phone number indicated on the rental slip several times. Only the answering machine picked up the phone. Still on the same day I issued a complaint to Hertz customer service in Germany. It took them 17 days to tell me that I have to get in touch with CarTrawler, because they can not help me in this case. On the same day (25th June) I sent a complaint email to CarTrawler. No reply till today (30th June). In addition to the insurance that I`ve never asked for, there are some more positions charged to my credit card e.g. tank refuel charge - even though I never ordered this service (I was not even asked) and I refueled the tank just before I put the car back to the car park of Hertz. In total a value of 1107, 72 Euro has already been charged to my credit card. I totally disagree with the amount and therefore I ask you herewith to investigate the case. Finally I expect the full amount of money to be remitted back to my account. Attached you will find pictures of the Rental record as well as the email from Hertz.

CarTrawler was refused to get the car

I made a reservation within cartrawler website for Sicily by car company. Reservation IT616542830. However when I came to pick up the car I was refused by company to get it.
