Carrefour iphone 6s warranty

Had very bad experience with Carrefour Abu Dhabi Delma mall after purchasing iPhone 6s. I was assured 7 days replacement warranty at purchase in case of any manufacturing defect but was denied the same on detecting unresponsive screen problem after 3 days. I was asked to talk to Apple retailer directly and but Apple refused to do it. Unfortunately I was not aware of the hidden polices and fell for their false promise. If I had purchased the phone with direct retail store or stores providing apple warranty and support, then i would had 14 days replacement warranty for any manufacture defects and 1 year support from apple directly.

Warranty not as per Apple warranty... they are selling products from grey market with no proper warranty.

Carrefour purchase of sony xperia z5

This is about my recent purchase of Sony Xperia Z5, made on 11/26/2015 at Carrefour Airport Road (Abu Dhabi). Upon switching on the mobile phone, the screen presented dark spots at several locations. After presenting the faulty screen at the Carrefour staff on 11/25/2015, I was informed that the repair would take a min. of 14 days. However, when I asked if I would be given a replacement phone, I received no suitable response. The duty manager also informed me of the same in a polite and professional way. At this point I need to point out that the approach provided by Carrefour is completely impractical, as it totally misses the customer's view and needs. I paid the amount of 2, 499AED for this mobile phone, only to discover that the screen is faulty, and that to get it fixed I will be left with no mobile phone for an undefined period of time. On top of that, I point out the mobile section manager whose behavior was ironic and unprofessional. I found the total experience very unpleasant and inconvenient. Given the fact that another item I recently bought from the same store was also faulty, I am inclined to permanently stop buying from Carrefour and suggest the same to friends, unless a satisfactory solution is provided. At this point, I expect Carrefour to replace the faulty phone with a new Z5 device and minimize the damage done to my personal time and their reputation.

The above experience just about sums up Carrefour. Poor, pathetic & abysmal customer support or service. I bought an LG TV from them in December 2015. It worked well till 1st week in Feb 2016. Then it broke down. Lines across the screen. I then informed Carrefour Customer Service. They dully visited & inspected the TV & declared it was damaged. They would then advise me the cost to get it repaired. The product should be covered by one year warranty but all attempts to convince them failed. They simply would not listen. They do NOT respond to my requests for a rational, technical report on the cause of the loss of the picture. In other words they are ignoring their responsibility, which is to honor the warranty. Carrefour are the worst rip off merchants I have come across in recent years. They are quick to take your money & in return they supply you with cheap shoddy crappy goods. Course when it breaks down, they do NOT want to know. Absolute Bar Stewards.

Carrefour unethical behaviour

Date: 14.11.2015, Store : 011 Mall of the emirates, Cashier : Medy Migue, invoice seq number : 008786.The cashier was very rude, sarcastic, nasty and insulted me at the counter. She was arguing with me repeatedly on entering my card pin which I had bypassed already, after being charged. " The machine is asking for the pin right? SO PUT YOUR PIN". This behavior is unacceptable and is a mental harassment.Kindly educate your staff that in case they need to verify card owner u can check the signature on back of card or ask for ID in doubtful situations if necessary.

Carrefour repair not completed after 7 months of registering delivered damaged lg fridge freezer

Waiting repair of LG Fridge Freezer door since 14 May 2015. Product was delivered damage. Accepted with promise of repair as last item in stock. I have called the store and LG over 50 time and visited the store 5 times. 2 Engineer visits to take pictures. No action to date This raises the question can Carrefour be trusted and are you just waiting for me to arrange and pay for repair myself? Completely unacceptable to wait over 6 months!

Carrefour customer theft

À qui cela concerne Je vous écris pour vous informer d'une d'une activité illégale que je l'avais été victime de sur le 15 octobre 2015 à 16h12 à partir de la branche Antibes Carrefour City. J'y suis allé pour faire une petite boutique quand il est venu le temps de payer, je tendis le caissier trop de mon argent sans se rendre compte que je suis plus payants. Le projet de loi était 8, 18 Euro et je avait remis ses 2 x 10 Euro notes. Elle a à la fois des notes mis une seule note de côté et puis m'a délivré un récépissé disant que je l'avais payé seulement 10 euros, la caissière avait gardé l'autre 10 Euro pour elle-même que je l'avais payé. Je l'avais quitté le magasin sans se rendre compte, et quand je suis rentré et a eu un oeil à la réception réalisé m'a volé. Je suis retourné à l'Carrefour pour affronter le caissier qui a plaidé l'ignorance. Je me suis alors demandé à parler avec le directeur pour les informer de cette affaire, mais sans aucune chance. À la fin de la journée cela est contraire à l'éthique, je ne me soucie pas de l'Euro 10, mais le principe que je fais prendre en compte est que le caissier a pris mon argent et l'a gardé pour elle-même et m'a menti et ses collègues à ce sujet. Je dirais à la gestion à la gestion à surveiller ce genre d'activité illégale et ayant caméras placées dans les bons endroits peut-être de suivre cette activité illégale. Merci pour votre temps, je souhaite que vous obtiendrez cette pratique contraire à l'éthique interdit au sein de votre entreprise. Cordialement Marc O

Carrefour vacuum cleaner

I purchased a re chargeable vacuum cleaner a carver own make and it wouldn't keep the charge after 2 months, took it back and wanted to exchange it for a more expensive one and pay the extra 74euros I was told i could not do this and as i live an hour away and do not have transport i could'nt pick it up once repaired, they said they would email me a ref no and i was to package it up and post it free of charge and they would post it back after repair, two weeks later still waiting for email from them with the ref no, this is crazy, better to have taken more money from me and exchange it then going to the expence of postage and repairs, i wont be buying again in this store, shame

Carrefour repair of tv set under extended warranty

Dear Sirs,
I have submitted my TV set for repair on 25Jul2015 at Sharjah Branch under Extended Warranty Agreement.

The set was not repaired within one month as agreed, and according to the warranty conditions I am entitled to a Voucher corresponding to the price I paid. The branch has refused to give me the voucher.
I sent complaint to Carrefour UAE but they did not respond after one week, and they didn't give me any reference number.
Kindly advise and resolve this issue.

Carrefour samsung dish washer not working

18 August purchased dish washing machine from Carrefour Mirdiff City Center. It is Samsung. It was not delivered on the promised date nor a contact provided for delivery. Therefore contacted Carfour for 3 times for the delivery. it end up with no return. Later at Mirdiff city center customer service, personally cancelled the order and asked for refund. Promised refund by Saturday as no work on Friday. Saturday chased Carrefour for refund, and didn't get respond. I had put written complaints via Carrefour website 3 times. After all complaints, no refund.Samsung delivered the machine without my will. I suspected the machine might be faulty, i put another complaint to Carrefour of not wanting it. Despite this, it is delivered. As i assumed, it is not working, basickly not washing the dishes tried 3 times in 7 hours about. Called Carrefour to return, they revert to service depart. I want replacement of machine. Could someone help on this matter, I feel like being bullied.

The same thing happened with me from abu dhabi marina mall carrefour.this time mine was a tv.after choosing the brand while they were billing theysd the product is no longer available..altho its in the catalogue till end of the month.we ended up buying a higher priced product.the salesman promised delivery and installation in 4day.tday aftr 6 calls to the pathetic call centre the tv came.but thy sd pple wd come later to install it.i calld cstmer service..agn thy showed thr helplesness.pissed off.thought of returning product but after reading ur review im worried.

Carrefour negative support / followup

I’m forwarding my complaint to your attn which is regarding the negative service and support faced during my visit to one of your branches in Qatar. During our last day in Qatar before travelling back to Bahrain.
Although it has been officially reported to the management member with official complaint declaration as per the attached photos including the complaint snapshot.
The issue raised while we were passing through the chocolate section SNICKERS’s stand with excessive POUNTY’s weight where the stand got disturbed due to trolley’s movement with no physically touch.
Once failed over my child who was stayed in the trolley and got injured and started screaming followed by related staff immediate action for rearranging the stand and collect the chocolates and as per their analysis the cartoon stand can’t handle the placed weight!
I asked for any help which can be offered to my child such as a piece of ice cube, tissue or a single blaster with no singly response….
I escalated the issue to the customer service counter followed by calling the manager in due and I got the promise to get an official reply with apologies. I have requested the manager to review the recorded tape in the assigned camera for better justification.
Till date, I have no single response. So, is this the servile level expected from such international brand store, branded chocolate trademark.
Honestly, I got shucked from the behavior of such international trade marks including the ignorance of my complaint.

Carrefour refusal for return service

Bought two itunes card at 15 euro each for my kids. My kid actually saved his money for it. After having bought the cards, it appears these do not work with foreign ipads/appl id's. So the card are useless to me. I returned to Carrefour to get my money back. The employees were very short on communication and refused to give my money back claiming that Apple products cannot be returned?! I should take it up with Apple! This is the owther way around! Carrefour should not put the product problem on my shoulder. Every product bought should be returnable withing 7 days if it doesnt work properly! They just said it was my bad luck! Such a rude company. Never buy anything at Carefour again!

Carrefour samsung galaxy note 4

Dear sir/ma'am

I am Mujahid Kadri, I have purchased a new Samsung galaxy Note 4 on 4th July 2015. After buying the phone I observe that whenever I call or use some application the phone become too hot that I cannot keep the phone near my ears. And also hang for some time. Besides the new problem is that the phone doesn't detect memory card. When I proceeded to complete the same issue on 9th July 2015 (5 days after purchasing the phone) the salesman formatted my phone and ask me to come tomorrow if the same problem occurs. So I wait and watch over my phone for one day, but it gave me the same problem. So I went back to Carrefour and ask for the replacement because as per the Carrefour policy "if any problem occurs within the 7 days, then we will get a on desk replacement" when I ask for the same in after sales service, first they told me to wait and they started checking the issue and they also found the same issue of hanging and heating up, then they started calling for other persons and I explained the same problem for the 4 people and one of the guy from the team started shouting on me and told me that "go at home or do whatever you want to do, we will not give the replacement" and he throw the purchase receipt on my face. While doing that I took his picture and again he sought on me and came toward's me like he is going to bite me.
I have also raised a complete in Carrefour complaints and suggestions form. but they haven't took any step

Carrefour really bad customer service

Really bad service, unprofessional employees, no regard to customers time.
Was waiting for an hour to get a price adjustment of about $7 on an item that was on sale but register wasn't giving the discount. Finally left without buying the item because I realized the employees where pretty much having fun with the situation instead of fixing it and adjusting the price. They sent someone to check on price which took 25 minutes, he came back, told the guy at register the price I indicated was correct, meanwhile the guy at register was checking other people out. Then they said they need to get a new price code which will show the discount, another 10 minutes, then they said we need to get the manager from upstairs, manager came 20 minutes later but insisted she was informed only 5 minutes ago.
Anyway, then the manager wanted me to carry the item upstairs because the cash registers downstairs couldn't handle the discount, yes I had to carry it upstairs if I wanted the discount( they had over 10 registers downstairs). Just unbelievable, at that point I just walked out because I knew it was going to be another 30 minutes or more to take care of this issue which should just take less than a minute. Plus I was so mad, I didn't want to end up assaulting anyone which I was really tempted to do.
In short, I really wonder why they don't just take care of the customer, isn't that their job? They made me feel like I was trying to cheat them by $7, My family and I spend at least $1000 monthly on groceries there, no more, time to find another place which values customers.

Carrefour bad shopping experience / racism

shopping is an experience. where some people enjoy it. I enjoy shopping specially at Carrefour. where it is not like any regular store.
I am a regular costumer to Carrefour since long time, where I have already visited it countless of times. I don't live in Buraidah. but every time I visit it I must pass by Carrefour. total of my visits to Buraidah Branch are 5 times. Today at Buraidah branch, I had my 3rd bad shopping experience at Carrrefour. which is considered too much of bad experiences compared to amount of visits. isn't?

All of those bad shopping experience came from your employees. I could have reported them all. but I am not that kind of people who get pissed off so easily. today was critical that's why I am reporting it.

here is the story, me and my little family were planning on our days off to enjoy our time and visit Buraidah. not much to be done over there, but there is always a good place to visit and that was Carrefour. so we headed there at this morning. my wife was pushing my little baby boy on our baby trolley entering the shop. she had with her 2 bags. one for the baby which carry's his baby stuff. the other bag was her handbag. I was just behind them. I told my wife: you go in. I will grab a shopping cart and I will be catching you up. she went in with no trouble at all. me who was just after them could not get in that simply. because I was carrying my own handbag. which for some reason the security guard did not allow. He says: Sir you are not allow to go inside the store with this bag. I replied: why not?. he says: since it is against our policy. you must keep your belongings here before you go shopping. I replied back: this is my personal handbag which I carry almost everywhere. Inside it are my personal stuff. my wallets, my passport, my mobile phones, my keys and other goods. he says: but still you are not allowed to take the bag with you. I replied: if that so. then why did you allow that women to go shopping inside your store carrying 2 bags and a big baby trolley. Isn't she breaking your polices?. I said that while I am pointing at my wife where she was already in and not paying attention to what is happening between me and the guard. I continued: you could have stopped her and told her about your polices. he replied: we are not allowed to speak to women. shockingly I said: why not? do your polices are only applicable on men?. he said: yes. I replied: well, that is a racism. what is the different between me and her? both of us are going to shop in your store and both of us are carrying at least a handbag and mine is much smaller then her. not to mention that she has another one. he replied: but still that will not allow you to go in unless you handover your handbag. at that time I got frustrated. I said: are you even paying any attention to what we are talking about?. I don't think you care about your customer or what he thinks. another employee joined in the conversation supporting the security guard. he is a customer service. he says: well you are not the only customer. if you don't like it here the way it is, you could go any other place. I got shocked from what he said. it is not professional at all. so I decided to talk to the manager. so I asked another guy for him. he says: he is not here. I left my phone number at the branch and I requested that guy to assure that the manager speaks to me. I called my wife at the cellphone and I told her: leave everything you picked up and let us go out. we are leaving. I am not shopping anymore at Carrefour because of racism.
Such a behavior must not be let. your employees need to know how to act since they are a representative of Carrefour. Either they are right but they haven't done it the right way. they allowed my wife and didn't allow me. Or wrong. both ways will not be suiting anybody. specially me.

Carrefour severe complaint due to delivery issue

Dears,

I wish this mail find you well. I writing this mail to you to record my severe sorrow for the bad experience I passed through with Carrefour El Obour branch. I bought a refrigerator since 21 March 2015 to be delivered in one week in 28 March 2015, unfortunately I didn't receive anything.
To give you a better picture of my complaint I got a unprofessional phone call from delivery company on 26 March 2015 it was very rude and he was asking me to deliver it in the same day 26 March 2015. I told him with my official receiving date and he answered rudely ok I will call you again.
Then no one called me. I called Carrefour call center and they apologized and informed me that the delivery company will call me again but I got no answer I called them again and the sent internal complaint but I got no answer also.
On 1 April 2015 I got phone call from Carrefour customer service and they informed me that the delivery company will call me on 2 April 2015 or on 4 April 2015 to deliver it, but unfortunately again no one contacted me.

I'm sorry to have such experience with a trusted name like Carrefour. And I'm sorry to inform you that I will go tomorrow to withdraw my money and I want to inform you that I'm really disappointed from this experience which affect Carrefour Egypt trustful name.

Carrefour severe complaint

Dears,

I wish this mail find you well. I writing this mail to you to record my severe sorrow for the bad experience I passed through with carefour elObour branch. I bought a refrigerator since 21 March 2015 to be delivered in one week in 28 March 2015, unfortunately I didn't receive anything.

Carrefour no commitment and staff attitude

I bought Items for garden and they schedule the delivery after three days, and on the day of the delivery the call to reschedule and paying to the attention that I reschedul all my commitments and appointments of that day because they don't know the time of the dilevery and when I told the manager that he says ok will deliver the damaged items to you then ! When replied back that I bought and paid for items in their manfacutyre condition then he said will cancel your order and refund you back !

Carrefour worst job experience

Hellow everyone... I am currently an employee of hyperstar (carrefour) and my experience of job is the worst experience here at hyperstar. I am not blaming the one who is reading this but trust me everyone at hyperstar wether he is a merchandiser or chef or a stocker, everyone just hate hyperstar here. Now what is the reason of this situation? The reason is they dont have any punctuality.. Let me tell you about me, I am an emloyee of hyperstar and I am doing job of about 11 hours and 10 minutes a day sometimes or it would be better to say that I work there for about 12 to 13 hours whereas the timings are 8 to 5 and 10 to 7... Why? Why they dont think of their employees.. That is why no one stays there for a long time but the higher managment?
No following of rules.
No punctuality.
Do not care about their employyes.
Some managers dont even know what a manager is.
Alot of people ask is this a multinational company? I cant answer them?
I just spent 2 months there and now I am resigning from there.
I know nothing will happen in return of this complain but I think its my duty to inform others what a real multinational company is like hyperstar... Thanx

Carrefour unprofessional staff.

Was very disappointed with the service received in carrefour abu dhabi, sports section. bought a sports machine (dhs.1200), and after a short period of time it stopped working. I have contacted the store for more than 9 times, and after two weeks the company representative finally came to my house to fix it. when he saw the machine, he told me that it was a display piece, that's why it broke so fast. when I contacted carrefour staff, asking them why did they sell me a display piece, they said that they need to check. again, for another week they were checking, then I finally received a call from their "manager" called carol or karol, not sure of the spelling. she was the most unprofessional person I have spoken to. she was interrupting, shouting and was very rude with me. zero customer care skills! if carrefour hires this type of people as managers, than what am I talking about now!
Nothing has been done by them, my sports machine was not fixed. people, be careful when you purchase valuable stuff from them, the customer care is zero, the main aim is to sell for them, after that, they don't care.

Carrefour refusal to issue loyalty coupon for past purchases

Carrefour offers a Loyalty Program which reimburses a percentage of the total amounts spent in any of their stores when using your loyalty card. I am due about 100 Euros in coupons since the start of 2014 and have received nothing. Instead my online account states that I have accumulated a saving of 1.30 euros! An online complaint on the company website has not produced any acknowledgment of my communication, let alone any resolution of the complaint. I have learned from a store employee that I am not alone because customers have been complaining to him about this same problem for months. Carrefour makes commercial promises to lure customers and then breaks the contract and keeps all funds as profit. Carrefour is a global company and should be ashamed to treat customers with such outright dishonesty. Carrefour needs to be "named and shamed."

I have had a card for many years and two days ago I asked the lady at the reception counter why the money off the item was not given to me ...I was told I would recieived a cheque in the post for money saved on my loyalty card ..
I have never ever received a cheque and will now use Lerclerc and forget Carrefour ..
Thank you for nothing ...I will also be writing reviews on this ...

Carrefour failure to honour promo

Carrefour recently ran a promo where they issue stamps for a promo product. In this case a football bear. When its time to collect they state no stock left so they fail to honour the promo and nothing the customer can do. This is simply theft. I never thought Carrefour was so damn cheap that they had to scam customers. The worst thing is the promo is something that kids want so now I have a very disgruntled son and have to explain that some companies like Carrefour are less than honest when there is an extra Rp profit to be made. Carrefour, if you cant deal honestly then dont deal at all. I will take my business to Lotte.
